  • IC-Kalios:"Alright, so, I've done quite a bit with this place," Kalios said with a smile, looking about the home he had made for himself. Now, not only was it the bamboo creation it had been before, he had also made partitions within for extra rooms, and he had brought in some furniture that he may-or-may-not have gotten through roguish methods. But, hey. Who would really care? Just a couple beds, a bunch of chairs, three round tables, and a couple couches.Nothing big.Now that that was done with, and he had most of his weapons (aside from his quarterstaff) safely stored, it was time to get to work on his next weapon.A very fun weapon it would be, as well.

  • IC: ValjaA boat appears over the horizon on the surface of Aqua Magna. No, wait, it's a toa canister! It washes up on the shores of Ga-Wahi and out comes a... Turaga? But, this is no ordinary turaga. This, is the legendary warrior-turaga, VALJA!Valja proceeds to make a "looking for a tour guide" sign. She figures if she is going to fight the forces of evil, she at least needs to know where everything is and what is going on in the region.OOC: Basically, the same as above. Somebody give me the heads-up on what's going on here.

  • IC: SalamanderSalamander shrugged at Kearstrun's words, his expression one of boredom and indifference."You're right. I don't care."He pulled out the journal and held it out to Kearstrun."I've already read it."OOC: I always forget... Which one of us was in control of Salamander when he attempted to kill Tuara? I could probably go look it up, but that'd be a pain... :POh, and I really had to fight the urge to set it on fire... Luckily, I managed to hand it over in one piece... Eventually.
OOC:It was me. :PIC: Kearrstrun - Ga-KoroKearrstrun snatched the book up, "Then you won't mind when I refuse to give it back to you."The Toa of sonics sprinted across the streets, stopping by Praggos, "When everybody split up to do their own thing, I thought you might do the same."He didn't make any eye contact with Praggos as he made his way to the gates, "Once one of us drop dead because of the Marks maybe we'll all wake up and actually do something with ourselves."He looked to the Toa of ice, he didn't much want another Toa Iris had in the same room with Tuara, "It might be wise to go home until we can get everybody together again."With that, The Assistant, in only a couple seconds was out of the village, sprinting along the beach towards Ta-Koro, the opposite direction from the lab.

  • IC: Fives (Bar, Ga-Koro)"Squish-squash, sling that slang! I'm always right back at ya, like my boom--!"Markham J. Alighieri the Fifth, or Fives, as he affectionately called himself, swung his bat with a vicious crack into the teeth of the Vortixx in front of him, and he jumped down from his perch on the bar stool, plucking a cola from the table and guzzling it; the adolescent Matoran sighed, laughed, and slammed his weapon/sporting attire into the eyes of his drunken opponent. The Vortixx had just enough time to see the name of the bat - The F. U. Bar - before he blanked out with a sickening crunch."What? Ya expected a rhyme? Sorry, I musta forgot my nametag at home that said Fives: Ga-Koro's Resident Poet Laurete!" he yelled to the unconscious bodies of the four bar patrons who had seen fit to try and rob him. "Yea, that's whatcha get, messing with Fivesy, I tell ya, you guys are gonna get straight ta' Kahzahni if ya try it again..."Taking another soda and guzzling it, the Matoran swung his bat over his shoulder, plucked his Kolhii ball from the table - signed by Joske Nimil, one of his all time favorite possessions - and walked out into the streets.OOC: Fives open for interaction.-Teezy

  • ICI smirked at the conversation, actually pleased with the progress. Despite Rit's disdain for my behavior, there WAS a beneficial result: she stopped talking to me and began have quality conversation with Wiremu. Classic diversion tactic. The Onu-Matoran wasn't much for ANY type of conversation, so for him to even engage with her was a score in my book, and she was even asking the correct questions - what he does best. All going according to plan. As much as I may be the talkative, outgoing, and in some cases, womanizing prick, Wiremu was the opposite: if he could live in a cave with only his creations forever, he would be happy. Or at least he would think so. We Matoran are social creatures, something that my friend was slowly getting used to. With every conversation with a new person Wiremu came out of his shell a little more, and I was honestly hoping this toa would pull him out a little more. If I exaggerated my flaws people would avoid me and shift their attention to my better-mannered friend... and more politely than usual in an attempt to undercut me. End result: Wiremu getting more attention. Lots more. Already after a few weeks his social skills had improved dramatically. I don't think he noticed however. Unbeknownst to them I had already quite silently moved away and was a small distance down the beach; close enough within earshot but far enough to give them their space. I admit I enjoyed being that guy, the one everyone loved to hate, but the act was slowly getting old. Still, the amount of fans that swarmed me outnumbered the haters by a significant number, so I was safe. Someone has to take the hits around here, and I might as well be him; I have the mental and physical aptitude for both. If Wiremu knew what I was really doing he would not approve, but I didn't care - he needed to get comfortable around people. One day I'll drop the act and be normal. One day. Taking a nearby rock I began to bounce it on my foot, balancing myself on the other while keeping a steady rhythm. Soon I added knee bumps, and quickly both feet and knees. The sand didn't make it any easier, but this was a basic yet essential exercise to keep the feet and legs loose and practiced. Turning to a nearby rock I began bouncing it off the solid wall, rotating then eventually randomizing the knee and foot rebounds, refusing to let the ball hit the sand. So much easier said than done. Knock, thwack, knock knock, thwack, knock head knock thwack, knock, thwack... jump, thwack, spinkick, thack, knock, thwack, full backwards spin knock, thwack, kick kick spin thwack... Surprisingly I felt my frustration fuel my kicks. I guess the constant "not working" remarks must be digger deeper than I cared to admit. One can't keep a body in perfect physical shape without work, something everyone seemed to not understand. Whatever. Their loss. Jump thwack, knock jump kick thwack, knock knock knock knock roundhouse kick CRACK- Catch. I opened my eyes, realizing I was holding two halves of that rock, one in each hand. They didn't make rocks like they used to. Luckily for me, this beach had a plentiful supply of replacements. One day the real Wiremu would emerge; just had to be focefully pulled out it seemed. Knock knock thwack, knock kick thwack...

  • OOC: *shakes off dust*IC: Dekal (Warship Fowadi)The ex-bounty hunter, and current First Mate of one of the most heavily armed ships around the island was doing exactly what was expected of him: sleeping.Well, he was, untill a particularly large wave caused the Fowadi to tip in such a way that the purple-armored Toa of Sonics fell clear off his bed. His head hit the floor with a rather loud, unhealthy sound, and he shot straight up to standing. "OHMATANUII'MAWAKE," he said to the obviously angry universe. Realising that the universe wasn't out to get him today, he glanced around, hoping no one else had heard him. What am I kidding? the De-Toa thought to himself, gathering his weapons, Its just me and that crusty old Fe-Toa Kale on this blasted ship. Cursing the presence of hard floors, Dekal walked out of his cabin and made his way to the deck. Quite unsurprisingly, he didn't meet anyone on his short walk to the staircase up. Walking out onto the deck, he nodded First Mate-like to the nonexistant crew, and b-lined to the gangplank. Off to do his job, the most wonderful adventure of frinding some crew, per Cap'n's orders. Finally, I shall be able to order more people around then just Kale, he thought excitedly, stepping onto the Ga-Koro docks. A small stack of posters was held under his arm as he made his way to every known bar, inn, and general meeting place in the Koro. At each area he placed a poster, before moving on to the next place. Each poster said, if he remembered correctly:

    HOT GA-TOA WANTED!

    . . .No, wait, that wasn't right...

    CREW WANTED!

Join the Guard in the fight against Makuta!

    Sailing experience None Essential!

Fighting, Sailing, Protection of the Koros, and Hero-Worship involved!

Any Species of any Element welcome!

Ask for Dekal in the Darksea Inn!

Satisfied with the amount of posters put up, Dekal made his way to the Darksea Inn near the center of the Koro, hopefully waiting for a new crew.

  • IC:Kehua reclined on his bench in the inn, sipping quietly on his drink. Kaimaen really wasn't the most talktative guy at all, so the big Toa was still waiting for a reply from the stranger Toa sitting opposite from him. He considered just getting up to find help somewhere else. He tried pushing the thought aside, but it continued to linger on. Maybe he should just go...---------------------IC:The knife in Telric's hand sudenly got warm. Very warm. Uncomfortably warm. And then flesh-searingly hot, as Agni heated the shiv up, standing back on the small wooden walkway leading up to the boat from the pier. It got so hot, that the Toa was forced to drop it. "No last meal, you sick sack of dung." the Toa of fire said, rather drily. He was holding several small tablets in his left hand, next to his thigh."I've done everything you requested. The money, the boat...all there. I did not assemble your crew for you though. I am sure you can find your lackeys on your own."He looked at Varia, his eyes meeting hers, to check if she tried to tell him something. "Now, tell us the cure." Agni said. demanded.

So far, no one, but Dekal was prepared to wait, which is why he got food. No, whistling while chewing isn't an easy thing to do, but the prurple-armored Toa managed. Somehow.Too bad Dehkaz hadn't let him add "Hot Ga-Toa Wanted" to the posters, then this job would be fun.
