IC-Raxa:"There's always an opportunity to achieve something more than the death of another," Raxa said. "If you're willing to look into it more." A moment later, he turned to Sinina, a questioning look in his eye."Who, mainly, is the target of your quest for revenge?" He felt he had a good idea of the answer. Hound, or him.
IC: Sinina, Le-Koro"I'm not sure. All of you and your friends seems a bit obsessive... I may just settle on you or the Great Hound." Sinina replied, staring at him disspassionately.
IC-Raxa:Raxa nodded. Just what he'd thought-the main two she'd want to go after were he and Hound. He uncrossed his arms, putting them back on the rail."Fair enough," he said, his voice nearly as dispassionate as Sinina's stare. "Kill me."
OOC: Yay, quotes, I simply love quotes.IC GennoI continued to deflect the crystal shards. It was starting to get tedious, and judging from the amount of time he was expending into keeping me away from him, he must have been planning something. I saw his faxon glow; he had another trick up his sleeve. I needed to get behind him, but how? "Alright Genno," I thought. "You may be slow, but you're still fast. Use what speed that you've got." In an unprecedented display of speed, I dashed at a diagonal angle, attempting to flank Spyder.
IC: Shinn"You're also one annoying little wipe."IC: JLJL closed his eyes. He'd always had an idea, an affinity, a talent, for being...creative and clever. Never, though, has he used this in a battle situation. Today would be the first time. Closing his eyes, he focused. He had always knew that there were electrons in just about every particle in the world. Usually. And that happened in air, too.Part of the reason air repelled each other was because the particles were negatively charged from electrons. Something he could manipulate.QuoteVerak casually but rapidly jerked his body to the side, letting the bolt of solid light smash into a piece of rubble, shattering into the same orange energy that trailed behind the projectile, a glowing line pointing to his attacker. Verak flashed his dazzling smile at Shinn, unfazed by the attack. "That wasn't very kind, brother. I just said I wasn't armed."
IC: ZyronZyron frowned as the blue matoran pushed past Myka."Well excuse me, sir", he muttered to himself. How come some people were so impatient these days?IC: Myka (Inn, Le-Koro)"Nope," Myka smiled, taking the keys and handing one of them to Zyron. An irritated-looking blue Matoran (Xerov) pushed past almost immediately.IC: Xerov (Inn, Le-Koro)I push past the Ko-Matoran as soon as she's gotten the keys, in order to get a room of my own. Sure, I'm being a bit impatient, but it's been a long, long day.
IC: Myka (Inn, Le-Koro) & Xerov (Inn, Le-Koro)Myka rubbed her arm, stiffening as her hand touched where Xerov had pushed her, but showing no other indication of being hurt. "It's okay, Zyron, I'm fine."I turn as I hear the Le-Matoran muttering something, my mouth already opening to make a sarcastic response, when I realise why I recognise the Ko-Matoran. I quickly mutter an apology and then turn back to the desk.
IC (Echelon)Echelon gasped as he was grabbed from behind, baring his teeth. He hadn't been vigilant enough - Tupua had snuck in at close range, and got him in a stranglehold. As his opponent spoke, Echelon used his words to pinpoint the location of Tupua's head. Raising a hand and splaying it in front of Tupua's face, he focused his magnetic powers."But the shadows betray you," he hissed, "because they belong to ME!"Tupua suddenly felt pressure on his skull, like a migraine, as magnetism forced the metal parts of his head inwards. A being's skull was too strong to crush in such a way, but if Echelon was right it would provide sufficient pain to make Tupua drop his stranglehold.
IC:Frii'Glokk peeked out from behind the boulder to see Spyder's back facing him. He stepped out of his cover, fired a quartet of bullets at spyder, and went back behind the boulder to avoid counterattack.OOC: Yay, quotes, I simply love quotes.IC: Spyder
IC: ZyronZyron didn't know Myka well enough to be sure, but somehow a feeling told him that it didn't matter as little to her as she made it seem to do.Moreso, that stranger's apology somehow didn't seem quite... fitting. A bit too fast. The Le-matoran wondered what he could do. Because there really wasn't much - after all, that stranger had apologized, and Zyron guessed he would probably appear kind of rude if he just walked up to that guy, poked his shoulder and asked him wether... no, maybe he could actually do that. He'd just have to find the right words.Somehow he got the feeling that he was going to regret this a lot."Hang on a second, Myka" he said, and poked the blue Matoran's shoulder.Off we go.
IC: Xerov (Inn, Le-Koro)I feel a tap on my shoulder, and turn around, to see the Le-Matoran. He touched me. He touched me. "Decided to voice your opinions rather than talking to yourself, then?"
IC: Zyron (Inn, Le-Koro)Zyron tilted his head a bit and smiled his best, widest and most innocent smile. I must be looking really stupid right now..."You guessed right, my friend", he replied, still smiling, trying to carefully choose his next words."I was just wondering why you are in such a hurry."
IC: Xerov (Inn, Le-Koro)I raise an eyebrow.Fact of the matter is, I've met a fair few nutcases over the past few days: Joske, Echelon, pretty much every other Makuta follower... but this guy is something else. "Want some help finding your straight-jacket, 'friend'?"At this point, I can't help but consider the possibility that he's trying to send me some kind of message. I look from him to Myka and back again. Were they...? Nah. Couldn't be. He was probably just a little protective. "As for why I'm in a hurry, let's just say that I have a promise to keep and a few others to leave behind me."
IC- Verak - Southeast corner of Pala-Koro"So because I'm obnoxious, ye think you have permission to try an' kill me, then? Well, that makes you a Makuta Follower. Although, ye aren't talking in that sort of stuck up, obnoxious tone most of them have got. Yer too... normal to worship Makuta. So- on yer own side then?" Verak asked with a tilt of a head as he spit out every though that came through his brain. Shinn was looking intimidating- his glowing wings and weapon, shining through the thick rain, blurred by the falling water. Verka wiped some off his mask, still making sure Shinn's silhouette wan't raisin that light rifle again.IC: Shinn"You're also one annoying little wipe."
IC: ShinnShinn frowned, his face darkening. "Shut up!" He said, "You and all your kind! If Makuta kills all of you, just better off for the world!"
IC- Verak - Southeast corner of Pala-Koro"Alright, brother, calm down." Verak said, still smiling, still squinting through the rain and the glowing winged vortixx. "Ye know that if Makuta killed 'all my kind' -Is that attractive rougues, toa, or livin' beings?- the world would have felt a terrible loss." Verak mockingly put his hand to his heart.
IC: Shinn"Trash."
IC: GennoI continually moved to ensure SPyder never got behind me, the two of us walking in a circle as if orbiting an invisible focal point. I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited...
IC- Verak - Southeast corner of Pala-Koro"Trash, huh? That seems a pretty general statement from a guy whose barely heard ten sentences come out from my perfectly shaped mouth." Verak said, inspecting the tips of his fingers. "Also- notice the one who's makin' all the smart, cuttin' statements here, brother. Nothin' ye've said has really stuck me as... well... what's the word... intelligent." Verak smiled condescendingly at the silhouette in the rain.
Ic: Kiron and SulkuaKiron dragged the bleeding Sulkua into a burned-out hut. He ripped some fabric from his pack and staunched some of the more open wounds."I just... need... some Ele...Elem...Elemental Energy..." Sulkua mumbled. His armour joints were all torn apart and his inside tissues were bleeding.Kiron absorbed the heat from a puddle of nearby water. He regained some Elemental Energy, and Sulkua absorbed the frozen puddle. Some of the wounds stopped bleeding, but some were still open.OOC: Am I right that EE somewhat corresponds to level of healing, or something like Nokama said in one of the earlier Bionicle Adventures books? And I will be offline until next Thursday whereabouts, so do not expect a reply if you interact with my two Toa until then. Happy playing.![]()
OOC: I doubt it. If you're cut but not tired, you're still cut. Unless you have a mask of healing, or someone else heals you.IC: Shinn"Well, maybe if you were a bit clever, you'd realize how stupid you are. And what you're doing to this world! Trust me, you won't be missed."
IC- Verak - Southeast corner of Pala-KoroYou won't be missed.Verak's smiled flickered for a second, like the image on an iStone, before recovering it's charm. The sad truth of the statement gave him pause for a quarter of a second, before he reminded himself that he didn't care. He didn't want his name to be remembered, he wanted to enjoy life. Have fun.So he laughed a bit, before looking right at the obscured eyes of his opponent. "I believe yer mistaken, brother. I don't work for the 'Island Liberation Squad', or believe in justice or anythin' stupid like that. I'm enjoyin' life. You and your silly morality, getting in the way of happiness." He waved his hand dismissively at the Vortixx, adding a bit of cocky, drunken swagger to his stance.
IC: Shinn"You find it fun to slaughter?"
IC- Verak - Southeast Corner of Pala Koro"No, it's more the making fun of you that pleases me."
IC: Shinn"Making fun of people just to get other people's attention is only going to make everyone look down on you," Shinn said, "But you probably are the lowest of the low anyways."
IC:Ankt ~Southeast Corner of Pala Koro
The Toa of Oil strode towards Verak and Shinn. "The lowest of the low? Don't talk badly about yourself, I'm sure you have many great qualities!" Ankt called out to Shinn, having gotten bored watching them do nothing but talk. "Like, for example, I'm sure you can cook a mean Mahi Burger with those wings." Ankt glanced at Verak. "Hope you don't mind, but I got bored just sitting there doing nothing."
IC: Zyron (Inn, Le-Koro)The Le-Matoran disregarded the question about the straight-jacket, but he couldn't help but wonder where that had come from. Maybe he'd overdone the smiling. Zyron decided that he should cut back on it a bit, and his facial expression immediately went from innocently happy to fairly neutral. So much for my social skills...I am absolutely not used to doing this anymore."Look, how about you just pay a bit more attention to what's going on and who is around you in the future? It might be useful." he added, resisting the urge to wink, attempting to sound helpful.IC: Xerov (Inn, Le-Koro)
IC: Xerov (Inn, Le-Koro)"I'm sorry, next time I'll just politely ask the person in front to move out of the way when they're holding up the queue," I spit.
IC: Zyron (Inn, Le-Koro)"Well that certainly sounds like a good idea" Zyron replied an nodded. Somehow it entertained him much more than it should but he knew that it was better not to show it, because he didn't know that matoran enough to know whether he could take a joke. Probably not. And the last thing Zyron needed was a fight of some sorts.
IC: Xerov (Inn, Le-Koro)Is he being sarcastic in response to my sarcasm, or does he think I'm serious? He seems pretty serious. I'm going to go with serious. "Ever heard of a little thing called sarcasm?"
IC: Zyron (Inn, Le-Koro)"No, never. Does it grow on trees?"Finally things were getting really interesting. Zyron hated to admit it, but this was fun.
IC: Xerov (Inn, Le-Koro)...You know, this guy is actually alright. "No, but I've seen a few with actual witty comebacks."
IC: Zyron (Inn, Le-Koro)"Really? How fascinating" If only. Zyron threw a quick glance at Myka, just to check whether she was okay - or still there, actually.
IC: Xerov (Inn, Le-Koro)"Ah, sarcasm. Original."IC: Myka (Inn, Le-Koro)Myka was indeed still present, looking from Xerov to Zyron and back again as the competition continued.
IC: Zyron (Inn, Le-Koro)"I'd rather call it a classic, you know" Zyron was relieved to see that Myka was still there and apparently not even that bored.
IC: Xerov (Inn, Le-Koro)"If jumping off a cliff was overused to the point where it isn't even funny, would you-- oh, wait. Nevermind. I guess we know the answer to that one already seeing as you're still here."
IC: Sinina, Le-KoroFor a split second, Sinina did nothing but continue to stare at Raxa, proving that even she was shocked by this statement. And then she began to laugh, tilting her head back as dignified, yet thoroughly amused waves of laughter shooking her body slightly."You really do know how to ruin something, don't you?" Sinina asked a few moments later, calm once more, though an amused smile on her lips. "I could never kill you now: There would be no fun it that."IC-Raxa:Raxa nodded. Just what he'd thought-the main two she'd want to go after were he and Hound. He uncrossed his arms, putting them back on the rail."Fair enough," he said, his voice nearly as dispassionate as Sinina's stare. "Kill me."
IC: Zyron (Inn, Le-Koro)"Not sure if jumping off cliffs ever was that funny", Zyron muttered. Some things were usually better not joked about.
IC: Xerov (Inn, Le-Koro)"If we don't joke about trauma, we can't run away from it forever."
IC: Zyron (Inn, Le-Koro)"Well then how about we confront it instead? Running takes far less courage"Somehow Zyron didn't really like the direction this was taking...
