"There was actually someone I wanted to interview about a story I'd heard going on earlier, but we have plenty of time for...whatever it is you want to do."I waved my Timestamp in front of the table, showing her my eleven days and winking again.-Teezy

And it was true, I'd seen what Onuzek could do to those who threatened his friends, I was glad I was one of them. For all the things that could and had gone wrong, meeting Onuzek wasn't one of them. "Let's go...catch you later Tank...Tuara...and others I don't care to bother naming..." I said, starting to walk off down the beach.

"Anyway, I've got a job for you, Mr. Tough Guy. I need you to spread the word that the Fowadi is hiring, okay?"IC: OnuzekThe gigantic Toa waved happily at the group of beings, before following after Skyra down the beach. "Onuzek is wondering what now," he said to the Toa of Air.

  • IC (Kelp)A hunched Toa walked down the streets of Ga-Koro. He walked slowly, with a heavy limp. His rusted, oversized scrap-metal armour creaked as he walked, his shabby greatcoat flopping a little with each step.He took a long swig from a bottle of rum he carried, and the seaweed around his head dangled wetly.Kelp looked out at the wide vista of the Endless Ocean. He noted a sleek ship, apparently in pursuit of something..."Hmm," he grunted.

  • IC: Skyra - Beach, Ga-Wahi -"I don't know, I was thinking about going to Le-koro...but Destiny needs to rest and recover from her injury so...I guess that will have to wait." We'd been walking for a good while, when we both noticed a hut nearby and several Toa in the distance, A Toa of Fire seemed to have a sword at his neck from a Toa of Ice. I sighed, this was typical...it was sad to say I saw this kind of thing everyday, so I walked up to them rather casually. "Well hello hello...what's all this then? I'd ask why you have a sword to this Toa of fire's neck but usually I just get shot at or someone tries to relieve me of one of my limbs." OOC: That would be Nit and Joske btw. :P

I'll catch up to you later.""If you say so," I shrugged plucking my half of the croissant from the plate and taking a bite off of it; my eyes rolled up into my head and I couldn't help but grin exuberantly as the treat practically melted inside of my mouth. I took another bite and grabbed my frappuchino as I scooted in my chair gracefully with one foot and bent down, kissing Nikarra's cheek."Don't run away from me now," I whispered into her ear before kissing her again and moving towards Nixie's hut. The grin never left my face as I finished off the croissant and began to chip away at my coffee. This took several minutes, and by the time I was down to the last third of the drink, I was at the astrologer's hut. Here goes.Knock knock knock!-Teezy

  • OOC: Because Mef has allowed us to kill his characters, and he won't be able to play him, I give you this:IC - Telric - Ga-KoroTelric stood, looking to Agni, towards Mef, and to Valria. He smiled with what looked to be a genuine happiness. "Oh, this has been so fun...hugs?" he maniacally suggested. At the look on their faces, he shook his head almost questioningly. He sighed melodramatically, throwing his arms out in a shrug. "The cure? Oh, Bula juice, regular Mukau milk, and any kind of IV fluid mixed up. Have a good time!"He jumped to his boat, looking around the rather nice watercraft. The shining smile he displayed showed his utter gratitude."See, Agni? We can all get what we want."He turned to the hull of the ship, about to move it forward when he stopped."Well, maybe not all of us."He turned back in a flash with a hook, likely used to catch large animals such as whales. This particular version had five smaller hooks sprouting out from the two largest ones. He hurled it forward, catching Mef from behind in the shoulder with one hook. Another, in a bloody mess he may or may not have intended, one hook caught him in eye. One yank of the hook sent him onto the boat, into Telric's hand. He'd adopted a much darker look, having lost his smile. In fact, he grown very solemn."Maybe, Agni...maybe in the end, only one of us can truly get what we desire."The half-blind Toa fumbled for his crossbow. Telric kicked it away from him. He grabbed the hook, twisting it. One hook tore through his ear, going straight through the cartilage. Telric wrenched the rope through the air, having the Toa hang by it. "Good game, kid."He slammed his head against the side of the boat several times, eventually bashing his skull in. He tossed the Toa into the water, the boat beginning to speed away.

  • Ic: Noxie was studying a star chart when she heard a knock at the door. She sighed a little at the distraction but moved to open the door as chipper as ever. "Yes," she said to the stranger outside. "How can I help you? I'm Nixie."****Anthyn moved through the ruins quickly, not finding anything new to her, contrasting Savina, who lingered in amazement at the gorgeous carvings and motifs at every angle. Anthyn was finding something different, though, something far more intriguing than carvings with words she already knew somehow. There: A pedestal, and on it an orb. She reached out and scooped the artifact up, and suddenly a white light fell over her."Now is not the time for illusions, Anthyn. Now is the time for revelations," a voice said to her."Alakhl adamai shipphartim eliku," she replied."There are others in the land, sinners who, despite not being like you in body, are very much like you in spirit. You must find them and work with them. In time they will find their place in our plan, and they will bow to your glory. Then the time will be right to move forward.""Elkauth phininas thambordin.""Until then, Angel..."The white light vanished. To Savina, all that occurred was a bright light from a hidden room and a thunderous noise, not at all like a voice. But to Anthyn, the orders were clear and distinct. She had to find her company. She left the room and found Savina. "We're moving. We have people to find."

  • IC (Kelp)Kelp lowered himself slowly into a small dinghy, and cast off the lines, starting the motor and setting course towards the ship. He recognised that ship...It was the Infernavika. The famous (and infamous) vessel, once captained by the Lesterin pirate Lohkar, now in the hands of the Skakdi Raknar. It was the Infernavika that had sunk the Firetooth, that had successfully tracked a Ghekula unit, that had kidnapped Turaga Onewa. And darned if Kelp wasn't going to get a closer look.

  • IC (Cael)Cael smiled at Rit's introduction and opened her mouth to reply with a greeting, but she was interrupted by a burst of light that suddenly shone out of Hahli's hut.The light wasn't harsh or even particularly bright, but it was there: predominantly white light shot through with red and gold. It shone for a few seconds, then disappeared as quickly as it had come, leaving Ga-Koro as sunny and peaceful as it had been moments before. The healer was startled, but her instincts remained: she needed to get in there, and see what had happened. Someone might be hurt. Joske had been in there when the blast of light had occured, and though his condition was stable, that could change with little effort. She reached out and tried the door handle, but it was locked. There were now noises coming from the hut: bangs and crashes and thumps, made menacing by the Toa of Water's imagination. Who was in there? Was Joske alright? Had Makuta taken some kind of revenge against the Matoran who defeated one of his servants? Then, just as Cael was preparing her will to draw a battering ram of water from the ocean and bash the hut open, the door was opened from the inside, revealing a Toa of Fire, who looked rather bemused. He leaned against the wall of the hut, and his expression changed to one of cocky confidence."Hello ladies," he said. The healer didn't return the Toa's greeting, instead, her eyes narrowed in suspicion. Where was Joske? What was this Toa doing in Hahli's hut, and had he been the cause of that flash of light? Rit was evidently as suspicious as she: it took less than a second for the Toa of Ice to point her razor-sharp sword at the Toa of Fire's jugular. Cael took the opportunity to peek into the hut, and she saw the Joske's bed was empty. What had this Toa done with Joske? The Toa of Water stepped back. She had no weapons, save for the water that surrounded and cradled the Koro. She could use it perhaps to blind or choke the Toa; she had little training in combat, so that would be her limit- the rest would be up to Rit. But as the healer mentally reached out to the water underneath the lily pad, she recognized something in the Toa of Fire's face. She had spent a considerable amount of time around Joske in the last few days, examining him and monitoring his condition. She realized at this moment that the Toa before her bore a remarkable resemblance to the Matoran, from the red and gold colours to the Kakama he wore. The Toa spoke then, his bravado now tinged with uneasiness. "Easy sister, I would prefer not to have a second near-death experience in the same week, let alone five minutes after experiencing the most epic moment of my life. I am also unarmed."He smiled charmingly, obviously trying not to be intiidated by the blade hovering an inch away form his throat.A second near-death experience? The most epic moment of his life? Adding all this evidence up as child's play, but the conclusion was hard to swallow. Could Joske have, somehow, become a Toa?Cael couldn't believe it. It was possible, technically, but incredibly improbable. She had never seen a Matoran transformed into a Toa; the only Toa Stones anyone ever heard of were in stories. And yet, here was a Toa standing before her, and empty bed behind him, bearing a remarkable resemblance to the Matoran who had occupied that bed.The Toa of Water lowered her guard, allowing herself to believe him, just for a moment. "Are- are you Joske?"

Savina didn't really like that idea so much, but she kept it too herself. "Where do we go to find these people?" She said as she followed Anthyn, to wherever it was they were traveling, Savina wished she knew.

You'd expect that a small dinghy, upon seeing the Infernavika, would make a run for it - this one didn't.The Toa of Iron jumped to the nearest disk launcher platform just in case and screamed down, hoping to be heard:"Lost, are we?"

I mumbled, before coughing and raising my voice. "So you're Nixie? I'm Dorian. I'm a private investigator of sorts, and I heard there was some kind of...ritual here a couple months ago. I wanted to see if you could tell me anything about it, because a friend of mine, Salvinn, was involved, and...well, I can't find him."I looked up to meet Nixie's gaze, my eyes full of earnest and a slight fear.IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Ga-Wahi)"Yo! • Kale Ironshaper- Darksea innIC: "Very well, First Mate sir!" Said Kale, kale up and giving an overly exaggerated salute. He finished his drink and levitated a couple of widgets to the bartender before heading out the door. Once outside he saw a flyer that he had missed the first time. It was one of the ones that Dekal had placed around to advertise about their ship.Turning, he headed towards the docks, he figured that if anyone wanted to join a ship then they would be wandering around there. On his way there , he saw a somewhat familiar figure talking to several other Toa on the beach. One of them was holding a sword to the neck of another whose posture radiated cockiness. Deciding to take a closer look. Kale moved forward. It was Skyra. Kale had not had much of a chance to talk to the Toa of Air during their hunt of the Infernivaka but they still knew who the other was.He moved close enough to hear the conversation between the four Toa, floating over the water by holding up the armor that covered him.

I said, stroking my chin in thought. Onuzek, the big lunk of a Toa was standing behind me, looking like he had no idea what was going on...cause he probably didn't. Though he was standing in just the right spot to block the sun from everyone's view. I added a nice breeze. Ah much better.

  • OOC: I hate those kind of death sequences.IC: (Valria)Before Valria dove into the water after Mef. She roared at the escaping criminal."Next time Telric. Next time I will rip the flesh from your bones. I will tear those eyes and I will do it slowly!" Before diving into the water after Mef. She saw his body sinking further and further into the water. Wrapping an arm around the lifeless Toa's chest she kicked towards the surface and then when she reached the water's surface she used her gravity powers to float to the ferry before dropping down. Even though the Toa was throughly soaked it was very visible that she crying. Not even looking up. She spoke to Agni."Find Kuyre a doctor. I'll...I'll take Mef...somewhere...somewhere...to a place that can give him a proper funeral...I...we should have never went to the Kumu Islets. You should have never found me, I should have just died traveling to Ta-Koro and then you would have had to help me and then he would have met me. And, he'd still be alive." The Toa of Gravity wailed, cradling the Toa of Earth. Wherever Valria seemed to be death followed close behind.

  • OOC: Seriously? Ninja'd now? When I have no time to edit everything again? IC:The Toa of fire reacted immediately. But not by attacking the leaving boat. Instead, he jumped over the side of the ferry. He had never been a big fan of water. It weakened his powers and he wasn't a terribly good swimmer, even though he had no fear of drowning. The next second, he was engulfed by the cold wet waters of Naho-Bay, as he dove for his long-time friend and ally. It didn't take him long to find Mef...all he had to do was to follow the trail of blood in the water. His friends eye stared lifeless back at him, but Agni reached out anyway, grabbing Mef's wrist. He was still warm. And yet there was no more life in him.Kicking hard, Agni pulled the body of his friend back to the surface. He struggled to keep them both afloat next to the boat, until the hands of the ferryman reached over the side. In a combined effort, Agni pushing and the Matoran pulling, they brought Mef back aboard. Agni followed, pulling himself over the side of the boat. The Toa of fire knelt by the side of his dead friend, feeling for some sign of a pulse, but it was hopeless. Hopeless and enraged, the Toa whirled around, his eyes finding the boat he himself had gotten for Telric. And then, the Toa froze.Agni was in shock. Completely shock, locking his body in place, wide-eyed and momentarily comfused. For once, Telric had been too fast, too unpredictable for him to intervene. The sudden outburst of violence by the evil Toa had caught both him and Valria off guard completely. All they had been able to do was to watch, to witness and to hear. And it had cost a dear friend his life. And he could only think how much more it possibly had cost Valria. And for the first time in a long time, Agni did not know how to react. What could he possibly do now? What could he say? Should he say anything at all? He didn't know. The Toa clenched his fists and relaxed them again, only to repeat it. Other then that, he stood perfectly still, glaring after Telric's ship with a rage in his eyes that he had not yet felt before. Not knowing what to do, not knowing the right thing to how to react at this moment, it made him mad. It was an emotional fire so furious, so unimaginably strong and hot that it was as if everything inside him was getting consumed, burned away until all that was left were ashes. And yet, to the outside, it left him cold, numb. Unresponsive to what he had just witnessed. It felt like ages until he was able to have a coherent thought again, though it could not have been more than a few minutes. Telrics boat was nothing more than a small dot in the distance now.The silence lasted. Until finally, the Toa of fire rew a long, deep breath, closing his eyes. When he opened them again, he had come to a decision. He turned to the ferryman. "Find the nearest post of the marines...tell them what happened, please get me the ingredients for the cure for Kuyre and tell them we will be ready as planned."OOC: Yeah, the action is not over yet.

It was unclear whether the Toa was unpractised with Gravity, or simply that the large and misshapen pack on his back weighed him down. Either way, his ascent was slow and unsteady. He dropped onto the deck, his scrapmetal armour clanging on impact."Name's Korris," he said, holding out a hand to Raknar. "But everyone calls me Kelp. I'm a sailor, and may I say I'm honoured to set me boots on such a great ship."The seaweed dangling from his wide-brimmed hat made the reason for his nickname obvious.

  • IC (Kelp)Kelp looked unconcerned. This sort of incident was common on pirate vessels."What happened to him, then?" he asked. "I can't see him givin' up this ship of his own free will..."

  • IC: (The Infernavika)Perkahn did not respond. He just spat overboard, turning on his heel and heading below deck. Could've argued more, but had no such desire to, considering what Doomie might do. Over his shoulder, he threw a rather quiet remark, as he opened the door to the stairway leading below:"The hunting grounds are on the beach, not in this bay of ours."Moments later, he found himself by the guns. Wasn't difficult to set them up, really, as the other crew members had already loaded a lot. They only needed to get into range and start firing.

  • IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Ga-Wahi)"I dunno," he said with a shrug as he leaned against the railing. "Next time you're wandering the alleys of Xa-Koro, you may bump into him, ask him how he's been. For now, I don't have time to concern myself with him."-Teezy

  • IC (Kelp)"Aye," agreed Kelp. "She's a fine ship, no mistake."He limped up the aftcastle steps to join Raknar."I was wonderin'," he said. "I seem to be out of work. Would you happen to have room for an old seadog like me?"

  • IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Ga-Wahi)"You kiddin'? This ship has enough room for a platoon of old seadogs," he replied, closing his eyes and smiling as a particularly soft breeze floated over the ship. "Welcome aboard, Kelp."-Teezy

  • OOC: Rit doesn't have a sword, it's a Naginata. It's essentially a spear mixed with a Katana.IC: RitWhile on the outside I was still managing to maintain my cold and distant facade, I was beginning to question things on the inside. Why would someone choose this Matoran, Cael said his name was Joske, why would someone choose that Chauvinistic Pig for a Toa. It made no sense, after all this wait for another Toa. They choose Joske. No wonder Makuta seemed to be winning. Mata-Nui appeared to have lost his marbles."I will lower my blade when you answer the question, are you Joske?" As I asked the question I noticed another being out of the corner of my eye, actually there were two beings. One a hulking purple brute, and the other a Le-Toa. Not once shift my gaze from the Ta-Toa, I questioned the newcomers. "And just who are you two?"

  • IC (Kelp)"My thanks, Cap'n Raknar," said Kelp, inclining his head. "Pleased to finally serve on the famed Inferavika."Behind his scratched Kaukau, Kelp's blue eyes appraised Raknar."And under such a fine Captain."He turned, and limped back down the stairs."So, orders?"
