BZPRPG: Ga-Wahi

IC: TarnokIt had been five minutes since Tarnok arrived in the village of water, and he had already let out a frustrated groan.In the twelve hours he had been gone, a fight erupted on the docks, and caused much damage. Likewise, a newly created Toa had gone on a mini-rampage.It was because of these facts, that the Ussalmatoran was especially alert. In his experience, violence tended to breed violence. Where one large fight broke out, others would inevitable follow.This suspicious state is why he stopped, and took another look at a large group of Toa. Groups of them were not uncommon, but groups exceeding three or four most certainly were.Five Toa. All gathered rather close to where that new Toa was yesterday. One Toa would be normal, even two or three... But not five. That much power, in one precise location.... I'll have to watch them.Those grouped around Merror could almost feel the piercing gaze directed toward them.IC: Jikal"I don't even know for sure if I'm right. But I'm pretty sure I am." Jikal just kept staring at his arm. "And Kearstrunn didn't say anything about stopping them."

IC (Oreius)Oreius laid down the bag of fruit and pastries on the small table. "Yeah, I guess so. I mean, the spear is standard Guard issue, so we all learned how to use those effectively, but they work better when you're fighting as a group. I learned how to use the swords for when nobody's got my back. They're faster, which is the only thing I've really got going for me; no Matoran can out-muscle a Rahi."As he said this, Oreius's mind drifted back to when he'd arm-wrestled an Akrainid -and won. Proof that strength wasn't everything.

Ic: "Though the cunning warriors know not to fight a rahi in the first place," Stannis said before putting the spear away. He didn't touch the swords. Looking outside, Stannis could see the public sundial; it read 8:30. "Let's have something to eat, but we have to go into the morning market again very soon. We'll be meeting a couple of the others in the team there," he said before taking a danish out of the bag.

IC, Aurax: Aurax sighed. He had wandered into the marketplace to see if some of the stores were open, and they were all closed! Should've expected this, he thought to himself. But who knew the Ga-Koronans were not night-owls? Aurax continued past the mostly-empty market and walked down to the docks to see if any fishermen were there who could help him. Aurax noticed a group of people standing around and talking excitedly amongst themselves. He walked over to a Matoran of Ice who was standing slightly away and was staring down at the water. "Excuse me, but would you mind telling me what's going on here?" he asked.OOC: That'd be Reordin. Note- this takes place during the time when Stannis was first talking to Oreius.

IC (Oreius)Oreius took out an orange and began to peel it, deciding to ignore Stannis' subtle jibe about "cunning warriors". He knew he wasn't exactly the smartest guy out there, but he would do whatever it took to defend his home, even if that meant taking on a Rahi one-on-one. His fingers unconsciously traced the scar on his Hau before returning to the orange."How many others are there?" he asked.

Ic: "At the moment, two others," Stannis said between bites of the pastry. "Still two more remain to be found and their names are Sulov and Reordin. The ones we have so far are Lepidran, a Le-Matoran, and Aurax, a Cy-Matoran. Both were members of my company before I disbanded it to dedicate myself to this new project."

IC: Reordin (Docks, Ga-Koro)"From the looks of things, coupled together with witness accounts, we got a Toa of Iron and some kind of winged Toa using these docks as their own little fighting ring. Toa destroyed the dock trying to make a getaway, and I have about two dozen witness accounts saying that he got smashed on the way down, but I don't see any semblance of a body here - at least, not one that belongs to a Toa - so I'm going to send for the Sanctum Guard liaison here in Ga-Koro and see if we can spread the word around the other Koro. Tell your sergeant--"Reordin's brief sitrep broke off as he turned to Aurax and gave him a brief once-over with his deep, examining stare."You're not with any Guard."-Teezy

IC (Oreius)Oreius took a bit of his orange, the juicy, sweet pulp filling his mouth. He chewed, then swallowed. "Do you know where they are? You seemed to find me easily enough."

Ic: "No, I don't, but I will wander to them like I did to you, I am sure," Stannis cleverly said. "Do you know either of them, by any chance?"

IC: RevorRevor dreamed. But what can you dream, if you have never sensed anything before in your life? Different, random emotions flashed before his mind while he slept in his canister, floating in the endless ocean. These emotions were so overwhelmingly strong, and sometimes so agonizing, that Revor was mentally scarred for life. Revors' canister washed ashore on the beach of Ga-Wahi, and Revor awoke. Usually, Toa would forget their dreams from within their canister, but Revor remembered. Because he remembered, he remeined mentally scarred, and showed little to no emotions. He slowly stood to his feet, observing the beach around him. He then looked down and saw a three-pronged spear. He went to pick it up, and as he did, he felt the cool metalic texture of it.IronOOC: open for interaction

OOC: Argh, I hate timezones. Now Weta will have to be the late one.IC (Weta): "Here I am" Weta said breathlessly as he ran up to the rest of the group. "Sorry I'm late. I heard you saying something about transport, but don't worry about me. If we're going anywhere, I'll just fly". He quickly activated his mahiki and shapeshifted into a large eagle, before reverting back to a toa. "So, bring me up to speed. Where are we headed?"

IC (Oreius)Oreius shook his head. "No, I don't recognize either of those names." He took the last bite of his orange, then picked up a pastry. "I've spent a few weeks living here in Ga-Koro, though. If they're here, I can ask around and try to find out."

IC, Perkahn:(Ga-Koro Docks)Perkahn gave a friendly nod to the crewmembers approaching him, and slightly bowed his head in affirmation."We've found this, as you can see. After asking around, we figured out the story was simple. Our target, Dorian whatshisface, fought an extremely impressive battle with some sort of psychopath winged Toa here at Ga-Koro. Ga-Koronans say he died as this wreck happened right on his head. One detail. There's no body. They've collected all the corpses from the water and none fit the description of a Toa of Iron with a Hau."The Toa of Iron scratched his chin. "He's alive. But we're gonna get him. And I think I know how."

IC: Havon - Hospital, Ga-koro -Havon looked at the nurse. "The only thing I know is that Miha has something called 'Iris' inside her that's making her do crazy things."

IC:Ga-Matoran Nurse"Crazy things you say?" The Ga-Matoran nurse gave Havon and the rest of the Hau Karda a strange look. "Would stabbing herself in the arm multiple times count as 'crazy' for her?"

Ic: I would appreciate that," Stannis said with a nod. "We'd better move now to meet the other two. I set things up so that we can search all day and reconvene at the arranged time and place every day. The arranged time was nine-o'clock in the marketplace. From there we'll split up and continue the search for the others -- I'll want the town searched thoroughly to be sure of everything."

IC: Havon - Hospital, Ga-koro -"Whattttttt?!" Havon exclaimed. "She was stabbing herself!?" Havon took a moment to collect himself. "Well yeah, that would count. Plus she also tried to kill me...kinda why I'm here in the first place..."

IC (Dekuna): "Miha put you in here!?" Dekuna blirted out. "This Iris thing must be really serious, but it explains why she would be with the Marines. We should go and see if there's anything we cand do" He hadn't forgotten about the mission after Xxeth, but this seemed more important right now. You have to look after your friends before you can think about your enemies.

IC (Oreius)Oreius nodded and stood to his feet. He cleaned up the remnants of their breakfast and threw them away, then the two Matoran exited the room, which Oreius locked behind them with a key. Stannis and he walked out of the inn, and into the bright Ga-Koran day. It was only midmorning, and yet the air was growing warm. It was going to be a hot day, not the Oreius noticed much. Being a Ta-Matoran, he was mostly immune to warm temperatures. To him, it was another beautiful day.The public sundial read 8:50 as the two Matoran entered the marketplace. The square was busy with activity as villagers bought and sold food and drink and other items, though no fish was being sold yet: most fishermen left just before sunrise, and didn't return until the afternoon. Regardless, the market was still full of conversation and bartering and the exchange of goods.

IC: Havon - Hospital, Ga-koro -Havon nodded. "Let's go find Miha then..." Havon stood up, his chest ached terribly, but he figured he was well enough to get around, he looked at the nurse. "Where is she being held now?"

IC:Ga-Matoran Nurse"The Marines brought her here, since some other things were going on with her body. She's right across the hall." The Nurse said, pointing at the correct door. "And be careful when you're in there, something is wrong with her body, and too many changes in her environment could possibly make her condition worse." And with that the Nurse hurried away, off to go help some other patient.

IC: Havon - Hospital, Ga-koro -Havon nodded, and quickly exited the room, going right across the hall and entering the room, ignoring the guards at the door completely.

IC: Tawara (Briani's Hut)Tawara remained silent.OOC: Looks like I posted something about Kearrstrun which had nothing to do with what was currently going on. I have no idea why.

ICSo I'm not as adept with my new body as I thought I was. Well that just sucks.I could move fine. I could run, jump, swim, exercise, all normal things without another thought. Therefore I was under assumption that doing things on a smaller scale would be fine as well. WRONG!I don't know which better described my current predicament: being a fat butterfinger or trying to operate with boxing gloves. My attempt to be quiet while in search of food was trumped and otherwise derailed by my lack of fine motor skills. It started harmless enough; the bumping into things, unable to grasp small handles or knobs. Then it became the dropping of silverware, the knocking over of cups and plates, the inability to retain grip on manageable objects. I sounded like a freaking Kikanalo in here! Small wonder on-one was charging in, demanding what was going on... and that's when I dropped the pot."Makutaspawn." I cursed quietly and forcefully. This was not going well.I gave up looking for food, instead trying to clean up the small mess I had made in an otherwise immaculate residence. That almost killed me as well as I practically slipped on some water. Water? Yes, this may be Ga-Koro but why would there be a... oh. That would be me as well. Mata-Nui this was-"Good morning, Joske," I straightened up and whirled around, surprised and caught off guard. So I had woken her up. Still, she had a genuine if not bemused smile on her face as she held out a white robe. "Here. Ga-Koro can be very chilly in the morning, especially after going swimming. I don't want you catching cold."So here I was. I was standing in front of Cael dripping wet, without armor, a mess around me, a face reminiscent of a child caught sticking his hand in a sweets jar, she holding out to me a white linen robe that patients wore... and not at all flustered. Not in the slightest. It was as if she expected to see this. That just added to my confusion.Well first, I was NOT going to wear that; does she not know how stupid those things look? Nobody likes to wear them. Second, a little piece of my mind was gnawing at the back of my head to do something. I HAD to do SOMETHING, not just stand there like an-Finally my mind caught up with me, and along with it the real Joske that had been on vacation for the last few days.Grabbing the robe I quickly made a pair of folds before wrapping it around my waist in a fairly ornate fashion. For once my fingers did not fail me. Glancing down I nodded in approval before looking up at Cael and striking a pose before her."Thank you for handing me the sarong; and I must say, I do look so-right."I made the so sound more like sa for emphasis. I paused a moment to let the pun sink in before moving on, crossing my arms and finding that smile I used so often. "Sorry about the mess... was looking for something to eat. Haven't found any food, but I DID find bandages large enough to wrap the koro twice, more sharp and pointy objects than I care to admit, and enough sedatives to knock a Kikanalo out cold. What, you run a full hospital out of your house or something?"

IC (Merror)"We're heading to Le-Koro, to seek out an old acquaintance of mine," said Merror. "Hmm...perhaps if I send a message-hawk I'll be able to contact her, so hopefully he'll know we're coming so we can find her."Fortunately, they were standing only a few feet from the message-hawk poles. Merror took a small piece of parchment, scribbled a note on it, and handed it to a bird."Elianne, Le-Koro," he said to it. It squawked in response, and shot up into the sky, flying in the direction of Le-Wahi.IC (Lohkar)"Right," Lohkar replied. "What's the plan, Perka - wait, 'ave I said this before?"

IC: Skyra - Ga-koro -As Merror finished sending the message I clasped my hands together. "Well, now that we are all here, the ferry is that way I believe." I said, pointing toward the correct direction. I was rather happy to be heading back to Le-koro, as I had been meaning to do so for quite a while, but something always seemed to come up before I'd been able to.

IC, Perkahn:(Ga-Koro Docks)Perkahn rubbed his hands in anticipation. This reminded him of his good old days back in the war. When every moment was his moment, his turn to shine or to disaster. This was his day, and his it'd remain."The plan's pretty simple. Over that one day while you guys were gone, me, Grochi and Arzanyos have done some investigating. Dorian's spent some time in the Floating Cafe, a shiny little example of an establishment here. Funny place, lot of foreign cuisine, like croissants. A lot with powdered sugar, too. The point is, Dorian's been there, and he's had, according to something the owners told me when I gave them enough widgets, a girl by him. Funny looking maid, they say. Either way, she was apparently resting, so the three of us didn't want to interrupt. But now... I think we ought to go ask her a few questions. Be careful, and hide your weapons. Love's a tricky mistress, and we don't want her to think we'd do anything to harm her prettyboy."

IC: Mimira - Docks, Ga-koro -Mimira hadn't been following what the adults were saying at all, she was too distracted looking at all the damage done by the fight between Dorian and Anthyn. "So...we're gonna go after the bad guys who wrecked this place?"

IC, Perkahn:(Ga-Koro Docks)Perkahn nodded, and then scratched his chin."Pretty much. One question, though. Any idea where your brother, Xxeth is?"

IC: Xxeth - Docks, Ga-koro -"Right here..." Xxeth suddenly appeared, zooming in with his mask of speed, apparently he'd been nearby, trying not to be seen. He did after all have a pretty infamous reputation, if the wrong people recognized him it would cause trouble. "What you need?" He asked without much emotion or care.

IC Yasurek- with Infernavika crew at docks:Yasurek shuffled about nervously a bit, the sizable collection of spears stored in the container on his back clanking against each other. "I will guard the back while you are talking to the lady so as not to arouse suspicion," he decided. "Because I have no idea where to put all these spears."

IC, Perkahn:(Ga-Koro Docks)Perkahn, for a second, on impulse was going to suggest a halfassed scheme on how to rely in this upcoming conversation on Xxeth's looks and charisma, but after a good, serious, long thought about those two of Xxeth's qualities he decided against it."Nothing. Making sure you're there. Been awfully quiet, and lived through the change in leadership rather quietly. That aside... Lohkar, my plan sound good?"

IC (Cael)The Toa of Water chuckled at Joske's antics; he was so different from the angry, confused Toa of Fire he'd been yesterday. From incinerating fishing tools to cracking puns. She was right: all he'd needed was some rest. And now, food. She could do that.With a wave of her hand, Cael swept the water off the floor, which arced through the air to land in the sink. She then bent down and began picking up some of the items spilled on the floor, stacking them on the table. A pot, some utensils, plates, cups, as well as a package of bandages and some other medical instruments."Sorry about the mess... was looking for something to eat. Haven't found any food, but I DID find bandages large enough to wrap the koro twice, more sharp and pointy objects than I care to admit, and enough sedatives to knock a Kikanalo out cold. What, you run a full hospital out of your house or something?"Cael straightened up, a pot in her hand, smiling. "No, I just have a few beds in the back. But I like to be prepared."She turned to the sink and rinsed the pot out with water. "Some people might call it obsessive..." She turned around and set the pot back in the cupboard it had come from. "But I prefer prepared." She laughed. "Makes me sound less crazy.""Now, you said you were looking for something to eat?"Cael walked over to a trapdoor that Joske hadn't noticed before. She opened it, revealing a sort of icebox that was immersed in the water below the hut. The Toa of Water pulled out a few pieces of fruit and handed them to Joske, who looked rather amazed."Most huts in Ga-Koro have one of these," Cael explained. "The water keeps it cold, which keeps the food fresh."As Joske ate, the healer pulled out several other fruits, as well as a jug of milk, which she placed on the table. Pulling a long, sharp knife out of a drawer, she began to slice the fruit into pieces, which she arranged on a plate. Pulling glasses from the cupboard, silverware from the drawer, and a loaf of bread from the cooler, in no time at all Cael had laid out breakfast on the table."There we go," she said. "Fruit, bread, and milk. I don't know when you last ate, but I didn't see you eat anything yesterday, so try to take it easy."

IC: Lasinia"I have an idea." said Lasinia cheerfully. "One of you can try flirt with her."

IC: TarnokTarnok watched in silence as Merror sent his message. His eyes took in every detail, and noting their apparent combat preferences. All of this he did automatically, fueled by years of instinct, while he questioned his own suspicions.Maybe you're overreacting. I mean, they could be harmless. Maybe they're just a group of old friends. It could be a reunion.I mean, just because they're Toa doesn't make them a threat. Even to him, the voice in his head sounded pathetic. But then again.....There have been terrorist attacks on Ko-Koro, and Po-Koro.All three involved one or more Toa..... And they all caused massive amounts of damage. The entire Po-Koro Guard headquarters was wiped out, and then the market in a later attack. Ko-Koro has suffered extreme amounts of damage.....And even when they're gathered for good, bad things happen. Those who work for the dark one can't allow threats to them to continue. The Aggressors were created to combat the crew of the Infernavika, but they utterly decimated the Ta-Koro docks in the process. And then there was Hiemalis. A single Ko-Toa who defeated us, took Kol, and leveled a hospital......No. They have to be watched. Good or bad, violence and strife will follow them. And for the good of the Matoran, it must be contained.Tarnok steered Helios into a position to better monitor Merror's group.

IC (Revor):Revor looked around cautiously, and started walking away from the beach. He didn't like the water. After all, water rusts iron. He walked away from the beach, leaving his canister behind.OOC: Revor to Ta-wahi

IC: [Naona]Naona was silent for a moment. "The Ta-Koronan Kohlii Player ... a Toa ... why couldn't it have been a Po-Koronan one?"

IC: Mimira - Docks, Ga-koro -"What does 'flirt' mean?" Mimira asked, cocking her head like a lost puppy. She also failed to pronounce the word 'flirt' correctly.

IC (Merror)"Quite right," said Merror. They headed off towards the docks. When they got there, however, they found that an area of the docks had been destroyed, with several beings standing around, apparently conducting some sort of investigation.He strode over."What happened here?" he asked.IC (Lohkar)Lohkar suddenly froze. A Toa had come over, one he recognised. He relaxed a little, remembering that under his Arthron, the Toa of Fire wouldn't recognise him. Hopefully.

IC: Skyra - Docks, Ga-Koro -I looked at the group of pirates with mild surprise, actually I wasn't really that surprised at all, considering I'd just been on their ship not too long ago. Didn't recognized the blue one though, and Raknar seemed to be missing, other than that, everyone seemed to be accounted for. I briefly looked at the timer on my forearm, somehow I'd completely forgotten to look at it, I had about 5 days and 22 hours left...I had noticed during my fight with Dorian I'd actually gained a few minutes, but not much. At least I knew there was a way to refill it so I didn't die. I looked at Mimira and smiled, I was still not really liking the fact that she'd decided to become a pirate but that was her decision to make. I was sure she'd grow out of her childish fascination of pirates eventually. "You all behaving yourselves?" I asked sternly. Xxeth had staying in the back of the group, clearly avoiding me. Which was fine, cause I really didn't care to talk to him either.
