IC: Incommodo"Yeah, he'll probably change his mind when he finds out we were right about his assassination." Incommodo said. "I hope he has time to apologise before they kill him, though. It would be rather rude if he didn't."

IC: [Arkrak]"Well there are two of us and two of them," Arkrak pointed out. "It's not like they have others hiding nearby."There was silence for several seconds."Well buggrit."

IC: Incommodo"Yeah. Wait, I thought you were supposed to alert the authorities?" Incommodo suddenly realised that the plan had... well... not gone to plan.

IC: [Arkrak]"We were out-manoeuvred," said Arkrak. "Very devious of them."

IC: Incommodo"Actually, I think Pirok was asleep due to different timezones, and Hubert chose to ignore the plan due to doubting its likeliness of working you may be right." Incommodo commented.

OOC: We all live in different timezones. I'm GMT+10 plus DST, so it'd be hard to pull off plans like this, and besides, they weren't zerg-rushing the office, and they had already gotten into it at the top of the page.IC: [Arkrak]"So what now?" asked the Toa of Sonics.

IC: Incommodo"Well, I suppose we should wait for the others to post prepare to fight and not post again until someone else does!" Incommodo answered.

IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak smiled, pulling out his dao."Got it."He slowly turned to face his opponents, twirling around his sabre."Come at me bro," he said, gesturing to them.

IC (Skraatuth): "They're fools!" Skraatuth muttered to the others as they watched the goings on, "This'll just make Chronn more angry for sure."

OOC: OK, this kind of bugs me. Does anyone here think that a professional assassin would, having broken into the dwelling of his target, just STAND THERE AND DO NOTHING? While his planned decoy outside was buying him time?And while Incommodo and Arkrak have this scintillating conversation, would he STILL be standing there?I don't think so.IC (Zadron)Zadron hadn't wasted any time.The minute he was inside, he could see that Chronn was alerted to his presence. So, naturally, he sent a bolt of searing red energy at the detective's back.Then, suddenly, Chronn's bumbling employees entered, one by teleporting, the other by apparently being thrown through the door. Not looking to see whether his attack had killed Chronn, Zadron whirled around, both Radius Blades out.Even as Arkrak asked them to 'come at him', Zadron was already parrying his dao aside and thrusting for his heartlight. And Zadron was fast.

OOC: Chronn's heartlight or Arkrak's? I'm guessing Arkrak's here, but I'll edit if you meant Chronn's.IC: IncommodoIncommodo saw Zadron taking out the Radius Blades, and quickly magnetised Zadron and Arkrak so that Zadron would be pushed away from him."Don't kill my friend. Please." Incommodo said to Zadron. "It'll leave a mess, and I won't want to clean it."

But anyway, let's just say Inc was a bit too late.IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak, upon seeing the weapon aiming at his heart, knew that he would not be able to dodge. It was too fast, meaning that he would probably die. However, he, like nearly all lifeforms, did not want to die, so decided to do something slightly less drastic to survive. He winced in pain as he thrust his arm out in front of his chest, letting the blade dig into the arm, blocking it."That," he winced as fluids leaked out from his arm. "Hurt."The Toa of Sonics had severely underestimated his opponent, who he now realised to be of a much higher tier than him, who only had minor combat experience. Yet he still fought, swinging his dao at the other being, whose sword he was forcibly pushing into his arm, ignoring the pain so he could disable one of the Vortixx's weapons.

Inc is never late. And I said he reacted BEFORE Zadron even thrusted the blade at Arkrak's heartlight. I will be stubborn, and ignore that. I hope you people will too.IC: IncommodoIncommodo took out one of his blades, and threw it at Zadron."Catch." He magnetised the tip so that it would go directly into Zadron.

OOC: I will assume both reactions were simultaneous.IC (Zadron)Zadron's blade sank into Arkrak's arm, but just as the Toa winced in pain, Zadron found himself repelled from Arkrak, his blade yanked out of the Toa's arm."Catch," said the Toa of Magnetism, throwing a magnetised dagger at him. Zadron's hand snapped up in an instant, catching the dagger by its handle. All that reflex training paid off, once again."Catch this," he replied, firing a laser bolt at Incommodo. Meanwhile, he threw the magnetised dagger at Arkrak. As Arkrak was magnetised to the same polarity as he was, the dagger was attracted to him, too. The momentum of Zadron's throw was enough to overcome the pull towards his body, and send it at Arkrak's.OOC: Yay Science!

OOC: Curse you, physics! :PIC: IncommodoThat Brakas...Lasers travel as fast as light. Incommodo would use that to his advantage. Light was used to see. He had a Kualsi. He teleported to Arkrak, with his arm held out to catch the blade."Now, that's just cheating." Incommodo was unsure if he was referring to himself or Zadron with this; He would leave that for the others to decide.

OOC: I love science! But Inc has now reversed the polarity of the neutron flow, so Arkrak's alive.IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak blinked as Incommodo flashed into existence in front of him, catching the dagger that had been thrown at him. He hadn't really expected that, for he was pretty sure his colleague was several metres away before."You know," he said weakly, wincing at the fluids leaking out of his right arm. "I really don't need you to save me all the time."

IC: Incommodo"Yes you do." Incommodo said, not turning around. "You're just too stubborn to admit it."

IC: [Arkrak]"Nah," he said offhandedly. "You just feel the urge to save me for some reason."He thrusted his hand at Zadron, firing a ball of concentrated sound at the Vortixx.

IC: Incommodo"Allow me." Incommodo said, magnetising Zadron's armour and body to different polarities, so as to crush him.

"Yes, neither have I," he replies.Especially after I lost my memory..."Anyway, as to which tunnel we'll take is beyond me, but I have a plan as how to find it," Jild adds. "We'll go to Onu-Koro and prepare for a good amount of walking then spend the remainder of the day praying. I believe that Makuta will show us the way."-Mef Man

OOC: You guys... I really wish you would read what I have in Chronn's profile about his building. The house has three rooms. The first is the room you are fighting in. Chronn is in the next room, which has a door between it and the one you are all fighting in.And a little extra information. Though not in his profile, I have mentioned that his chair faces toward the room they are fighting in, though he sometimes turns it. Since he is working on carving a tablet, the tablet would be on his desk, meaning he is facing it, and and by connection, the door.So I'm afraid I am going to have to ignore Zadron's attack... Sorry about that.But Chronn's building is also very dark, and Zadron is highly stealthy. I myself think he could have been hidden in the room.And Pirok, if Arkrak hadn't been smashed though the door, their would be no way to teleport inside.IC: ChronnThere was a lot of noise coming from the next room, but I didn't really care. As long as my employee's didn't break anything, it would be fine. I'd just make then pay any damages, I would take it out of their wages, but they didn't get any. They really should have said something before joining, but no. They didn't get paid.IC: NexHe was no Toa, but he could still fight, and wasn't an easy being to defeat. And as Incommodo was trying to crush Zadron, Nex was using his weakened powers of metal. He was using it in an attempt to crush Incommodo's throat with his arm armor, not as easy task."I don't know him, but if he's fighting the two of you, he is my ally."It was funny, the two had attacked Zadron for no reason.

OOC: Apologies, TDC. I'll take note of it from now on.IC (Zadron)Incommodo evaded the energy bolt, which instead continued in its path to hit a painting on the wall, creating a sizzling hole in the middle, with tongues of flame licking the dry paper and paint.Zadron was thrown backwards by the sound blast, and crashed into the wall of the hut. Then, he felt his armour begin to crush in on itself. He gave a combination of a laugh and a cough."You think you're a Toa of Magnetism," he said, gritting his teeth. "You're nothing compared to Echelon."Clutching his chest, he fired several energy bolts at Arkrak.

OOC: Can I just ask exactly what made Incommodo attack Zadron? They've never met before, and Zadron could simply be a friend of Chronn's for all they know. There really wasn't any reason for either of them to think he was a murderer.IC (Skraatuth): Skraatuth continued to watch the action from afar. This was all a terrible mess, they hadn't taken Nex at all.

Gahla'm looks around the large table at the rest of her team mates before standing up."A toast!" she exclaims, holding her glass up high for her clan to see. "To our good fortune and for returning Dev'ar back alive," she adds. The Skakdi of Water didn't say "in one piece" because he had lost several pieces; mainly his eye.Dev'ar (even in a bad mood) couldn't help but smile at his leader's toast. He stands up as well and raises his glass."Here, here," he says, chuckling. The pain around his eye still hurt, though, so he tried not to move too much nor too fast. Looking toward the Skakdi of Fire at the table, he says,"Come on, raise your glass with the rest of us, brother."OOC: Starting this clan, and that's you, TX.-Mef Man

IC: OlsarkOlsark was passed out on the table, mainly from exhaustion due to lack of sleep. He stirred at the sound of people toasting to Dev'ar and someone telling him to do so as well. He lifted his head sluggishly and did as he was told: grab a glass (an empty one at that) and raised it lazily. He eyed Dev'ar with very tired eyes and noticed that he had an eye patch. A very noticeable change since the last time he saw him."What in karz's name happened to you?"

"This, brothers and sisters," starts the Skakdi while walking toward Dev'ar. "This is what happens when you give it your all in battle. When all you feel is the need for the victory; when you forget about yourself and focus on the greater good: the entire clan. This is why we are toasting to Dev'ar." She raises her glass again, eyeing Olsark to tell him to do the same.Dev'ar smiles triumphantly at his leader's remarks.Maybe losing my eye wasn't all that bad...-Mef Man

IC: OlsarkUpon hearing his clan leader's words, it dawned on him that Dev'ar had done an honorable deed for their clan. Honorable deeds should be repaid with respect. He tried to clear his head of any exhaustion there was and put on a bit of a smile, erasing most of the tired look on his face and raised his glass into the air. "You've done well, Toa. I may have underestimated your kind."

"I think we all have, brother," she says to the Skakdi. "But, Dev'ar (like the rest of our Toa brothers and sisters) are proving to be valuable members in our family. It's an honor to have you all in the superior clan." She clanks her glass against the raised glasses at the center of the table before taking a nice, long sip of her wine."And a pleasure to be with you all," adds the Toa of Gravity, smiling before taking a sip of his ale. He looks toward the Skakdi of Fire and adds,"I have underestimated your kind as well." Looking toward the Skakdi of Water, he puts in,"I know now that they are also sweet and loving (like any other being is) with their friends. But, in this case, family."He's taking the bait, the Brakas."Thank you," she replies, simply, smiling to the Toa. Turning to the others, Gahla'm says,"Okay; let's finish up here and prepare for the next raiding trip. It's going to be a long day tomorrow, but we deserve the rest today. But, if I see any one of you slacking off today, it will be met with extreme force by our enemy. I want 110 percent whether you're fighting for the clan or relaxing on a day off."-Mef Man

OOC: READ THE POSTS! Incommodo attacked Zadron because Zadron attacked Arkrak. *Facepalm*And, TDC, one of Nex's 'employees' made a hole in the door in order to teleport in themselves.IC: IncommodoIncommodo noticed Nex's attack, and magnetised him to the door which was lying on the ground."Please don't irritate me; I'm trying to think here!"He began to concentrate more on crushing Zadron, in order to increase the amount of pain he'd be going through."Who's this Echelon, then?"

OOC: As I recall, Pirok, Arkrak came at Zadron with a weapon :PIC (Zadron)Zadron smiled through the pain."A client," he said simply, before firing another energy bolt at the Toa.Meanwhile, behind Incommodo, the fire eating at the painting burned through the string holding it to the wall. It fell off, and onto one of the nearby chairs. The flames began to eat at the wood of the chair too, and soon the flames began to roar as they engulfed the chair.

OOC: Cheater. You read Incommodo's profile, didn't you? (And, Arkrak took out his weapon)IC: IncommodoIncommodo heard a crackling sound behind him, and froze. He didn't move, he didn't do anything; It was almost as if his body was there, but his mind wasn't. The energy bolt him, and he was shocked out of the trance.

IC: Revan:"Sure, Jild," Revan replied as the underground village was almost in sight. "There she is, one of the most lawless Koro other than Xa of course," Revan said before walking into the Koro.

IC: Olsark"Don't worry about me. I'm always giving my all, especially against our enemies." Olsark said.

"My kind of town," replies Jild as they walk into the Koro. "See if you can find a place to stay; I'll grab us something to eat before we begin our prayers.""That's why you're our brother," says the being to the Skakdi of Water. She places a hand on Olsark's shoulder which causes Dev'ar to give the Skakdi a jealous look, but immediatly goes back to his normal smile. "Well, brother, we're going to need our all when we attack the convoy of ships coming this way tomorrow."-Mef Man

IC: Olsark"Indeed. You've now got me and probably most of the clan curious as to what you can do. I look forward to battling together." Olsark replied, ignoring the quick look of jealousy that Dev'ar shot at him. He rather felt sorry for him.He really has no idea, does he? Gahla'm's probably using him as a tool...but those are just my thoughts.

"So do I, brother," says the Toa of Water to the being. "Well, I'm going back to my hut to prepare for the coming battle; you all can stay out here and relax," she says to her less than a score of brothers and sisters. The Skakdi walks away from the banquet table and into her hut.Come on, Dev'ar. Take the bait..."I'll join you," says the Toa, smiling. He follows the Skakdi into her hut and closes the door behind them. -Mef Man

IC: IncommodoIncommodo turned."Fire." Incommodo said. "The room... is on fire." He was forcing himself to take slow, deep breaths, so that he wouldn't faint due to a lack of oxygen.

IC: OlsarkFool...Olsark eyed Dev'ar as he followed after Gahla'm like her little lapdog. Deep down inside, Olsark knew that she was using the Toa of ice, he could feel it. Dev'ar was too nice for Gahla'm, too nice for the clan they were in, making him easy to manipulate. Surprisingly, he felt pity for the little fool. He put his glass to his mouth, expecting liquid to run into his mouth but all he got was a mouth full of air.

IC: DelakWhile Zadron was busy fending off the two stupid detectives, Delak was making his move. Unfortunately there was a door between him and the next room, however that was a problem easily remedied, all he had to do was use his power over magnetism to open it, no doubt Chronn would blame it on Inc. Once the door was open, Delak still hidden from view teleported in, behind Chronn, silently unsheathing his sword, he raised it up and in a fraction of a second brought it crashing down towards Chronn's heartlight.

OOC: I wouldn't call it cheating Zadron doesn't know about Incommodo's pyrophobia; and all I did was extrapolate the consequences of him avoiding Zadron's energy bolt.IC (Zadron)Zadron suddenly found himself released from the crushing magnetism. It seemed this Toa had a problem with fire...Smiling darkly, he quickly went through the door Delak had so helpfully opened to find himself face-to-face with Chronn, just as his colleague went in for the kill.Suddenly, two throwing daggers were in Zadron's hands, and less than a second later, were whistling through the air at Chronn's chest.
