BZPRPG: Kumu Islets

IC-Grochi:"Of course, captain," Grochi said, putting an emphasis on his last word. He waved his hand, a small shield of dark green plasma covering the both of them. The ice bolts hitting it either bounced off or melted completely-nothing hit them. He waved again, and a blob of plasma disconnected from his little cell and flew at the Toa of Ice, the heat melting his newly formed icicles as it narrowly missed him.Grochi cursed, and formed a bubble of Plasma around the Toa of Ice too, hopefully holding him in place. It was large enough the Toa of Ice could still move around, but he couldn't fire out of it. Grochi turned back to Gunner."Now that he's taken care of, for the moment," Grochi said, "Do you have anything you'd like to add to what I said?"

IC:IcarinBut the Toa of Ice didn't need to fire out of the sphere to attack, as he proved when the two Toa's feet started to freeze. And while that happened, the bubble of Plasma slowly started to freeze.OOC:Assuming that Toa of Ice can freeze even Plasma, as Kopaka could freeze fire with a snap of his fingers.

OOC: NKBB! Nice to see you again!IC-Grochi:Grochi snorted in anger, cracking the ice at his feet with the spike on his cane. He ran and jumped, using his mask to carry him to the other Toa, who he promptly punched in the gut before returning to the ground with the other Toa coming down too. He pulled out the ornate hilt to a sword.As the Toa of Ice wondered what it was fire, Grochi smiled-a plasma blade sprung up and out of the hilt, fueled by Grochi's own elemental energy. Grochi also pulled out his cane, the small metal ferrel having been lengthened into a plasma-spear. "Now," Grochi asked, "Would you like to dance?" He lithely stepped to the side, teleporting to the other side of the Toa using his Kualsi and jabbing with his cane.

OOC:Long time no see Kal!IC:IcarinThe Toa's only reaction was to fly out of the way of the jab, before crashing down, his ice scythe gaining extra momentum. If Grochi dodged, the ship would be harmed, if he didn't, he would be harmed. If he tried to block the attack with his plasma weapons, both Icarin and Grochi would be hurt. It was a loose loose situation.OOC:Note that the Ice Scythe is not made out of ice. It just looks like it is.

OOC: You can't freeze plasma.IC:A body slowly floated onto the shores of the Kumu Islets. One first glance, one would believe the being was dead, but then he, for it was rather masculine in appearance, groaned."What just happened?" muttered Fragarach as he got up.

OOC: This is bionicle, Hubert, it's a lot different from normal reality. And you actually can-ions are still atoms, and you can still sap the energy from them. Sap enough away, and they freeze. Look at Sodium Chloride for example-table salt. It's in an ionic bond, and you can make plasma with it (you can do that with anything, actually,) and yet it still exists in a solid form most commonly. You can still solidify it if you melt it, too.IC-Grochi:Grochi smiled, twisting to the side and cutting the ice scythe off at the end of it's haft, the blade falling harmlessly to the deck as the toa of ice uselessly slammed a wooden staff into the ship. "Now," Grochi said, tossing the Toa of Ice his Wakizashi, "Let us do something fun." He tossed down his cane, and began to bob and weave back and forth, teleporting as he did so, to hopefully confuse the Toa of Ice. He then appeared right in front of his enemy, delivering a well aimed passado towards the Toa's chest.OOC: A passado is the basic stabbing move in fencing, and that is the italian term for it. Let's have fun with this.

OOC:Excuse me? Did you just slice my reenforced iron staff in half? What? Umm... Okay...@HubertYou can't freeze fire either, but Kopaka did.IC:Icarin"..." The Toa of Ice caught the Wakizashi with one hand. As Grochi bobbed and weaved, Icarin stood still, focusing on Grochi's eyes, and nothing more. As soon as the Passado was attempted, the Toa of Ice ducked down, sweeping his leg in an attempt to knock Grochi onto the ground.

OOC: Have you ever watched Star Wars? Plasma cuts things rather well. Proven in real life as well. And not in half, only at the end of the haft. Basically I cut it an inch from where the blade starts.IC-Grochi:Grochi smiled-this Toa knew how to fight. He teleported himself up for a second, looking the Toa straight in the eyes as he dodged the kick, and lunged. He barely missed, but he made a small heat-distortion on the side of the Toa's mask. He teleported behind the toa, kicking him weakly in the back, and then rolled back.He stood, his blade held up. He did a slight salute, and assumed an 'en guarde' position. "Your move," he said simply.

OOC:I know that. It's the 'don't break other character's stuff' rule that I was more worried about.IC:IcarinGrochi would soon wish he hadn't made physical contact. The leg with which he had kicked, was covered in ice. "..." The Toa of Ice looked at Grochi, before saluting also. He quickly created a mini snowstorm around Grochi's face, which would make Grochi cold, and more importantly, obscure his vision. Kualsi user's couldn't teleport out of the way if they couldn't see. Which was a fact that Icarin made known, when he activated his mask, barreling towards the frail Toa in an attempt to knock all the air out of him.

OOC: You can freeze it back together. Or join the crew and Grochi will weld it back together. IC-Grochi:Grochi frowned at the mini snowstorm, and formed a slight plasma bubble around him, melting his leg free and melting the snow too. He smiled as he noticed the Toa running at him, and he ducked, allowing the toa to roll over his shoulder and land face first.He stepped back, looking over at the Toa. "I must say, my good man," he said, "That is terrible form. I meant this to be purely a duel, not one of those drunken brawls everybody else takes part in." He flourished his blade, slicing at the Toa of Ice in an elaborate and deceptive pattern.

OOC:I have a better idea, why don't you join my crew? (It's not offline.) IC:IcarinExcept Icarin didn't fall on his face, as he was flying and all... Anyways, Icarin turned around and said, "..." before rocketing into the sky to dodge the attacks.

IC-Grochi:Grochi frowned and shook his head at the Toa's aerial display. "Tut, tut," he said, "That is terrible, terrible form. What, do you think this old man might beat you?" He flourished his blade again, and stood his ground. "Whenever you decide to come down and continue the duel," he said, his british accent coming through, "I'd say that it is your turn to begin the pass."He watched the Toa flying through the air, with the Wakizashi. A terrible weapon for fencing...until he noticed that there was a perfectly conditioned pair of rapiers in a small shop to the side. He grabbed them, putting up his hilt and tossing one of the rapiers to the Toa in the air. "Now," he said, "Now that we are properly armed...shall we continue?"

IC:IcarinHe grabbed the weapon out of the air. I'm starting to think that this guy is trying to throw me so many weapons so that I become too heavy to fly... Icarin thought, landing on the ground and entering the basic fencing stance. "..."OOC:Translation: Whenever you're ready.

IC-Grochi:Grochi made a quick step towards his opponent, his rapier held high. He made an extension of his arm, twirling the end of the blade in a slight circle to hopefully obtain a flick of his point to the Toa of Ice's eyes.

IC:IcarinThe Toa of Ice simply stepped back, keeping his stance ready, on guard for any attacks he might have to block.

IC-Grochi:"Simple, but effective, to evade a strike," Grochi said, frowning slightly. "However, it would have been better if you attempted a parry and riposte..but no matter." He then stepped forward, catching his opponent's blade in his guard and forcing it to the side. He then swung his blade back quickly, making a quick stab to enemy's chest.

IC:IcarinBut Grochi's blade was quickly stopped by Icarin's Wakizashi, which blocked the stab. Icarin quickly attempted to disarm with the Wakizashi, and attack with his other rapier.

IC: Gunner - Xa-Koro DocksGunner whistled from behind Icarin, "Hey fly-boy, forget me?"Broadsword in hand, he sneered at the attacker, before charging, slashing at his exposed flank.OOC: It's been too long BioBeast!-Void

OOC:Yes it has EttV. Yes it has. Long time no see.IC:IcarinThe attack was stopped by a wall of ice. Icarin started to sweat, maybe he should've gotten backup before taking on these scum.

IC-Grochi:Grochi deflected the rapier, following with a slight cut to his enemy's mask as he ducked under the Wakizashi. He looked over as Gunner was stopped by a wall. "Terrible, terrible form," he said, using a high parry to his enemy's latest attack. "Really, two weapons at once...that is not the gentlemanly way to fight." He stepped out of the way from a quick slash from the Wakizashi, and then jumped back in with a small slash at his enemy's wrist.

OOC:So, how many minor auto hits does it take to make one rulebreaking autohit? IC:IcarinThe slash was blocked by the Wakizashi, knocking Grochi's weapon and arm to the side, leaving his middle open. Keeping the Wakizashi ready to block any attacks that might come from the rapier, Icarin stabbed with his rapier, managing to nick Grochi's mask, before stepping back, away from Grochi, and reverting back into en garde position.

OOC: I figure somewhere around 13, really. IC-Grochi:Grochi smiled, this duel was beginning to get interesting. "Very good," he said, ignoring the slight stinging sensation from his mask. "Now, however," Grochi said, sweeping his weapon up and down on his enemy's left hand, "Away with the wakizashi." The hand reflexively opened, dropping the Wakizashi into the sea. Grochi watched it slightly regretfully, it was a good blade...but no matter, blades can be replaced."Now that we can fight like gentleman," Grochi said, coming into an en garde stance himself. "It is your turn to start the bout." He held his blade up, point in the middle of third of his body. He could execute a middle, low or high parry with ease, coming into a parry and riposte as he did so.

IC:IcarinIcarin stared at Grochi, and the two started to move in a circle. Then, Icarin quickly preformed an Appel, stomping his foot on the ground loudly to startle Grochi, before preforming a Balestra, which was followed with a lunge. Quickly following the lunge was a Thrust.OOC:I'm going to assume you know what these terms mean. If not, I can give you an explanation after each post.

IC-Grochi:Grochi stepped back quickly to get out of the way of his enemies jump, ducking aside from the lunge. When he came back to position, he performed a quinte to block the thrust, turning it into a bind, forcing his opponent's blade to the side. He then made a quick Flèche to pass his opponent, then doubled back to perform a quick riposte to his opponent.

OOC:I'm going to take that as a yes. You do know what I mean.IC:IcarinThe Toa of Ice quickly beat parried, knocking his opponent's blade to the side and Counter-Riposted, attempting to lunge at Grochi.

OOC: Eeyup.IC-Grochi:Grochi ducked out of the way performing an In Quartata, and performed a Croisé, putting his opponent's blade down to the low line near the ground. He stepped back, blade held high in an En Garde position, and then lowered it. He stepped forward, extending his hand to his opponent.

IC:IcarinThe Toa of Ice stayed in Engarde position, not lowering his weapon.

IC-Grochi:"What on bloody earth is wrong with you?" Grochi asked, surprised. "That's terrible manners. You always shake hands at the end of a bout, and I'm ending this!" He extended his hand farther forwards, expecting the handshake now.

IC:IcarinThe Toa reluctantly extended his other hand, and shook hands with Grochi, on guard for any hostile actions.

IC-Grochi:"That's better," Grochi snapped, sheathing his rapier and tossing the Toa of ice a scabbard to use. "Now, why exactly did you attack us?" Grochi asked. "After all, as far as I know I've done nothing to you, and neither have the crew. What justification did you have?"

IC:IcarinThe Toa of Ice did not answer. He just 'hmph-ed' and turned away.

IC-Grochi:Frowning, Grochi teleported to where he was in front of the Toa of Ice. "Don't ignore me either," he growled, "That's also terrible manners. Now, I'll ask again, what was your justification for attacking us?"

IC:IcarinHe was a Toa of Ice. They didn't talk much. He turned and started towards the ship, completely ignoring Grochi.

OOC: These guys (Gunner, Grochi, and Icarin) are on the Infernavika, right? If so...IC: Raknar"Oi!" he yelled out to Grochi and Icarin, coming out of his cabin. "What in Karz do y' think you're doin'?"Just what I need. This was supposed to be an easy mutiny..."Do y'all want Lohkar t' come back?"-Teezy

OOC: Actually they're on the docks right in front of the ship.IC: Gunner - Xa-Koro DocksGunner leaped, landing in front of Icarin, "Really, so moody. No wonder you frost-types have such a bad rep."Hearing the First Mate hollering, the Toa rolled his eyes, turning to Raknar, "Frankly, I kind of do. With him here, you might actually shut up!"-Void

IC: Raknar (Docks, Xa-Koro)"If I'm bothering you, I could do you a favor and cut out your eardrums," he said with a gruesome grin. Skakdi definitely weren't an...attractive race, that much was for sure."Now, are we leaving or not?"-Teezy

IC: JLJL arrived at the Kumu Islets and shook himself like a beast to get dry from swimming.OOC: JL open for interaction.

IC:Icarin"Not if I can help it." The Toa of Ice said, freezing Raknar's feet to the ground. Even as the ice was forming, Icarin was forming three ice lances, which just happened to be shooting at Raknar.

IC: Raknar (Docks, Xa-Koro)"Or we could just do that," said the Skakdi of Stone, whipping out his battleaxe/morningstar and twirling it around his hand expertly, crushing the three ice lances headed his way into crystal. Swinging it downwards, he destroyed the ice on his feet. The edge of the blades spun centimeters away from the top of his feet."Now, let's try this again. Are we leaving or not?"-Teezy

IC:Icarin"I'm not sure you heard me." Icarin said, forming more lances. "You aren't leaving without going through me!" He flung the lances, but this time they were aimed at the ship.
