OOC: Just to clear this up: he thinks he's in a different dimension. He thinks he's somewhere else.IC - Bllietes - CrucibleBllietes looked upon the being who approached him with disdain. As he bowed with a smile, the Vortixx leveled his weapon to his opponent's chest. His finger rested on the trigger, and he was not afraid to pull it."The only way this can be settled," he said, fury in his eyes, "Is to end this madness!" He unleashed a volley of bullets on the fighters and guards. The Vortixx was obviously quite confused as he charged the designated leader of the Crucible, firing off a round at him and those around him.
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"What was in there, anyway? We Juturnas were supposed to be able to drink anything..."-Teezy
IC: Havon - Hospital, Ga-koro -"Zealokan's right, we're a team. If any of us gets into trouble, then as a team we help them out." Havon said reassuringly.
IC (Merror)The ferry soon began to cross into the waters around Le-Wahi."Look," said Merror to his friends. "There are the jungles..."OOC: Merror and co to Le-Wahi
IC: Liara"No, I'm the one that can drink anything." Liara quipped. "Including, but not limited to, Salamanders, Mt. Ihus, Flaming Tahus, and some varieties of deadly poisons."Despite her joke, she was watching Perkahn out of the corner of her eye. She knew a little more about the battle, and his exile, than she let on. Not much, but some. And her time as both a spy and an interrogator had long taught her to know when things weren't being shared. There was more to the story, but unlike in those days, she wouldn't press the matter.
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)Tillian stared at Liara as though she were made of gold."Could you...teach me your ways?"-Teezy
IC: Gunner - InfernavikaI paused for a moment, before shrugging, "Eh, I'm not doing anything right now..."Reaching into my coat pocket, I brought out a deck of cards, worn and dirty from years of use.IC: Rynekk Simul - Ga-Koro"Sounds like a real friendly guy," Rynekk muttered, "Can't wait to meet him..."With that said, the Toa of Stone followed Kale.-Void
IC: Liara"Not if you want to go through your life with a functional liver."
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"Was that...a challenge?"Ignoring the almost-audible screams of protest from Liara's liver, Tillian grinned and found himself staring dreamily at Liara for a second before snapping out of it."I mean, uh...I think I'll be fine."-Teezy
IC: Liara"Was that a challenge?" Liara said, amused. "Because if so, I have a reputation to uphold."
IC: Population high. Distract-decoy.Sulov sheathed his saperka felt the tavern roof. It was covered in irregular shake, worn slightly by Ga-Wahi weather. The crude nature of the wooden pieces often allowed for easy detachment. He was in luck-one nearby was barely attached to the wood beneath it. He tore it free from place. The matoran stood up. Drawing his right hand back and flicking his wrist, he sent the tile flying at the distracted vortixx' head. Then Sulov drew his saperka and held both his blades against his chest as he waited for acknowledgement.HIs eyes flitted to his escape route across the roof. He would lead this vortixx out of the Crucible and right into his home territory.
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)For the first time in his life, Tillian realized that the word liver had 'live' in it for a reason. He visibly paled a bit and rubbed his side subconsciously."I...no, of course not."-Teezy
IC: LiaraLiara rolled her eyes. "Suddenly a bit worried about the state of our organs, are we?" She shrugged. "At this point, I could care less. I'm probably going to be dead before three hundred anyway, and not from liver failure."
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"Wha? No, you can't die before three hundred! Imagine all the cool stuff that you'd miss out on!" said Tillian, his voice trembling slightly as it raised upwards, like a kid who had just been denied a toy at a store. "I'm gonna give your liver a talking to if it's seriously afflicting you this much, I can't let you go anywhere..."In his sudden panic, the colonel seemed to have forgotten that livers, contrary to popular belief, could not be simply ordered about like Guardsmen.-Teezy
IC: Liara"Til, relax." Her voice cut through his panic, and cut off his rant. An amused smile played at the edges of her lips, and she crossed her arms. "It was a joke. Mostly. Besides, I'm more likely to go from a blade to the neck than a busted liver."
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"No. No, no, no, no, no," pouted Tillian as he moved over and hugged Liara tightly; his neck and arms blocked her throat, as if he knew a blade was in fact hovering over them this very second, and he was ready to lose his limbs or head before it hit her. "I'm not letting you go anywhere."-Teezy
IC: Liara"Til, I'm fine. If I lasted years as Mata Nui's Most Wanted, I think I can survive some time in the quietest part of Ga-Koro." Not to self; do not under any circumstances tell old stories about work. Any circumstances. "I'm right here. I'm fine."
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"Just...stay away from blades."-Teezy
IC: Liara"..... I suppose you want me to hand over the weapons I have hidden in these pajamas, don't you?"
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"...I don't see any hidden weapons."-Teezy
IC: Liara"That's why they're called 'hidden weapons', now isn't it?"
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)A long sigh."Alright. Every weapon. Out with them now, nothing's going to happen to you with me around."-Teezy
IC: LiaraLiara sighed. "Fine. But I hate being unarmed."The first thing she did was remove a small knife from a hidden pocket in the chest of her pajamas. Next was a coil of wire from the waistband of her pants, then a knife from a thigh sheath, then a couple of tranquilizers from a second chest pocket. "Happy now?"
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"Is that everything?"-Teezy
IC: Emotia - Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi -Emotia rubbed her eyes as she got up from her bed, she wasn't sure how long she'd been asleep, but she had definately overslept. She stumbled down the stairs in a bit of a daze. "Hey guys..." She said hazily. Then she stopped when she saw Perkahn, recognizing him from the Infernavika, her eyes got a little wider. "What the karz is he doing here!?"
IC: Liara"......" After a long pause, Liara produced several more darts, and a dagger from another thigh sheath.
IC: The DOGHafja almost shouted for glee into the evening air as the gate rose before him, its monolithic structure transporting from one side a rough world to another of civilization. A small fist pump was all the rough world got, however. Here we go... Sucking in another breathe, Hafja limped up and passed through the gate, the marine's beginning their evening routine of locking the place down. His good eye monitored their activity with the precision of a sleeping yo-yo lazily drifting through the air. The lily-pad street squished slightly beneath his feet as he strolled from the entrance towards the main market, a place of large hustle and bustle even as the moon rose. Only when the sun was fully gone would the shop keepers empty their stores and pull the mats across their windows. It was summer. He had plenty of time.Night progressed, finding Hafja alone on the docks. The fishers were out at sea, barely visible by the silver light drifting from the heavens. Although his feet were lapped by the water, Hafja's mind was a torrent of precision. I have six days to locate an Inky and get news on this time stamp. I also have to get one of the them to talk... This could get interesting. He pushed himself up again from sitting, letting the kohlii stick act as a cane for a while longer. He nodded, and sleep beckoned. Inns are closed right now, so I'll just go to a tea house or something and waste a few hours. Maybe my wasting will produce some gold. His hands slammed the table, big fists of fiery fury. In his drunkedness, the skakdi of flame reached forward for the kohlii player next to him, a big sloppy grin across his face. "Say that again you little punk."Hafja rolled his good eye and slapped the skakdi's hand away. A feat of strength given his size. "I said ye should be payin' fer' yer' own drinks." The skakdi popped a shoulder muscle, moved his neck slightly. Just cause I don't got no coin don't mean I need to listen to this pipsqueak berate me. He tensed slightly in the dawn air of the open tea shop, then pounced. Well, more like flopped forwards over the barstool. Hafja fell off his seat, scurrying off towards a more open area on his back; a fish on dry land. The lumbering smile came forwards again after righting himself, placing his taloned foot on Hafja's chest. "Gotcha' now, punk." He crowed in a drunken slur. His face was flushed with rage, and the tell-tale mashing of too many incoherent thoughts. Hafja growled as his ribcage was pressured, his right hand attempting to stave off the inevitable squashing. Wriggling beneath the might of the skakdi, Hafja threw his shoulders upwards, creating a slight opening as the different vector forces collided, then shifted on his side, quickly dispelling the tension and rolling out from underneath the vice grip. He scrambled across the bamboo floor for a brief moment, good eye darting across the empty chairs for an advantage. Nothing. The Skakdi lumbered forwards: twos steps and he was upon the matoran once more in a game of cat and sometimes-mouse. Suddenly, the skakdi stopped. He stared at the empty floor, inspecting its detail, the subtle patterns in the laid wood. It was a good floor, something a carpenter like him would take pride in buil--*whonk*Hafja stood on the bar, proud of his throwing skills as the iron tea pot he'd been drinking from smacked square into the back of the skakdi's skull, causing a "lights out time" for the fiery drunk. With a hop, he landed on a barstool, letting it over balance and gracefully carry him to the floor with a clunk. Picking up his kohlii staff, Ishi stepped from the open shop, waving a hand to the owner who had by now come out from behind the bar, and saying; "Thank you for the tea. It was most... Epic."
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"Liaraaa..."-Teezy
IC:Two Days AgoWhat Krayzikk didn't know when he buried Riaril, was that he was being watched.Watched by a dog-like Rahi who had taken a keen interest in what was going on, no sooner did he leave, then the creature decided to dig her up. It was soon to be disappointed, however. It took one sniff, and left, leaving the grave open to the air.....IC: Liara"....." A knife hidden just under the leg of her pajamas. "That really is it. These aren't the best for concealed weapons."
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"See? Was that so hard?"-Teezy
IC: Liara"Yes."
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"i'm only doing this because I could have stabbed myself carrying you to the coffee pot this morning. It's an occupational hazard. It's dangerous."-Teezy
IC: Liara"My life is full of occupational hazards. And do you really think I would have let those stab you?"
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"Accidents happen. Look at me."-Teezy
IC: LiaraLiara crossed her arms in annoyance, though her eyes were constantly flitting about the room, searching for threats. She spoted Emotia, and her eyes widened a fraction of an inch.
IC: Emotia - Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi -Emotia didn't take her eyes off the former pirate. She did glace at all the weapons Liara was placing on the table briefly and thought about taking one of the tranqs and jamming it into Perkahn's neck.
IC, Perkahn:(Casa Juturna)Perkahn shot an irritated look at Tillian's wife. For all he noticed, she'd be better off screaming that at Tillian and Liara rather than him. Sitting through that was a really, really awkward moment of his life."Will you all please relax? How many cliche moments of 'Why is he here?' must I go through until you all get into your heads that if I'm in somebody's home, it's probably with their permission? Here's the short version. I quit the crew. I'm working towards getting an amnesty for a crime that I, well, frankly, did not do, and everyone with some sense in their heads believes me when I say that. Not to mention, even if I were still in the crew, I don't think that should matter to you because it so happens I was at the wedding here a couple of days ago. In fact, I crashlanded into your backyard then, so I'm pretty sure you were supposed to be aware. Now please, can you stop looking at that dart so intently?"Perkahn's chest heaved with a very, very long sigh.
IC: Emotia - Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi -Emotia relaxed a bit, though she was admittedly a bit tense, not so much because of Perkahn, but mostly because of what had happened about a day or so ago. Her mark had flared up like never before, and now she had a timer on her forearm that was ticking down. Of course, it was rather easy for her to feed her mark to gain more time, but it had disturbed her nevertheless. The fact that she would die if the timer managed to reach to zero was still haunting her. She sat down at the table, still looking out of it. "I'm sorry..."
IC: Tillian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)Tillian's head jerked towards Emotia's arm and his eyes widened; the Toa of Gravity moved forward and sat down, examining the Timestamp and closing his eyes before sighing heavily."Is this...'cause of the Mark?"-Teezy
IC: Liara"That looks suspiciously like a timer. Is it?" Liara asked, looking at Emotia's arm. "And if so, to what?"
