  • IC, Perkahn:(Ga-Koro Inn)Perkahn grinned in as malicious a manner as he could in all the usual semi-kindness of his heart manage. A brief thought later, the grin disappeared as his expression reverted to a thoughtful, critical, analytical one. He raised a hand, silencing Gunner."Let me guess, Gunner. Dorian was on the ship. Lohkar let him and that Narcara girl go. Best part is... Dorian knows more than is good for me about me... right? And you're here to, either of your own will or of Lohkar's, inform us of the situation?"One thought later, he motioned towards Airu."Also, just a heads up, you don't need any code talk when around her. She's on our side."

  • IC: Dehkaz"Sounds good," the Toa of Magnetism said, shrugging. "I don't believe we're doing anything else." Dehkaz was beginning to like the "Mark Bearers" almost as much as pirates... And he hated pirates.IC: DekalThe Toa of Sonics suddenly thought of something, and looked up at both Naona and Dehkaz with unnaturally large eyes. "Could we take the Fowadi? Please..."Dekal's reasoning went something like this: if the Fowadi was taken, it would mean he would have to come, and that would get him away from this smelly Inn.

IC: Billetes (Forest, Ga-Wahi)The Vortixx cursed, unable to maneuver away from both Sulov's attacks, and had his leg cut into before he could move away. Blood now firmly circulating in the water, Billetes and Sulov circled each other like wolves, ready to rend and tear at each other for dominance, and finally the madman moved forward in a tackle, aiming to knock the Onu-Matoran down; predicting the use of the saperka and prosthetic against him, Billetes grabbed for the Onu-Matoran's elbows, aiming to pin him to the ground in a crucifix pose before finishing the job.-Teezy
IC: Unarmed lunge. Finish.Sulov took a few steps back. His torso swiveled a little to the right in an almost preemptive dodging movement, his saperka held up behind his head in preparation to parry. He had escaped the vortixx' charge. But the lunge showed no signs of stopping. In spite of the tendons torn and muscle cleaved in one leg, the madman wouldn't stop halfway to his target. The move back could only stall for a second.Sulov's fingers shifted to rest on the far third of his spade's grip with lightning speed, pointing it forwards. His eyes stared into the oncoming vortixx. But a second was all he needed to step into the perfect saperka-throwing stance. Its most extreme use and the one likely to be least expected. He swiveled left, straightened his arm, and sent his spade flying into the abdomen of his enemy. Then he punched for the chest.

  • IC: Billetes (Forest, Ga-Wahi)URK!The force, coupled with the space hit to the abdomen, acted as a perfect one-two punch, felling Billetes with unparalleled force as the Vortixx slammed into the ground, borderline comatose and unable to fight. Sulov examined the Vortixx briefly, but there was no mistaking it: the madman was down.-Teezy

  • IC: Dorian (Beach, Ga-Wahi)Needless to say, Nikki wasn't feeling the swim; she seemed to think that I had come too slow, even though I was in the Ko-Koro ghettos for twelve hours before practically crawling over to Ga-Wahi to save her, the ungrateful little...whatever. The subtle introspection I'd been treading in, the moment I'd dreamed of where I could finally get it off my chest that yeah, I might sort of maybe just like you as more than a get rich quick tool, had fluttered by my overly romantic heart like an idealistic hummingbird replaced by an old crow of bitterness and resentment for leaving her in the first place.Nikarra went ahead and rented a room at an inn for the two of us while I did my thing, and after going and buying a new, less tattered shirt in the Koro, along with a porkpie hat - which, for the record, I adore - I began to take a walk down the beach of Ga-Koro itself and hit the Wahi, where eventually I found just the Casa I was looking for. Making my way inn was easy enough; all I had to do was knock once or twice and then open the door. Someone had already unlocked it, and before I could even ask myself who, I saw Reaver sitting in the foyer; her eyes darted up towards me, and she opened her mouth to call out, but I grinned cutely at her and lifted a finger to my lips as I took a peek at her timer."Need a boost?" I asked her softly, walking in and sitting across from her, mimicking her cross-legged, meditative stance.-Teezy

  • OOC: You wanted him, here he is! Thanks for not posting too much in the meantime, I was able to catch up relatively quickly, as far as Cael, Joske etc. are concerned.IC:The Ga-Matoran behind the reception desk paused in her work as Cael, who was not unknown to the Marines and Joske, who seemed to be in the typical 'Toa of fire' mode turned away, taking the suggested seats. In the meantime, she looked back over her shoulder, to another Ga-Matoran, faithfully copying another tablet, probably an incident-report, in clean writing from a sheet of barely legible parchment. When she asked her if she knew where the other Toa of fire was, her colleague shook her head, but offered to go and seek out the Ta-Koro Guard liason in his office. If anybody was likely to know, he was.The receptionist nodded and the second Ga-Matoran got up, quickly crossing the few corridors, until she found the Ta-Matoran just where she expected him to be: Buried under a mountain of tablets. Or rather, sitting in the middle of stacks of them, alphabetically sorted and ready to get shipped to Ta-Koro to be archived. The liasons reports covered all Ga-Koro incidents involving either the guard or residents of the village of fire; Jaller wanted to keep a close eye on everything going on during the forced absence of the Turaga from their respective Koro. They shortly exchanged greetings, before she asked the Matoran where Agni could be found. To her disappointment, he said that he did not know the Ta-Toa's whereabouts, even though he had asked and received accommodation from the Marines for himself and his two Toa-friends, who were still busy preparing the funeral of a fourth member of their group."To be honest, I can imagine the lad wanting to have some time alone these days. I've lost brothers in combat. And you don't get used to that."The Ga-Matoran did not quite know what to say. She was rather young and shy and not an actual marine, even though she would have liked nothing more than to have that honor. But she felt like she could not really understand the sacrifices these warrior-women and men made, while she was mere working for them as a secretary. She quietly thanked the Ta-Matoran for the information and excused herself, before the awkwardness got too much. She made her way back to the receptionists desk, slower this time, trying to think of the best way how to word her apology to Toa Joske, since he had been kept waiting for several minutes now.But as it turned out, she did not need an apology after all. Just as she stepped back into the larger room behind the entrance of the headquarter-building, the front-door was opened and Toa Agni entered. Joske and Cael turned their heads simultaneously at the sudden noise of the opening door, in the relative quiet of the room, since the day was still young.Agni smiled slightly as he looked around and noticed the two Toa sitting and waiting by the wall. Joske could see that the older Toa's armor was as damp as his own from his fall. But Agni had not fallen. The water on his armor was like a thin sheet of droplets, like the ones settling on leaves of grass in the fog of dawn. Knowing the fire within himself, the new Toa briefly wondered how Agni maintained the temperature to allow water to settle on him without evaporating, but the other Toa forestalled the unspoekn question."I was by the beach, meditating." Agni said, calmly. "I expected to find you here after finding Cael's home empty on my way back." A small, amused grin played across his face. "And I see you've found your armor, Joske."

  • IC: (Tarcvor/Inn, Ga-Koro)Being rejected from Merror's Toa team hadn't fared well with Tarc. Feeling left out and generally depressed, he rented a room at a local inn. The walls, being paticularly thin, allowed him to hear what was happening in the other room quite clearly. And thus, he heard Perkahn and Grochi's conversations about a figure named 'Dorian'. Apparently, this being was pretty dangerous. To the young Toa, this seemed like a chance to make something of himself, to get out into the world. A chance to help the Matoran and become the Toa-hero he'd dreamed of becoming. But how would he introduce himself? Certainly, it would be...awkward. So decided to enter the conversation politely and quietly. So he went on to the door and knocked.

  • IC: (Valria)The weight of Mef's body in my arms felt so heavy, I could feel the sharp pain in my wrist, the injury I had earlier was still there. I could get it bandaged and put splints in after the funeral. Besides I deserved that pain, if only it could hurt more. I had been always bringing this down on myself. If I didn't try to stop Telric, if I didn't chain him, instead of killing him, Mef would still be alive. So I would carry this weight like I had to. Like I was supposed to. As the crowds moved out of the way to afford me room I should have thanked them or at least nodded but my mouth felt like it was glued shut and my head was locked in one position. I wanted to cry, I wanted to slump to the ground. I wanted to just lay down and die, cause I knew the truth as much I carried about Kuyre then, I was in love with Mef, or something close to that and I had gotten him killed. I wanted to cry so desperately but I couldn't, as if I cried to much and I was out of tears. The only thing I felt was that constant pang of guilt and resigned to my fate. I was never going to have happiness and I was never going to have peace of mind. Neither was anyone that was close to me. Which was why I needed to leave. I need to keep myself away from them.I made my way to a rather large hut, basically a funeral home of sorts. The receptionist was a young Ga-matoran girl. She had me place his body in another group and had me washed my hands. It took me about three hours to fill out the paperwork with her."So his name is Mef, right? Does he have any next of kin?" She asked."I'm sorry, I don't know." It had occurred to me that in that moment, I never go to know the noble Toa of Earth. That I didn't know his family, if he had one. That I didn't know his favorite food, that I didn't know the things even a friend would know about their best friend, no less someone they were in love with. I didn't know a darn thing about Mef other than his time with me, and he was so good, so noble and in an instant all of that was gone. All because of some stupid, weak Ba-Toa girl had crossed paths with him. So many times I should have died, and I didn't. I could have died so early on, and it would have been so costly. Mef would still be here. He was dead because of Mef."It's okay...ma'am. In Ga-Koro we honor the dead by placing them on a rowboat that acts as a funeral pyre. Would you prefer that to a traditional burial?" She asked.OOC: Viking funeral for Mef (the character) or traditional burial, tough choice. I'm partial to the viking funeral, but traditional burial fits with Onu-Koro and Mef's element.

  • IC: Target down. Injuries: Dented saperka and bruised thigh.Sulov took his blades and swiped them in the air for cleaning, sheathing them shortly. He drew the shawl from the vortixx gently and placed it over his own shoulders. Following the motion, he took the holstered pistol and its ammunition and placed it within his coat. If left, whoever found the madman would fight over the loot with others, and that was excepting the possibility of the vortixx waking. He would entrust himself with this technology. He looked down at the body with a touch of sadness. A certain pain burned in his mind. And a quick thought for the delusioned crusader's sake didn't help. Combat disgusted him. He could kill rahi all right...When they wore infected masks, removing kanohi was only a temporary solution and they would simply return to being servants of the dark one in due time. Rahi were animals. They were alive and he loved them for it, but they were without sapience. Thus, the pain he felt from killing was much more minimal. But sapient beings fighting each other pained Sulov. He had seen many people throughout his short life. Some were upper-class, some lower-; some were native, some immigrant; some cruel to him and others kind. But they all had thought and unique humanity--all were capable of some good. To harm one was to harm a human, and to kill was to remove a person from the world. To engage in physical conflict with another was his last resort because it was capable of such destruction.War is karzhani. He stood after that moment of preparation, coat flapping forlornly in the wind. The vortixx' wounds had to be bandaged, but he was lacking in both material and time. The matoran could hear a group of people approaching from the direction of the village. Whether they were Marines or merely warriors, they would know that the criminal was under the jurisdiction of the law and apply the necessary gauze. Staying would equate to punishment for that reason. People might well associate the fleeing outcast with nearby gunfire and arm against him because of it. He would be lucky to get off without a trial, almost certainly still causing conflict with his presence alone. No, there was no place for Sulov Exile in Ga-Koro's urban splendor. His only home for now was the lonely hut in Le-Wahi.Sulov turned. Then, ignoring the pain from the bruise, he sprinted from the marshy clearing and into the dark forest before him. OOC: Sulov to Le-Wahi.
