BZPRPG: Ga-Wahi

Ic: "That's just what we need, then," Stannis accepted. "But it has been several days since the Rama Hive attack, and it could be days until we find Sulov if we trace his steps. If you know how Sulov acts, then where do you think we should look for him? Not just signs of his presence -- him." Stannis was both rigid and eager to know more, a combination that presented himself as a balanced but stern leader who understood more than the others. Fate was tugging at him to move, and he had every intent to hasten the organization of the group as much as possible, and his attitude reflected that urgency.He wasn't a guard but he was a leader, and he needed to present himself adequately to the strangers he would be leading for who-knew how long. He was going to have to deal with other sorts of leaders and followers who had had other leaders of different calibers. Reordin was one such example: A guard who had surrounded himself with officers of the law and order in a rigid system of follow-or-die-trying. But Stannis was doing something different: He was giving Reordin a chance to speak his mind and express himself. While at first Reordin may have percieved Stannis to be just another hotshot leader, what Stannis wanted -- needed -- to do was make it known that he was a leader who valued everyone in the group and would do what was needed for the betterment of the mission and the team. That alone would be a distinction that would separate him from the rest of the militaristic men in the island.

IC:Labelle wasn't quite sure what exactly she had walked into when she entered Casa Juturna. There was Reaver, with some strange, handsome man standing by her and Tillian and Emotia had just walked down the stairs, weapons ready to fight. Labelle was quiet as they talked and subtly insulted each other."I'm sorry" Labelle butted in, hoping to startle the people in the argument into being more polite, "anyone care to give introductions?"

IC: [Naona]"Let's go. Time's-a-wasting."

IC: The DogHafja scratched mask with the tip of his kohlii stick, risking his balance as he did so. Spitting, he watched the gentle ripples billow outwards from its point of concussion in the ocean. He nodded approval. "I was just been in le. In my time me ne'r found a Tank. What's he look like?" The po-koroan asks apprehensively. Liara could appreciate her ally's skills of disguise. His entire demeanor left nothing unsuited to his role of the traveling kohlii player who'd seen a bit of violence on his way. She might have used a bit of a better dye solution though, as the orange was beginning to show from a close distance. He finally glanced up as the two strolled, having made their way to the gate leading out of the village. It was closed. Given the time, Hafja wasn't surprised.

IC: Gunner - Infernavika"Well, in that case, who'd be Quartermaster?" I asked, skipping over the fact that Raknar had already appointed me First Mate.-Void

IC: Slannak"We haven't got any jobs lined up at the moment." Slannak grinned. "Though 'dodgepot' was pretty fun the first time."

IC: Dorian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"Oh! Hello, there," I said, smiling at the pretty Toa of Water amiably as I turned to face her. "My name is Dorian. I don't believe I've had the pleasure..."IC: Reordin (Market, Ga-Koro)"Sulov would be near someone who could give him an assignment," he replied immediately. "He'd want to stay close to someone that could give him a reason to move into the action; if he hasn't left Le-Wahi, he'd be in Onu-Koro, with the Ussalry."-Teezy

IC:Labelle returned Dorian's smile - which was rather charming. Considering Tillian's and Emotia's anger at his presence, he probably wasn't the best Toa around. Still, Labelle preffered to give him the benefit of the doubt. Also, he looked too handsome to be some evil psychopath."I suppose you haven't. My name is Labelle" she said, sticking out her hand so Dorian could kiss it. She had never done that before, and thought it would be pretty darn amazing if Dorian did in fact kiss it.

IC: Dorian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)And suuuuuuuure enough..."That is a bee-yoo-tiful name," I murmured, kissing the back of her hand softly before lifting it and pressing it to her cheek. "It fits you like a glove."-Teezy

IC:"Oh, stop it you" Labelle said, blushing slightly. She pulled her hand back down to her side. "So what is it you do, Dorian? Besides complimenting women in your spare time, of course?"

IC: Dorian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"Oh, odd jobs," I said casually, putting my hands on the banister of the stairs and pulling myself into a sitting position; my black denim-clad legs bumped against the stairway rails casually here and there, and I shrugged. "Different artsy stuff, mainly.""So, Dorian. With such a busy and intriguing life, what brings you here?""Well, I heard your wife was in the department for a...new watch. Came to see if I could help her out."-Teezy

IC:"Charismatic, charming, mysterious and artsy, odd jobs?" Labelle asked rhetorically. "If I didn't know better, that sounds like the description of a con man." She took a step towards Dorian and eyed him carefully. "Can you at least explain what you mean by watch, so I'm not the only one in the room that doesn't know what you're talking about?"

IC: "Well, I don't want to get banished, but.." Kaithas grinned. "They might still wanna attack us. Alternatively, we could go look for a job/trouble."

IC: Dorian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)I opened my mouth to speak, but Tillian answered for me, luckily; I would have given her some long-winded answer that ended in "I'm a Mark Bearer, but don't worry, I'm not here to kill you and everyone you hold dear quite yet, as long as you keep rational and don't get that pretty head of yours all torqued up." Luckily."It's Mark Bearer stuff, Labelle. Dorian's got some extra perks on him that some of the other Bearers don't, and he came to see if he could give us a hand."What a man dime.-Teezy

IC:Labelle pretended to pout. "Oh, you Mark Bearers have all the fun. The weddings, the cool tattoos, the handsome friends" she said, gesturing at Dorian. "It's not fair."She had an idea. She used her Mask and shapeshifted a glowing maroon mark on her skin near her neck. "There, now I have a mark too. Now can I know what you all are up too? Or at least get a drink?"

IC: Dorian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"Lady wants a drink, Til!" I chirped, sliding off the banister like a raindrop. "What kind of host are you, not offering her one as soon as she walked in?"Tillian opened his mouth to reply, but I merely brushed past him with a pat on the shoulder as I moved towards the kitchen and began to comb the place for any signs of alcohol. Sure enough, after a couple minutes, I popped a bottle of champagne out from under the floorboards - Juturna, you and your adolescent mind couldn't hide a bottle of alcohol from me if you gouged out my eyes and plugged my nose with bullets - and poured two glasses. Moving out to the foyer, I handed one to Labelle and took my perch on the banister once again, taking a sip with a twinkle in my eye to show her it wasn't poisoned.-Teezy

Ic: Stannis blinked. "I'm not sure what you mean to say, Reordin," he said slowly, contrasting Reordin's quick snap. "This does not tell me where he could be, unless there are only a few places he could get an assignment. Make yourself clear," he said finally.

IC-Nokth:"It's when people say not to be concerned that I get the most concerned," Nokth said, shaking his head.

IC:Labelle took the drink from Dorian and sipped it, seeing him twinkle his eye at her. She knew that whoever this Dorian was, he probably couldn't really be trusted- still, it was pretty fun. And he did act rather smooth."You sure seem to know your way around here Dorian. Are you usually an uninvited guest here, or do you just always look like you know what you're doing?"

IC: Dorian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"I always know what I'm doing," I purred, upturning one corner of my mouth in a cute smirk. "It's more a matter of whether it's a smart choice doing it."IC: Reordin (Market, Ga-Koro)"I'm saying that if he's not still in Le-Wahi, he'd be in Onu-Koro, at the Ussalry HQ, waiting for assignment."-Teezy

IC:Labelle felt butterflies in her stomach. Why was this Toa so darn charming? She sipped the drink more heavily, and it was quickly gone. She thought she was a little light headed again, and cursed in her head. She still hadn't fully recovered from the last party she'd been too, and here she was drinking again. At least it was just champagne. She looked back at Dorian, her eyes wide. "And how often do you do the smart thing, exactly?"

IC: Emotia - Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi -Emotia flinched a bit at the mention of the timer, but otherwise her expression stayed the same. "You want to give me time? Why?"

IC: Slannak"I'll take the second option, please." Slannak turned to look at Kaithas. "Trouble sounds like much more fun than finding work."

IC: Merla and ValjaThe two of them went to the bar. Merla said ouch in an attempt to be funny; Valja ignored her. The two of them sat down, got a beer each, and listenedOOC: Open for interaction

IC: "Let's go to a bar, seeing as trouble is always there." Kaithas grinned. "I'm unbeatable at drinking contests."

IC: SlannakSlannak nodded. "Sure thing. I can't really hold my alchohol though." She got off the ship and headed towards the nearest bar.OOC: And by pure chance, it happens to be the bar that Merla and Valja walked into.

OOC::the actual point of me saying bar.IC: Kaithas ordered a drink and noticed A toa of lightning and a turuga sitting at the bar. "Hey." Kaithas said, always eager to make new acquaintances.

IC: Valja"Hello. What brings you two here?"IC: MerlaMerla ignored the two and continued to drink. For some reason, she needed alcohol right now and a large amount of it The overriding need for something to drink had made her ignore everything else

IC:"I'm Kaithas. This is Slannak. Our boss has a hangover, so we were looking for something to do." Kaithas said. "is your friend trying to get alcohol poisoning?"

IC: Valja"She's only had one so far, so I'm not sure yet. We're only here because we don't know what to do ourselves."

IC: Kaithas sipped his drink. "Well, what have you been doing?"

IC: SlannakSlannak looked at the bartender "Hey, I'll take a light beer." The bartender passed it to her and she downed it within seconds.

Ic: "We'll discuss this more as we travel," Stannis decided, seeing that there was no point in standing there trying to bring out answered from a tight-lipped guard who wasn't able or willing to give the answers Stannis was looking for. He made a mental note of Reordin's behaviours, opting to just learn more from his surroundings as time went on and handle things as they came up. Right then it was not an issue -- the path was clear: Go to Le-Wahi."Let's move to Le-Wahi for the search," he said to the rest. "I don't reckon we'll arrive at Le-Koro before nightfall, so we'll likely spend the night in the trees. Lepidran, I trust you know the jungle well enough to lead us to the best part to rest in. From there we will keep looking for Sulov in the morning."Oreius, go grab your weapons and supplies. The rest of you, go fetch what you feel you need to take with you on the trip. We'll move out of this village within the hour; I'll be at the village gate before then, waiting. For some of you, this may be a time of final goodbyes because where we wander will leave no room for turning back. Go, but make it quick," he said.

IC (Lohkar)"Well, if you'd feel up to it," Lohkar replied, "there's nothin' in the rules says a man can't be both..."

IC: Dekal"Right-o," the Toa of Sonics said, and removed his arm. Even without his arm, Dekal still managed to guide Four out of the door of the Inn. Somehow.IC: DehkazShaking his head, the Toa of Magnetism followed, before taking the lead to the ship once all of them were out the door. Even if he didn't know where Dekal had parked the ship, it wouldn't be that hard to find, with all of the cannons and disk-launchers sticking out of it.

IC: Kaithas grinned. "Hey, you drink it that fast and you'll be tipsy in no time."

IC: Valja"Sitting around, exploring the wahi" she replied

IC: "Hmm. This presents quite a conundrum." Kaithas thought for a second. "Well, let's have a drink, get to know each other, and then find something to do."

IC: Dorian (Casa Juturna, Ga-Wahi)"Because it's the right thing to do, silly," I replied to Emotia, swinging my legs onto the banister and crossing my feet at the ankle, lying in an upwards plank and tracing the ceiling dreamily. For Labelle's benefit, I winked and added, "It's also the smart thing to do."-Teezy
