  • IC:Miha

Miha glanced behind herself as she ran. Dekuna was incapacitated. That left the bumbling trio, Havon, and Zealokan. And since she didn't see a cart following her just yet, and she wasn't slowing down due to Zealokan's movement powers, that must mean that Havon was the one who had found her next. She glanced up, and as she expected, there was Havon, following her from the sky. These guys are way too easy to predict. Miha thought, continuing to run. I mean, Dekuna always uses sound to track people, Havon usually attempts to catch people with his mask, and Zealokan would use some complicated contraption in an attempt to catch me. As Miha ran, her foot caught on a rock, and Miha fell face-first. If Havon looked down, he would see Miha sprawled out on the ground, with what looked like blood spilling from her mouth. It seemed her injuries had finally caught up with her.

  • IC: Havon - Ga-koro -Havon cursed himself inwardly as Miha spotted him, of course she would be looking for him in the sky, he had to admit that he probably was being too obvious using his mask, that's what he always did. Then Miha suddenly tripped landed face-first, it looked like that hurt....a lot. Havon landed quickly, he could see what appeared to be blood oozing out of the young matoran's mouth. "Miha!" He shouted in concern.

  • IC:MihaWhen Havon landed, Miha quickly leapt at him and sent a mark enhanced punch at the Toa of Fire's face, not attempting to permanently hurt him, just trying to knock him out. It seemed that Miha had cut her arm, and used the blood from the wound to fool Havon into thinking she had hurt herself so he would fly down and attempt to help her. One of the red Bula Juices that Mimira had been drinking earlier would've worked better, but Miha didn't have one on her at the time, so she made due with what she had.OOC:Gonna retcon the entire picking Miha up thing, as Havon probably wouldn't have picked her up if she had just had her bleeding arm close to her mouth to make it look like she was bleeding.

  • IC: (Valria, Mef's Funeral)The receptionist nodded and lead the two Toa to the coast where Mef's rowboat was pushed onto shore. The whole way there Valria's legs felt like lead, unwilling to move. Her mind and her emotions affecting her body, she didn't want to accept that Mef was dead. She didn't want to deal with the reality of these circumstances. She had to say goodbye to Mef though. In the end it would be the last thing that brought this whole mess to a close. Valria and Agni had finally made their way to the coastline. Mef's body placed in the boat, before it took one last voyage along with Mef. Besides them there wasn't really anyone there to say their goodbyes to Mef. No other friends, no family to speak of it seems, it tore Valria apart. A female priestess, a Turaga of Water spoke up, starting the ceremony."We gather here to honor a Toa who has passed, a life cut so tragically short. Today we remember a friend, a Toa truly worthy of his title. Mef was a good friend, who no matter what was there when he was needed so desperately. He cared deeply for his friends and despite his faults he could always be counted. And though it pains us greatly, our friend must make one last trip, one last journey, but he will take it alone, and some day perhaps we will meet him there."As she finished Valria walked forward, her feet getting wet as she leaned over the boat. Mef's face seemed peaceful, at rest, in a way glad that it was all over. Valria took the crossbow she had borrowed from Mef, placing it in one of his hands. His arms were laid over each other, a crossbow in one hand, a sword in the other. Whatever awaited the hero on the other side, he would be ready. It was adorned with the water lily Ga-Koro was known for and various other flowers. A fitting funeral for a friend."Goodbye Mef, one day I will make the journey and see you again. Goodbye my Tau." Valria whispered to him, before placing a kiss on the forehead of his mask. Running her hand over it for a second and stepping back as the Ga-Matoran pushed it out into the waves, further and further until it was now drifting farther out. A Ga-matoran handed Agni the bow and arrow. No words were exchanged, none of them needed to be. Valria stood in the water, watching as Mef's rowboat sailed out into the blue sea. Watching as another one drifted away from her.OOC: Do something to desecrate this funeral and you will awaken a beast like none you have ever seen before.IC: (Hari)"Joke about what ma'am?" Naona would have been able to hear her say the first thing, so the second thing must have made her uncomfortable. "I really need to get him in bed though, for his own good." Hari smiled. "Well I'm ready to leave whenever you are ma'am."

  • IC: Havon - Ga-koro -Havon moved to get out of the way, but it was a little too late, Miha missed his head, but got him in the right shoulder instead. Havon was sent flying backwards bit and landed on his behind. His shoulder hurt bad enough that he was able to get up, grunting from the pain. Her mark-enhanced attack had been strong enough to bruise his shoulder even through his armor. Havon instinctively make a wall of fire around himself to prevent Miha from attacking him further as he thought what to do next. Savina's current state of mind was quite similar to that of a wild rahi, a timid one at that. Maybe if she hadn't been in such a panic she would of at least said hi or been friendly to the fellow Toa of Plantlife. But Savina was not in her right mind, hadn't been since the ritual. As Kaithas suddenly appeared as if out of nowhere in front of her she stopped dead in her tracks, she looked back behind her quickly, she saw the marines were quickly recovering from her vines and coming after her quickly. Savina looked back at Kaithas, and then began to sprint right toward him, Kaithas most likely thought she was going to crash into him and braced himself. Suddenly Savina activated her mask of kindred. Once again she used the ability of a Kirikori Nui to leap right over Kaithas. She kept running, heading toward the koro's exit to the beach. The Marines chasing her yelled for her to stop, passing Kaithas as they did.

  • IC: (Uar)Having followed in Havon's general flying direction, Uar was surprised when he saw the Toa land nearby, only to get sent flying into a hut shortly after by a punch thrown by Miha. So that mark gives her an evil personality and super strength? I'll have to handle this a bit more carefully... he thought as he sent a stream of ice at Miha's feet, attempting to freeze her in place.OOC: Uar still doesn't know about Marks' properties, so that's the reason for that thought.

  • IC: Savina - Ga-koro -Only one marine was blocked by Kaithas' teleporting in front of them, the rest of the marines kept going around the two. The marine that Kaithas had stopped was a male Toa of Water, he looked rather annoyed. "Sir, stand down or we'll have to detain you for interfering with marine business." He warned, not convinced at Kaithas' words in the sightliest, after all, Savina had not responded to Kaithas.Savina of course wouldn't even respond to the name 'Rina'. She didn't even glance back, she was looking straight toward where she was running, the way out of this scary village, she was nearly there too. The only obstacle was two Toa of Water guarding the gate, who by now noticed the commotion and moved to block her path. She quickly bolted to the left, taking the path toward various businesses and taverns. She figured her only shot now was to find somewhere to hide, and quick. Before any marines or guards could get around the corner she had already found the perfect place, just behind a stack of various barrels and crates filled with goods, mostly fish. She quickly hid behind them, praying that no one nearby that might of seen her would tell the marines. OOC: I'm afraid that logically speaking you could only teleport in front of one marine, it's not like they'd all be lined up right next to each other. And Savina isn't gonna stop because some stranger called her 'Rina' either, that really wouldn't make sense for her to do.

"I don't have any money, so I sent her to ask to borrow a mango so I could grow a tree, and have food as well as pay the merchant back." I grinned. "She must have forgotten to ask, and just grabbed it instead."OOC: Kaithas wasn't trying to block, just get their attention. Also, I thought about the not answering to that name thing, but just was gonna see how it played out. :P

  • NPC: Ga-koran Marine - Ga-koro -The Marine narrowed his eyes, looking at Kaithas carefully. Kaithas' story was sketchy at best, and it just didn't add up at all. First of all, if he need just one mango to grow a tree, he could of just asked himself. Also, why would the girl take a several and then run for it? Either Kaithas was covering for her or was in league with her, either way he was a liar. "Your story doesn't add up in the slightest, and you just admitted that you told her to take them. I'm gonna have to take you in for questioning." He reached for Kaithas' arm with his left hand, keeping his right hand on his sheathed sword, just in case Kaithas tried anything funny. "You're under arrest."

  • IC: No good deed goes unpunished. At least the others aren't implicated. I was debating whether to bind the guard and run for it, or go in for questioning. "Hey man. I told her to ask to borrow one. She looked like she needed food, so I agreed to give her some if she did it for me. Maybe she got impatient. Besides, if you give me a mango right now, I can repay it easily." Now would not be the best time to mention what happened at the hospital. I started growing an armguard on my right arm where the marine couldn't see it in case I had to make a break for it.

Has an air of confidence bordering on arrogance, could charm the evil out of Makuta's heart?""Yeah, that's the one. Master at flirting, too." She reached out, and took the slip of paper from Liara. He wasn't getting much of a conversation. He looked like he'd decided to talk to him later. And given the time of night, and the drinks he had, I wouldn't say he'd be leaving town.""Thank you for your help." Liara stood, and gulped the last of her drink. "And thank's for the drink." She dropped some widgets on the counter, and turned to leave. "That'll cover the drink, and keep the rest."She walked out of the bar, and headed toward the beach houses. She wasn't actually sure if Ishi was listening, but she decided to explain anyway. "We're headed to the beach houses. If Dorian was staying in town, he wouldn't put up with a second rate inn. In fact, he might not stay in an inn at all. So we'll check the empty houses, and then check the better inns around the village. We should find him sooner or later."

  • IC:Agni had stayed behind Valria as they had walked to the beach. The Toa of fire could see how hard this was for his friend and he wanted to stay close, just provide some form of comfort or strength for the Toa of gravity. Mata Nui knew he would have wanted somebody to stand by his side if their roles were reversed, so he did what he could, quiet and vigilant. And when the priestess spoke, his own emotions threatened to overcome him. Standing on the opposite side of the boat, across from Valria, it was an invisible struggle going on inside of him. He was choked up, unable to say anything. And thinking about it, what could he say? Breathing in deeply, Agni tried to hold back the guilt. He had spared Telric, actively advocated for a fair trial...and his friend had died because of it. And then, they had gone and killed Telric anyway, hunted him down and executed him and all his goons...just like Valria had intended all along. And that made Mef's death even harder to bear. He swallowed, but the lump in his throat wouldn't move. And suddenly, there was the bow in front of him. The priestess was holding it out for him. Agni started to reach for it, his hand trembling, unnoticeable by the others, but he could feel the shaking. Could he do this? He wasn't sure. His fingers reached out and wrapped around the leather-wrapped handle of the bow. One final duty in the service of a friend. And suddenly, Agni was calm again. The trembling disappeared almost instantly. He also didn't feel quite as choked up anymore. Turning around, Agni waded out of the knee-high water they had stood in for the past minutes and walked up the beach for a couple of steps, before taking the proper position to take the shot. The bow felt warm in his hand, weighing the perfect weight to grant the needed stability. Not too heavy, not too light. The arrow was equally well-balanced. Agni had never been one for bow and arrows, but the guard trained its men in many things, archery among them, so with his sudden emotional surge quelled, he had the confidence to do what was necessary. He pulled on the string a few times, the oiled wood flexing elegantly under the tension, before he hooked in the arrow. It was still unlit, but as the Toa of fire raised the bow, it suddenly burst into flame. It somehow felt proper that it would be his own fire to light Mef's way. It just felt...right.He adjusted the angle one more time, the boat in the distance in his sights."I am sorry that you have to go on this journey alone," Agni said softly, "but your spirit was one of bravery, you will find the way to the distant shores. And when our time comes eventually, we will meet you there. I am proud to have called you...brother."Like a falling star, the arrow flew from the bow in a long arc, a trail of orange against the early evening sky. It hit the boat perfectly and like a beacon, the firelight shone back to the beach. Agni slowly lowered the bow, quietly handing it back to the priestess. She took a small bow and quietly disappeared, leaving just Valria and Agni behind. The Toa slowly walked back down the beach until the water washed over his feet again. He waded a few steps further until he stood next to Valria and gently placed and arm across her shoulder. They stood like that until the sun disappeared behind the treetops behind them and the light from Mef's boat was the only one nearby.Eventually, Agni spoke up. "What will you do next?" he asked softly. "Do you know where you will go?"OOC: Just one more post and Agni will be free to train Joske full time.

The Matoran shook her hand. No matter how hard she punched, hitting solid metal with your bare fist hurt like Karz. She glanced at Havon just in time to see Uar sending a bolt of Ice at her feet. Miha attempted backflip backwards to dodge the ice, but the cut in her arm, her injured hand, and the adverse affects her Mark was having on her body kept her from doing the flip properly. The Matoran fell back on her rear end, barely avoiding the ice. Scrambling to her feet Miha bolted from the two Toa, heading south.

The Marine said rather stoically, heading toward the library, the last known location of Sergeant Airu. The Marine quickly found her. "Sergeant..." He addressed her, "This Toa interfered with Marine business, a young female Toa of Plantlife ran off with a merchants mangoes and he claims that he told her to ask if she can borrow one." The tone of the Marine indicated he was extremely skeptical of Kaithas' story. The Marine looked like he had more to say, but he waited for the Sergeant's response.IC: Savina - Ga-koro -Savina stayed behind the crate for what seemed like an eternity, she hardly even started to eat on of the mangoes, eventually hunger overtook her and she began to devour the fruit. After stuffing her face, Savina peaked over the crates she was well hidden behind, the Marines were no where to be found...all she had to do was sneak out of the koro...she decided to head toward Le-Wahi...she winced at the idea of getting farther away from Anthyn, but if she stayed in Ga-koro she'd get caught, she hoped that Anthyn would be able to find her. Knowing the Valkyr, Anthyn probably could track her if she wished. Savina eyed the gate, the two guards still stood there, surely they would recognize her, she needed a distraction...Savina eyed some of the barrels. Perfect... Before the two guards eyes several barrels began to roll across the lilypads, some falling off the edge and into the sea. Several matoran shouted for help to retrieve them, the guards of course didn't just sit there...one of them reached out with her elemental powers and began to move the water to push the barrels back to the edge. With that distraction Savina leaped over the guards as well as the gate, the guards didn't notice her till she had landed on the other side, she ran faster than she ever had, which was made twice as difficult to do since her soul had been sucked away, the guards however could not leave their post, but would certainly report her escape. Savina continued to run toward the Le-Wahi border, panting heavily.

But then what is, it's not like there's anyone around I can just go up to and ask, hey, have you seen a murder running about? I really have a bone to pick with him. These were the thoughts running through my head when she showed up. A Toa of Plantlife running towards us, well she was probably heading for Le-Wahi, but we stood in the way. In her arms were a bunch of, melons(?), well that was odd.I didn't know what she was running from but I was curious. Not just about the melons but the generally look on her. It looked like something had been suck out of her, the way she ran just looked like she was trying twice as hard. Not debating on the cause any longer, I used my Pakari for a powered leap right in front of her. Catching her as she stumpled forward in surprise and shock. "So lassie, you seem to be in quite a hurry. What seems to be the matter, and what's with all these melons?" I asked, while snatching a melon and examining it. "Mind if I take a bite?"

The bloody memory was still fresh in his mind as Lathon slowly stopped, his eyes scanning the village as he looked for his target. After so long his revenge was not yet complete.

  • IC: (Valria)"Agni I wish I knew. I'm going someplace faraway, maybe so I can think about all that happened and try to sort through it all." Valria whispered, as she wrapped her arms around Agni, leaning her head against him. Take a few deep breaths, trying to sort out the words to say a proper goodbye. Part of her knew she should stay with Agni, but another part of her think she needed be on her own. That or at least away from Agni and all of this. A chance to move on and a chance for Agni to move on. She looked up with a smile, that gentle rare smile."Besides you'll be fine without me, your new friends. You'll be better with them then me. I...just wanted to thank you for everything you did, everything you tried to do. You're a good man Agni, an example of what Toa should be." She squeezed Agni a little tighter, and moved up to place a kiss on his cheek. Before pulling away, that wrenching feeling in her body as she left perhaps the safest place in the world for her. Valria rubbed away the tears and started moving away, she need to leave. She needed to be somewhere else. Somewhere, a place that she couldn't put Agni in danger. That she couldn't drag anymore danger, anymore pain into his life or for that matter any into hers (but she noticed how all this pain followed her, so that wasn't likely). She turned back with one last smile."I...I'm sorry Agni, for everything. Perhaps I'll see you again." She paused for a second, uttering two more words before disappearing into a crowd, that was going into Ga-Koro."Goodbye Agni."OOC: I think "The Way" by Zach Hemsey or "Waiting Between Worlds" is a good song choice for the ending to this plot. Actually "The Way" would be a great Leitmotif for this RPG. Also Snelly would Bruntoa would be willing to train a character, say Valria?IC: (Hari)"Well ma'am I'm ready. Got everything together." She replied, awaiting Naona's orders to move out.

  • NPC: Ga-koran Marine - Ga-koro -The Marine sighed as he took Kaithas, "If you swear to me that you won't leave this spot till Airu has spoken to you, then yes." The guard suddenly got real close to Kaithas' face. "But if you try to escape...you'll spend a lot longer than just one night in a cell I can assure you." And with that warning the guard left, leaving Kaithas outside the library. IC: Bruntoa - Ga-koro -"I can run pretty fast." Bruntoa said, looking rather indifferent as to whether or not they actually went after Savina or not. "Well if you're gonna go after her you're off to a bad start. She's probably already out of Ga-koro!" Denerium exclaimed. IC: Savina - Near the Le-Wahi Border, Ga-koro -Savina let out of yelp as she was suddenly stopped by Malik's powerful arms, dropping most of her mangoes in the process. She immediately struggled to get away from Malik, though she was already quite tired as it was, Malik could easily overpower her. Her face was one of pure panic. She began to claw and kick at Malik, though the more she struggled the more exhausted she looked.

  • IC (Greed)A glass of ice water had arrived at each place, garnished with a ring of lime, drops of condensation dripping down and forming small puddles on the tabletop. Greed picked his up and sipped, the water cold and sweet on his tongue; it soothed his parched throat and cleared his thoughts. At Sloth's question (a fitting name, and all the more so because he chose it for himself), the Toa of Air turned his gaze without turning his head, and watched as an attractive Pa-Toa approached their table, announced by her footsteps on the wooden floor, and the waiter, a towel draped over his arm, who walked before her. The female Toa was tall and slender, with expertly crafted armour and gracefully curved mask."Of course," he replied quietly. "I simply haven't met her yet."The Pa-Toa finished her walk to the table and stood with a hand on her hip as the waiter (oblivious to the fact that the two parties had never before met) pulled out a chair for her, across from Greed. The Toa of Air smiled affably as she took a seat, then the waiter pushed in her chair and spread a cloth napkin across her lap.How do you speak to someone you've never met, and act as though you've known them forever? Greed had done so five times thus far. He had pulled Gluttony in with little trouble, then persuaded Pride and Dico (whose identity was almost certainly locked in stone, with the appearance of this charming visitor) to join him; Wrath had come along with almost no effort, requiring only vague promises of bloodshed and violence; and Sloth was already on a crusade of his own, one that meshed perfectly with the one Greed offered. One Toa remained; Greed could feel it in his bones. A last sinner to join this group of sinners... perhaps this charming Toa would be the domino that started it all, sending the world crashing into chaos. As the waiter filled the Pa-Toa's glass with sparkling ice water, Greed raised his own in a half-toast of greeting. "Hello, beautiful."OOC: I had many ideas of what Greed would first say to Anthyn, but this seemed like the most fun. Take it away, EW.IC (Jin)The bottle was two thirds-empty, and I was hardly drunk at all."Cheap Ga-Koran liquor," I snarled under my breath, pouring another glass.Leaning back in my chair, I sipped at my drink, and looked around the bar. Aside from the bartender, the waitress, and I, there were maybe a half-dozen other beings here, in various states of intoxication. None, unfortunately, attractive enough to approach in the hopes of finding some company. I do have standards, you know.IC (Cael)Joske's vision of a dark Toa... could this be the same being that she had heard rumours of? A blacker-than-midnight Toa who appeared and disappeared without warning, dealing death and destruction wherever he went, leaving nothing behind save for the blood of those dead and the confused accounts of those who survived.Nobody knew who he was or where he had come from, although it was generally agreed upon that he was evil. He had first been seen at the assault on the Nui-Rama hive, directing infected Rahi and Rahkshi against the invading army, and eventually entering the melee himself, battling countless attackers with ease.Of course, all these were rumours. There was little in the way of substantial information, especially here in Ga-Koro. Cael supposed that if one were to go to Le-Wahi and visit the Island Liberation Squad, the group responsible for the destruction of th Nui-Rama hive, one could find some solid facts. But, for now, all she had were scattered and often conflicting accounts, and she didn't want to burden Joske with those. The last thing he needed was more pressure. So, instead, the Toa of Water shrugged, and smiled. trying to appear more nonchalant than she felt. "A vision, and the first Toa Stone seen in years. I don't know Mata Nui's plans, but he must have something special in store for you."

  • IC: Dorian (Beach House, Ga-Koro)Alright. Enough. You've had your time to mope. Get up.I moved to the mirror of the house and examined myself before moving into the pool and bathing myself, letting my body soak in the warm Ga-Koro water for about a quarter of an hour before hefting myself out and dressing into a tight black satin t-shirt, herringbone vest, slim black denim pants, and black high-top that lifted over my jean and stopped about a quarter of the way up my calf. I finished the gorgeous casual disarray look with a black scarf thrown lackadaisically around my neck, its tasseled end hanging parallel to my right shoulder as I took a deep breath.Get yourself together. Your night on the town isn't over yet.And so, with that cheerful thought in mind, I walked over to a bar, far away from the docks or the place where I'd had my fistfight with Utu, and sat down. It was empty at this hour, with only a handful of being meandering around and only one, an attractive Vortixx in tight clothing, in any state that resembled sobriety. "Bourbon. Neat."IC: Venedico (Restaurant, Ga-Koro)Hot. Hot. Hoooooooot. Why couldn't he find a girl like that...?-Teezy

  • IC-Nokth:Nokth, once he had stepped out, hadn't really found any other thoughts to go along with what he had been thinking before. No, he was stuck on the same train, repeating the same arguments over and over again. He'd exhausted what he could for the moment, now he just had to decide which voice to listen to...Although, he had already set himself with Decaia, if only to watch him, to observe...and to, eventually, learn more about Matoran culture. And anything that Decaia had said so far only reinforced his beliefs that they were rather selfish beings, far too afraid of that they couldn't understand, and relying on thankless 'heroes' to protect them. After a small moment, he nodded to himself. He would continue with Decaia, for the time being. There was little else he could do, besides, unless one counted running off on his own to serve Makuta...and without a team to help him, he would most likely die soon. He wasn't quite as animalistic as the other Akrainid could be. Standing up, he walked back into the Inn, taking his spot behind Decaia again as he looked at the new Toa who had walked in, a shapely (by Toa standards) female...and one of the other Toa sitting, he wasn't sure who, gazing at her intently. How odd.IC-Aclaraung:After a short amount of time wondering about Ga-Koro, and making sure to himself that young Norathed would be able to protect himself while he was gone, Aclaraung quickly lifted off, heading back to the very spot he had left Onu-Wahi from before.OOC: Aclaraung to Onu-Wahi.
