IC
"It can't be helped Marianne. Plus Nicole here is our friend and has been here before." She smiled at the scientist before looking back at Nicole.
"So who is this boy, Nicole?" She asked curiously.
IC: Nicole
Nicole glanced at Marianne. "Yes I am part of Hellfire if you didn't know... I'm not usually around however, I've been a spy inside the Xavier institute for the last year." she smiled.
She then turned to Dallas. "This is Dallas Green, at one time he was an X-Man, and he is also incredibly attractive. I trust him with my life."
IC:
"I'm terribly sorry about all this," Dallas said to Lynae. "Normally when she kidnaps me like this, we go to Disneyland, or the Mall of America, or the Hollywood Walk of Fame or something. This is a new one."
-Tyler
IC
"We'll you don't have to apologize for anything, Dallas." She stuck her hand out to him, smiling. "I'm Lynae Rosewood, Black Queen of the Hellfire club. I do so hope you enjoy your stay here... By the way you don't have to be B- do you?"
"Errr...pretty sure I'm A+."
"Such a pity." She said with a sigh. "A+... Such a common type.." The Black Queen began to walk into the mansion, leading them into an unoccupied tea room. "Come sit down you all... Let's have a chat."
IC: Nicole
"We can go to Disney Land next time. That sounds fun." Nicole smiled. She followed Lynae and Dallas into the tea room and took a seat.
IC
Lynae snapped her fingers and a servant brought in some earl grey tea. He poured it into the cups and then promptly left.
"So Nicole, why'd you bring Dallas this time?" She asked curiously before sipping some tea.
IC Marianne
Marianne shrugged as she watched the Black Queen lead the visitors to a tea room. Sighing, she went on her way.
IC: Nicole
Nicole looked at Lynae and thought for a moment. "Well... I was getting bored of the school and I wanted to stay here; I couldn't leave Dallas behind. Besides I feel like Dallas needs a change of scenery, I was thinking maybe he'd like it here." she shrugged before glancing at Dallas.
IC Marianne
Marianne walked into the tea room. She felt that she needed to keep an eye on these visitors; despite one being a Hellfire spy, they were both still young. Besides, it was an open invitation. She took a sest on the farthest side away from Nicole and Dallas, watching the two of them.
IC Tokiomi
"One of us, possibly more, if the submarine has room, will travel to the site where the mecha first appeared and examine the seafloor around the site. The rest of us will wait here until the submarine returns with the data; we'll decide a course of action based upon what we find out."
IC: Jennifer
"There is room for all of us if you want to ride along. Who knows what we will find down there." she motioned to the two empty seats next to Marauder.
IC: TLAW-001 Vivus
Vivus turned to Marauder. "If you're referring to me, my designation is TLAW-001 Vivus. It's not a codename either, it's actually my name."
IC: Lynae
Lynae poured Marianne some tea and nodded at Nicole. "Does Alaric know that you have brought him?" She asked with an eyebrow raised.
IC:
"Alaric?"
-Tyler
IC:
The vampire smirked. "Uh huh... I though you'd remember the history teacher... He's my male counter part, the Black King now." She chuckled as she sipped her tea. This was turning out to be fun.
IC: Jennifer
"There is room for all of us if you want to ride along. Who knows what we will find down there." she motioned to the two empty seats next to Marauder.
IC Tokiomi
"Well, that just makes things easier. If you all are ready to go," Tokiomi said casually and climbed into the submarine.
IC:
The vampire smirked. "Uh huh... I though you'd remember the history teacher... He's my male counter part, the Black King now." She chuckled as she sipped her tea. This was turning out to be fun.
IC Marianne
"Quite ironic, if you think about it," Marianne musd, partially to herself. "The most senior of the X-Men becoming the leader of one of their greatest enemies, who would have thought? And considering what he did to get the position..." While Marianne didn't know just how Alaric became the Black King, she did know that the road leading to that position wasn't the cleanest one.
IC:
"No, Ric is dead, he was in Vegas when everything happened, he took the Blackbird there and never came back. he would never turn on us. Warren said..."
-Tyler
IC Marianne
"Is the idea of resurrection so foreign to you?" Marianne replied. "Despite the fact that it falls squarely in the realm of magic and not of science, bringing individuals back from the dead is perfectly plausible. The Fantastic Four did it all the time." Marianne sipped her tea, watching the youngster. "Though to be quite frank, if what you said is true, then I have no idea how Mr. Carlisle was able to return to life. Unless he had an associate as brilliant as Reed Richards or Stephen Strange in his contact book, or perhaps a magical artifact? It wouldn't be a surprise if he did; he is Cheyarafim, after all." Marianne finished the rest of her tea and put down her cup. "Of course, this is purely conjecture," Marianne chuckled. "I probably don't have much idea what I'm talking about."
IC:
"Then maybe you should get to shutting up. What's with the tea? The polite speech? The condescending friendliness? I'm a hostage here. Don't deny it, Nicole. You smashed me in the head with a vodka bottle, chained me up like a pit bull, drove me to the city, and dumped me in this tea room to play conspiracy theory. Tell me what you want, and then either kill me or let me go."
-Tyler
IC: Maruader
"I'll just call you Vivus for short."
He looked at Jennifer and Tokiomoi.
"So are we going to go, or wait for someone else."
IC Tokiomi
"I think we have enough people for this job, so I'd say that we can go now."
OOC Last call; anybody else?
IC: TLAW-001 Vivus
"Most people do." he said to Marauder. "I'm ready to go." he told to Tokiomi, strapped into his seat.
IC
"First off of, you are no hostage of mine and I requested that you be out of those chains. I simply am a civilized person and wish to a good host. What she and Alaric decide to do with you, I may merely put in my input. You have quite the nerve to insult the only person that has been helping you." Her eyes narrowing as her hand began to grip very tightly on her teacup.
IC
"My my, Mr. Green, that's very brash of you." She got up and gently patted his cheek. "It's not very clever of you to speak like that to a Queen you know." She gave him a grin, her fangs slightly exposed.
"If you insist I can have you chained up again... But I think you look better without them. However, I'll let your history teacher know you're here." She quickly pulled her phone out and sent a text to Ric, informing him of the arrival of Dallas Green.
IC Peter
"So, guys..." Peter looked at Ashley, then at Sierra, then at Morrison, then back at Ashley. "What now? We have the plate number, but how do we find the car?" Peter muttered something about publicly accessible vehicle transmitters hot being put to use until 2063.
IC: Ashley
"We just need to follow Nicole's scent! I mean it is pretty strong, no way will lose it."
IC Peter
"You sure you two," Peter addressed Sierra and Morrison, "Can track the scent through the road? I mean, the scent of car exhaust might throw you guys off."
IC: Ashley
"Her smell is STRONGER."
IC Peter
"Yeah, but 200 or so cars go over the road every hour." Peter muttered something about fossil fuel vehicles. "While Nicole's scent may be strong, it will be hidden behind a lot of carbon fumes. And if we have to go into the city, there will be thousands of different scent trails; we could get lost."
IC
Lynae shrugged. "It doesn't bother me... His blood type is common." She gave an exaggerated sigh as she walked up to Romulus. "Mind you, Romulus, I am a royal too... But you know that." She winked at him before turning to Dallas.
"Well, Mr. Green it seems that you will be leaving us." She gently extended her hand to him, watching his reaction.
IC:
Dal turned his head to look at the new figure, at the legionnaires to his flanks, then back at Lynae, fangs glared. Vampire? He almost cracked a quip about taking her out to Olive Garden sometime, but he didn't want to seem like any more of a defiant teenage upstart than he was in front of his only friend in this hall. Besides Nicole, anyway.
Nicole... how was he supposed to feel about Nicole? His friend, one of his best friends, the girl he'd saved, his shopping buddy, the girl he used as a model for paintings. His face throbbed where the bottle had smashed into it. His chest was tight. He should be able to hate her for turning her back on Westchester, on everything she had, everything they'd won for her, on him. Hate should come easier than this to an empath. She had to be hurting, too - they'd been like siblings, closer than siblings. His hand strayed towards her knee for a second...and then stopped. Too soon. Maybe it'll always be too soon.
He shrugged the chains off his lap, shook Lynae's hand firmly with a brief, sweeping gaze at everyone else, and then followed Romulus. If he was going to be led to be executed, he'd do it with his head held high. And no quips.
...Maybe one quip.
-Tyler
IC:
I nod. The wolf and vampire bat mix makes for a good sense of smell.
IC (Romulus)
As Dallas approached Romulus noted his hand approach the knee of his kidnapper. Romulus shook his head slightly, her type were a troublesome sort and if his sources were correct, the boy had had more then his fair share of troubles to deal with that weren't related to being hit in the face with a bottle. "A pleasure Mr. Green. I would have arrived sooner...." Romulus waved his left hand vaguely. "...I had some troublesome matters to take care of." Ensuring the local gangs never tried to break into one of his compounds for one. "Ah, but where are my manners? I am Romulus and I assure you, unconnected with your recent troubles." He waved at the hallways. "Shall we depart? I doubt you wish to remain here."
IC
"Oh yes, Romulus. Every young man would be dying to get away from three attractive ladies and throw themselves at you." She laughed as she feigned a swoon. "Such a dream!"
She then shook her head. "But in all seriousness, you two have fun. If you need anything, well Romulus you have my number."
IC (Romulus)
Romulus nodded. "When one of those women has hundreds of years of experience as a hunter...." Romulus laughed. "Then again I don't have much room to talk do I?" Some days, he didn't know quite what to make of the vampire. Then again, his frame of reference was limited.
OOC: And I just noticed Nicole doesn't have her old power anymore. So my last post makes no sense.
Pardon. I need to go to my shame corner now.
IC
She gave him a smile and chuckled. "You flatter me, Romulus." The blonde vampire smiled as she pushed some hair out of her eyes. "But no, not with your history."
IC:
"Present...I guess."
He debated the pros and cons of trying to rewrite his will on a Post-It note. A lot of his art and music stuff went to Nicole in the old one...
-Tyler
IC (Romulus)
"Excellent." Romulus led the way out of the room, with the two legionnaires falling into step behind him, putting themselves between Dallas and the occupants of the room. "Now Mr. Green, there is much we need to discuss. First and foremost, what will happen to you now. That depends entirely on how Alaric reacts. I have several plans prepared for certain eventualities though I would prefer to avoid making an enemy of him. Infighting has brought down more then it's fair share of empires let me assure you."
The would-be emperor paused for a moment. "I forgot myself, apologies. I should have told you this from the start, regardless of what happens I shall do my utmost to ensure you are not harmed. While our dear Ms. Binder might have deluded herself into thinking you a guest, she did not act as a host should. I, on the other hand, take hospitality quite seriously. I am quite sorry you were dragged into it this. I believe your university has seen enough trouble to last a lifetime as it stands." Alaric was free to pursue whatever grudges he wished but there nothing Romulus loathed more then catching innocents in the crossfire.
