OOC: Oura from Ko-Wahi. To do squat.IC Oura - Ga-Koro - Doing Squat: Oura teleported into the village, flashing from one place to the next, giving the crowds very little time to see him and memorize his face. He eventually teleported to the top of a building, getting out of view of basically everyone below. "I can't believe I couldn't finish that last job... that has to be the first time I've ever failed at this profession," he told himself, pacing on top of the roof as he though over the situation. His employer may come looking for him, which would not be good for him. He knew that the goons of his employer were particularly hard to kill, and they always came in large packs.Running had never been his thing, he would make the job go right, and finish off whoever it was that he was sent to kill. Perhaps he should not have spent all that time observing that white being, since he could have used that time to kill off his target. Sadly, his target had been virtually invisible to him, he hadn't heard a sound nor whisper of his name, and asking around in Ko-Koro was on par with talking to rocks - cold rocks."I can take his guys, I'll just go on the offensive, I have the tools and powers... yeah, I'll be alright," he said, looking down at the streets below, searching for any particularly large or powerful characters that might be walking around. Luckily, there wasn't anyone-KICKBrief fallSplat.Oura went face first into the streets below, almost cracking his mask in two from the impact. He regained his bearings after a few seconds of intense pain, and turned himself over to get a good look at whoever had just shoved him off the rooftop. A large red Skakdi stood with his foot gripping the edge of the roof, looking down menacingly at Oura, with an abnormal grin smeared on his face. The Toa of plasma jumped up, and whipped his weapon out, tossing a plasma blast at the Skakdi, who only blasted it away himself - with ice, that is. And from behind the red Skakdi emerged a white one, just as large, and just as menacing. "Karz..." Oura said, gripping his sword with both hands as he prepared for battle against the two goons."Alright, let's get this over with, we don't have all day, you see," the red one seethed, glancing at his white companion, and then back down at Oura. The two leaped off the rooftop, landing down behind Oura, and turning about to face him. Oura did the same, and sent a blast of plasma at the white one, while he parried a hit from the red Skakdi. The white fiend stopped the blast in its tracks with more ice, and then joined the fray, slashing at Oura with an especially deadly looking longsword. Oura blocked the slash, and sent out a wave of plasma to knock the two back, buying him time to teleport away from the Skakdi duo, and send more blasts of the superheated substance at them. One by one his blasts were met with either fire or ice, and the two joined together to create a blast of fire and ice, which they then sent directly at Oura. The Toa dove to the side, just barely avoiding the blast - and landing in the water as well. He teleported out of the water to behind the white Skakdi, and slashed him with his weapon, causing the brute to lunge forward in pain while his red ally turned and blasted Oura back with a surprise blast of fire. Thanks to his resistance to fire, though, Oura survived the blast and was only knocked backwards onto the ground. Reacting, Oura sent up a blast of plasma to hit the Skakdi, and luckily hit the guy dead on in his chest.Unfortunately, the white one had returned to the fight, and froze Oura's arms to the ground while he sent a blast of impact vision at the Toa. Oura took the hit to his chest, forcing the wind out of his lungs; he quickly melted off the ice holding him down, and unleashed a large blast of plasma to buy him some time to regain his breath. He leaped up onto his feet, and prepared to finish off the two as they did the same.OOC: Anyone mind helping this poor chap out?-Oura
OOC: Why not, I'm a bit stuck with Chimera and Black Mage doing nothing...IC: Knidia heard the commotion outside. Sounded like a fight. Hm, not on her watch..."Would you excuse me?" she asked her two travelling partners. She tossed a couple of widgets onto the innkeepers desk before speeding outside. It was an odd scene. Two Skakdi were ganging up on a Toa. That was bad. Skakdi were nasty when teaming up, they could use elemental powers."You three have one chance to explain yourself and walk away, or so help me I will throw the lot of you out and you can squabble on the beach." She folded her arms waiting for either an explanation or someone stupid enough to attack
IC: Kamaehu chuckled quietly at the matoran slipped out of view, then bounced back in again. For his part, he had been using his axe as a walking stick, stopping him from falling into the puddles. The toa of fire was not enjoying himself as much as Tanuka, but he was managing. He had adjusted his cape to cover his whole back, not hang over his shoulder, and that block most of the rain. The rest he could handle. He decided to venture a query to Agarin and Tanuka. "What are you two here for? Are you here out of allegiance? Morals? Boredom?"
IC Oura/NPC Skakdi - Ga-Koro - Fighting: Unfortunately, the two Skakdi were stupid enough to attack. "You go take care of... that thing, I've got this loser," the red one ordered, sending his white companion to go silence the... thing. The white Skakdi was puzzled by the appearance of the being, but he decided that taking her down would be easy.He held his double bladed battle axe forward, ready to slash if the being attacked first, but sent a blast of ice at the being. If this being controlled water, the Skakdi was in a tight place; but, ice equaled water, so perhaps he was not as so great of a disadvantage.Meanwhile, Oura fought against the red Skakdi, who was throwing fire at him left and right, going into a rage, basically. As Oura was pushed back slowly by the Skakdi (he wasn't about to stand around and get third degree burns) he finally had enough, and sent one straight beam of plasma into the face of the Skakdi. Oura would never forget the scream that the red being yelled, it was far too excruciating to hear, and then forget."You'll pay!" the being shouted, as he revealed a charred black face, with one of his eyes 'welded' shut. The Skakdi thrust his blade at the Toa, knocking him back, while cutting him across the chest as well. However, Oura regained his balance, and teleported next to the Skakdi, blasting his already-cooked side with plasma. The being fell over in apparent death, his one eye left open, and his left arm burned beyond recognition. Oura felt no sympathy for him though, other than being forced to do the bidding of a maniac. He turned to aid the other being in battle against the white Skakdi - who had realized his friend was 'dead'. As Oura ran to fight the second menace, he was blasted forward, falling flat onto the ground; his back burned like nothing else, and he was barely able to turn around as his attacker stood over him, preparing to deal the final blow to the downed Toa of plasma. Oura wasn't having it; he let loose the remainder of his plasma abilities on the Skakdi, charring the being to near death, and sending him tumbling over the edge and into the water. The red Skakdi most likely died, drowning to the bottom of Ga-Koro. Oura forced himself to get up, and staggered over to his weapon, picking it up, and making his way toward the secondary battle.OOC: Just want to get this over with, really. Even though I don't have any other plans for Oura at the moment.-Oura
IC(BM): Black Mage followed Knidia outside. "Skakdi. Ugh."
IC: The Rel opened its eyes. That was quite a long night. Although it did not possess the ability to sleep, it was well-rested. It went down to the first floor of the inn and ordered a breakfast. It wasn't big on eating, either, but he felt it was tradition for any traveler to have a morning meal at their night-lodging.Hm, the Vortixx was on his way over here. Oh well, all it wanted was to see the pain on his face and it would be on its way.It finished the meal and walked out into the crisp morning.Today was going to be a long day. For a moment, The Rel closed its eyes.
OOC:
IC: Hau blitzed along through Ga-Wahi, paying no heed to those he ran over. His crutch flew while his legs lurched at Kakama-speed. He had to get help.He found it. He didn't get it.Probably because he couldn't, considering it came back to him the form of a mystery toa he nearly tripped over while actually hitting the Fe-toa she had just rescued and flying into the water.IC: The drowned Toa's eyes suddenly opened. At first, the whole world was one blur for him before he began to refocus. The taste of salt still clung to his mouth and his body felt heavy as the wet cloak clung onto him. Instinctively, he began to sit up, but felt two things. One was the pain of accidentally headbutting Kriigata. The other was the intense pain of his now fractured rib. His groans of pain were inaudible and he fell back, clutching his bandaged chest. A grating sound came from his mouth as he slowly began to breathe. Ralz inspected the person who had just saved him. Kriigata looked like a male to him, and he propped his shield up on the sands of the beach. The wanderer struggled to get up, attempting to use the the shield as a sort of crutch but he couldn't bear the sharp pai in his chest. He fell backwards onto the sands once more and saw the flower from Ta-Koro wash up on the beach, still pristine. Ralz stared at it in wonder and tried to reach out to grab it.OOC: The story arc between Hau and Kriigata intrigues me. But RP-wise, Ralz was just passing through the villages.
IC: Cyrax + ArgentumCyrax walked along, Argentum trudging behind. He felt weak. And wet. And horribly tired. That would happen when you're forced to wear a backpack made of obsidian, while walking along a muddy and rainy road. He was missing his mask and his weapons, but he'd been given a Crystal knife temporarily. One where the handle was what he held outwards and the blade was what he held within his hands. Cyrax had told him that when he was allowed to use it, it would become a better weapon, but for now, it was stuck like that and any attempt to hit someone would result in him cutting his hand off. He would try to flip it but Cyrax would just rearrange it. As for Cyrax, she was still questioning if they actually knew where they were going. She was pretty sure that Kalama was just trying to use luck, but being the person who had sent the marines off in the first place, Cyrax needed to know where the VIP was, and how they were gonna find her was a bit 'off'. She walked ahead, and tapped a slightly muddy Kalama's shoulder.Cyrax: Hey, Kalama, do you actually know where to meet up, or are you just basing it on luck? And, for that matter, wouldn't it be better if we left Ga-Wahi? Why would they stray around this area?
IC:"Come in, Ramanox," Nokama replied. He entered her leafy hut. Nokama turned to face him from her previous task. "Training?" She inquired. "What sort of training do you seek?"IC RamanoxRamanox woke up, Today is the day, I must get training if I'm to accomplish my task. He left the Inn, and took a moment to look at the beach, Ga-Koro truly is a beautiful, Makuta shoul never get his hands on it. I suppose that one reason why I'm doing what I'm doing. He walked up to Nokama's hut, here goes nothing He knocked on the door. "Turaga Nokama, wise one, I have come seeking training. My name is Ramanox."
IC: RamanoxRamanox bowed before Nokama, "Thank you wise one. During my travels I have learned a great many things, but recently one thing stood out to me, Unity. Everyone seems to believe that Duty or Destiny is the hardest virtue. Then the two argue about which one is right. This bickering seems too prove that Unity is the hardest virtue. I see Toa on the same side argue with one another even the lives of many depend on their mission. The land seems to have been swept with chaos, the overall lack of Unity. How can we possible hope to defeat Makuta with this severe lack of Unity." "However there seems to be one thing in common with all those who had trouble with Unity but overcame their problems they had time and guidance. For the Toa Mata the guidance came from Gali and Pohatu, while the Matoran receive their guidance from the Turaga and leaders like Jaller and Takua. Many Toa these days seem to have time, but few seem to have guidance.""The Toa and the Matoran need guidance, and I mean no disrespect, but six Turaga are no longer enough to provide this guidance. Thus hoping that perhaps you could train me in the Virtue of Unity, enable me to guide others, so that you would no longer be on your own. I may not be the most deserving to be trained, but we have to start somewhere, why not with me?""Elder and Wise One Nokama, I Ramanox, ask you, to train me in the Virtue of Unity, so that I may Unite others, who in turn may Unite even more."
OOC: Just Hau and Kriigata intrigue you? -mutters indistinguishably-Also, I'm making up his diagnosis as I go along, and since I know the health care is so perfectionist here in the BZPRPG...IC - Sucogu - Oh karz the worldLooking over the Toa, Sucogu kneeled down. Raising two fingers to eye level, he forced electricity through his very veins. "If I'm not wrong, he's been starved of air. Meaning, his heart is having issues pumping blood, almost like it's asleep."He jabbed his fingers into the toa's ribcage, sending the shock through him. Sucogu really hoped this worked."Sorry." he mumbled, preparing another shock. His fingers came down again, performing another shock.Oh yes, because Sucogu knew all about this. He would never make any kind of mistake, like thinking during a spine would help you, or bruising your spleen was visibly possible.
IC:"My child," Nokama replied, "Unity is, as you have said, a necessary virtue, and in times like ours, perhaps the most important. But for all its importance, Unity is the most subtle of the three. There is no way to train in it, or practice it. It is not a skill, Ramanox, but a communal commitment. Strengthening a group is nothing that can be taught, for the strength you strive to create is only as powerful as the least willing participant. "To instill unity," she continued, "one must instill hope, and purpose. If you seek to create unity, make clear the urgency of the situation and the importance of standing together. People will unify when they see that it is necessary. "This is all that I can tell you," the turaga finished. "The rest you must learn and discover for yourself as challenges meet you. Experience is the best and only teacher."
IC Ramanox"As you say, Turaga. However if you can not teach me, is there somewhere I can begin my quest to learn?" Ramanox asked. And maybe I may also learn what it is to die for Ramanox thought to himself.
IC: With the speed of her Kakama, Knidia dived under the ice-blast, rolled along the lilypad, and lashed at the Skakdi with her tail. The power of the muscled limb coupled with the speed it was moving at was enough to slam the Skakdi to the ground. His spines pierced the lilypad, sticking him fast in place as Knidia used her spinning momentum to right herself and throw more power into a punch right between the Skakdi's eyes. The swift blow had enough force behind it to knock him unconscious. As the guards began lifting the Skakdi to drag him to the cells, Knidia turned to the plasma Toa, still on her guard just in case."So what was that about?"
"We are leaving Ga-Wahi. Just not by boat which would have been faster. However if we had taken the boat, we may have missed any sign of a trail IF they did come through here." Kalama said splashing through a puddle. "And no, I don't know where to meet up. Remember these are trained SpecOps Marines. If they don't want to be found then you will never find them. The only way to get communications is by predetermined drop points or send another Ghekula unit after them. Normally they would but we were activated under the Trident Directive Protocol. The objectives must be fulfilled using any means necessary. At which time the Unit Commander answers only to the Turaga and the unit answers only to the Unit Commander. In this case the objective was to protect our source of information. As the Unit Commander I still answer to Mother so I can't really 'go rogue' like my unit can. Despite now being in command my Helm Major will follow my last order which was to get going, hide, and wait for me to catch up after I dealt with 'Hurricane Argentum' there."Skirting a pool of water he said, "Kali's a solid Marine who knows how to follow orders. She doesn't not however answer to the Turaga since she isn't the Unit Commander. That's yours truly. Since the objective was to protect the target at all costs they will do so by ensuring they are hidden and that anyone who sees them does not live to speak of their existence. Right now only I can countermand the 'Dead Matoran tell no tales' so Marines can safely deliver any communications Mother needs to send me. If I'm not there to reign them in, they may very well start killing their own sisters who attempt to approach. While that's bad enough think about this, innocent traders and other Rahi Hunters may get caught in the crossfire as well as other armed force patrols. They will not attempt to distinguish friend from foe in order to attempt to conceal their location. I'm the only one they give any pause to in order to give me a chance to retake control. If I screw up they'll kill me on the spot and continue. They won't even listen to Mother ether.""So If you haven't been paying attention here's what's at stake," Kalama said vanishing into the tall grass where the Toa could only track him by the rustling movements and his voice. "You have 8 well trained soldiers on the loose who will not be friendly to anybody else and give me only one chance to recall them attempting to keep a VIP out of the limelight. If given the chance, yes, they will kill anybody from random merchants to even the Turaga to prevent anyone from getting within spitting distance of their target. We need the target, ALIVE I might add, to shed some light on just what the Karz is going on here lately and maybe clue us in on why another specific target was murdered not too long ago."Exiting the tall grass, Kalama beat the wet grass seed off him best he could. "I have a general idea where they went but as I've told Tanuka, you can't find something that grew legs and walked away when your back was turned can you? Even if we try to hit land where they landed that trail will be colder than Kopaka's heartlight. No from where they landed there's only one direction they can go. If we cut across and head them off, chances are slim but they would come to us. Even if we missed them we're not the only ones keeping an eye out. There are several Marine sites they may hit to get supplies which will quickly tip me off on a hotter starting point then where they landed allowing us to find them faster. So for now until I hear something we'll probably just have to get lucky."The misty rain started to clear up."Well... um..." Tanuka seemed unsure of how to put this but she tried anyway. "I-I-I decided to try and embrace my Toa nature. I'm helping Kalama and he's showing me how to be one..."
IC: Kamaehu nodded briefly to Kalama. He was beginning to want to see these marines in action. Than Tanuka spoke, trembling. Kamaehu smiled at the response, but tried his best not to come of as teasing. "Embracing your Toa nature. Learning to be a Toa. That's good, we have too few who actually take the time to learn what it means to be a Toa."
"...Yeah... I mean it's not like I wanted to be a Toa. I used to be a simple Ga-Matoran and then became one. I didn't ask for it." She looked at her hands and forced them to stop fidgeting. "I mean... I know what to do and stuff. But I never really wanted to be a Toa. I was happier living the simple scholar life. Why me though? Why not one of the Marines or Kalama? I mean Kali would have been a great Toa. Or Maya, or Yuni, or-or-or... I don't know... it's silly isn't it? Here I am simply playing at something that somebody else deserves. Why not Kalama? He's done all manner of things, even saving Toa.""Well I wouldn't say I really SAVED them. I MAY have had a hand in pointing to a solution." Kalama shrugged. "After all I'm just a Matoran.""Just a Matoran! Kalama you survived the Second Great Tarakava Raid and carved out a life for yourself in the roughest wild lands of the island! You've treaded where no one has ever set foot before! You've encountered Rahi that we never knew existed! Without your influence the Marine Corps wouldn't be half the force it is today! You've fought things no Matoran had ever thought possible to survive against!""Stop it Tanuka you're gushing. All I did was survive and teach others how to survive."Tanuka sighed. "All that and all I did was learn. I'm not really cut out for this...""You done?""Done?"Kalama rolled his eyes. "All the boo-hoo and 'woe is me' stuff. You get it out of your system because it's quickly getting on my nerves. Listen Tanuka it's only as hard as you let it be. If I can do it, any Braka with two brain cells that talk can figure it out, much less a fully capable Toa of Water like yourself. The only thing stopping you from accomplishing anything is your inability to act on what that Toa Warrior part of your brain is telling you to do. Part of the reason we're heading north. We're going to go see a Maha Herder friend of mine in Po-Wahi and hopefully get you over that little Hoto hill you turned into Mt. Ihu."
IC(BM): "Hey, I'm just wondering, what just happened?" He gestured to Knidia and the toa of plasma. "Both of you! Two skakdi! Boom! One's dead now!"
OOC: I feel like my main character is slowly starting to fade in my eyes as the freshness of DJ passes her by... Time to up the anté, GIRL!! :PBTW: thanks, Sucogu, for realizing lightning was perfect for jumping the nervous system and the body. XDIC: Kriigata -- finished with her sudden cpr on a random toa"What was THAT about," Kriigata muttered, more to herself, as she leaned into the grounded toa's view. Wiping some of the sparkling ocean water off her mask, Kriigata asked;"Hey, do you have a name?"
IC: The protosteel hook shot out and bit into a hut. But it couldn't stop a matoran with its protosteel blade being used as a brake in such a substance. Hau was going in--And down--Into the water-SPLASH-Submerging. He had remembered to close his eyes and mouth. But otherwise, the toa was simply floating in a womb-like state. The blinded martial artist explored, testing the ocean with his limbs.I love the water. At least that doesn't change from Ta-Wahi to Ga-.Hau now kicked upwards. While he loved to swim, the mystery and Sucogu would be waiting.
IC: Ralz jolted back to life with the first shock, his eyes almost opening before his heart stopped as soon as the second jolt traveled through him. Thankfully, Sucogu's last shock jump started his heart. He sat up as he best he could, enduring the sharp pain in his chest. The wanderer looked up to Kriigata and then at Sucogu. He couldn't understand what the black and blue toa was saying, but he pulled off his drying cloak. Ralz's exposed neck was a mess of scars, with a large jagged x-shaped scar being the most prominent.OOC: Sucogu has the honor of killing someone and reviving them within a few seconds.
IC: Zealokan'Payiges! Payiges!' He called into the canopy of trees below from his Gukko above. 'Payiges, please!' They'd been searching for the missing Toa of Lightning for hours now. If they didn't find her before nightfall, she might as well be dead.IC: PayigesShe decided to go back to the shore, to make her easier to spot for anyone searching for her. A whisper in her ear, from her darker self. They're not coming for you.' She spun around in a rage. 'For Mata Nui's sake, would you shut up!!!' She launched a bolt of lightning at Shadow-Payiges, but it went through her and made a rather large hole in the tree behind her. 'Silly little girl.' The dark one raised a finger, and shocked Payiges with enough voltage to knock a Muaka off its feet. To both Payiges' infinite shock, Shadow-Payiges doubled over in pain in synchronisation with the actual Payiges. 'GAAAH!!! You little stone rat!!!' 'Easy for you to say, I can hear the wind whistling through your skull!' The noise attracted a Toa of Sonics strolling along the beach. Shadow-Payiges quickly made herself scarce. Payiges quickly realised what was happening. She found it hard to speak at first, but see found her voice. 'Hey...... HEY!!!! Over here! Help, please!!'
IC: Cyrax + ArgentumCyrax realized that the other 'Murdered' target was the one her ally was in the middle of protecting before a servant of Makuta decimated around 4 Toa just to get to Tamaru.
IC (Dekuna): Over the sound of the waves, Dekuna heard a sudden yell from in the trees behind him. He raced after the sound, and then heard cries for help. He ran faster, tripped on a low branch, then got up and ran on. Soon enough, he came across a toa of lightning, and stopped up short."Payiges?" he panted. Even if he had found the wrong toa, which he did not believe he had, this person could still use some help.
IC: Payiges'Yes! Yes, that's me! I'm Payiges!' She stopped short. 'Wait a tick, how do you know who I am?!'
IC: Eamerzon:"Because Zealokan told us, broken mask.." Eamerzon breathed down Payiges shoulder. She had been searching for her while the others were doing misc. Payiges would be startled by the sudden appearance of Eamerzon.
IC: "Zealokan sent me." he replied simply. "We've been out searching all day. You didn't think he would abandon you that easily did you?"
IC: "You know, he's right. You can't get hung up on how this shouldn't have been you. It is you, you have to accept that." Kamaehu was starting to like Tanuka, if only she would trust herself. "Actually that rant reminds me, I need to be on the lookout for someone. What Koro are we going to if you don't find a trail?"
IC: Payiges'No, no, of course not! Oh, thank you, thank you so much.' She pulled Dekuna into a tight hug. As she pulled away, she noticed something at his waist. 'What's that thing?' She asked, pointing to the pistol-like device. Then Eamerzon jumped out at them. 'Gah! Don't suddenly appear like that! I thought we were done in Ko-Koro.'
"If we don't find any trail? Probably check up on the other members of the Company starting with that buzzsaw maniac Hafu in Po-Koro." Kalama replied.
IC(Agarin): Agarin looked at Tanuka. Looks like she needed another pep talk, maybe one not as hard as Kalama's was. It seemed to him Tanuka responded best to direct kindness. "Listen, Tanuka," he said, putting his hand comfortingly on her shoulder, "This is now. It happened for a reason, you were the best choice if Mata-Nui chose you to become a toa. You can't get hung up on the 'what ifs', 'should ifs', and 'if onlys'.OOC: Invisible cookie goes to the first person to tell me the anime I paraphrased.
IC (Dekuna): "This is just a signal. I'm meant to send it up if I find you." He did "And now Zealokan and the others can see exactly where we are. They should be flying overhead before sunset." He stowed the spent flare back at his waist. It wouldn't do to leave litter around on such a nice beach. "So what is it between you two?" He asked. "All I've heard is a mess, and if you really do want to kill each other, please don't do it while I'm around."
IC Oura - Ga-Koro - Talking: Oura sighed in relief as the white Skakdi was dragged away by the Ga-Koro guard; he turned to the being who had helped him, "Thank you for that, they were both out to kill me," he said, leaving out the fact that they had been sent by an angry employer who also wanted him dead.IC: With the speed of her Kakama, Knidia dived under the ice-blast, rolled along the lilypad, and lashed at the Skakdi with her tail.
"That he is... I probably overdid that," he said, glancing toward the area of water that the red Skakdi drowned in. "I'm Oura," he said, sheathing his sword, and observing the two beings who had come to his aid. Normally, he would have left anyone unless he had seen profit in helping them, why these two did not was mysterious to him... probably just two heroes, saving lives left and right.-OuraIC(BM): "Hey, I'm just wondering, what just happened?" He gestured to Knidia and the toa of plasma. "Both of you! Two skakdi! Boom! One's dead now!"
IC: ZealokanHe saw the flare go up on the beach. 'Yes!' He went to fire his Flare Gun to signal that he was alright, and hoped that Havon would follow suite. He raised the device in the air, and pulled the trigger.... the Flare Gun exploded, severely burning his hand. 'GAAAAAAAAH!!!' This scream of pain sent Mistweaver into the panic, and she went zooming around in all directions. 'Woah, woah, settle down, girl!' Piloting a Gukko with one hand is not an easy task. Finally, he got Mistweaver under control, and he headed for the shore of Naho BayIC: Payiges'So here's the thing, we met in Ko-Wahi when we were going after these Cyber-whatchamacallits, and... something happened that made me fall unconsious, so Zealokan took me back to the village to get some R&R. Then Eamerzon stalked us back to the inn in Ko-Koro, we had a little rumble, and then she broke my mask.' She opened the satchel at her side, showing them the two halves of her former Kanohi. 'And I may have, ummm, pointed a sword at her throat.' She turned to the Jovak. 'Look, Eamerzon, I'm sorry, I didn't mean for all that to happen. I can only ask for your forgiveness-' She was cut off by the flapping of wings. She looked up at the Gukko. 'What the-' The rider jumped from the Gukko whilst it was still 10 metres in the air, and landed in a crouch, his face still hidden.Zealokan stood up with a grin on his face. A wide-brim hat would've completed the look. 'What? You think I would just leave you out here?' 'You came! Oh, I knew you would! Payiges pulled Zealokan into a deep kiss that seemed to last eternity. They both pulled away a short while afterwards, their cheeks flushed red. 'So....' 'Yeah....'
OOC: Are we actually gonna find the VIP somehow, or is it a useless quest? Or did you message Tucky/Nuju, since Tucky removed the VIP from game?IC: Cyrax + ArgentumCyrax continued walking... until Argentum catched up.Argentum: Where are we going?Cyrax: We're trying to find the person you chased away and the group of people defending her.Argentum: Why?Cyrax: You and I, we're getting information about... stuff. You left Makuta - you'll be an asset. The others - Tanuka basically follows Kalama, who is searching for the marines. The other two, I don't know.Argentum: I never said I would help you.Cyrax: But you want to, deep down inside. I can tell, you know.Argentum:.... That is.... true. But, there are other servants of Makuta.Cyrax: Echelon. May you shed some light about him?Argentum: He usually works sometimes with others, such as Vican, and he's one of the top servants. He's a Toa of Magnetism, like me, but he is also a necromancer - he can take control of a lot of things - he can force our bodies to simply die, and he can use our dead bodies to kill others. Cyrax: Weaknesses?Argentum: Nearly none. He won't let you get close, and he can fly. So can his servants. If you engage him in close combat, he'll just use magnetism to take control of you. If you fight him long range, you'll be busy facing his zombie minions.Cyrax: Everyone has a weakness. Him?Argentum: Apart from tiring out, which would be rare seeing as the speed he takes someone down is .... amazing... You need to be able to counteract the magnetism. The zombies, they toll him, so if you keep him occupied doing that for a long time, perhaps it will be easier to take down. But the main thing is to counteract his magnetism. I can do that. Toa of lightning can also do that, provided that they launch a perfectly aimed bolt..Cyrax: So, we need to keep him focused on his zombies, and counteract any attempts of using his magnetism, so we can easily attack and get to him.Argentum: Yes.
IC: Eamerzon:"Enough with the lovebirds! Why did you exactly try to do that? Is something bothering you?" Eamerzon questioned, intent on getting an answer.
IC:MihaMiha noted a flare gun going off. She headed towards the source.Odhran"Ohh! Look at that!" Odhran said excitedly. "A flare! Let's go!" he cried, heading towards the flare.
IC: HavonHavon arrived, having flown over as soon as he had seen the flare. "Ah you found her! That's a relief." Havon said landing.
IC (Tooroko): Having failed to find a doctor in Ga-koro to join their party, the Vortixx headed back to the ship with the other pirates and set sail towards the coast of Naho Bay where the flare had been set off. From his experience so far on Odhrans crew, he guessed that the adventurous life of a pirate was not all it was cracked up to be.IC (Dekuna): The two toa looked very pleased to be reunited, and Dekuna was happy for them. However, they were still out in the wilderness, and in their curent position, they were vulnerable to attacks by rahi on the land or pirates rom the sea. His training as a bodyguard told him they needed to leave immediatly and find a more defensible location, but he overcame it, content to wait and let the others catch up on what had happened.
IC: Zealokan, Payiges'Oh yeah-owwww-there's also the matter of this.' He groaned as he pulled his badly burned hand out from under his opposite arm. 'My Flare Gun back-fired, exploded in my hand. Turns out this mask isn't always the most reliable thing.' He grinned before saying 'Please, no one touch it, or you'll find that your hand won't be in good condition either.'She gasped at the sight of his hand. 'You sure that's gonna be alright? I mean, maybe we should go see a doctor or something.' She once again turned to Eamerzon. 'I don't know why I attacked you like that on the Infernavika. Something came over me, it's like I... wasn't myself.' She heard Shadow-Payiges cackling in the back of her mind. 'Look, I think we just need to start over, wipe the slate clean.''Guys, I think I'm going to faint here.' He couldn't keep his eyes off his hand, all burnt and charred... much like the Ve-Koronians when Makuta and his Hordika were done with them. He forced the memory out of his mind. 'Dekuna, you're the designated pilot tonight. I don't wanna be falling asleep at the saddle. After we've found someone to heal me hand, we'll head back to the inn. I think we all need some rest.'
