IC: Melody-Hallway
"Um, well, I've h-h-had a l-l-lot of p-practice."
IC: Kamanau (Snake) - 4th Tier, Malebranche
I'm plunged into all the sensations and stimuli in an instant, pain being the most noticeable. I stagger with the shock, my own surprise rippling outwards from the centre of the pool of my mind, reaching its edges and...mixing with the other two pools. It feels like the other rahks are standing right next to me, shoved against me, embossing their shapes into my consciousness. The familiar panic returning like it never left, I realize that Jayar and Shield, or whatever mix of the two 'stands' beside me, can read every thought that passes through my head...I'm drifting, colliding with them. I can't stop it. I'm being pulled towards them by the rapids as the mental ponds turn to violent whirlpools with my frantic attempt to swim. I desperately try to pump their psyches away from mine, putting up an imaginary barrier to divide my mind from theirs as much as I can.
Unfortunately, my will isn't very strong.
IC Xi
The two hadn't noticed him. He stood, scratching his head, trying to decide whether or not to intervene or quietly back away...
IC Doubt
"We best be going then." Doubt said, looking at his watch. "It's getting Later. You lead?" He looked towards Vlad.
IC: Canvas - Hallways
"Have you now?" Canvas nodded appreciatively. Her mind was already whirling with the possibilities of learning an instrument. It would give her a better insight into Rahkshi like Melody. "Where... ah... where would one find a... 'flute?'"
IC: Meldoy-Hallways
"I d-don't know. I g-g-got mine a l-long time ag-go, b-before I c-c-came h-h-here."
IC: Canvas - Hallways
"Could I... see it, maybe?" Canvas asked, gently holding out a hand.
IC: Melody-Hallways
Melody thought it over for a little bit but decided there wouldn't be any harm. "S-s-sure." She pulled it out and carefully handed it to Canvas. "B-b-but be c-careful."
IC: Canvas - Hallways
Canvas snatched up the instrument and began scrutinizing it from every angle, none too gently. It was really just a tube with a bunch of holes in it. Easy to make. She could put one together in the Cauldron if she wanted to.
IC: Kamanau (Jayar) / Malebranche (Fourth Tier Warehouse)
The Kaita feels... wrong. The portion of its psyche one might approximate as Snake is clinging to barriers and privacy, but these things have no place in a Kaita. They leave its fundamental Unity incomplete, unstable. Indeed, Kamanau fears dissolution.
So they reach through the barriers, towards what was Snake, and reassure him: he has felt nothing they cannot sympathize with, for they too will have felt it; nothing he has said or done will alienate them, for it was they too who said and did it. There is nothing to fear from them now, for they are one: the barriers can come down. Indeed, they must, or the Kaita will fall instead.

IC: Shark / Gym
Seriously!? This was worse than Zubarahk; at least there he'd had something to work with. You couldn't do anything with "what."
So, apparently unwilling to waste effort on such an idiot, he just gave up. "Never mind," muttered Shark disappointedly, before heaving a sigh and turning away.
- only to turn abruptly and without warning back to send the flat of his massive sword for Spindle's head, a blow more than swift enough to strike the unwary undodged and powerful enough by far to knock a hearty Rahkshi unconscious.
OOC: Just to clarify, the flat part of the blade is not teleportive.
IC: Edge
"You want that barbarian's arms then just take them your self!"
He attempted to push past bonegleam.
IC: Bonegleam - Hallways.
"This isn't about him," my voice was hoarse from shouting, as I once again stepped into his path, "This is about you thinking you can just wander onto my patch and do whatever you want. Who the karz do you think you are?"
IC: Edge

IC: Bonegleam - Hallways.
"This isn't about him," my voice was hoarse from shouting, as I once again stepped into his path, "This is about you thinking you can just wander onto my patch and do whatever you want. Who the karz do you think you are?"
IC: Edge
"You imbecile. I am Edge. And I don't have the time for this."
He attempted to fake a step to the right then quickly attempted to dash to the left.
IC: Melody-Hallways
Melody tensed up clearly worried about her possession.
IC: Bonegleam - Hallways.
"That's not an answer!" I shrieked, sending my swarm of Niazesk to attack after he successfully skirted around me. "I was here first! you don't just get to waltz in her and act like you own the place!"
IC: Canvas - Hallways
After a moment of inspection, Canvas handed the flute back unharmed. "Cool," she grinned.
IC: Vlad / Forest
Vlad nodded. "Off ve go, zen..." He switched into flight mode, and started into the sky for the selected village.
IC: Revenge-Forest
Revenge quickly followed Vlad
IC: Melody-Hallways
"Th-thanks," Melody said, a small smile appearing on her face.
IC: Canvas - Hallways
Canvas' own grin brightened as she saw Melody's. "There we go! Tha wasn't so hard, was it?"
IC: Helkyrie
Location: Forest > Skies
Helkyrie took off after Vlad
IC: EdgeIC: Bonegleam - Hallways.
"That's not an answer!" I shrieked, sending my swarm of Niazesk to attack after he successfully skirted around me. "I was here first! you don't just get to waltz in her and act like you own the place!"
Edge ran. Hearing the swarm of insects he spun around and fired a high pressured stream of poison at them which would hopefully push the bugs back.
"I don't own this place karz brain. Happy?"
He flipped the scapel in his other hand.
IC: Bonegleam - Hallways.
"This isn't over!" I snarled, calling my bugs back to me in the face of the poison spray. "Their bones are mine! Mine!"
IC: Chantant
"Good, good... I say quietly, the gears of my mind working.
OOC: others later.
IC: Melody-Hallways
Melody smiled a bit bigger. "N-n-no, it w-wasn't"
IC: Bonegleam - Hallways.
"This isn't over!" I snarled, calling my bugs back to me in the face of the poison spray. "Their bones are mine! Mine!"
IC: Edge
He ran away past a corner.
"Did that imbecile follow me?"
IC: Bonegleam - Hallways.
"I can still hear you, you snivelling brakas!" I hollered, moving cautiously in the direction of his voice.
IC: Bonegleam - Hallways.
"I can still here you, you snivelling brakas!" I hollered, moving cautiously in the direction of his voice.
He quickly slipped into his dorm which was in the hall.
He thought to himself "He'll never find me here."
IC: Bonegleam - Hallways.
I turned the corner, seeing no sign of the brakas. I hadn't heard the sound of any running footsteps, so unless he was a silence rahkshi or had switched to flight mode, chances were that he'd hidden himself in one of the dorm rooms.
"If I ever see you trying to steal my bones again, I'll gut you, stuff you, and add you to my collection!" I stormed off down the hall, keeping an eye out once again for any potential donors.
IC Xi
"Very nice," Xi said, admiring the flute of Melody's.
Immediately two hands flung over Xi's mouth. Oh you bloody idiot.
IC Spindle
Spindle hadn't taken his eyes off of Shark, and as soon as Shark turned and swung Spindle had jumped back, but accidentally let go of Tear's knife, which being hit by the sword, was now headed straight for its owner. "Y-you're trying to kill me!"
IC Doubt
Flying upwards, he was slightly above Vlad's flight path, barely ahead of Revenge. Maybe it would be nice to catch some fish and try to cook them later.
IC: Edge
He sighed.
Then he got to business. He took out the water vials and began scrubbing his hands and his dorm, cleaning traces of blood. Of course the blood couldn't be 100% removed but at least now it wasn't as visible.
OOC: Wow... My 2500th post in this topic... What a milestone.
IC: Xara - Alleyway.
I sat, and I thought. So many regrets, so many bad choices. Was joining this rebellion one of them? I still wasn't certain. I wanted a new life, a chance to begin again, but was it really worth it, given all that I'd left behind?
IC (As Liliate): "We have a guitarist, someone who can play the clarinet and a drummer. How many more instruments do we need before practice begins?" The rahkshi of laser vision asked. "We should go find some music sheets, papers and pens or both to make some music sheets in the meantime as well."
Ic Kat:
Well, I guess they had things well enough in hand.... "Where did Xara get off to....?"
IC: Shark / Gym
In fact by a happy coincidence the dagger impacted the teleportive coating on Shark's sword, sending it merely clattering to the ground behind Shark's right, rather than the even less probable coincidence that it went hurtling towards Tear.
"I did warn you this was the result of noncompliance," Shark pointed out exasperatedly, unleashing a laser blast at Spindle's chest, "twice, in fact... but somehow you failed utterly to comprehend." At the same time he hurled Faithful at Spindle's shins. "And I haven't the time for repeating myself to imbeciles." Rapidly he lunged again, his lengthy blade swinging in a vicious arc of quite considerable reach (making it rather implausible another backwards lunge would succeed Spindle in clearing it) aimed to cleave the skeletal Rahkshi in two at his flimsy waist.
OOC: Again, just to be sure it's completely unambiguous, Shark is sending the bladed edge of his sword for Spindle's waist, not the teleportive edge.
IC Spindle
As Shark attacked, Spindle moved to the right to avoid the laser, but was knocked off his feet by Faithful. The sword, however, ended up in Spindle's shoulder right before he hit the ground and refused to leave.
A horrific hi-pitched series of screams followed.
IC: "So we have someone who is a lot more dangerous than normal roaming around the school..." This didn't bode well. Whoever they were they clearly knew what they were doing, making them a far worse threat than a random lunatic. There was nothing quite as menacing as a psychopath that planned ahead.
"I don't suppose you could give me a name or description? And while I'm going to assume coming to me means you don't want to go to Icarax, I'm going to advise you do that. The more people know the more chance we have of catching them."
IC: Kewlah:
Overhearing this conversation terrified him. "But, I don't want to be victim of an insane Rahkhsi. I'm gonna go to my room and hide until this all blows over and the psyco is caught." he thought as he scurried away
OOC: Kewlah open for interaction.
IC: Malady (Gym)
Eyes narrowed as I scan the room once more, this time from the vantage point of the air, I spot a particular Rahkshi, wiry and black all over, who appears to be trying to leave the Gym, even though Icarax is blocking us from leaving.
"Assassin," I snarl, landing behind him as I unsheathe my mace. "You've got two options. Jump in the pit now, or have Icarax drop your broken body in there. Choose wisely."
OOC: Just to be sure, that Rahkshi is Optis.
IC: Call - Nynrah Forest
After scarcely a half-hour had passed, Call decided it was time to go. Better to fly sore than have a Matoran stumble across him. But as his body unfroze and he rose and stretched, he found much of the pain was gone. It would be back shortly, of course, but by then he should be back at the Academy.
Call leapt into flight and started back the way Tesla had gone. It shouldn't take long.
IC: Canvas - Hallways
At first, Canvas had just dismissed it as another passerby. But as the prickle on her neck of someone watching her lingered, she began to suspect a little more. And so when the four-armed Rahkshi finally spoke, Canvas jumped just a little before whirling around. "You... ah, need something, buddy?" she asked in an accusing tone.
IC: Shark / Gym
In ordinary circumstances Shark would definitely have had a silence field up long before now, but for once permitting his quarry's anguished screams to proliferate served his purposes. They informed the room that he was not to be messed with, that when he came for you, it was better to just submit to the pit than fruitlessly fight your fate.
Still, he wasn't done. Spindle had previously been unconscious and yet still not been eligible for elimination by Icarax, so his current condition was probably far from significant enough. Determined to deliver an appropriately drastic injury, Shark quickly wrenched his blade free of Spindle's shoulder with little care for the pain that might inflict, then equally quickly sliced towards for the wretch's skinny midsection once more, again intent upon severing him in two at the waist.
That wasn't (sadly) by any means a lethal blow, since it wouldn't touch his Kraata, but it should be plenty debilitating enough to merit the fool's official removal by the headmaster... so long as this slubberdegullion didn't somehow manage magically to dodge again.
IC Spindle
Magic was an unknown word to Spindle. He preferred the word roll.
And considering they go best with butter, he did just that, rolling backwards to avoid the massive sword-
Ka-krunch
Perfect. The sword had driven into his now-exposed back and broken the Rahkshi equivalent of a spine. More ear-piercing shrieking, not really from pain this time.
IC Xi
Uhh....... "Uhh......."
Needless to say, this was not one of his best moments.
IC: Sliver - Gym.
A satisfying crunch echoed through the gym, and I turned towards the sound. The assassin Recherche had already killed, the one who'd somehow cheated death and crawled back out of the pit, was now broken on the ground, smashed by Shark's sword.
"Well, that takes care of him," I mused, knowing that at any moment Icarax would be removing the defeated assassin from the assignment. Hopefully for good, this time around...
