IC:
(Ledzel)
Ledzel looks toward the others, still on the ground. The sharp ice that slammed into his side had left him weak and tired, but he managed to rise to a standing position. "Hopefully the venom won't soak throught the plants," he adds. He limps toward the others as he looks around for any Kanoka disks he could salvage, but the last two had shattered against the plants and ground. "If anyone's going to a Koro, could you buy me a few Kanoka disks?"-Mef Man
IC: Alfon"I think that would be a good idea. Voriki and the other person would have to get them. Speaking of which, who feels like replacing Madrihk? He's in no shape to travel so he'll need a replacement."I for one am not going.
IC: AntumI was trembling like a leaf in an autumn gale. What was 'boo' supposed to mean? Was it a threat, or something else? Needless to say, I didn't have a grasp on the concept of humor. Finally, I brought myself to raise my head, staring up at the avian before gulping and speaking. "You... you kill me?"IC: CadiasCadias leaned against the tree, bored, keeping an eye on Navayak. Not like he was doing anything. "I wonder what Vrana is doing... I suppose I'll know when he gets back. No point in worrying over it..." Then, he realised he was talking to himself, and trailed off into silence. "That was... awkward," he muttered finally.
I.C. Vompran"Actually, The poison would kill-shrivel the plant bag. I don't think that would work.I guess I could leave-go to one of the koros. Just recap-remind me of all I need to job-do while I'm there."Vompran picked up Ledzel's disk that he had shot at Madrihk. It had a rather large dent in it."Will this strait-fly?"
IC:
(Ledzel)
"I say we start the three sided command right now," said the Toa of Stone. "Unless some one wants to take full command. I will, if no one else wants to."Ledzel looks toward the broken disk. He shakes his head no as he replies,"No way. That thing's too busted to even fit in the launcher. Unless some one can get that dent out." -Mef Man
IC: "How far from the lake do think we are?" Kethrye asked no one in particular. Hefocused, activating his mask for a brief second. " Looks like were still a couple kio off." He said after he lost focus on his Mask ofVision. " We still have a way to go."
IC: Vrana"Yeah... no. I don't eat stuff when it's still alive."Vrana commented, staring at the strange creature. It reminded him of something...Himself.
IC: Alfon"Looks like we're in comand, Ledzel, since Vompran's replacing Madrihk for now. Unless you guys are well rested enough to travel back to the Koros, I think we should continue our journey to the lake. But when you do travel to the Koros, try to recruit as many people as you can, get some ressources, the kind of things that should get done while we're building the settlement."OOC: This gave me an idea. Since we're recruiting people for the new settlement I figured some of us could use this oppurtunity to make some new characters. I probably will by then.
OOC: And your idea for a character gave me an idea for a character.
IC:
(Ledzel)
"Yes, let's go ahead to the lake. I'll stay there and create the beginnings of our settlement if somene else will go gather more men."Ledzel looks toward Alfon as he says,"And, where is everyone going to gather beings?"-Mef Man
OOC: Glad to hear it
IC: AlfonAlfon chuckled at Ledzel's question and tapped him lightly on the back. "Isn't obvious? Back at the Koros, fool. Where else would we get our residents and resources?
IC (Madrihk)"Forget about the poison," Madrihk said, "judging by its effect it's more dangerous than I thought. While it did incapacitate me it also turned me raving mad. We can't have our enemies spewing energy blasts blindly about. In any case, I got some bottles of it already from Xa-Koro. Don't risk touching the stuff on the ground, use those."He clutched his forehead, dizzy from his mask loss and recent beat-down."I... agree that I am in no shape to lead right now. I will still go to one of the Koros and get a replacement mask. I'd say Ta-Koro would be best. The forgers there can make one for me."He looked at Voriki."You'll still go to Le-Koro, I hope," he said, "even though I need someone with me to Ta-Koro. That leaves only four of you guys here, but I hope that will be enough given your power to easily create shelters out of stone, wood and plants."OOC: Try to recruit player characters in the villages later. The village will be more thriving when more players get in on it. ![]()
IC: AntumI blinked in surprise. Maybe... maybe he wouldn't kill me? "Course not. That why you kill, eat after dead!"I resisted the urge to squirm as he stared at me. I wasn't used to attention, but I suppose I should have expected it.
IC('Voriki'): "Yessir." He teleported towards the treetop settlement.-----------"Goods. I need them. Know where I can get some?""D, you don't need to speak like that. I'll give you some goods from my personal storage, if you answer a few questions of mine. First, what happened to your eye?"D sighed. The Innkeep was a nosy one, that's for sure. He began to tell the story from the beginning...the murders.IC(Love, Mardi, Pourge): "Get some rocks! We can at least help to hold the Ramaswarm off for a while!" Several matoran who had been captured by the swarm were now helping the escape. Pourge had set fire to one of the walls, and it was spreading fast."After this is done, we'll need to keep that fire from raging out of control. Mata-nui, as if anything else could go wrong." Towers of plants raced up to intercept the Rama as Mardi's rag-tag group of archers took our the masks on them.OOC: Finally, time for D Plotline Number 2! Wow...I'm realizing this is my most active character. He's involved in 3 or 4 plotlines at this point.
IC: AlfonMadrihk still volunterring to travel to the Koros surprised Alfon but he did not say anything. He pondered on what Madrihk had just told them."Okay, hold up. This means you'll be leaving, plus someone accompanying you, Voriki as well and someone else, leaving 4 people to look after the settlement. Ledzel and Vompran will ned to stay to build the settlement and I'm already schedueled to help them. Trakuda, Kethrye or Conteriam will have to leave (sorry, Vompran but you'll be staying) and another will have to accompany Madrihk."Talk about a lot of information to take in..."I think it would be best if Kethrye or Trakuda accompanied you Madrihk while the other goes off to another Koro. Conteriam here has been rather lazy and I don't trust him to come back if we send him away..."OOC: Sorry Thomas but you haven't been exactly active. Looks like this is where we part ways, fellas
IC: Vrana"No, I don't kill things. I find dead things, and eat them. And you don't look dead."Vrana explained to the little creature."What are you?"
IC: Antum"You eat old kills? But.. meat smell bad, not taste good! Why you not hunt, eat fresh meat?"I frowned, looking down at my feathered body, taloned hands and feet, and wings. "I not know. Like Little Ones, but also like hunting birds." I looked up at him. "What you?"
IC: "I'l go with Mandrihk." Kethrye said. " Who is traveling to what village, anyway?" He asked, glancing around at the group. " It looks like Voriki has already left towardsLe-Koro, so it looks like Mandrihk and myself with be traveling to Ta-Koro." Ta-Koro, great, just great. Kethrye thought, the Toa of Ice was not fond ofthe fire-village.
IC: Vrana"I don't see anything wrong with eating dead things, even if they have been dead for a while. It's not much different from fresh meat, and a lot easier to get."He didn't even have to look at himself to already know what he was."I'm an Avian."
IC: Antum"But old meat make you sick! That why I hunt, eat birds, small Rahi." A frown crossed my face. "What you eat? You eat everything, only some things?"I frowned even deeper. "An Avian?" Once again, he looked at himself. "You think I might be Avian too?"
IC (Madrihk)"Good. Thank you, Kethrye."The Toa of Ice looked through his backpack and handed the two ropes and a few Volo spheres to Alfon."Here, take these. You'll probably need them more than us if Makuta's troops show up."He turned to Kethrye."Voriki already left, but I think we should stay with the group until we reach the lake. It'll be safer to travel along the mountain's foot than straight through the jungle."
IC: Vrana"It doesn't make me sick, I'm fine with it. I've never been all that good at catching smaller Rahi, and they're father slippery little creature. My hands aren't built for grabbing into little Rahi."He looked at his hand, flexing the fingers, with taloned tips. He could grab and hold items with ease, but his claws were not good for stabbing small Rahi."I don't know, I;m the only Avian I know of."
IC: AntumI couldn't help but feel hopeful. "If I Avian too... maybe there be others?"I cocked my head, considering his point of view, that hunting was odd. "What you favorite prey?" I didn't have a better word to describe food.. I'd always hunted, after all.
IC:
(Ledzel)
"Yes, who is going to which Koro?" asks the Toa of Stone. "I was wondering if we were going to recruit anyone in Ga-Wahi. Maybe we could get some females that know how to cook. But, I'm not saying anything against Alfon's electricity cooking."-Mef Man
IC: Vrana"Maybe there are, somewhere out there... But I'm the only one I've seen, and I've not heard any rumors about any others."He scratched the feathers on his neck, flexing his wings."I like to eat plenty of things, I don't really have any favorite foods."
IC: AlfonAlfon took the rope and volo spheres gratefuly and appreciated that Madrihk and Kethrye were to accompany them to the lake."You would like that wouldn't you, Ledzel? Gawking at the ladies while you're supposed to be working." Still, it didn't seem like such a bad idea to have a few cooks around the place. Alfon also realized he hadn't had a romance in a long time as well. He pushed the thought aside to avoid being distracted."Anyways, as far as I know, Voriki's off in Le-Koro, these two here are going to Ta-Koro and Trakuda could go wherever pleases him, am I right?"
IC: Divan pointed, "I just sensed the mercury I got inside our killer appear over there.""Got it." Miraul answered as he darted out of the tree and towards the inn, catching the attention of a nearby blue Toa as he did so. Divan and the blue Toa followed close behind.Miraul zipped into the inn at Kakama speed, firing bursts of magnetism at D's Kanohi. Intended to pull his foe's Kanohi off, the blasts were very powerful.Divan appeared as well, stopping next to the doorway, powers activating as he attemped to hold D's armour in place, using his elemental powers.
IC: Antum"Food.." I repeated, trying the new word. "Is that another word for 'prey?'"I smiled slightly. "That explained easily. Little Ones, Tall Ones, Big Teeth, they all no see me. I leave them alone, until recently. I've become.." I searched for words to describe what I felt. "Hungry.... to be around others. Little One Village much strange, with many Little Ones and Tall Ones. It greatly interest me. I watch, see you, Tall One, Big Teeth."
IC:
(Ledzel)
"Hey, I'm just saying," replied the Toa of Stone. "I'm sure you'd want a Ga-Toa all to yourself as well, though." Ledzel smiles at his fellow Toa before looking toward the spheres and rope. "These should come in handy.-Mef Man
IC: Vrana"Food is what you eat. It's like prey, only dead and being eaten."He grinned slightly."Yeah, those two are Cadias and Navayak. If you want, I could introduce you to them."
IC: Alfon"Quiet, you." said Alfon but he stilled chuckle. "Anyways, it's not like I'd have to try, unlike you." said Alfon as a wide grin broke out on his face which soon turned to laughter."Well then, lets get moving shall we? I'd hate to stick around to see more rahi gather up."OOC: Fast travel to Laka Pala?
IC: AntumI frowned as I thought the word over. "So, food is every prey, even plants?" I shuddered at the idea of eating plants.I stared at him, eyes wide. "You could?" Then, I stared at my feet. "I not know.. never met a Tall One or Big Teeth before."
OOC: Fine with me.
IC:
(Ledzel)
"You haven't seen me in action, baby!" says the Toa, a large grin on his face. "You should see this Stone head around the ladies; you'd be surprised."Ledzel stretches a bit before looking down at his side. "That's going to leave a pretty nasty scar..." he mutters. The ice had penetrated is armor and had striken his flesh, causing a pretty good ammount of blood to be lost. But, he knew that the blood should come back soon; all he had to do was take it easy for a little while."Yes, let's head out. I'd race you there, but that ice messed me up pretty bad."-Mef Man
IC: Vrana"For the Matoran and Toa yes, but for me, plants are not food at all."He grinned, flexing his wings wide, humming a tune to himself."Then what do you have to lose by meeting them?"
IC: Alfon"I'd beat you anyways seeing as how I have my Calix. Sure it helps me do a bunch of fancy tricks but don't forget that it keeps me at the peak of my physical abilities, meaning I'm in top shape."(Several hours later)"I think we've made it. Talk about a long walk."
IC: AntumMore new words! "Matoran.. Toa? What they? They prey? Prey eat plants.."I listened as he made an odd noise, like Rahi birds made. I wondered why he made that noise, but didn't comment on it."Good point... what you name? Can't just call you 'he.' I Antum."
IC:
(Ledzel)
"You still alive back there?" asked Ledzel as he looks back at Alfon. At the end of the long trek, Ledzel had taken the lead and passed up Alfon. He pretended like he was fit and ready for anything, but, in truth, he was exhausted. He hadn't eaten since breakfast and he hadn't drinken much of anything. He hoped that they could maybe find a freshwater lake somewhere. The Toa of Stone looks toward the large lake in front of them, a look of hope and exhaustion on his face. "Please tell me it's fresh water."-Mef Man
IC: Vrana"Toa are the tall things, sort of like me, Matoran are the short ones."He kept humming to himself, creating a tune in his head. He just needed to think up a name for it. Flight of The... something. He'd think about it later."Nice to meet you Antum, my name is Vrana."
IC: Antum"Oh.. that what they called!" I wondered how many other words I didn't know."Nice meet you, Vrana. Why... why you making that noise with mouth?"
IC: Vrana"What, oh I'm just humming."Vrana commented, not realizing that Antum likely had no idea what humming was.
IC Jokar - Le-Koro - Talking to Kirgon: "Alright, now where to now?" the Toa said, looking at the piece of bamboo tucked under the Matoran's arm. "Is that a... map?" he said, feeling inside the bamboo with his power of plants.OOC: Would Jokar be able to feel the map as well? Isn't that plant on some kind of level?IC: KirgonThe Matoran slipped through the streets, back to where Jokar had last been seen by the Matoran of air. Clutched under his arm was a hollowed out piece of Bamboo, one side sealed up, the other with a rock lightly wedged in it. Inside the Bamboo was the map. The second copy of the map Kirgon had gotten in the past few days. It wasn't cheap, but he had it. Kinika had ruined his last map, that Toa of Iron owed him fifty nine widgets.
IC Klastio/Garth - Le-Wahi Cliffs - Sightseeing: Klastio sighed, "Garth, I think the Toa here can hold down the fort while I'm gone. And by gone I mean off with you three, if these two get out of hand, someone will need to put them in their place, and I know you could never do that... without weapons, at least," he said, reminding himself how good Garth was in a fight with the right tech. "That'd be great, we could use a good fighter like yourself," Garth said, watching as Tahuva came running back up the hill, rage on his face. "Whoa, Tahuva, let it go. You threw him down first, and he got you back, now you two are even," he said, trying to prevent a fight. OOC: So in a few posts, we can head off to Ta-Koro. -GarthIC: Tahuva was sick of the bickering too. He picked up Dervian. "See the nice view up here? I do too, so tell me something I don't know. The view down THERE." He threw Dervian down the hill, watching him roll up a giant snowball. "That'll hold him until I melt him free." Tahuva saw the clouds. He shot a flare through one, dispersing it and making it rain. "That is awesome." He smiled and sat down, staring at the view. "You know, this is nice without DERVIAAAAAAAAN!" He had been knocked down the other side of the hill by Dervian's wind blade, and was using his shield to roll down the hill safely. He reached the ground and turned off the shield, causing the snow that had collected on it to hit his head. "OW!" He climbed up the hill to give Dervian a piece of his mind.
