IC: Omega
Omega clenched his fists. "Oh if you want to know you'll have to beat it out of me." Omega didn't want to hurt Snakey but if he was defending Exxan then he was most definitely in his way.
IC: Fang
"I suggest we keep this between us. Exxan is one of Phogen's boys, and everyone in this school seems to be on her side." He shot a glance at Omega, daring him to speak up.
"One of the Twins is a Rahkshi of Silence. Judging by the names, that would be Silencer. By the same logic, the other could be illusion. There is little for us to work with there..." He glanced at Squid. "...if it comes to violence."
But it would. Fang could guarantee that.
Turning to Snake, he spoke louder for all to hear. "Run back to your herder, Snake. This doesn't concern you."
IC: Squid
Squid nodded.
"That's correct. They both possess... interesting weapons. Would you care to know about them?"
IC: Burst
From the spot where he was stuck in the hallway, Burst could hear others in the library speaking. Suddenly he heard a name: Exxan. The name of the book assassin.
Wanting to join in, Burst tried and failed to pull his hands from the wall.
"F*************k!!!!"
At this point, Burst was desperate enough to cut off his hand if it meant getting out. If, you know, both hands weren't stuck. As Burst calmed, he tried to channel his rage into strength. With a final pull, the section of the stone wall imprisoning his hands gave out, and he was free.
...
Entering the library, Burst approached the group of rahkshi discussing their revenge on Exxan.
IC: Raptor
"Sucks for us, only what... two? Of us have special weapons..."
IC:
Walking towards the library, Hashan noticed a Rahk with his hands in a wall yell a curse loudly, and then crashing his hands out of the wall, before entering the library.
Well, that's new. Haven't seen him before. Is swearing a new power nobody told me about? He thought to himself.
He then entered the library behind the swearing rahk.
IC: Fang
Fang looked to Squid, intrigued. "What kind of 'special weapons?'"
Another Rahkshi, this one of Anger approached. Fang had seen him a few times, but never near Phogen. He was a little bit berserk in combat, but that could prove useful. But Snake was still standing there, watching the group slowly form and discuss. Fang was reasonably sure he couldn't hear any of the plans, but they were drawing too much attention.
"Hold that thought. We will discuss this later. Meet me on Nynrah tonight; there is too much attention here." In his readings, Fang had found that a certain combination of Kanoka disks could give his sword the heat resistance he required, and they could only be found on Nynrah. He could get his own "special weapon."
IC: Raptor
"Of course. The more people we have, the bigger chance things'll go wrong."
IC: (Snakey)
It wasn't usual for Snake to get angry, but now all the tiredness and pain and anger of the last few days piled up, and...
Surprisingly, his voice was quiet, but concentrated: "I have had it up to here with "go back to your master, your herder, your owner". I've had it up to here with meatheads acting tough, and schemers acting smart."
His ruby red eyes glowed dark and crackled with energy.
"Omega, I know what you're doing, and Fang, I will go back, and Fang, it does concern me. And, Omega..." He smiled again. "You're in deep trouble."
Snake shifted away.
IC: Squid
"Exann himself has a blade called Blossom. It is normal, except that if he lands a strike, it releases flashy flower petals to disorient you. Silencer has a chain weapon thing called Legion. It sucks up light enough to render even a Rahkshi blind. Illusive has a sword called Serpent-Fang that can have the blade come out of either end of the hilt. I may have gotten Illusive and Silencer's weapons mixed up, but the important thing is that they have them. I have... this."
Squid unsheathed his sword and swung it around.
"Looks normal, right?"
Squid held it upside down and put his hands on only one side of the hilt. The sword sprung open into a bladed staff. Squid did some moves and switched it back into a sword.
IC: Omega
"Well ######. I'm ######. You want to find me you can find me in my room. That's if Exxan hasn't found me first."
IC: Fang
The powers of these weapons sounded... dangerous, but they could be planned for.
Fang scowled at Snake. "We can't have him speaking to Phogen or Exxan. Come on," Fang still had to lean on his sword, but he had a mission, and revenge was burning in his eyes. He stalked after Snake, hoping his new little group was following, but the hall was empty. Snake had already teleported away. Fang hissed in disapproval.
"We need to strike immediately. Snake has ensured our window is short."
OOC: Sorry, misread that.
OOC: Didn't he teleport away?
IC: Raptor
Raptor followed behind the white Rahkshi, hoping his scrawny frame would add at least a little bit of intimidation to his friend's already intimidating stance.
IC: Omega
"I'm gonna die." Omega chuckled madly. "I'm gonna dieee..... I'M GONNA DIE!"
IC: Fang
"ENOUGH!" Fang roared from the hall. His burning gaze was fixed on Omega as he walked back to the group. "Prove yourself worthy of a Rahkshi, you coward! Snake may have left, but Exxan doesn't know yet. We have numbers. We have motivation. We have a plan. We will teach him a lesson whether its against one or one hundred!" Fang used every bit of his height to stand above the rest, gazing down at each in turn. His eyes blazed through the darkened metal of his headplate.
IC: Raptor
Raptor shrunk back a little despite the fact that he knew the white Rahk quite well at this point.
IC: Omega
Omega laughed. "Oh I don't think you understand. They will send them to ME. No-one else. ME. Because I am the traitor. And Exxan has no reason to spare me. Call me a coward all you want but I'm just stating the truth. I'M GOING TO DIE!" He laughed hysterically.
IC: Fang
Fang considered his apparently mad comrade before sweeping back a hand and hitting him across the face strong enough to knock the bulky Rahkshi to the floor. His fist glowed with plasma for good measure.
"You're already in this. You've been seen. You can either stand down in shame, or rise to the challenge! Today is the day you reveal yourself as a coward or a strong Rahkshi warrior!"
IC: Squid
"Please stop all of this. I'm going to Exxan right now. Alone. You'll know where I am. If I don't return within ten minutes, come after me."
Squid walked off towards Exxan's dorm.
OOC: Ten minutes can be hard to determine in BZPtime. I'll let out a OOC announcement if things get hairy.
IC: Revenge
Revenge picked out a book and turned to leave the library.
IC: Omega
Omega kept laughing as he hit the ground. "Oh I have a plan. Let them come to me. Let them find ME. And then attack them once I die. FUN FOR ALL!" He said, tears of laughter and sadness at the same time coming out.
IC: Fang
Fang reeled around to face Squid. "Where are you going, you traitor? I knew you were Phogen's scum all along, but I was hoping you'd have the intelligence to see sense! To see justice!"
IC: Omega
Omega got up, sobbing now. "That was my only ticket to being liked. I it up. I it all up, Fang. I think it's fair I pay the price."
IC: Squid
Squid stopped and looked back at Fang.
"Traitor? I am allied with no one. I cannot betray anyone, for I do not join alliances. All I do is make friends. I will talk to Exxan as a friend. I will always take the path that causes the least harm. Sometimes a blow to someone's pride and reputation can be worse than a blow to the head. This is one of those time. And I know Exxan- if a fight breaks out between us, I can always play the guilt trip and make him feel bad and show him the results of his actions."
With that, he resumed walking.
IC: Fang
"You're fools! ALL OF YOU!! None of you have the spine to stand up and fight! I'll finish Exxan myself!" Fang walked off and pushed past Squid before stopping to grasp his side. His face was twisted in a terrible combination of pain and fury. He leaned on his sword before dropping to one knee. He was breathing hard, still trying to get up and move, but his beaten body wouldn't allow it.
OOC: Gotta go for a bit. Feel free to assume Fang collapsed and just go on your way.
IC: (Snakey)
It took some time to locate even Phogen, while Exxan was nowhere to be seen.
The rahk was apparently a level three now, but Snake still rushed in, appearing directly in front of Pho with an emerald burst of light.
Out of breath, he said: "Pho! Ican'tfindExxan, butbasicallyOmegaandsomeothersareplanningtoattackhim! Om'sabloodytraitor!"
He calmed down slightly, saying: "Om...is...planning...to attack Exxan with some cronies. He's a bloody traitor!"
IC: (Wraith)
The camera of the mind looks at the mist-shrouded scene of Phantom from above, slowly falling, speed increasing, increasing, increasing, it's metres from the ground, swoops round and forwards, parallel with the ground now, skimming along the narrow streets, the buildings whizzing past on either side. It slows again, coming to rest at a marketplace, Fe-Matoran busily selling goods or services. The mist seems to thicken and coalesce into a form...there is a moment of absolute silence, it seems, and suddenly a figure is standing in the centre of the square. It towers above the matoran, who don't seem to have noticed. The figure stands still for a second, then fades from perception once more.
IC: Dodge-256
Dodge was restless. They couldn't sit in a cot all day. And as much as they wanted to sleep, they had been unable to rest. So they decided to go for a walk.
Several hops, a fall, and a crawl later, Dodge had acquired for themselves a pair of crutches. They would have to do until they got their new leg. "Okay, so I put these on the ground, then launch my foot forward..." It would take some getting used to. Best to practice in the infirmary for now.
IC
"Trying to attack Exxan or Phogen head on would be extremely painful."
The rubbery-rahk with the impossible to remember or type out name appears to Fang and his ever-dwindling group, where had he come from? It was impossible to tell, perhaps he had managed to stretch the very light around him to remain unseen. Or stretched himself around the light. Regardless, it was unclear where he had came from.
IC: Omega
Omega cackled even more madly this time. He left towards the causeway to find Phogen and the others. He saw Snakey with them. He yelled from a distance. "COME AND GET ME ! I CAME ALONE! COME BEAT ME UP!" With this he produced an extremely high pitched laugh madly. It was clear he was completely out of his mind.
IC: Green
So their group had failed. Granted, Mahrika and the Snake-Faced Kid seemed to have deserted, and... Ack.
At least she had gotten her hands on a nice whip.
Landing in the school, she inspected her personal acquisitions, nodding as she walked through the halls.
"Who was it that was interested in the slop again? Ah... Right. Squid." She went to look for him.
OOC: Pay attention to the switching gender. Tis key at times like these.
IC Phogen
Phogen put his hand out, casually pressing it against Hoto's shoulder, holding the Rahk up and preventing a collapse. Whispers and questions swirled in the crowd, Phogen offering an occasional, unexpected but not unwelcome answer. Looking at the Rahk he was lightly supporting with a quick analysis of her dim eyes, Phogen figured blindness was possible. Giving Hoto a calm pat on the shoulder, and a disarming, charismatic smile, Phogen said to her "If you ever need a group to call your own, let me know. I love seeing new, beautiful faces in our little organization." Hoto picked up on something odd. He had modulated his voice to make it's location more precise. A small token of friendship often went a long way, after all.
He then addressed the deacon, his hand giving a small, assuring brush against Hoto's shoulder, as if dusting off the dodge-rahk's proximal uncertainty, before releasing. Phogen said to Zealot "With a guide as capable as yourself, it would be both a pleasure and an honor." He nodded towards the pious creature, internally marking how the illusion of equitability was an excellent detoxicant for jealously.
As if on que, Snake arrived to speak the news. She listen carefully. Now Exxan was a powerful ally. Someone who was to be respected. And also someone who was able to take care of himself. Phogen was about to idly dispatch a guard or two to deal with a foolish action like this, confident her numerical advantage or cooler heads would prevail when Omega burst our of the school.
The small crowd parted as the madman spoke. Phogen only frowned and raised an eyebrow. She imperceptibly shifted her feet, watching Omega. Her arms folded behind her back in a military grip, hiding their summoned sound bolts from the trifle before her. She looked at the long distance between them, arming her launcher with a flick of the wrist. Omega would have to full tilt sprint for a least a few dozen seconds to close to melee range.
Phogen then, with the causality of discussing the weather, uttered his response.
"Omega, if I found you and your foolishness worth my time, you would already be in the infirmary."
IC: Raptor
Raptor gasped. This was all getting out of hand. He had to do something. With a quick look at the collapsed Rahkshi and the rest of the cabal, he burst out running to follow Squid.
IC: Omega
Omega looked at Phogen loading the launcher. "MUHAHAHAHAHA! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! WHY CAN'T I BE LIKE THIS MORE?! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!" At this point Omega was enjoying being insane. "DO IT PHOGEN! PULL THE TRIGGER! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
OOC: Wow, Omega's goin' seriously insane. I originally considered a ending like this for Raptor, but now...
OOC: It's truly entertaining to write about someone as complex and suicidal as Omega. =3
IC Phogen
Phogen shook his head. "Like I said, not worth the trouble."
He turned to his left to face part of the crowd, answering a silenced question about the armor modifications, continuing on as if nothing happened. He noticed one Rahk, a molecular disruption variety watching Omega. She kept track of the Rahk's expression, knowing it would be a dead giveaway if Omega was dumb enough to try something. The murmur, this time more in awe and wonder than anything else resumed, many warily watching Omega.
IC: Omega
Omega then began to sob... and laugh. "Wwwwwhat the is happening? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
IC: Revenge
Revenge was on his way to the Infirmary when he heard shouting from the causeway. He walked outside to see what the trouble was.
OOC:
Okay, I'm once again lost. Once I'm able to check more often, I should be able to keep up, but until then I'll probably have discrepencies.
IC:
Abyssium, once healed left the infirmary and went to the library, just in time to see some group disperse.
OOC:
Open for interaction. Scratch that, begging for interaction. And still trying to figure out how to set up the Abyss.
