BZPRPG: Ta-Wahi

Xia, Zakaz? Where are these islands?The Ga-Matoran tries to push the thoughts of the island behind her as she looks toward the border of Po-Wahi in the distance."Well, I haven't exactly kept track. I'd say itleast thirty or so years. Not as long as you have been...killing beings," she barely managed the last few words, but they did expell from her small lips. "It's been rough living off of my goods, but it's proved to be deceint living. I meant to sell some goods in Ta-Koro, but I'd rather not stay any longer. Maybe I can have better luck in Po-Koro."Ga'mal smiles as she looks toward the approaching border of Po-Wahi."Almost there."-Mef Man

IC: Ghar-Knel could feel the change in humidity. He smiled. He didn't like long trips. But Ga'mal's company was a consolation, however meager."Well, my career has supported me very well," he stated. "I know it sounds a bit gruesome, but it's what I was trained to do. I didn't have much of a say in it. Xia isn't a very kind place. Of course you don't know where these islands are. I have a map."The Vortixx pulled out the map, showing her a few key islands. He pointed that Mata Rekim, Solaris's island, was way off to the east. He laughed to himself. "It kinda looks like a person. Ah, but there have been stranger-looking archipelagos, I'm sure."That's when he heard the crunching of sand under the Ussals' feet.Sand, thought Ghar-Knel. We're here. By Makuta's backside I hate sand.Ghar-Knel to Po-Wahi...

Ga'mal looks at the map and shakes her head in confusion."So, there are other islands besides Mata-Nui." she mutters to herself. The Ga-Matoran then looks up to see a sign that read:

"Here we are."OOC: Ga'mal and Ghar-Knel to Po-Koro-Mef Man

IC: AurixAurix ran forward, grabbed his Shade Makers, and put them on. "Do I look awesome?" He grinned widely at Fiva. "You don't need to answer that. Clearly, we must go to Le-Wahi with all speed! The voices have been telling me this, so it must be done!"

IC: JLJL woke up at the sound of someone asking him about a person matching Pirok.JL: Oh? Y'mean Pirok? Oh, yeah! He just went into the room..... after he thoroughly ignored me.But why was he asking? JL, cautious, decided to watch what he did next. But, still, what good would it be? And plus, he could hear somebody chatting about another person.... who had utterly decimated him.Echelon.JL knocked on the door, hoping that somebody would answer. He turned back to invisible.JL: Alright. I don't know who you are or what you're here for, but I know that if I need any information, I won't get it out of you by beating you up. So, I'm going to let you see Pirok now, and I'll be a nice person. But anything I feel is threatening, and you may find yourself with a sword on your neck.Why would random people ask for Pirok?

IC:FivaFiva ran at full speed for Le-Wahi. "To Le-Wahi then!" He then promptly fell face first on the ground, inches away from some nearby lava.

IC: AurixAurix chuckled, running to catch up. "The Voices are saying that you should be more careful! We must get to Le-Wahi in one piece and not burned!" He offered Fiva his hand.

IC:FivaFiva took Aurix's hand and brushed himself off. "I figured that out by myself." he said with a chuckle. "So... Off to Le-Wahi!" he then took off at high speeds again.Odhran"Well it was nice talking to you." Odhran said. "Hey Draebe!" he called to the navigator as he started towards his ship. "Let's go to Ga-Koro now!"

IC: AurixAurix took off after Fiva. He used his staff to vault over small objects as he ran after the Toa. "The Voices are suggesting that you wait up!" he called, still running. "They are saying that Le-Wahi is full of beasts, and that a helpless Toa like yourself might get eaten if you are left behind!" Then he frowned, and muttered, "I don't think that came out quite like they said it.."

IC(Jeni): She walked the rest of the way in silence. That is, until, the jungle surrounding the Kini became visible. "Hey...I think I see the Kini's spire-y things."

IC:Fiva"Okay!" Fiva called, slowing his pace a bit.

IC: AurixAurix caught up to Fiva, which was harder than it sounded. Fiva had longer legs, after all."So, just to recap... we are looking for a yellow being with an attitude! Easy! Now, the only question is if it's a male or female, which species it is, and what its real name is! Piece of cake!" The Matoran, despite what he was saying, wasn't being sarcastic at all.

IC:Fiva"Exactly!" Fiva said, meaning what he said also. "The Great Elder Ones will guide our paths!"

IC: AurixAurix grinned widely. He may not have learned much from Father Navayak, but he was doing a great job of spreading word of the Great Elder Ones!"Come! There is no time to be wasted- I think the Moon King is Father Navayak's favorite King, and it would hurt him greatly if he were to die!" Aurix chattered away as he began down the path that lead into the jungle.OOC: Aurix to Le-Wahi

IC:FivaFiva continued down the path that lead to the jungle. All the while singing "The Lion Sleeps Tonight."OOC:Fiva to Le-Wahi.

OOC: Hey, HUBERT! I'm INTERACTING... FYI. ;PIC: Kriigata"Do you know where the closest bar is?"The graveled voice of a hooded and dark figure asked as he strode towards Kriigata and surrounding merry misfits. Her stance shifted slightly, and her hand crept towards the weapon on her back. Something about dark, hooded figures gave Kriigata a pulling sensation in the gut and a desire to fight, or to hide behind the others and run away. Behind her eyes her brain ran full-torque in an attempt to analyze the figure approaching. "What's 'bar'," Kriigata muttered to Sucogu under her breath.

IC: Hau noted the black-armored toa's discomfiture and felt fit to compensate. Wobbling ever-so-slightly, but finally shaking off the last aftereffects of the overexertion, he stepped forwards boldly and with his signature grin. The toa's hook twitched, having returned to his hand."Over there," Hau said easily, loosening his chain and jerking the hook towards the bar across the square casually. "And y'are?"

IC (Merror)Merror closed the door firmly behind Pirok and Torv."Put succinctly, he's bad news," he replied. "As you said, he's a powerful Toa of Magnetism - a dangerous element at the best of times, and Echelon knows how to use it. But that's not all."Merror's look was dark."He's a Necromancer. You saw him with those corpses - he uses a Tryna to reanimate the dead. It takes a special level of twistedness to use a mask like that. Necromancers are a dying breed here on Mata Nui, thank the Great Spirit."

IC: Kirbati: Ta-Wahi:Good Jeni. We just need to go a little more... Kirbati said as he began to see a magnificent spires of Kini-Nui.

IC (Weta): With the spires of the temple within sight, Weta doubled his watch for infected rahi or other dangers that might lurk near Makuta's lair."How close to the temple is this tunnel we are going to collapse" he asked Kirbati"OOC: If we're within sight, Weta to Kini-nui.

IC(Jeni): "If my thinking is right, the Kini-nui is right above the Makuta's lair."OOC: Jeni to Kini-nui

IC: The size of Ta-Koro's gates seemed to overwhlem the worn traveller with a sense of wonder. Ralz placed his hand on a stone wall next to the entrance, feeling the gritty exterior of the stone. He seemed to almost lose himself in thought, thinking of how much these walls have endured. He turned his head, surveying the village. Ralz put a hand to his scarred throat before putting his hood on. He kept his head low as he walked out into the village of fire, hoping to find something interesting.

IC: [Rannin]"My name is Rannin," said the Iron Toa. "And I thank you for your assistance."That was when he winced. It seemed as if he did not properly fix his arm, so the pain was still present. This meant that he had readjust the metal again, which was a rather painful and annoying process."You should look away," he said, addressing the people he had approached.Rannin took off his cloak, allowing him to more easily access his left arm. However, this also gave away what he looked like, and the others ended up seeing his crimson eyes and scarred body. Ignoring the stares, he applied his power, causing the metal weaved into his disfigured and twisted arm to disappear. He hated doing this, but he took comfort in the thought that he wasn't fixing his legs. A pulse of energy emerged from his right hand, which directed his power into the arm, weaving layers of metal around it. Soon enough, he was finished, and sighed in relief.

IC: KriigataLook away? Kriigata was transfixed by the image of the being in front of her. How much wasn't those silvery vine-like pieces of metal? What flesh there was seemed bumped, bruised and pushed from the inside out. Hideous, yet somehow intriguing: a horror one couldn't not see."What, are you?" Kriigata asked, her manners obviously lacking in any faculty.

IC: [Rannin]"I'm pretty sure I'm a Toa," Rannin said, noticing the look of horror on the other being's face. "But don't worry, only both my legs and my left arm are this hideous and disfigured."He gestured to his lower limbs, which were the same colour as his arm.

IC - Sucogu - OutsideThe Toa rushed forward, nearly shaking the being's hand, but deciding against it."You of course you are! What she meant to say, was, 'Who are you?'"It was an obvious attempt to make up for Kriigata's lack of well-behaved mannerisms, and the Toa most likely knew it. Sucogu stepped back to stand by Kriigata, towering over her and Hau. He wasn't about to ask this guy about his wounds- that just wasn't proper. If he wished to explain, he would.

IC: [Rannin]"I told you guys before," the Iron Toa replied. "My name is Rannin."

OOC: Sorry for ignoring you, Krayzikk, I sorta missed your post after reading Hubert's earlier.IC (Mita)"Even I caught that," Mita said with a smile, pulling a single note on her guitar's strings, "and I got a headset on.""Thank you, by the way," she said, directed at Krayzikk.

IC:Fiva Fiva took Aurix's hand and brushed himself off. "I figured that out by myself." he said with a chuckle. "So... Off to Le-Wahi!" he then took off at high speeds again. IC: Pirok"I see..."Pirok heard someone knock on the door. He then answered it."Hello?"IC: Invisible"Yes... I am looking for this 'Pirok'. He is in there, you say?" Invisible had realised this would not be as easy as he had expected. "Alright then, nothing threatening. Got it."Pirok then opened the door."Hello... Pirok."

OOC:My bad! Sorry.IC:OdhranAs he was heading out the door, he was stopped by someone asking if they could join his crew. "Maybe." he responded. "What talents do you posses?"

OOC: Yay thanks. :)IC:KironKiron answered"I'm a Toa of Fire, and this scimitar I have here is quite good. I have quite some experience and, most importantly, I do not have sea sickness. As you can see, I just recovered from a fight with three Muaka and my armour is still steaming from a fall into a lava pool."For emphasis, Kiron drew his Curvesword but his hand slipped and he dropped it."Ahh... my bad."OOC: You can control Kiron for a while and he can ask some basic stuff. Nothing complicated. And then you fill him in on his questions. Thanks.

OOC: ... Does he have any other skills other than fighting?IC:Odhran"Can you do anything other than fight? Can you sing? Can you dance? Can you tell jokes? Can you Cook? Can you repair our ship? Can you... Um... doctor?" Odhran asked wanting a bit more than just fighting experiences. "But Lava resistance is a good thing. I think..."

IC(Draebe): "Unless we run into an underwater volcano, I don't see a reason for it being a good thing."

OOC: Infernavika and crew from Ga-WahiIC (Lohkar)As the Infernavika passed the coastline of Ta-Wahi, Lohkar could make out the beach where Tahu was said to have first appeared, and the great cliff that was the site of an ancient and mysterious telescope. Even Lohkar wouldn't try to steal that artifact - partly out of due reverence, and partly because he'd tried in the past and ended up being hurled into the sea by about twenty outraged Toa.

OOC: Katuko, this character here will be someone you can recruit in Ta-Koro for the ILS.IC: EnyaEnya lay in her bed, tired and groggy. She wasn't feeling like herself at all, muscles aching, stomach gurgling and a headache.Karz, I think I overworked myself yesterday...I think I'll take a day off...

IC (Infernavika, off the shore of Ta-Wahi):"Ta-Wahi," murmured Raknar, as if it were a curse. "Home of the airhead architects who thought building a city in a volcano was a good thing. I imagine it's hot as Karzahni in there -- if the Matoran haven't all roasted, they're addled beyond repair."The black rocks slid silently by the Infernavika; they were absent for long stretches, revealing a pristine sandy shore. Apparently Ta-Matoran enjoyed lava-surfing too much to even visit the beach. Either that, or the ecosystem here was more tightly intertwined than usual, a fact rendered nearly impossible by Makuta's takeover and the corruption his shadow powers had left upon the island."We aren't stoppin' here, are we?" Lohkar was at the wheel, staring straight ahead to the horizon. Like some hero out of a movie. Raknar rolled his eyes; that was typical Lohkar, acting the part of the honorable gentlemen even though he was a pirate with an accent.

IC: Tellus, from Ga-WahiTellus had busied himself by healing the burn marks that had appeared on the ship, cursing the Toa of Fire under his breath as he did so. That Toa had to be out of his mind to attack something as fine as this ship! Oh, well, they were gone now. "Ahoy, Cap'n, that was the last o' the scorch marks."

IC: Tiras: Infernavika:"How I hate these fire types-- always surfing on lava and bragging about kohlii. Bah!" Tiras said as he looked out upon the stern.IC: Kirbati: Ta-Wahi:Kirbati nodded in response and followed Jeni.OOC: Kirbati to Kini-Nui.

IC Yasurek (from Ga-wahi):Yasurek had finished picking up the spears he had lost in the previous battle. With them secured in his back sheathe he glanced out at the beach they were passing. Tahu had arrived on this beach all those many years ago. He had been a symbol of hope to matoran across the island, and the rest of the toa too. Now though, this was just a beach, albeit a nice-looking one. In the distance the smoke that continuously rose over Ta-koro could be seen. It was not the kind of place Yasurek was interested in visiting. Much too hot and smokey for his tastes.
