IC: MekrofThe Skakdi of Gravity observed the machinery that kept the lava floe from barring the path to the lightstone cave. All of that lava, built up over Mata Nui knows how long... Might it be able to destroy Onu-Koro as the villagers know it? Only one way to find out. But Mekrof's hand did not go to his pistol. No, he simply walked away from the tunnel and back to the underground city. The opportune moment had not yet come. Once he confirmed the kills on those two pesky Toa and their traitorous Skakdi, or they arrived in Onu-Koro, that lava floe was going to be kept the way it was..."Perhaps I should see if the mines have any weak spots," he mumbled. "Just so that I have something to do."He walked back down into the mines. In the path was a tiny little Kofo-Jaga. He kicked it."Get out of my way, Rahi," he growled. It chirped. Then the tiny little creature bit him in the leg. He screamed and pulled out his Xian-tech pistol. BANG! One shot to the head. And the Kofo-Jaga was down. Now to return to the problem of the mines' weak spot... He turned around.A whole family of Kofo-Jaga were sitting there. It seemed they weren't happy about Mekrof's short temper. They swarmed around him. He fired the rest of the six shots in his magazine, but had to reload. In the time he changed clips, he was swarmed."AH, MAKUTA'S FOOT!" he swore loudly. "SOMEONE GET THESE RAHI OFF OF ME!" He fired a few shots blindly. "HELP! HELP!"He didn't like the feeling of the Kofo-Jaga crawling and stinging him.Ah, he didn't need help. He could take these little beasts on without his gun in the first place. Or maybe not, it all depended."OW!" He screamed backing off, picking the clingy beasts off of his body. "This just got real."He deftly fired the rest of his magazines, killing a few more Kofo-Jaga with ease. But that wasn't enough...
IC(Savulg)
"D-don't say that, Walker," Savulg says nicely. "Listen, I'll go to Onu-Koro and get us some food and some medical supplies and I'll catch up with you. Okay?" -Mef Man
IC: Walker"Whoa, we're all going. I want to go! I've never seen Onu-Koro!"
IC(Savulg)
"Good," he replies, smiling. "I don't like being alone..." The Vortixx looked at a nearby sign that showed they were approaching Onu-Koro."Well, here we are."-Mef Man
IC: Garme"Death by listening to me? Impossible without an outside affect upon you."She remarked, still walking."Good, I'm getting something to eat, even if Walker is all ready and determined to starve."
IC: WalkerWalker stepped into the village of Onu-Koro and was baffled by the new discovery for him. It was like stepping into an entirely different world, having a village of such magnitude built underground."Wow..." was all that Walker was able to manage.
IC(Savulg)
"Wow," repeats the Vortixx. Onu-Koro was alien to the Vortixx. The only place he knew were the deserts of Po-Wahi, this was completely new to him. It was an underground city full of Onu-Matoran walking about mixed in with the occasional foreigner. The buildings were constructed out of compacted earth and other materials and made an impressive appearance."Let's go find the medical supplies," he starts, wanting to take care of Garme.-Mef Man
IC: MekrofOkay, maybe he couldn't take all of those Kofo-Jaga. The Skakdi of Gravity ran out of the mines and started running in circles, firing blindly behind him, trying to hit the pesky little Rahi. And some were still on him. He screamed from the burning sensation. He rolled on the ground for a moment to shake them. That didn't work. Well, he wasn't going to shoot himself. He ran behind another tunnel, and tripped on a rock. He continued to roll on the ground. More and more Kofo-Jaga scuttled after him. He lay on the ground, pistol in hand, firing at them as they swarmed him."I'm having a horrible vacation," Mekrof grumbled between screams.
IC: Garme"Wow."Mimicked the Ko-Matoran, having been to only one area of the island she could remember, the same as Savulg. She didn't remember much of anything before the island, so her memories were not that far back."And I already told you Savulg, It's fine, I'm not hurt. Unless you were getting something for yourself for being buried in dirt."
IC: Walker"Well then, that means we can go find a place to eat now. I'm starved! Let's find some place to stay for the night once we're done."
IC: GarmeShe muttered something rather foul under her breath.
IC(Savulg)
"Either way, I'll get some healing supplies for you," he says, smiling. "Now, where is a good restaurant to eat at?"-Mef Man
IC: MekrofMekrof got up and began prying whatever Kofo-Jaga were clinging to him, careful not to drop his pistol, and kept running around the city's main cavern, cursing at the top of his lungs and firing on the pests. They were particularly motivated for dumb Rahi. He voiced that thought and kept running. Well, Kofo-Jaga did like heat... maybe they were after his gun... Or maybe they were angry. Yeah, that was probably it.Either way, Mekrof kept running around the Koro with that swarm at his heels.
IC (Wrehn, Onu-Koro): Wrehn 'Wow'd with the others at Onu-Koro's magnificence. Upon Savulg's asking of where they should eat, Wrehn replied, "Dunno, but that just makes me wonder what they eat here. I mean think about it. Where do they get it from?" the group turned a corner in the street and discovered a market full of merchants selling food and souvenirs from other Koros. Wrehn whistled slowly, and listened to the alien chants and slight accents of other Koronans, advertising their culture. It was like heaven."Fish! Fresh, Ga-Wahi fish!""Lightstones, ya won't get far in the dark without a lightstone!""Lovely sweet-fruits, fresh-picked from Le-Wahi!""Carvings, 50% off!""Lightstones too heavy for you? Take a candle!"Wrehn stood there for a few seconds, frozen with excitement. It was like a tiny taster of what was to come.
IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak sat silently on the chair, watching his fellow beings in the room. It was rather boring to merely sit there with nothing to do as they waited for the terrible detective to return. He was also somewhat jealous of the Vortixx who had just left without much of a fuss, for he too wanted to do something other than sit."You guys want to play a word game?" he asked again.
IC: MekrofAh, but indeed, after about two hours of running around, getting tackled by a swarm of Kofo-Jaga, and burning off more ammo than he could afford, Mekrof finished off the horde of the pesky little scorpions."This is why I never go on vacations," he mumbled, sitting down near a bridge. Then he collapsed on the rock floor, all scratched and bleeding. He let out one more pitiful cry of "help" before shutting his eyes. It was too much effort to stay awake. His body felt like it was on fire. Either way, he rested. He couldn't walk to a hospital. The Skakdi of Gravity passed out...
IC (Zadron)Zadron entered the medic's hut. The Onu-Matoran medic himself was out; apparently he'd only just left, as some instruments were lying on a table next to Thedarr Chronn's prone body. A pair of tongs were still wet with the Toa's saliva. The Vortixx assassin walked over to Chronn, and looked down at him.
OOC: If you kill Chronn, won't someone notice it wasn't Inc?IC: Incommodo"So, anyone have a pen?" Incommodo asked.
IC: ChronnI lay there, my breathing felt strange, it had a hollow metallic ringing to it, a low hum... It was certainly strange. But that was not what was on my mind. What was locked into place was rage, anger and hatred. I wanted nothing more than revenge. I did not hear the assassin, he was silent as he was dangerous. But, I did see him standing over me, looking down."Tell your boss that this is not what I signed up for."The words were weak, but sounded rather unnerving with the ringing hum of the metal.
IC: Incommodo"Hold on, Arkrak, can't you leave? You haven't been accused of anything." Inc pointed out.
IC: [Arkrak]"I can't move my arms though," he replied dryly.
IC:Despite claiming to be in need of rest, the Vortixx was not sleeping in her room. Kohra was wide awake, meditating, listening to the quite whispers in the back of her head. Her dark passenger was giving her instructions. Somewhere to go. Alone this time. Something she needed was in this Wahi and he would direct her to the person she would get it from. The underground inn was a large building, but not very high. After all, how could it be?The Vortixx opened the window at the far side of her room and quietly slipped out into the perpetual darkness of Onu-Wahi.
OOC: Ok, cue theme from 'Psycho' :psychotwitch:Pirok, Zadron is a professional. He's going to do this properly.IC (Zadron)Zadron didn't answer. But a cold smile crept onto his sharp Vortixx features. He picked up the pair of metal tongs and held them up, looking down at Chronn. He snapped them together twice.Chronn's eyes widened.Zadron moved. Clutching the Toa's jaw with one hand, his gentle but firm grip keeping it open, he carefully plunged the tongs down Chronn's throat. Feeling around inside the weakly struggling Toa's throat, he found the metal support. Closing the tongs around it, he twisted. The support fell a little further down, now no longer keeping Chronn's throat from collapsing, but also blocking his windpipe.Zadron released it, and withdrew the tongs, replacing them exactly as they were, still looking down at Chronn. His orange eyes now betrayed the true being behind the silver-tongued, efficient demeanour: a psychopath, but a clever psychopath and one who only killed when it benefitted him. Now Chronn would never talk - never reveal the true attackers. He would choke on the device that was meant to save him. There were no witnesses; no obvious murder weapon. Chronn was too weak to struggle much, so there would be no marks on the body. It would look like an accident; the support had simply slipped while the medic was out.
OOC: I doubt it would just 'slip', though. Chronn's no fool, anyhow. And did TDC give you permission to kill him?Besides, won't the fact that Zadron left make him a suspect? :sly:IC: Incommodo"So... anyone got any idea when Chronn'll be back?" Inc asked.
IC(Savulg)
"How about the fish-""Bula berry pie and Kane-Rai steak!""How about the-""Fresh soup and drinks from the fresh Ga-Koro springs!"Savulg sighs before pressing his hands against his head. "I don't know anymore..."-Mef Man
IC: Not noticing Savulg's confusion, Wrehn simply wandered further into the crowds, trying to absorb every last sap of other cultures into his mind and body, a maniacal grin on his face.
OOC: Chronn obviously isn't dead though.IC: [Arkrak]"Probably once he gets better," Arkrak replied.
OOC: I don't really think it would be that easy to get the throat bracer to just fall deeper in. So... I can't really post. Wouldn't unlodging the bracer's sides still cause it to be connected into the throat, at least sideways. Not supporting it open as well, but still open?IC: GarmeShe noticed what she decided on, the others could just choose for themselves. She had a few widgets, she could pay for her own food. And there was a stand selling friend Rahi chicken on a stick.
OOC: And can tongs fit in one's mouth? I don't know, only tongs I've seen were the ones in the kitchen.IC: [Arkrak]"So you guys still want to play hangman?" asked Arkrak cheerfully as he addressed the fellow occupants of the room.
IC(Savulg)
The Vortixx soon disappeared into the crowd and reappeared with a first aid kit in his hands. He walks next to Garme and says,"When you're ready I'll try to heal that cut."-Mef Man
IC: Garme"I already told you, I'm, fine."She remarked, buying the rahi on a stick."They don't have anything like this in Po-koro..."
IC(Savulg)
"I-I know what you said," said the Vortixx. "But, I want to help you."I need to help you.It had been so long since someone had said they needed him. Karz, he couldn't even remember if anyone had said so. Maybe before he reached the island he was needed, but he couldn't remember. All he wanted to do was be helpful to the Matoran, not a nuisance.-Mef Man
IC: GarmeShe looked at Savulg dully, before grumbling slightly."Ah, fine."
IC(Savulg)
"Thank you," he says quickly before guiding her away toward an empty alley nearby. The Vortixx walks toward a nearby furniture vendor and swipes a chair before returning to Garme. He sits down the chair and motions for her to take a seat.-Mef Man
IC: GarmeThe Matoran raises an eyebrow-mask part=thingy."Would't it be more logical for you to sit down?"She looked up at th being that was clearly much taller.
IC(Savulg)
"I guess you're right," he replies before quickly sitting down and opening the first aid kit. Inside were bandages, disinfective materials, and plenty of other types of healing. "Now, I'm sorry if this hurts, but it'll be over soon." The Vortixx began to place some disinfective gel on the Matoran's wound before tearing off a rather large bandage and placing it over the scratch. "Did that hurt?" he asks, looking down at the box in his hands.-Mef Man
IC: GarmeShe almost laughed at the question Savulg asked her."That? Hurt? You're joking, right?"It stung, but she wasn't going to admit it.
IC(Savulg)
Savulg sighs in relief. "Good; I don't ever want to hurt you." The Vortixx turns toward the streets before looking back to the Matoran. "Do you need anything else? A drink maybe?"-Mef Man
IC: Garme"I'm alright."She remarked, taking a bite out of the rahi on a stick."I don't need anything, I am perfectly alright."
IC
(Savulg)
"Are...are you sure?" he asks, confused. How do you get someone something when they are perfectly fine?-Mef Man
