It took about five minutes."The next command is BLOCK. The Companion Vahki has been provided, rather than standard Vahki staffs, a set of Defensive Staffs that neutralize normal missiles. The Vahki always detects when a missile is coming, back cannot save himself unless you let him. You don't want to murder your companion do you?""You'll know when to give the command."A missile suddenly fired out from the wall across from Hubert, heading towards the Vahki's back.... and hitting with ease, causing it to explode into tiny pieces."You... You monster. You let him die. He saw his entire life of 38 minutes flash before his eyes, and saw the missile coming. And you left him helpless. You monster. Luckily we have more."Another Vahki dropped from the ceiling. Within 10 seconds, another missile was fired off at the new Vahki.-Toa Levacius Zehvor

Vahki possess a very complex AI, complete with base emotions. The Companion Vahki have been adjusted to have the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, they also had their vocals violently ripped out so they wouldn't scream. But they would scream if they had them. In fact, the vocals are all contained in one room, where the screaming is released. IC: Ezraftin / Just Outside New Metru-NuiEzraftin nodded his head as they walked. "I have no recollection of anything prior to the Time Slip. I assume I was with other Av-Matoran before then, but... I don't know. My life is an odd one. I spent most of it in the outside world, from that point on. Unlike others, I realized, over time, that I wasn't a normal Ko-Matoran. I traveled across the universe for centuries, until I found Karda-Nui. Then the stalagmite villages crashed, and sure enough, a bunch of bat Makuta came in not too long after. Well, a thousand years, but..."He shrugged. "I don't know how old I am. I think the energies of that place did more than just increase size, but they might have helped reverse aging. That might explain why I don't seem as old as I really am. However old that is."Suddenly, he said, "But enough of that, it's just me wasting time. IC: Leon - City Outskirts? -"I'm 160..." Leon said to the previous question. "I'm a Toa of light, and I wear a Calix."OOC: I'd assume 160 in bionicle years is about 16 in ours...or something like that.

He would have to complete some sort of physical test? He'd done something of the sort upon initiation into the CHI. Still, his mask was useless- it had been since the experiment -and his mastery of his element was nothing if not mundane.He looked over the Vahki said to be his companion. He hadn't seen a type like this since he was a Matoran...it was ancient. A Nuurahk if he'd ever known one. He tapped it's head, but it gave no response. Hadn't the voice said something about vocal commands? Maybe it recognized his voice."Uh..let's see here... I'll start off simple. Jump."The Nuurahk leaped, landing cleanly on its staffs and feet. Reet nodded approvingly. Not too bad for a vocal command system. Anyways, the test. Maybe someone could hear him?"Anyone there? I'm ready for the tests."

"Wait here to begin the test."IC: AMTaOS (w/Reet) / Testing ChamberThe wall pulled away near Reet, allowing him to see a doorway open. "Approach the door with the Companion Vahki to begin the test. Your Companion Vahki, as a Model B, will respond solely to voice commands, and has more options available to it than the Model A. However, it lacks the blocking features of the Model A and has fully functional staves. It also gets annoyed, so don't make it angry. You wouldn't like it when it's angry."OOC: Well, considering that Bionicle characters do not reproduce (no matter what one of our GMs seems to believe, based on the whole having children thing that was mentioned earlier...), but are either created by the Great Beings (as Ezraftin, being an Av-Matoran, and presumably Hrunja), by Mata-Nui (Hrunja if not the latter), or created synthetically (as Leon would have to be at a mere 160), I don't think age really has to do with anything. If he was created as still being immature, he probably wouldn't have gained enough experience on the ship to become as world-weary as the other two.While we know that Makuta could create Matoran, but chose not to, it's safe to say that there are no Makuta-created Matoran.IC: Ezraftin / Outside City Limits"Another light user? "Follow." he said to the Vahki, who did so.As he walked down, he looked around. This was Techna, alright, in all it's glory. Except not. There was no glory in this mess anymore. "What now?"

OOC: For RP purposes Leon is a teenager...end of story. :PAnd the whole children thing...well, this RP is non-canon...that's the way I see it anyway. Let's call them hostages, for lack of a better term. They are unconscious, and little do they know how close they are to being blasted to kingdom-come, because there are bombs in their mouths. And all over their body, funnily enough. You have enough time to reach one of the buildings before the bombs go off and the hostages die. > Hurry up now, clock's ticking.> Ring, ring...> Call disconnected.The Joker had left one thing untold: the hostages were already dead. If Gust were to find them, he would see a hideous grin carved into their face. The bombs timers began when the abandoned warehouses holding the hostages were entered. By the time the rescuer found the bomb, they would have under a minute to get out of the building before it went up in flames.OOC: Happy birthday.

IC-Kal:Kal, being the curious, easily-interested Toa of Plasma he always was, had managed to tap into Gust's line, although the Toa Techna most likely knew, and he got the entire message."Oh, joy," he said sarcastically.>If it isn't one thing, it's another, right Gust?
