OOC: So Zadron J-J-JAMMED IT IN?IC: [Arkrak]"I really want a cello," said Arkrak suddenly, turning to face the others in the room. "I mean, I could have a long range weapon for once!"
IC: Garme"Anyone? Am I the only one tired after crossing the desert?"IC: ChronnIt felt like my throat was closing back up, only problem for the Vortixx was that I didn't need air to shoot lightning spread out like a wave right at him.
IC: Walker"You wish. I'm mentally and physically exhausted; I had to keep my concentration on the sand to keep the vehicle moving for god knows how long and I'm completely sapped of elemental energy. Let's not forget that little run-in with those bandits earlier on as well."Putting a hand to his rib cage, Walker spoke."My stomach still hurts from that big brute squeezing me."
IC: Garme"So, which of us is going to be the one to pay for the room?"She questioned, leaning back against the wall of a building."It's not going to be me."
IC: Walker"I spent a bunch of money on that food I just ate so I'm almost out of widgets. However, I do have enough to pay for one night but it would be preferable if someone else paid. Garme, if you have money and you refuse to pay, I'll make sure that you sleep outside."
IC: GarmeShe pulled out a total of three widgets."That's all I have left."She explained dully.
IC: WalkerWith a sigh, Walker asked "Does anyone else besides me actually saved their widgets...?"
IC: Garme"That is all my saved widgets. I usually steal us food, not cash."She remarked, slightly irritated.
IC(Savulg)
"I'm out," he replies. "I...lost my widgets," the Vortixx adds, not wanting to say he paid for the food with the last of his trinkets.-Mef Man
IC: Garme"Well... unfortunately, we can't just steal a room."She grumbled in irritation.
IC(Savulg)
The Vortixx looked to Garme while saying,"Unless you told them you were going to pay for the room the next day..." A forced evil grin crept onto his face. That would be cruel. Isn't that how I'm supposed to be acting, though?-Mef Man
IC: Garme"And then while we're there, someone calls the cops..."She remarked as if it was the worst idea ever."Let's do it.
IC(Savulg)
The Vortixx looks toward Walker and asks,"Would that be okay for us to do?"-Mef Man
IC: CyraxCyrax stepped into Onu-Koro. First step was to look for the Turaga. Yeah......Wait. Where was Thama?...Late?
IC:Kohra was moving through the shadows behind a row of stands that had closed down for the night. Ahead was the flea market area. Mostly deserted at night-time, or its equivalent down in this Wahi, she was looking for one specific person. She had not found him yet, but if her guide's whispers were right, he would reveal himself to her at an appropriate time.
IC Thama:Thama suddenly appeared beside Cyrax. "I suppose your trip was uneventfull as well?" she joked. "Where shall we start?"
IC: CyraxCyrax: Taipu has been gone for some time. He vanished from Onu-Koro, and no one knows where he is. However, there might be something about this vanishing which I know of. Sure, Onu-Koro is the closest towards shadow and Makuta, but more the reason that Taipu was.....hidden. I say we consult Turaga Whenua about this.
IC: Walker"Well..." said Walker slowly, trying to think about everything that could go wrong. All in all, they'd get the authorities on them if they didn't pay them and they wouldn't be welcome in Onu-Koro."I doubt they'd let us in if we just said we'd pay for the room the next day. People aren't that stupid. I think we should just pay them. That and I'm too tired to get into any more trouble."
IC: Garme"Yeah, probably a better Idea..."Then an idea seemed to go through her mind."I wonder if we'll end up finding the murdered body of someone hidden under the mattresses in the room..."
IC (Wrehn): "Yeah, that would be cool." Wrehn remarked, surprisingly enough, in a non-sarcastic manner. He ceased his daydreaming and drew out his bag of widgets, "Are you all forgetting this?" he said with a grin and a flick of his eyebrows. He had stolen all of his food, which was easy due to the large crowd, so he had plenty of widgets left to spend. He gave each of his friends enough for one night plus breakfast, then waved his finger at them jokingly, "Now spend it all at once, kids." he ordered. The group then made it's way to the nearest inn.
IC: Incommodo"My Kualsi is the ultimate weapon." Incommodo pointed out. "If I was so inclined, I could teleport there and away so quickly I could mortally wound someone with no chance of reta... retali... them fighting back."
IC Thama:"Makes sense," Thama agreed. "Now where is Turaga Whenua's hut around here?" She looked around the koro. All the huts looked similar. Except the really big one with plenty of light coming from it. "I'd say that's our destination," she said, walking towards the hut.
IC: Sergeant Skoshom smirked. His lover was bound atop a balance. On the other end was the island of Mata Nui.And Sulov Koskium knew only two things in that moment:1. To let one fall was for it to dieand 2. For one to be taken off the platforms, the scale would tip and the other would fall.Koskium looked back and forth. "No...," he whispered desparately. The sergeant smirked again. "Neither, eh? Well, then."He paused. The sergeant then looked directly into his soul--And Sulov Koskium saw a true coward staring back from its depths at his foe.Skoshom's mask was a Pakari. But now it was an infected Hau, grinning just as widely."They'll both die," Makuta said, and then the scales began to crack as Sulov watched on, a prisoner in his own body-"HUH!"A muscled Onu-Matoran stared out from his helm-like mask. Sweat was beaded across his panting face.Sulov sighed as he looked down at his torso sitting straight up and tried to breathe through his nose to calm. Here he was-Captain of the heavy Ussalry 7th-getting scared dungless by some nightmares. Just what kinda coward was he?But Koskium could feel it was more than that. He was scared because he was conflicted and lost. Join his lover, or fight for the very system that cared naught for his being...The answer seemed simple.Increasingly he had been finding it wasn't so. And such conflict had manifested itself in his dreams. He sighed again and got on his armor. No use sitting here all day when he'd been ordered to report to the turaga straightaway with Squadron Seven at his back. You didn't mess with Whenua; even in his age the turaga was just as Onu-earthlike and firm. And Sulov liked that. At least he wasn't so sandy and fickle like those in the Ussalry committed to keeping Squadron Seven as the skeleton in the closet. They backed down and made excuses where he stood his ground and spoke truth. The matoran tiptoed out the door, making sure not to creak its rusted hinges. His nephews would wake up if he stayed much longer...And they'd just be snapping at his heels for a chance to play with his weapons. He allowed himself a grin at the thought of them, barely younger than his own self, trying to be Ussalry. The Ussalry commander stopped before the communal mushroom patch. His grin turned grim at the sight of small buttons and shriveled portabellas. The crop was poor (as always). Their soil was far too rocky.Koskium's jaw set. He'd just have to ask for more missions this season.Turning, Sulov strode off towards Kol's hut at the other end of Onu-Koro. Second-in-command came before the other members of the team. You never knew when there was gonna be a cavein and you'd die, leaving the group without its first commander.
IC: CyraxCyrax: Yeah. Its that one. I've been here before...where I accidentally blinded everyone by covering the lightstones with crystals to amplify the light. They walked towards it. Soon, they were at the front steps. He waited for Thama to knock, lazy.
IC Thama:"I wonder where the others are. They should be on their way by now," she said. She knocked on the Turaga's door and waited for a response.
IC: [Arkrak]"Line of sight ma boi," said Arkrak. "Line of sight. We cannot see outside the house."
IC - Kol - Don't AskUpon opening his door, one would not find Kol laying in his bed. Or sitting at his finely-made desk from a friend in Po-Koro. Or feeding his Ussal. No, he was hanging from the ceiling. Two primitive handles had been shoved up there, and Kol was making sure he didn't fall out of shape. As his door open, and the Ussalry second in command fell to the unforgiving floor in surprise, he threw his friend a salute."'Ello, Kosk'um!"
IC: Said 'Kosk'um' grinned at the sight of his friend working out. He wanted nothing more than to lose himself in some reps, but he had to get going."We'rre neetet for a meesseeon," Sulov explained. "Whenua's hut ASAP. Can't stay ant chat; I'f to tell everryone."Koskium then turned and walked away towards the next person's hut...What was their name again?"
IC Thama:As she and Cyrax waited longer and longer, Thama got a bit suspicious. "He must be busy," she said to Cyax. "We should go ask around with other people around the village who are close to Taipu while we wait for Whenua to be free."
IC: CyraxCyrax: Ok. Sure. But, I doubt any.....normal villagers would know anything. Either way, we should try.OOC: Did you PM Emzee/Nuju?
OOC: JL, Pokemonlover, Whenua's not in his hut. :lol:IC: Incommodo"That's only because I'm not in the right place." He pointed out. "If I were over there, I could see through the wreckage. Besides, wouldn't having that as a weapon destroy your hearing?"
OOC: I did in fact PM both of them, and I was informed that Whenua was occupied. So we go to the next best thing.IC Thama:"Well, if the turaga is busy with something than the next best thing would be to go to the local law enforcement. In these troubled times they'd probably keep tabs on important figures in the Koro, and with the company members getting hunted down Taipu would be right on the top of this list for people to keep track of."
IC: [Arkrak]"Hey!" Arkrak protested. "Cellos are cool! Don't diss the cello!"
IC: CyraxCyrax nodded in agreement.
IC: A grin came to Sulov's face. That was it!Rubigo. He was next on the list. A good matoran. The squadron commander kept on walking towards the Onu-Matoran he was to alert. Time was running short, and he didn't even have time to do any of his exercises right now. His brisk pace was all the activity Koskium supposed he'd get early in the morning.
OOC: Uyism from Po-Wahi.IC: [Uyism]Uyism trudged through the familiar tunnels of Onu-Koro, somewhat happy to be in the presence of so much dirt and soil. She didn't dislike the 'sun' of the surface, but she preferred the darkness of caves to the surface, and she could see better in the dark anyway. However, she was not here to be familiar, but to find something to do.
IC: Kohra had not quite been as sneaky as she'd hoped. Clo'on had spotted her leaving the inn and had been carefully tracking her ever since. When she'd gone through crowds, he'd kept an eye on her distinctive cloak. When she'd disappeared down alleys he'd followed her footprints through the dust and earth of Onu-Koro's streets. Where was she going? What was she up to?
OOC: By the way, Arkrak, why'd you copy my idea of putting Pokémon in BZPRPG?IC: Incommodo & ?"Pikachu are cooler." Inc muttered. The Mystix filled the vacuum in with water, before sending a torrent at Zar's back.
IC (Zar): What's this? She wants to take it further? Fine by me. I leap up to the ceiling, dodging her blast of water, and form an air bubble around it. I then increase the pressure, and unleash it back in her direction.
IC: ?The Mystix saw the water coming back at her, and simply absorbed it when it hit."That the best you've got?"She created a bubble of water around Zar's head. She knew he could escape from it easily, but that was exactly what she was waiting for. A small puddle of water formed behind Zar.
