IC: [Arkrak]"I see," said Arkrak. "Anyway, what exactly are we going to do now?"
OOC: Ignore old post. Clicked wrong notification, posted wrong topic. Hubert, I edited this so it fitted in.IC: Incommodo"So... how long do you think this'll take?" Inc asked.
OOC: EDIT - Wrong thread man. Wrong thread.IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak blinked."Wut?"
IC Thama:Thama and Cyrax continued to walk through Onu-Koro. Around them, matoran continued their everyday work. Thama paused and turned to Cyrax. "Are you familiar enough with this village to know where the local law enforcement would be?" she asked.
OOC: CURSE NOTIFICATIONS!
OOC:
IC: Koskium nodded back. "Gut...But beforr ve go, I am Sulov Koskium," the matoran introduced. He smiled yet again. "Vhat is your name?"IC: [Uyism]Uyism nodded."Okay."
IC: [Uyism]"Name?" said the Iroiit. "Name is Uyism."
IC: Koskium cleared his throat. "U...Yi...Sm?," he staggered out with a nod to said being.
IC: [Uyism]Uyism nodded."Yes."
IC: Sulov grinned. "O-kay! Let's get going, zen; you follow me."The matoran turned and began to walk towards Rubigo's hut. He moved slowly-letting Uyism easily keep track of his body-but with his commanding purpose, so that all matoran parted before his advance.
IC: [Uyism]Uyism nodded, and began to follow the other being, happy at finding something to do.
IC: Incommodo"I said, 'so how long do you think this'll take'." Incommodo said, slightly confused.
IC:Nightning"If I may interject," Nighting said, to Turaga Whenua. He turned to Incommodo. "Just a few seconds ago, you said Chronn was tried to kill you. Why would he do such a thing?"
IC: Incommodo"Well, Chronn's kinda violent in nature. That, and we may just have been slacking off from work..."
IC (Zar, tunnels): No, this cannot be... I am a warrior. She has been living in hiding for a thousand or so years. How is this possible? How can I, the mighty Zar, be beaten?"Aru..." I manage to say, using the tunnel wall for support as I force myself to my feet, "If you can't do better than that..." I create a vacuum around her, but not in front or around her. This vacuum wall should block the sound of the cyclone I am creating further back from reaching her ears, "You're... Finished..." I send the cyclone charging at her, taking away the vacuum at the last possible moment to prevent her from noticing.
IC: ?"I lost that name long ago." The Mystix said, before filling the entire cavern with water. This meant that the cyclone was destroyed before it even reached her. "And if we're using names, Zar, I think you should know that you're far more finished." Aru had kept the water from surrounding her own head, so she could still breathe and be heard. Zar, however, would have great difficulty fighting back, even if he did have power of air, as he had become quite weak at this point.
IC:Nightning"So you were attacked by Chronn because you were slacking off?" Nightning asked. "That seems a bit... Extreme. Even for a person with a violent nature. Are you sure that he attacked you only because you were slacking off? There must have been some other reason."
IC: Incommodo"The rest was all Arkrak's idea. You can ask him. We both agree it was his fault."
IC: NexThe Turaga of Iron remained politely quiet, still aching slightly, and testing the Magnetism on himself to see if he could rise. He did not interrupt Whenua's questioning, he knew his turn would come shortly enough. There was no need to rush things, the Turaga needed to know all of the evidence.IC: GarmeHer snoring slowly got louder and louder as she slept, leaving lightly irritating behind, as it reached annoying levels.
IC:Nightning"I'd like to hear both of your stories." Nightning said. "Was there another reason that Chronn attacked you or not?"
IC: MekrofHe was finally rested enough to get up from the gutter. Perhaps he could limp his way to a hospital... Where would he find one, though?Mekrof stumbled. It seemed he wasn't in such great shape after that Kofo-Jaga attack. Was it true their sting carried venom?...He fell to the ground from a sudden twist of pain. He needed to get this stuff out of his system before he died. One last pitiful call for help... Too quiet. He would have to yell louder if he wanted to catch someone's attention. But he couldn't yell louder...
IC: DreenanShe listened to what was being said, glaring dangerously at Nighting."Hey, Maybe you should let Whenua run the questioning, not yourself."IC: DromeI clutched my head, which was ringing as I rose to my feet."Ugh.. Kadon, what happened, I remember fighting, and then... Nothing."IC: TuataraHe was lost in the tunnels, a dangerous creature, in the tunnel between Le-Wahi and Onu-Wahi, looking for food. Anyone who traveled through there would be wise to watch where they were going... and keep a close eye on the tunnel's roof.
IC: CyraxCyrax:......No.
IC:The Vortixx stopped in her tracks, behind a shadowy corner, that left her in darkness but gave her a good angle to scan the market for her quarry. No sign of him yet. Instead, she spotted somebody else among the late-night crowd. It was hard not to notice him. The muscular Toa of stone was quite the prime-example of their kind. Clo'on couldn't spot her like this, but she could tell he was just as watchful.Kohra tensed. She could guess why he was here. You weren't careful enough, that's why. she heard her guide's voice."Yes, I know." she muttered under her breath, frustrated. She kept following him with her eyes. Apparently he was looking at the ground trying to spot her footprints. Easy enough if all the others were from Matoran. So goody two-shoes was of the clever kind after all. Not surprising, but his manner had seemed a bit naive to her. The Matoran would call it 'sincere'. her guide chimed in again. Now, are you going to do something about him or are you just going to stand there admiring his physique?I..." she began to protest, then swallowed her retort. It was impossible to argue with her dark passenger, who lived among her thoughts. Which meant there was some truth to his observation of her behavior. Even though she'd never admit that.Focus.Looking up, she realized her companion had come a bit closer already. If she wanted to give him the slip, she'd have to do it fast. Among the merchants, she spotted one selling pottery, near where Clo'on was standing. Among those, large vases to keep oils and other liquids in. It gave her an idea for a distraction. Flexing her fingers, she flicker wrist, which affected one of the more expensive vases in such a way, that it shook and fell, bursting into pieces. Of course the merchant was anything but happy about this. Cursing and yelling he stepped out onto the street, demanding to know who'd knocked his wares over. Hopefully the commotion would attract the Toa's attention, just for a few moments. In the meantime, the Vortixx left her dark corner and slipped in behind a group of Matoran pulling a cart, obscuring her from view. Hopefully it would buy her enough time...
OOC: So wait... who tried to kill who?
This situation is complex.IC:"It is my duty to be arbiter, sister," Whenua said to Dreenan, "But coming into this crime without knowledge and making rash decisions would undermine that role. I do not yet see the situation with enough clarity to ask my own questions - the nature of questions that Nighting asks is a source of information for me."The Turaga, dwarfed by most around him, still held an air of authority. "Attempted murder for questionable reasons... Detectives, this is a crime of serious magnitude, and must thus be dealt with seriously. Please, present to me your full case. Tell me why and how you have gotten yourselves - evidently licensed detectives? - involved, and tell me everything you know about this Chronn individual."
OOC:Chronn(The Victim) attacked Arkrahk and Incommodo.(His workers.)IC:NightningNighting folded his arms, smirking at Dreenan. She had deserved that slight rebuke for a long time.
IC: Kadon"I think we knocked each other out," I groaned. "Why are we here, anyway?"
IC: Drome"I... I can't remember why we were here..." I responded with confusion."Was it something about our plan at teaching others to be better Toa?"
IC: Kadon"I don't know. Ugh. Let's just get to the village, where we can rest up a bit." He struggled to his feet.
IC: Drome"Yeah, good idea." I remarked as I stumbled a few steps toward the village.
OOC: But after that, Nex and Zadron tried to kill Chronn. Also, TDC, Inc isn't magnetising Nex down anymore. I said he stopped when Whenua came in, go back a few pages. :lol:IC: Incommodo"Well, figuring out that Chronn would probably be angry, Arkrak and I may just have gone to get a drink. And disappeared for four hours." Inc answered. "But before that, we came here to work for Chronn. Chronn had been given a tablet, with NEX written on it. We managed to trace its origin to that Turaga of Iron, whose name happens to be Nex. Then, we attempted to question the Turaga, whose allies, killers under his employment, attacked us in turn. We only just escaped."He then came here, in an attempt to kill Chronn, and I assume this was because Chronn was getting a bit too nosy."OOC:Chronn(The Victim) attacked Arkrahk and Incommodo.(His workers.)
IC: [Arkrak]"Actually they ran away," Arkrak interjected. "Then we went to get a drink so we could spend our last moments happy before getting killed by Chronn."
IC: GarmeDreams could be pleasant, of they could be nightmares. Positive and bringing about good memories, or a positive new form of the world. Nightmares bringing back up horrible memories of misery and fear, or a dark twist on the world. For Garme, the second was what she was dreaming.A nightmare, possibly from her past, possibly something that had never happened before. But it was not a pleasant dream in the slightest. The wailings of pain from others, fire all around her, burning out of control. The blazes getting closer and closer. She awoke with a start, breathing heavily and wide eyed.
IC(Savulg)
"Garme," whispers the Vortixx loudly. He had just made it to the side of the Matoran; her thrashing about waking him from his slumber. The little one seemed to be having a nightmare of some sort and was worrying the being. When he made it to her side, she had woken up. "Bad dream?"-Mef Man
IC: Garme"Yeah... Yeah, it was..."She commented, trying to get her breathing back to normal."... What are you doing here in the floor?"
IC(Savulg)
"I heard you thrashing around and I wanted to check on you," he replies, a caring look on his face.-Mef Man
IC: Garme"Okay... I'm fine..."She replied, her voice turning to its dull normal tone."You can... go back to your couch now."
IC(Savulg)
"Okay, but if you, uh, need anything just wake me up," he replies. Reluctantly, he slowly backs up to the couch and lies down, but doesn't go to sleep. The Vortixx wanted to make sure the Matoran was asleep before he did the same.-Mef Man
IC: GarmeShe leaned back against the wall with a bored sigh. She stopped moving, but she wasn't snoring at all.She was thinking.
IC(Savulg)
Savulg lied on his back and stared at the ceiling, but his focus was not on the black ceiling. Instead, he was watching the Matoran in his periphriel vision; making sure the girl he loved was okay. All she was doing was sitting up, but there was no snoring, no peaceful breathing. It was just her sitting there. The Vortixx tried to stay up for a bit longer, but he was exhausted and fell asleap after about ten minutes. The sound of footsteps thundering throughout of the valleys of the desert echoed throughout the Wahi. Roofs collapsed and mountains crumbled from the shock wave. At the epicenter of this barrage stood a Vortixx, but this wasn't an ordinary Vortixx. Instead, there stood a twenty foot tall Vortixx, muscles bulging from every section of his body. On each shoulder were the most beautiful Ga-Toa you would ever see in your life and they were both resting their heads on the giant's.But, the two were soon brought down off of his shoulders and the being began to walk toward a small dot on the horizon. The Toa's plees for him to stay were drowned out by the foot falls that were gradially landng faster and faster. The dot soon became a shape and the shape soon became a Matoran. His Matoran."Garme!" exclaimed the Vortixx in a deep and tough sounding voice. The Matoran smiled brightly and began to run toward him as well. They were soon approaching each other faster and faster until-"-Mef Man
