Techna: Breakdown

IC: Daykia (CHI)Opening the door, she coud see that some people were standing around discussing the attack. Within a few minutes, she had gathered enough info to be sure that Esao and Ryllia had been attacked. She turned to go when she heard a faint 'thud', like someone had fallen to the floor. Intrigued, she walked toward the noise's location, and in a side room, she found a dead Toa of Earth, lying on the floor, shot in the heartlight. She then sent a message to all nearby:>"To any CHI personel- There is a dead Toa of Earth in Room 36. I'm not sure who he is, but he seems to be wearing a guard uniform. I think this is our missing assassin that attempted to kill Esao."IC: Krash (Krahzia)"OK." Krash said, putting the bomb back in his bag. "I didn't know there were green and grey Toa of Lightning. I thought they were all blue and yellow."Zakaro

-==IC: Blade//Krahzia==-Blade shrugged."Not all of them are blue and yellow, not are all of them green and grey. It's just like the fact that most Toa of Lightning aren't Male. There are only a few exceptions, like a Toa named Levacius. I once fought alongside him, but... I heard he managed to get himself killed somehow shortly before I was brought out of stasis. I still don't know much of the details there." Blade explained with another shrug.

IC: Arentus & KeyanaArentus cocked his head in surprise. "You actually find me handsome? Even considering that I'm a Vortixx, and you're a Toa? Perhaps you're a bit stranger than I originally thought." He said, only half-joking.Keyana smiled, never moving from her uncomfortable close position. "Yes, yes I do find you handsome.""Well then." Arentus said as he casual opened the briefcase, which instantly wrapped around his body, producing his armor. "It seems you'll only get to view that handsome face for short intervals."

IC: Esao (Hospital Wing, CHI)I was dead. Or, at least, I might as well have been. I was sitting in a bed, unconscious, undoubtedly in some variation of shock. Ryllia was...somewhere. I don't know where. God, I wanted to hold her...And Airu, trapped in Krahzia, probably being tortured for intelligence the Hackers knew he would never give up. Did he know, even as Ryjak appeared, that he would sacrifice everything just to give us a chance at victory? Of course he did. He was Airu, after all...And Gust. Oh, God, what had I done to screw things up with Gust? All I needed was one final conversation, to explain that all I'd ever tried to do was look out for him, that he was like my brother, and there was a time where I could have considered him more than that...I was snapped out of my thoughts by a bright, shining light that cut through the dark hazy blank that had become my thought processes, and I slowly opened my eyes and groaned.-Teezy

IC: NikarraNikarra had been sitting beside her boss' hospital bed (she was slightly worried about him), and looked over at him as he groaned.

IC: Rinnder / Outside CHIThe illusion generator went out of effect, as Rinnder stepped from the darkness, his armor no longer chameleoned against the wall. Showing no remorse over the dead assassin, he turned on his radio transmitter and called, "The assassin is dead, and Drazen is gone.""You should have shot him when you had a chance.""The assassin would have taken it as a chance to prove his loyalty. Not that it would have worked.""Very well then. I shall personally handle things."The radio line cut off, leaving Rinnder alone.IC: Kinksh / Hidden BaseActivating his radio transmitter, Kinksh began switching over until he finally hit the right frequency to send a message directly to the brain implant of his current, primary enemy - Illya Drazen.There wasn't really a way to shut off the transmission by anything short of brain implant deactivation. Not that it had anything substantial to it."Hello Illya." came a masked voice. "I've witnessed your latest exploits. Sending an assassin after Esao... gassing the entire complex he worked in. A good show - but sadly, I don't like good shows.""You, like many others, are a threat to the cities security. Before you reach confusion, let me set the ground - I am the Golden Hammer, leader of the strongest criminal Syndicate here in New Metru-Nui. Over ninety percent of criminal activities are directed by me; the other ten percent just don't realize it yet. Now I don't know what kind of game your playing. Perhaps revenge after your organization was wiped out, an attempt to kill off the higher-ups. A bid for power, perhaps?""It doesn't matter. You are now responsible for the deaths of at number of my more covert employees. You are encroaching upon my territory. You are becoming a problem, and I don't like problems.""If you know what's good for you, stop. It probably won't save you, though.""Oh, but who am I kidding. That's just urging you on. Go ahead. Some are even responsible for your electricity and water.""Food for thought."IC: Kinksh (NPC Golden Hammer) / Hospital Wing (CHI)One of the doctors quickly sent in a report - on his modified datapad, the medical log was also being sent to Kinksh. The information wouldn't mean much, though it would be confirmation on whether or not Esao was alive - and thus still a target for manipulation or blackmail.IC: Thazris / Krazhia"Levacius?" came a voice, followed by a laughter, as one of the incomplete stone buildings near Blade and Krash shimmered, revealing itself in even poorer condition, with Thazris sitting atop it. "Wouldn't believe the look on my face when I found out who he was. Used to fancy himself a pirate. Stole a couple kegs of my finest Southern Red as they were being sent to me once. Glad to here he kicked the can."Thazris tossed down a bottle towards Blade, but it shimmered away before reaching him. "Haven't seen you around here before. Found your way out of the wastelands before Ryjak went... well. More psycho."-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC - Ryjak - Lab"Shy, are we?"He shrugged."That's fine. It's only your children at sake. I need you for something else, and one of them is replaceable. The other..."Ryjak snapped, and shadows split away like scared mice. It revealed Airu, completely beat up and defenseless, tied to a metal slab."Airu. Remeber that intelligence I wanted? The codes to the database? Either you give them to me, or she dies."

Blade asked, slightly confused, since he had been unconscious for the better portion of around 2-3 hours, and therefore hadn't heard any of the recent events."But yes, I was just recently rescued, I presume... I passed out somewhere out that way." Blade said, motioning in the direction he was hoping was the way he had come from.

IC: Krash (Krahzia)"Hello again!" Krash said to Thazris cheerfully. "You still sure you don't want any bombs?"Zakaro

IC: Thazris / KrazhiaThazris waved his hand at Krash. "More psycho. About as psycho as you'd have to be to go into that bar you were heading towards. That swill is closer to Water Wraith slime than anything drinkable."-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Emma - Debrief 1Emma relaxed a bit, but her worry persisted. These mental conversations couldn't be good for Kairan."Okay then, maybe some fresh air might help," she offered.-Void

IC, Kinvex: "Or maybe a glass of water- that always helps," Kinvex suggested.

IC: Hrunja"Do guys have a feeling that all the dramatic things are going on elsewhere?"

Kairan said with a chuckle, as he stood up, and walked toward the door."Come on, it'll be a surprise."-==IC: Blade//Krahzia==-Blade frowned, but nodded, a slight grimace on his face."Thanks for the heads up, I didn't know." Blade said, about both things."What's caused Ryjak to act as weird as you say?" Blade asked, curious, as he hadn't heard of that.

IC: Emma - CHI TowerEmma responded with a smile of her own, before turning back to Kinvex, "Just one moment Kinvex. I'll be back soon."With that, she followed Kairan out the door, "Okay, you brought me out here, what's this surprise?"-Void

IC, Kinvex: Kinvex sighed. He was always the one to be left alone, wasn't he? He sat there and waited.

-==IC: Kairan//Outside CHI Headquarters==-"Well, no-one's really claimed the hovercraft since it landed, so..." Kairan said, as he walked toward the craft, and opened up the door."I thought I might work on my flying skills, to get my mind off Blade for a moment or two. Wanna join me?" Kairan asked, as he looked back to Emma.OOC: I'm sorry, but I still want the Albiore. =P

OOC: Nah, nah, sounds awesome!IC: Emma - CHI TowerEmma grinned her agreement, "What, around an alien world looking for a semi-insane clone of you? Of course!"Suddenly, a look of concern flashed over her eyes, and she held up one finger, before poking her head back through the door, "Yo, Kinvex! Wanna go on an adventure?"-Void

IC, Kinvex: Kinvex looked up. "Sure!" he said. He jumped into the hovercraft. "I love adventures!"

IC: Drazen (Krahzia)"Ryjak."Ilya stepped out of nowhere and nodded curtly in greeting to his younger brother."We have...an annoyance... to attend to. Can this wait?"-Teezy

IC - Ryjak - Lab"Send guards to deal with it. Don't bother me with small things barring a Toa Techna or full-fledged attack at our doorstep."

-==IC: Kairan//Outside Ki Headquarters==-Kairan looked from the doorway of the headquarters, to the hovercraft, and then between the two again."I could've sworn he was in the headquarters a moment ago." Kairan said, but shrugged."Alright then, that's settled. Let's go." Kairan said, as he stepped into the hovercraft, and got behind the controls of the ship."Alright. If I remember correctly..." Kairan muttered, as he gripping the controls, and hit a button which started it up after everyone was in, and began to make it hover into the air, kairan doing all he could to keep it hovering in one spot as it rose.Let's just hope I can control this thing... Kairan thought, as he pushed the controls forward, which propelled the hovercraft forward as well."So far so good!" Kairan said with a smile, as he made the ship hover in one spot, and looked back at the others, a confident smile on his face.OOC: *Hides from Spawn for noticing the lowercase for CHI is Chi, and auto-mind-filtering it to Ki*

IC: Drazen (Krahzia)"What if it's a mix of both?" he asked lowly. "And it concerns the guards."He looked at Airu, who contemptuously spit a wad of blood at the elder brother. Ilya wiped it off his cheek slowly and turned his gaze back to Ryjak.-Teezy

IC - Ryjak - LabRyjak narrowed his eyes."I don't believe this could happen without my knowing. Pics or it isn't happening."

IC: Drazen (Venus Tower, Krahzia)Ilya sent the recording of the "crime lord's" message over to his younger brother and waited."While the message is rife with blatant exaggeration, at the very least, it should be checked out," he said. "Our guards need to be as trustworthy as possible."-Teezy

IC, Kinvex: "Nice!" said Kinvex. "Now try doing a turn!"OOC: I was so tempted to have Kinvex tell Karain to do a barrel roll.

OOC: I don't think we have anti-grav cabins, but hey, if you wanna end up on the ceiling for a moment, sure. =P Not impossible, I don't think.-==IC: Kairan//Albiore I==-Kairan nodded, as he turned the ship around on the spot, taking care to avoid hitting the throttle and sending the hovercraft forward by accident; especially when that was likely to have it go straight through the headquarters. Kairan had it hover up a little higher, even as he turned clear away from the buildings, and began to have the hovercraft move forward, not too quickly yet, but at a faster pace than walking, by far.I think I'm starting to get the hang of this... Kairan said with a smile, as the hovercraft moved across the city quickly, letting Kairan get another look at the rubble of places like the Housing District, which dampened his spirits slightly."So much destruction... For little reason..." Kairan commented, and sighed."I just wish that everyone could put their differences aside..."

IC - Ryjak - Lab"Bludering moron." he walked towards the door.Ryjak sighed. Another arrogant fool on pillars of sand."Let's take care of this."

IC: Elirak (CHI)I suddenly heard gunshots, three of them. What it was..."What the heck?" I asked the being, at the same calling Helsa.> Are you alright?> I heard shots.

IC: JikalJikal opened a line to Helsa.>Helsa, you have three minutes to inform me of what has just occurred before I march in there.

OOC: Heh heh heh... Good luck.IC: Thazris / Krazhia"He's got himself locked up in a tower that makes my ego look small, and I'm pretty sure I saw him come over to send off a lad and lass on some errand. Ignored me though. Always does. Better that way, you know?""So did you just wake up from the ship?"-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Drazen (Venus Tower, Krahzia)Ilya nodded and drew his gun, firing off a bullet trivially beside Airu's head. The force of it cut into his cheek, causing a small wince of pain. The general's eyes never stopped blazing with defiant fire, and Drazen smirked, turning away and following behind.Airu turned back to Emarosa."I'm so sorry," he said quietly, his voice coming out as a small croak.IC: Esao (Hospital Wing, CHI)I smiled a bit at Nikarra and nodded in greeting."Out of all the people in the world to be waiting at my bedside, I didn't figure it'd be you," I said, propping myself into a somewhat-sitting position. The thought drifted through my painkiller-addled brain that I was missing my shirt: the thought next occurred that my flak jacket had been gone. At some point, Ryllia must have taken it off...-Teezy

IC: ElirakI let out the breath I realised I was holding in when I heard she was alright.> Ok, what about Jikal?

-==IC: Blade//Krahzia==-"No." Blade admitted, and frowned."I've been trying to track down one of the last people who has knowledge of the process of replication." Blade said, and shrugged."He caused one of my biggest pains in recent times, and along with another scientist, was the main cause that I've been in stasis since before the Techna launched..." Blade said with a slight scowl."The only problem is, that while I know there's been replicas around since the ship crashed... I don't know where the Piraka can be found." Blade muttered, as he sighed."I was investigating a lead when I collapsed due to injuries I had sustained." Blade explained, as he shrugged once more, not sure why he was telling the two all this, but... If it helped him complete his goal, it was worth a shot.

IC: Helsa - CHI doorway -> Jikal is fine.

IC: Gust (CHI)Suddenly, the voice of Toa Techna Gust came on over the intercom."Attention, CHI personnel," said Gust, sounding very much as if he were in tears. "It is with the utmost regret and heartache that I inform you that Special Agent in Charge Esao Mandala was just gunned down a couple minutes ago."Analysts and TAC teams everywhere across the building began to mutter silently and curse at the news."As of right now, he's alive in and very critical condition. But the best thing we can do for him is keep working at full potential and see how things go. Gust out."And just as suddenly as the Toa had began his broadcast, it ended, leaving a very confused and worried CHI to mutter amongst themselves.-Teezy

IC: Jikal>That answer doesn't exactly give me a reason not to march in there.IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk cursed, and shook his head. "I warned him. As much as I hate to say it, I warned him."

IC - Zarayna - New Metru Nui [A few seconds before Gust's announcement:I enter CHI, not a little confused. Bits of information are filtered in as I wander through the building. It's surprisingly intact. Well, kind of. For instance, I pass a door to a small barracks that looked like a few martial artists used it for practice, a lot. I casually glance at it, but something catches my eyes. There's strange damage done to the room, almost like someone let an angry Muaka. But that's not what holds my attention. It's several weapons strewn about.Mars's weapons.What the heck? I think. Mars would normally never drop her weapons, and that included with the beating this room's taken...I contact Mars. No reply. I can't sense her. Shrugging, I do the next thing that comes to mind: calling Esao."Esao. I found Mars's weaponry in an old barracks room that looks like someone let a few bad tempered Muaka rampage through. I can't contact or sense her. Do you know what happened?"Then I hear the news about him. Oh Snap, I think. Not my best day.

IC: Gust (CHI)"Shut up."Gust's voice, cold and trembling, came from behind Krayzikk, and when the National Security Adviser turned around, he saw the Toa Techna in tears. It was the first time he had cried since Jade's death."Shut up right now."IC: Esao (Hospital Wing, CHI)"What?" I asked, all thoughts of recovery immediately forgotten; I tried to stand and head up, but I groaned and sank back down. As I looked down, I cursed, noticing that I had torn open one of the bullet wounds. I was bleeding all over my bare chest."No, I don't," I replied, my heart sinking. "When's the last time you saw her...?"-Teezy

IC: Northern VolcanoSo, there seemed to be nothing within the volcano's crater. Arketh turned his attention to the lands around the mountain. Nearby was some city, and far off was the other one. Maybe there was some action going on that he could insert himself in.Yes, he decided, making his way down the volcano with his wings and gateways. Cities were always full of action, and brimming with citizens that he could interact with.

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk impassively stared at Gust. After a long moment, he spoke. "I'm sorry, sir. I was stating a fact, and I failed to take into account the emotional ramifications of the situation, or the effect my words might have."When something occurs that Krayzikk doesn't understand, he will automatically spew out a robotic response. Because if Krayzikk, the real Krayzikk, hand't understood, neither would Krayzikk. His code had been written to so this, to ensure that nothing ever left their perfect soldier incapable of speech.
