IC: Rider
"Ahh Gukko birds! Yes I do know of them. Are you asking me to tame one for you?" Rider said. Raptor then went off to play with the loud Rahkshi. Rider had an idea. He pressed the flat end of his Wakizashi on his arm and stroked it up and down gently, making a nice violin like sound. "Hey! I could help out!" Rider yelled to Metal.
IC: Whakatio
Whakatio looked at the Rahkshi. "If you got range, sure."
IC Vaalku
"I second the notion." He took a seat at the table rather abruptly.
IC: Raptor
Raptor spun over an empty garbage can, waiting a second before starting to hammer out a beat on its upended bottom, thinking about what other parts of his environment could be used to enhance his playing. He nodded to Rider.
"So, yeah, if you can somehow get me a Gukko I'd be really thankful!" he then proceeded Rahking out with his makeshift drums.
IC Vaalku
Vaalku slapped his forehead. "Raptor, you sociopath, please don't make this worse."
IC: Rider
"Wait.. is there something you're not telling me Raptor?"
IC: Raptor
Raptor stopped playing for a few seconds and leaned over to Vaalku, but instead of threatening or saying anything at all he just pulled Vaalku's plate off the table and stuck it upside down next to him. When he hit it with his drumsticks, it made a satisfying ding sound.
"Ah, much better! Oh, and Rider, what do you mean 'something I'm not telling you'?"
IC Vaalku
"Wha- I don't even have a plate yet!" He said rather annoyed.
IC: Rider
"Why did he call you a sociopath?" Rider asked.
IC: Raptor
"I dunno. Why did you, Vaalku?"
IC Vaalku
"Because you bloody are." He said, rather annoyed.
Metal / Refectory, Playing Heavy Metal Rahk IC:
After finishing the final verse of the song, Metal responded, "Wild? Sure, while this might sound wild at first, every bit of my song is perfectly measured!" He did a double take when he saw Rider playing along. Apparently his music was great enough to even turn enemies to friends! The high-pitched string sound coming from the makeshift sword-arm instrument was at first dissonant, but quickly blended beautifully to give an orchestral tone to the music. Metal smiled and launched into the final riff of the song.
IC: Rider
Rider joined in, mixing the violin noise perfectly to the music.
OOC: I know it's not Rock music but all I can think of is this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDhIJV8L_sI
IC Vaalku
Vaalku groaned. He hoped some school authority would come and condemn them for playing like imbeciles.
IC: Fang
Fang clenched his teeth, wishing the awful noise would just stop. Rather than take him down, everyone seemed to be joining this "band."
"We should find somewhere quieter to talk," he said to Mahrika before stepping outside. The slop wasn't that great anyway.
IC: Tube
"Range? I've got range!" Tube jumped up and fired off a few spikes before they could stop themself. Maybe it would be better to not show this Rahkshi their new weapon.
IC: Whakatio
Whakatio dodged them both, rolling and firing a couple of darts at Tube.
IC Vaalku
Wait. That was Fang over there. He watched him, and saw where he headed, intending to catch up with him later.
And now for an experiment. Would an obsessed Rahk be infuriated if you screwed him over mid-song? He fired an electric bolt into the Rahk's guitar.
Metal / Refectory, Playing Heavy Metal Rahk IC:
Metal finished the song with a nice ringing chord, letting Rider end on a nice note on the strings and Raptor get out one last round of drumming. Suddenly a bolt of lightning flew into Metal's guitar, and instead of breaking or shocking Metal, weird physics happened and the electricity gave the axe-guitar a strange but pleasant mechanical ring to it. It sounded so much better than the "acoustic" guitar that it once was, at least with the vocals and the drumming. Taking only a second to rest his voice, Metal started another song, this time letting his new electrified axe-guitar ring out strong and loud.
OOC: Just imagine a metal version of that, Vahki. With vocals. =P
OOC: I meant that they just fired them away, but I can see where you got that. We'll go with it.
IC: Tube
Tube yelped and barely slipped out of the way, some of the darts scratching against their armor. It took them a moment to recover.
OOC: Oh my god someone make it happen
IC: Rider
"Whoa! What happened there?" Rider said, changing the sound up a little bit by speeding up.
IC: Whakatio
Whakatio trained her launchers on Tube, waiting for his next move.
OOC: @Toa of dancing LOL you handled that well.
IC vaalku
Vaalku saw his attempt to wreck the musical instrument only made it better. He began to smash his head into the table repeatedly.
IC: Tube
Tube turned back to their opponent to see the launchers pointed at them. They stumbled backwards to get some room to react, then fired off another few horribly inaccurate spikes.
IC: Whakatio
Whakatio leaned out the way, the spikes whistling past them. She fired a confusion dart at Tube, releasing smoke everywhere.
IC: Raptor
Raptor continued playing, reinvigorated by the new edge to Metal's music.
IC Vaalku
Vaalku had enough. He got up and grabbed his chair.
IC: Raptor
Raptor grinned at Vaalku.
"You wanna play too? I wonder how you'll turn the chair into an instrument!"
IC: Tube
Tube was ready to dodge this one, but wasn't expecting the cloud. They coughed and sputtered, flailing their hands around to try getting it away. Finally, they tried to run off in the direction they remembered their opponent to be in, grabbing their mace and preparing for a charge. But they found they had gotten turned around in the cloud and came out of one side. They looked around to spot the Stasis Rahkshi, then charged after her.
IC: Whakatio
Whakatio had no melee weapon, which was something she really needed. She charged at Tube head on, and threw her fist at Tube's stomach.
IC: Tube
Tube tried swinging the mace, but she was faster, catching them in the stomach and knocking the air out of them. The mace dropped as Tube gasped and stumbled back again.
IC Vaalko
Vaalko groaned. Raptor's obliviousness was really annoying. "No thanks, I can do it myself." He began pulling the metal from the chair and twisting it around until it became a Xylophone. He snatched a couple of spoons as well.
IC: Whakatio
"Hey you alright there?" Whakatio asked, concerned.
IC: Squid
The revelation hit Squid like the rock he tried to hit Green with a while back. He could just use his powers to make the noise! And since he was level three, he could fire small bolts of lightning across a short distance... Squid motioned for everyone to be quiet, lightning flickering in his palm.
IC Vaalku
Sensing an opportunity to intervene, He strengthened the lightning in the other Rahk's palm until it crackled and burst.
IC: Rider
Rider saw Vaalku do this. He came up behind him with a sword to his neck. "Now now now. No need for violence."
IC: Raptor
Raptor looked interestedly at Squid's hands. He'd have to study them later on.
OOC: By study, I don't mean remove and dissect them. Don't worry, Pohatu.
IC: Tube
Tube nodded and straightened up, still gasping. They tried firing another shot.
OOC: If it isn't obvious, Tube's pretty inept at fighting, as well as pretty much everything else. Come to think of it, all my characters aren't that great in combat...
IC Vaalku
Vaalku saw Raptor becoming very interested in Squid's hand after the electricity burst. He shot him a "Stahp it" glare.
IC: Whakatio
This shot hit her on the shoulder, crackling pain in her arm. She fired twice at Tube in retaliation.
IC Poly:
~I'm bored~
You're always bored.
I opened my eyes. The waterfall raged in front of me.
OOC: open for interaction.
IC: Green
If Green had glasses, she'd be doing this with them.
"What is going on..."
Green had forgotten the poor tonal quality of the music in the midst of this chaos.
IC: Squid
After a somewhat annoying burst, Squid was ready to play. He danced the lightning around his hand, creating all sorts of music with the frequencies it produced that sounded otherworldly, unnerving and beautiful at the same time..
