  • IC - Kinika - BioKartHis eyes got wider. Banana peals. Before he knew it, he was spinning. Then, the two front wheels hit the other peals. His cart slid forward at a fast pace, and soon he was riding beside Kirgon.Grasping wildly into his cart, he pulled out a...shore turtle shell? A shell? He didn't care, and chucked the abnormally large shell at Kirgon.

  • Ooc: Oh, they're metal? Odd. Throwing disks on Mata Nui are made of bamboo.Ic: Senegal played the same trick again, snatching the disk midair. But when Kav'Den threw the launcher down, Senegal didn't, instead hurtling the plate right back at the Toa of Ice who shot it at him. While he did that, however, he quickly closed the gap between the two fighters. So Kav'Den had a choice: slammed by his own weapon or battered by his adversary. The audience eagerly wanted to find out which was going to be chosen.

  • Ooc: By shield I suppose you mean the disk Senegal threw back at Kav.Ic: So he's fast, Senegal thought. The ice spikes seemed tricky, but in truth they weren't. An iron rod appeared in his hands and he swung it like a baseball bat, and with the Calix's powers on his side, he easily smashed the three spikes into glitter that quickly melted in the heat. But his swing was far from over, and he followed through with a sweeping blow to Kav'Den's side with the metal cudgel.

The Ko-Toa cringes as the rod slams into his side; sending him flying through the air. Kav'den grunts as he slams into the ground a few feet in front of the stands. Laughter erupts from the crowd as the Toa of Ice stands up, but immediatly wishes he hadn't. There was itleast two ribs cracked, but they weren't bothering him yet.Oh great. This fight's not worth it.Kav'den clenches his teeth before charging in the direction of the being. He throws one of his swords toward the being, intent on slicing through his intestinal area. He yells before sending a dozen more shards toward the being; these a bit more larger than the other ones. No way he's dodging this.-Mef Man

  • Ic: Senegal remained expressionless as his bat drove home and Kav'Den crashed away. He remained stoic as he got up again, but didn't press his edge as some in the audience wanted him to. He was here to win the tournament, not to kill his opponents. Though based off of the Toa of Ice's vigor, he was determined to eliminate Senegal. He was even using elemental energies to see to that end.Pity.It wasn't an official rule, but elemental powers were discouraged and brute force was encouraged, but right now, it really didn't matter. Fighters did what they could to win, and it was generally accepted that Senegal didn't have to do too much to win, though right now he had to answer fire with fire. He dived to the floor to avoid the ice, one hand tossing his metal bar at the flying sword to defect it and another slamming flat on the ground, generating a wall of metal that separated him from Kav'Den. The straggling ice shards were dashed on the wall while a few made it through before it was erected, though they missed the Toa of Iron and landed harmlessly behind him. From behind the wall, Senegal got up and prepared his next move.

  • IC:Bijackal strode forward, as did Divan. Bijackal spoke first. "Every being has a unique energy signature and leaves traces of that energy behind wherever they travel. As a Skakdi, my unique vision power enables me to see those traces, and the traces the so called 'Voriki' leaves behind are indentical to the ones D creates. This is a foolproof method to identify someone, beyond appearance."Divan added, "While I was helping Miraul fight D in Onu-Koro, I was able to implant a tiny amount of mercury in his body-being an uncommon metal, it makes him trackable if he passes within a certain distance. I still sense that mercury in his body, concrete proof of his identity. If you require more concrete proof of such, you can have another Toa of Iron sense and extract it. "Miraul smiled in hopeful triumph, and added," My friends' word is added to my own. Is this enough evidence for you?'

  • Ic: "FUS RO DAH!" Senegal shouted at the top of his lungs, slamming his feet on the wall in front of him. As if urged by unholy energies from the underworld, the wall of iron had liftoff as if it were a ball in a game. The shards were again shattered by the mass of the edifice, and the meteorite had a dive right at Kav'Den.As if uncaring of the result, Senegal simply turned and walked away slowly, confident that that was going to be the end of the match.Ooc: It's not as big as it would seem. It's tall enough to obscure a toa and about as wide, but in terms of thickness not so much. Imagine it as maybe ten inches thick. Still dangerous, but not colossal.

Quietly, he and the armada followed them through the jungle. Not long afterwards, they stopped and hid behind a bush. Around this time, Weta felt a group of strong magnetic influenses up ahead. • Ic: The audience erupted into jubilation from what they saw as a spectacular display, Senegal slowly turned around to see the damage done. Not quite a corpse but far from a healthy man, Kav'Den's body was a stark reminder of the reality behind Senegal's profession. As the technicians moved in to recover Kav'Den from the ring and try to patch him up, the host appeared by his side and whispered in his ear. "Your value just rose fifty percent. The people want to see more of that, Gal," he said."Tell them there's more where that came from," he replied, inwardly knowing the fine line he was walking."The next challenger is--..." Senegal didn't care. He creamed that man with ease, as he did with the next. Tough men who thought they were the ones to best Senegal at his own game, flavors of the moment that soon melted like the ice cones in the sun they were in Senegal's mind. They bore husky names that only served to make their downfall all the more sweet. Finally, however, an odd name. "--Draeverian Jockiir.""Now this better be good," Senegal said to himself under his breath.

"Madness I say, madness!" the Toa of plant life shouted, walking after the two. The he stepped on something, he lifted his foot up and looked at what he had stepped on; a large... goblet thing. Gold too, Jokar guessed it was a piece of the treasure that the other two were going mad over.He picked it up, and looked around; he saw a Le-Matoran hop off a cart similar to the kind that Kirgon and Kinika drove off in, and walked over to him. "I'll pay you for this cart, take this gold," he said, placing the piece of treasure in the Matoran's hands. The Le-Matoran then proceeded to Le-Matoran-Slang his way away from the cart in absolute joy, running off with his treasure. "... I guess it was worth more than the cart," Jokar said, hopping into the cart and taking the reins, driving off after the other two.OOC: No, he's not going to play your game. :P-Jokar

There were a dozen beings locked in combat, most of them toa, and some of them looked in pretty poor condition. More importantly, however, it was difficult to see who was fighting alongside who, and who Weta should support, if anyone. It swiped, and JL blocked with his sword. The massive strength, however, forced him into a crouch. As JL was about to launch a counter-attack, the body seemingly got free will, and turned on one of the undead matoran. JL stood back up, amused. Did one of the spirits do it?He continued watching the area, keeping his weapons electrified. Maybe it really won't be affected by magnetism. He turned, and found the others being flung around thanks to the pulses Echelon was creating. To counteract the movements, they needed pressure of equal force form something, or to just be unaffected. Right now, it was pretty effective, so if they were to counteract the throwing pulses, they would need...Air.And to make if ineffective, Echelon would need to miss.Illusion.He looked up, ducked from a flying undead matoran, and turned towards Torv. He headed over.JL: You can cast illusions, right? Well, if you can cast an illusion towards those 2 Makuta-servants, trick them into missing. Especially Echelon - Make it so that he controls the wrong metal-Make him magnetize his own minions if you can.He gripped his sword, and turned towards Vidar, who seemed to not be doing much. • OOC: sorry, I'm bunnying the announcer.. but I figured its an NPC anyways and I only use them for dialogue. :PIC: Draeverian Joskiir -- I wish I could write this better...As Kav’den hit the floor, Draeverian’s eyelids, hidden behind their ribbon of leather, blinked in concern. The icicle’s screams were certainly not the screams of broken bones; they were the screams of broken honor. Unfortunately, Draeverian had a strange sense he’d soon be uttering the same primal howl.Don’t get so worked up. You’ll lose if you do.Got anything else blatantly obvious I should know? The announcer bellowed his voice above the crowd. The toa of sonics twitched at the sound and decided once and for all the speaker must be of the same element to reach over such amplitude of polyphonic discordance as the crowd around. At the mention of his mutilated family name however, Draeverian groaned.“Joskiir, It’s Jaus-kE-rr. Why doesn’t anyone know how to pronounce my name? It’s not like it’s Skakdi or anything.”He stepped lightly around the participants towards his goal. Raucous sound mellowed to rippled murmurs as the lanky, oddly armored toa slid in through the roped fencing his feet never leaving the ground as he moved forward, scraping slight tracks in the bloodied dirt of the arena. He could here the calm breathing of Senegal, like a giant bull waiting patiently for the fighter to begin.Coughing, the announcer seemed trounced by the anti-hero before him. Draeverian had no particularly buff or dangerous looking traits, save his punk studs and the massive -- dare the man think tuning fork? -- weapon on his right hip.“Jokiir came --““IT’S JOSKIIR!!” Draeverian raged. Snickers came from the crowd. The announcer looked down through his mask holes and muttered, “Hope you get your face rearranged.”“JOKIIR here came from the cold land of ko-wahi, just as this bleeding weakling you saw leaving on the stretcher. Perhaps this man is made of sterner stuff? Bets are on! Place them now while you have the chance.“Once again, I’ll explain the rules,” The announcer continued; “It’s simple: submit and you lose! EVERYTHING IS FAIR GAME!! STTTAAAARRRRRTT!!!”Joskiir smiled. Playing on the crowd was something he could do. Playing with Senegal, he wasn’t quite so sure.“I’m gonna do this my way,” Draeverian said slyly. His mouth was a blur, and in an instant, the matoran around were beatboxing his music, their mouths breaking out the most incredibly fight music since the last time Draeverian had worked with sentient beings. The basses slammed down on the back of their throats, creating a reverb hear all the way to le-koro. Nothing could stop the beat, and the matoran seemed happy enough to apply themselves to whatever the newcomer had done. the beats came in patterns of three, the lilting sway of his melody captivating the ring, the bodies moving with the beat, the sweat dripping from the trees almost like a light rain. Musty, flashing sound trumpeted forth as the choir beat trees, sang deep, and clacked their mouths in unison, creating "The Waltz of Death."“Better than their ugly screams,” Draeverian laughed as he swayed to the beat, waiting.OOC: yes, the waltz of death is an original composition.. I'm planning on actually making music for Draeverian to use and uploading it somewhere...
