  • OOC: how dare you call your leader the gang :P

    IC: Deriksha

Deriksha looked down at the Toa. The doctor began applying big bandages and dressings to the wounds. Suddendly he began doubting his team. Aurorin he barely knew, same for Raszk. Essie posed the biggest threat in the team, being the strongest and the most likely to turn on him. He decided that soon he may, himself, hav to enter Ko-Koro. He certainly had doubts about  calling himself a toa. He was a coward. However he wont tell his teammates about his history. they can mind their own buissness.

    IC (Oreius, Inu)

The Toa of Fire led the way through the icy village, followed by a dozen or so Ko-Matoran, some carrying spears and swords, others carrying whatever vaguely threatening household items they'd managed to grab on their way out the door. The snow fell faster and thicker as the unseen sun sank towards the horizon; Oreius exhaled, and felt the fire in his blood rise as he watched his breath turn to vapour in the air. He let the energy flow through his fingertips and burn its way up the length of his sword; it turned the metal cherry-red and bathed his face in warm light, turning to rain any snowflakes that drifted too close.

Joskander grunted.  "Can't say I'll be able to help much with any heavy lifting, considering, well..." He indicated the marks the Skakdi's laser vision and shield bash had left on his torso.  "Still," he continued, "I guess I'm still fit enough to kick up a small windstorm or two, and if anyone here wants a Kakama, I'll be happy to lend mine out.  :) "

Jevix shivered as a cold wind blew through his workshop. It wasn't the cold that bothered him though. It was the piraka. Recently, their forces had been massing off the coast of his village, and it didn't rub well with him. Although he had always tried to stay out of large conflicts in the past, it didn't look like he had much of a choice this time. He might actually have to fight. This worried him, yet there was nothing he could do about it. Or wait... Maybe there was? With newfound determination, he brought his hammer down...

Forger whirls around, his Kakama activating passively to accelerate his movements.

The air behind him ripples and wavers like heat waves above a furnace as four swords materialize behind him. All aimed directly at the shooter. Quivering like arrows notched and ready to be fired.

    "...how rude."

  • IC Jevix

After finishing a new addition to his tool, Jevix packed up his satchel and got his sled. He was going on a trip to ga-koro. After all, who would be better at making a boat than the ones who live on the water? With that in mind, Jevix opened the door, and stepped out into the freezing cold. The sun was just setting, and a blizzard was starting to materialize. He closed and locked his door, and then set out to the edge of the village. He was going to go on one heck of a sled ride, down mount Ihu to ga-koro. With luck, he would have enough to buy a boat, and be able to gather the materials he would need in ga-koro. When he finally reached the edge of his village, he threw down his sled, and flopped down onto it. Then, he pulled down his goggles, and pushed off with his feet. It was going to be a long night...

  • OOC: VahkiDane, interacting with someone without permission and/or randomly can be construed as rude, but it IS allowed and you ought to role with things like that. Editting posts and changing what happened just makes other posts need to be editted and it ends up fudging the narrative and flow of the topic.

So in the future, try not to redact things. Just roll with things how they happen, interaction is pretty much the point of the game, even if some of the interactees are... Less than willing.

  • Having made it home by nightfall, Jevix entered his home, put the wood on the stove, built part of the frame for the boat, covered it with leaves, and called it a night. When he woke up the next morning, he put the tar on the small part of the watercraft he had finished. He quickly realized, that with the size of the boat he was planning to build, he would need more space. He would need to excavate a celler in his home. Quickly whipping up a sort of drill device, he found a part of his hut that he could use as a stairwell. About 10 feet down, the drill stopped digging! Curious, Jevix threw a rope ladder down the hole, climbed down, and pulled out a lightstone, and examined the cavern he had discovered. It was huge! It went downhill, possibly all the way down Mount Ihu. With this in mind, he carried what small beginning he had of a boat down, and placed it in the cavern. Then, he gathered some lightstones and placed them in the cavern. This was going swell! Satisfied, Jevix climbed back up, and spent the rest of the day building and installing a trapdoor in his hut. Then he went to bed.

  • OOC: What can I say? Tirigath beat me to it. Honestly though, the editing was what got to me. The Outsiders may be a secret organization, but they did set up base near a location that every player in this region has theoretical access to. It would've made sense to have your character see what was going on on his way to the cable car, but yeah, it is usually polite to ask if you can join in as well.

Quick question Cap'n: where does Jevix live? I'm asking because Ko-Koro is currently under siege, BZPTime has been suspended in the city, and it's apparently a couple days' journey between villages.

    Oh, and Razsk? No auto-hitting.

IC: Verulas heard a shot go off, catching Chuckles and the male Fe-Toa react out of the corner of his eye and almost dropping his beer as he thought he heard a voice coming from the top of the tower. A small, red shape the size of a Matoran was learing down at them, and he could've sworn that two swords flew up in the air towards it, but after a moment of trying to get a better view on what was going on, he realised that nothing was there. He turned to the others, who were still drinking and conversing as if nothing had happened because apparently nothing did. He shrugged, raising his mug to take another drink when he noticed that some of the juice he had poured down the unconcious Skakdi's throat was still on his hand and a bit had found its way onto his beverage by extension.

    Great...

He grabbed a piece of his cloak and wiped down the top of his glass before continuing to drink as he watched the Ko-Toa and the Vortixx go at it. The dose that he had ingested wasn't large enough to prevent him from fighting, but he didn't need to be imagining things that weren't there either.

  • IC Tarkah: The Onu-Matoran grumbled from the cold, and pushed the door open to his small, Ko-Koro workshop, and dropped the scrolls he'd been carrying on the desk. "Look, can't we all settle this like civilized people?"

  • IC: The Champion (Obsidian Outpost)

The Toa sheathes his staff and draws his sword. A wise move, for swords are superior weapons. In fact, I would prefer to wield a blade in my hand, if I hadn't used maces for the last few decades. Skill is always more important than equipment, and skill only comes from experience. This Toa doesn't seem like a battle-hardened warrior, but neither does he seem like a complete novice.

    Enough wasting time.

I charge towards the Toa, giving him barely any time to react, because he was only a bio away. I attempt to slam into him, and push with my shield. If he somehow manages to evade my attack, I'll be ready, I have no plan, for no plan survives contact with the enemy. I rely on my instincts, that have been honed to perfection over five decades, I will put this Toa through a trial of strength and skill. If he passes, we shall welcome him with open arms.

I made up the rear guard as I followed behind, largely forgotten by the civilians whose eyes were on the Toa Maru. To be completely frank, I perfectly understood why, but I also felt insignificant. What was I even doing here if the Toa Maru didn't need my help?

Gripping tighter around my swordhilt, I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind as I followed after.

  • IC Veneras

If Veneras wasn't prepared he would have been inclined to activate his kanohi, but this seemed to be a preferred tactic of the Champion and Veneras expected the vortixx to rush again. From the looks of it champion was readying his shield to bash his mask in.

The ground was still slick and covered in ice. In any other region Veneras would have to continue exerting energy to keep it frozen, but this land fostered the cold, here he could devote his focus to replenishing his stamina.

Moving nimbly on the ice, Veneras slid across the cold, rolling past Champion's right side. Sliding to a kneel behind the champion, Veneras knew this was his best opportunity to do some damage. Aiming to cripple the enemy, the zealot slashed his sword towards the back of Champion's leg. He was careful to aim at the knee, between the layers of protosteel armor.

He would need to make an impact.
He needed to make an impression.
