He quickly followed after Gust and Krayzikk, ignoring Edubard who also came with them.

IC: KrayzikkSir, yes sir." Krayzikk said cheerfully, hand on a pistol.IC: Song"...So it's post-traumatic stress disorder?"

IC: Incommodo"It's not THAT bad!" Incommodo shouted. "...Is it?"IC: ReichenbachReichenbach cleared his throat. "Okay, a while back, I ticked off your bosses. Well, I say 'ticked off'; to be honest, I threatened to level your city and watch its people screaming. Heh. That's a nice thought."But, back on topic, they didn't tell you about me. They consider me a legitimate threat — heck, the mention of my name is enough to send them into panic mode — but they didn't tell me about you. I am so dangerous that no-one is allowed to know I exist. So, imagine if there were more people like me. Hundreds. Thousands. The entire population of New Metru-Nui, turned into little copies of me."Now stop imagining. I have the means to make this a reality. How? Now that is a good question. But, it looks like I've just about run out of time here. By-ye!"

IC: Equinox (Bullpen, CHI)"Gust, don't stop this."The Equinox double that had been resting in the CHI mainframe suddenly manifested and stood in front of the three."This is part of the prophecy. Let what happens happen.""There's a security breach in the Citadel, I'm not about to--""You have to. This is very important."-Teezy

IC-Kal:Kal turned to Krayzikk. "Do you have any idea what they're talking about," he asked the robot, "Or are we about to become Jedi?"

IC: Gust (Bullpen, CHI)"Put it up on the big screen," he said bitterly. Equinox put a comforting hand on the Toa Techna of Air's shoulder."This is for the best.""What is? What do you have planned, Equinox?""Just watch."As CHI watched, enraptured, Esao and his team temporarily forgotten, a Glatorian guard walked into the cryogenics chamber of the Citadel, which had been miraculously untouched in the explosion. He moved towards one stasis pod in particular and opened it; Gust's breath caught in his chest as he looked at the face inside. "Jesus Christ..."The Glatorian withdrew two small sapphires from his pocket and placed them over the eyes of the figure within, whispering some undecipherable chant in Umbraean. As the group watched, the room began to glow a deep, deep blue, and a flash of light pulsed through, blinding the cameras for several seconds. When they readjusted, the Glatorian lay on the ground dead, and the sapphires were nowhere to be seen. Instead, a gorgeous, unblemished Glatorian stood up: she was of the element of Iron, her armor a light grey and black with blue-tinged skin underneath and a pair of deep, deep blue irises. She moved over to the Glatorian and checked his vitals before rubbing her hands across her body. In her place sprung up a deep, black leather one-piece jumpsuit, hugging her form extremely tightly."I really am sorry," he said to the shellshocked Gust. "There was no one else we could use.""What have you done to Jade...?""We've given her life. And power. Things she didn't have before today."-Teezy

IC-Kal:Kal watched the video interestedly, then turned back to Krayzikk, nudging the robot in the...ribs."Are you seeing this, too?" He asked the robotic guardian. He already knew the answer if Krayzikk said yes: Well then, I guess we're both insane.

IC: Lekar (NMN)Having decided to not try and die attacking the dragon, Lekar simply moved away. Quickly moved away. Eventually coming to the south edge of the city, he watched the desolate landscape, having nothing better to do. IC: Krash (Krahiza)"OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH!! THIS..... IS..... THE..... Song that never ends! It just goes on and on and on my allies! It never stops, never slows! Always faster, always goes! This is the song that......" Krash had woken up. And was now dragging his backpack, singing his way around Krahzia. AGAIN. "Always faster, always goes! This.. is..."IC: Daykia (CHI)She stood in the doorway form the stairwell, mouth open, eyes staring at the video. "..W..What just happened?"Zakaro

IC: NikarraNikarra heard Reichenbach's announcement. "What in the name of Karzahni was that about?"

IC: Krayzikk"I saw it, but I don't believe it." The robot answered. "She's supposed to be dead."

IC-Kal:"I think we're all going insane," Kal said, then shrugged. "Ah, well, I was insane before so it doesn't make much of a difference." He then stepped over to a microphone."Alright, before I use this, Krayzikk, have Athen chase down that person's computer and destroy it-I don't like people messing with my speakers." Kal waited for a little bit, then grabbed the microphone.In a perfect store-manager's voice, he spoke into it: "Will a Mr. Cysero please come to the Bullpen? We've found your insanity and would like to return it," he said, then turned the mic off.

IC: Equinox (Bullpen, CHI)"And she is. What you see is not Jade. It's--"A loud ripping noise could be heard, as if the world itself was being torn in half by an annoyed toddler who was sabotaging a playmate's favorite toy. The Counter Hacker Initiative as a whole turned, and out from the portal that had emerged in the timestream walked Jade, all dark and Blue Goth and looking hotter than Gust remembered her as."I am Desdemona!" she yelled to the heavens in Jade's voice. "Bow."-Teezy

IC-Kal:Kal looked at Jade/Demon, unsurprised, then turned to Krayzikk."Kill me."

IC: Daykia (CHI)Letting the door slam shut, Daykia unsheathed her twin shortswords and took a battle stance, confusion and fear evidedent in her eyes. "This cannot end well..."Zakaro

IC: Krayzikk"I would, but I'm under strict orders. No killing anyone who isn't an enemy of the state." Krayzikk responded, staring at 'Jade'. "This is bad. Very bad."

IC-Kal:"Can I declare myself to be an Enemy of the State?" Kal asked, looking on at the Jade demon. "Or am I not allowed to do that?"

IC: Krayzikk"No, you can't do that." Krayzikk replied, as he drew his pistols. "But she might qualify."Krayzikk upped his audio output. "Advisor Krayzikk Altair kneels for no one!"

IC: Desdemona (Bullpen, CHI)"This, everybody, is Desdemona. Great Being extraordinaire and all around *****."The Great Being turned to Equinox and walked towards him, drawing a finger along his cheek."Interesting. A man of wax moving as though life was breathed into him. Most...amusing."She flicked her finger across his cheek, drawing a line of purple "blood" littered with binary code, giving the impression of small organisms running through the liquid. She turned her attention to Gust, who was stiffened in rage."And you. This shell...she has feelings for you.""Yes.""Do you reciprocate, mortal?"Gust was silent, staring into the deep blue eyes of this...abomination."Go back to ****, beast.""I will take that as a yes."With a swift kick to the chest, Gust was sent flying back about a hundred feet, flying into the big screen with a heavy thud before falling to the ground.-Teezy

IC-Kal:Kal looked around himself for his weapons, unable to find anything but a slightly-curved hilt with a button on it."What's this thing for?" He muttered, as he pressed the button and felt an automatic, slight drain on his energy as his body sub-consciouly poured plasma into the magnetic field created by the hilt."Ah. Now I see."He then watched Gust get kicked into the big-screen."Yes, Krayzikk," the Toa of Plasma said conversationally, "I do believe she is an enemy of the state."

IC: Krayzikk"I do believe you are right."Krayzikk raised his pistols, aiming at Desdemona. "You just assaulted my boss. Prepare to be terminated right back to Karzahni where you belong."Krayzikk opened fire.

IC: Equinox (Bullpen, CHI)"No!" Gust and Equinox yelled in unison. The virus took off at maximum speed, the bullets thudding into its chest and flying out into a nearby wall. Equinox's chest began to patch itself up, creating the sound of spiders crawling across an abandoned building, and he stood up shakily."We...we need her..."Gust stood back up with the help of an analyst and walked back over to the group."You. Desdemona. Come with me.""I do not take orders from mortals."Gust was quiet, trying to bottle his rage, and when he spoke, it was in a deadly whisper."The father will kill the son."Desdemona's expression grew curious."You speak of the Q'uor-Tal," said the Great Being, her large blue eyes slanting vertically. "You are familiar with the Umbrae prophecies?"Gust cocked his head at Equinox, and she smiled."Well, then, mortal. Perhaps I gave you too little credit. I will follow. But only if we are...alone."-Teezy

IC: Krayzikk"Absolutely not. I am not leaving the two of you alone." Krayzikk crossed his arms. "He is too important for that.""Besides." Athen spoke up. "We're sorta fond of the guy."

IC-Kal:Kal watched what just happened, before stepping into another room. When he came back after a few minutes, he had a small metal box on wheels following him."Everybody," he said to whoever was still in the room, "This is Lak. He is now going to handle anything that involves me and alternate realities, great beings, or anything that potentially can drive me insane within a matter of seconds."The small metallic thing rolled over to Krayzikk, bumping into his foot. Its top opened up, extending a small message pad.On the message, it said this: Kill me.

IC: Desdemona (Bullpen, CHI)"Then you forfeit the help of a Great Being and I will not feel the slightest sadness when the child is butchered.""No!" Gust yelled. "Alright. I'm coming.""Good." She gave a textbook Jade wink at the others."Do not worry, cyborg. I will not kill your leader. The shell's influence is still too powerful for me to overcome, and truth be told, he is rather...appealing...to my senses."-Teezy

IC: Krayzikk"Great. So we've got a **** of a great being, who happens to be inhabiting Gust's former girlfriend, is lusting over him. Terrific."Athens hacked into Lak. The message changed, and it wheeled over to Kal. No. We'd miss ya. Athen.

IC-Kal:Kal looked at the message, then re-exerted control over Lak with his implant and skills he gained whilst imprisoned by hackers, sending the robot over to Desdemona.The message popped up again. Kill me.

IC: Gust (Bullpen, CHI)Gust led Desdemona to the same interrogation room that Esao had used on Unari several hours before, and he watched as she sat in the chair, appraising him."You do not look like the type to be making friends," the Great Being commented.-Teezy

IC: Athen"Better luck next time, Kal. Now if you'll exuuuuuuse me...."

IC-Kal:This time, Lak retreated and came back to Kal, popping up the message. Kal grinned."Why, of course, little buddy," Kal said, pulling out his lightsaber again.

IC: KrayzikkA bullet knocked the sword out of Kal's hand. "No. You are not leaving me to deal with this by myself."

IC-Kal:Kal smiled when his lightsaber was knocked away, the plasma instantly dissipating when not in contact with him. So, instead, he improvised, punting Lak into the wall across from him.The little mouse droid came back, though. Kal shrugged. "Looks like I can't get you, Lak," he said apologetically. Lak seemed to make itself shrug in response.

IC: Gust (Interrogation, CHI)"I have plenty of friends.""Are they your friends or are they your serfs?""I don't know how you ran things back on Spherus Magna in your day, but we don't have serfs here. This is a civilized government.""Really. Civilized. Civilized governments do not employ sociopaths willingly and simply wait as they plot to kill their own children.""You don't know Esao.""But I know the prophecy."-Teezy

OOC: Only gonna post as Twila right now...cause I've completely lost where my other characters are. XDIC: Twila - Krahzia -Twila giggled a little. "Ahh...she pregnant? How cute, that almost makes me want to go easy on her....well...almost."

IC: NikarraNikarra made her way to the bullpen, hoping the others knew something about what had just happened with the speakers.She opened her mouth as she entered, but close it again upon seeing the facial expressions, and a little robot.OOC: Y'know, Grochi, Nikarra would kill Kal...

IC: Gust (Interrogation, CHI)"Very well. Let us just say I help you in your goals. What would I get out of it?""You'd get to live. And thrive."Desdemona's face - no, Jade's face - appeared to twist in concentration."In return, I want your word and your promise on something.""Whatever you need.""I want to live with you. Accompany you on your missions. Learn the ways of this new...irritating world. Be my guide, Gust."Gust's eyebrows raised at the Great Being. One, he had never told her his name, which meant that he clearly had access to Jade's memories. Two...she would be able to follow him wherever he went. That was a recipe for disaster..."Fine. You get to live with me and be my attache, and in return, you help out the New Metru Nui government against the Hackers and the Umbrae."-Teezy

IC: Krash (Krahzia)Krash was still singing, walking, dragging and just generally being annoying. After circleing an apartment for the 36th time, he turned away and headed for the main square, belting out the song at the top of his lungs. "THIS......... IS..... THE....... Song that never ends! It just goes on and on and..."IC: Daykia (CHI)She simply stood there, agape at what had unfolded. Putting her swords back, Daykia sat down. "...I don't even know how to describe this."Zakaro

IC: Nikarra"Judging by your facial expressions, I think I can. Image a scale. At the top we have 'Excellent'. At the bottom, there's 'not good', then there's 50 feet of ****, then there's this."

IC-Kal:Kal sighed, and leaned down to Lak. "Lak," he said, needlessly attempting the little mouse droid's attention, "Go to the main computer hub-find all data you can about Jade, the mission she died on, Gust's interactions within the wall of history, and any known great beings. Now." The little robot beeped, quickly rolling out into another part of the building.Kal stood back up, and stepped over to Krayzikk. "I get the feeling that we're going to end up with more work by the time all of this is done," he said ruefully.

IC: Kal"Kal, I can honestly say I have nothing better to do."Krayzikk shrugged. "I don't eat, I don't sleep, and I sure as karz can't exercise. So what else do I have but work?"IC: Song"Indeed." Song nodded, then turned to Aclaraung. "Now, I would appreciate it if you would introduce yourself. I know your name regardless, but I prefer to remain courteous."

NPC: Computer Systems (CHI)Lak rolled up, beeping loudly and plugging an appendage into the computer mainframe. It buzzed Kal's commands into the system and waited as it circulated...*****Gust was in the middle of the duel when he heard a cry from behind him."Gust!"He turned and saw Jade, waving him down frantically. She began to mouth something, but stopped in shock as a gunshot rang out. As if in slow motion, Gust and Jade both turned to the bullet hole that had pierced through her heart. She blinked in shock and crumpled to the ground. Snapping forward, Gust pulled out his pistol and shot the Hacker in the eye, sending him to the ground with a final yelp of pain. He dropped to the ground beside Jade and frantically tried to stop the bleeding."Hang on, Jade. I got you. Just...just hang on, okay?"Tears began to fall from the eyes of the Toa Techna of Air as he tried in vain to stop the bleeding. Jade grabbed his hand and smiled."Gust...I...I love...you."*****Lak beeped sadly and whirred away from the footage, moving instead to Gust's interaction with the wall of history. Every day, on his lunch break, he accessed Jade, Torch, and Matrapolix's data proflies, holding conversations with them and taking Jade out to dinner several times. Then, finally, it moved on to Desdemona's profile. This was the interesting part.-Teezy
