IC: [Stronin]Stronin snapped his fingers, having realised something."I get it! You guys are expressing your love for each other by trying to kill each other! There's too much tension between you two, so you guys can't express it to each other the usual way!"OOC: Stronin, the King of Trolls.
OOC: o_O Um...IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Ta-Koro):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Ta-Koro):This was enough to make both Henkka and Alex stop. Both of them turned slowly to face Stronin, the expression on their masks very... undescridable."I give up on you", Henkka said finally. He summoned a whirlwind around Alex. "Now Stronin, stay back."
IC: Invisible"Yes, it's down there." Invisible gestured with his beak to a small cave that could just be seen in the wall of the Mangai Volcano.
IC: [Stronin]"So you don't want me to get involved with your lover's spat?" inquired Stronin, before grinning. "Got it."He then turned to face JL."But anyway, why exactly did you shoot A MASSIVE BOLT OF ELECTRICITY INTO MY ARMOUR?!?"
IC: "Well then, what are we waiting for?" he asked. The eagle's beak cracked into the avian version of a smile. It quickly died when he noticed that several Matoran had noticed a group of three talking birds sitting on their Turaga's hut. The villagers were a little confused, to say the least, but they knew that on Mata Nui, rahi doing wierd things were usually sent by Makuta. A particularly brave ta-matoran was about to throw a disk at him when Weta deactivated his mask. His outline wavered, and in place of the eagle stood a tall grey-green toa."Nothing to see here." he commented to the starled passers by. "Just a couple of toa-heroes quick-saving the island." He would often revert to tree-speak when he was nervous. He quickly made his way out of the village and away from staring eyes.
IC: JLJL: I don't think this is relationship counseling. Rather, this is insanity, stupidity and idiocy all together, compelling you to hold others at sword point because they are trying to kill each other. First I don't understand why you would have them being held by a sword if you are trying to get them not to kill each other. That was why I sent the boltin you. Second.... Why not just let them kill each other if they so want it? Death is bad, but it's only when you're being killed without a free will. Rather, they WANT to mess each other up, and from the looks of it, they're happy to let themselves die for the same cause. If it were me, I would simply sit back and enjoy the show until they are both dead, then bring the remains to a Turaga and tell them that these two fools killed each other.
IC: InvisibleInvisible used his Mahiki to turn his hands into claws, so he could scale the rock. If he fell, it would be a long drop followed by a lot of screaming... And burning... And melting... Basically, not the best way to spend an afternoon.
IC: [Stronin]"You know," said Stronin after several seconds of silence as he digested the words of the other Toa. "Do you even have a moral code?"He sighed for a moment, before looking to the skies."I mean, I'm a morally ambiguous thief for Mata Nui's sake, and even I am morally bound to stop people from killing each other!"
IC: They soon reached the cliff into which the cave was set. While Invisible opted for a dangerous climb, Weta reverted to his bird form and flew up to the entrance. After a moment, he flew back down, ready to catch Invisible if the rocks gave way.
IC: InvisibleInvisible climbed successfully down, and created a few footholds for the way back up along the way. He swung into the cave."It's not far in."Meanwhile, unnoticed by Invisible, a pair of red eyes was glowing not far from them...OOC: Yayz, finally something dangerous in the Quest for the... er... bells...
IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Ta-Koro):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Ta-Koro):Henkka was just about to call out to Stronin to make him a sword before leaving them with their quarrel when Alex leaped out of the tornado and crashed into Henkka. He called out a powerful magnetic force to pull all kinds of items, debris and toold flying toward a nearby rock. The swords in Soli's store also flew right out of their place, outside, onto the rock. From that Alex drew a sword and swung it. Henkka tried to do the same, but he could not demagnetize any of the swords. Alex had an advantage now."I won't get into that defeat with honor thing", Alex said. "I've never beaten you in a swordfight. You have never beaten me. But with the sword in my hands only..."He charged. Henkka tried to summon a wind to blow the sword out of his hand, but Alex had magnetized his hand to the sword. Henkka dodged the first strike and then activated his Huna to turn invisible. Alex knew how to deal with this. He looked at Henkka's shadow and listened to his footsteps. Still, Henkka managed to pry free a sword from the rock. The magnetic power had already faded that much. Henkka deactivated his Huna and charged at Alex, sword in hand."Let us see who wins the final match."

OOC: JL, did you just post that AGAIN? And also Tapio, how could Alex and Henkka not notice the swords still stabbed in the ground from Unlimited Blade Works?IC: [Stronin]"I really want to take part in an epic duel," muttered Stronin as he watched Alex and Henkka fight. "But this is their lover's spat, so I won't interfere."He paused, turning to face JL."Now tell me," he said. "Does the term 'morality' mean anything to you?"
OOC: iPad lag.IC: JLJL: Yes. I do what I feel is right at the right time to try and prevent the wrong thing.
IC: [Stronin]"Then tell me," the Toa of Iron continued. "Do you believe stopping two people from killing each other is right?"
IC: JLJL: That would depend on who it is. But most of the time? Yes.
IC: [Stronin]Stronin gestured towards Henkka and Alex, who were currently fighting."Then why prevent me from stopping them?" he asked. "The only reason I am not right now is because they're having a lovers' spat, and I don't get involved in those."
IC: JL JL: Stopping a fight is not by trying to attack them both. And, no. That isn't a lovers spat. It's them, trying to kill each other.
IC: [Stronin]"Well I think they do have lots of unresolved tension between them," remarked Stronin as he looked over towards the two. "And besides, I had already tried talking to them. They weren't listening, so I had to fight them."There was silence for several seconds."...So, should we interfere?"
IC: Weta briefly scanned the cave with his magnetic powers, searching for the metal bell. He sent a quick magnetic pulse and felt our for any metal objects responding to the force. He found it all right, but there was something else too...
IC: InvisibleInvisible noticed what appeared to be some worry on Weta's face."What is it?"
IC: JL He sighed. Lovers spat between two males. Should have been obvious that it wasn't.JL: You take the magnet guy, I'll take the green one.He started to create an electric cage around Henkka, preventing him from getting close to Alex, and vice versa.
IC: [Stronin]"Got it," said Stronin cheerfully, before moving in front of Alex.He focused his energy into the ground, causing metal pillars to emerge from the ground, surrounding the other Toa."Sorry about this," he said apologetically. "But your lover's spat needs to end."
IC: JLEasy, he thought, as he made lightning course through the pillars, disrupting any magnetic pushes.
OOC: How exactly does that work?IC: [Stronin]Stronin had nearly jumped back in surprise when he saw JL channel electricity through his metal pillars, before sighing in relief, remembering that there were no coils around them, so an electromagnet was not formed.
IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Ta-Koro):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Ta-Koro):Alex was not surprised by the iron pillars appearing. He knew Stronin would not stand to remain out of this conflict. Alex was about to smile when suddenly the pillars were charged with electricity. This was a harder thing. Without a mask that could allow flight, Alex could not escape the new prison.Henkka was surprised by the new Toa in their midst. A Toa of Lightning. A Toa who had just created an electric cage around him. Henkka sighed. Why didn't the others understand Alex was evil and needed to be killed or else? Although constricted by the cage, Henkka could still use his powers. He dramatically increased air pressure around JL, not enough to kill him, but enough to cause pain and loss of concentration.
IC: [Stronin]"Okay you two," said Stronin, stepping back to address Alex and Henkka. "Can you guys stop your lovers spat for a while so you can talk to each other about your feelings and reconcile."He paused for a moment, looking over to where JL was hissing in pain."And Henkka, despite the fact that I rather like your choice of being morally ambiguous, please don't try to kill my new morally ambiguous friend."OOC: Catchphrase Get!: Morally Ambiguous.
OOC: Trying to use magnetism on it will be...messed up.IC: JLJL turned towards Henkka, a curious look on his face. After all, he never saw someone try to kill another person so fiercely. All the more reason to keep him inside the electric trap. If they continued fighting, who knows what they would do in Ta-Koro.JL: You're staying inside. Don't try to break out.A sudden pain jolted, as he was hit with air pressure. However, he had faced this before, and while his concentration was muddled, he kept it going around Alex's prison. And then, he went on the move. Sprinting up, he picked up several metal swords impaled in the ground, and before Henkka could react, stabbed them into the ground all around him. He rushed back to the middle of the 2 prisons, and created a stronger charge of circulation. And then, he fired a bolt of electricity at Henkka.JL: You aren't going to escape. You aren't going to fight. You are going to stop, or I will hit you with enough voltage to knock you unconscious and then toss you into the other guy's prison for him to do whatever to you.
IC: [Stronin]"Well seeing that we've gotten that out of the way," said Stronin as he looked from Alex to Henkka. "Let's start with your problems. Don't worry, I'm a licensed psychologist."He paused, before speaking again, this time more sheepish."Well I DID steal a psychologist license, and I did scribble my name onto it."The Iron Toa shook his head, clearing his thoughts."Now Henkka, let's start with you."
IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Ta-Koro):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Ta-Koro):Alex was furious. Stronin was obviously insane and he was not going to take it. He swung his sword hard at the pillar, suffering from a powerful electric shock. After shaking his head to clear it, he struck at the pillar again, still with the same effect."You are not doing this, Stronin!" he yelled. "Even if it takes my life, I will not stay here while you try to talk to us about something you don't know about!"Henkka realized Alex was desperately angry and willing to do anything to stop what was going on. It was amusing to Henkka, slightly, but he knew Alex was dangerous. And what if Alex was teleported to a new place before he could finish him? That was not a good alternative. Preparing himself, Henkka threw himself at the electricity surrounding him. He had done this before once, in a very desperate situation in a land far from Mata Nui. There was a risk of losing consciousness, but Henkka had a strong mind. He screamed as the electricity practically burned his body on the inside. He knew he was doing damage to Voi, not really, himself, but he had to do it. Once out of the prison, Henkka collapsed on the ground, conscious but very weary."You two, stop", he said wearily to JL and Stronin. "Stronin, you fought with me before. You showed a side of you no one had probably never seen before. Both you, know that Alex is evil. If you value Mata Nui and the Three Virtues, you will help me. Attack me and you attack the virtues, Mata Nui, light and the servant of light. It is your decision to make. Your next move will determine who you are."
IC: [Stronin]Stronin was silent for a while as he thought about his next actions. It seemed as if he had to choose between talking the two out of their fight and attacking Alex. He didn't know what to do, something he normally did not suffer from."Why?" he asked, voice cracking slightly. "Why can't you two get along? You've been fighting each other for so long, so you should know each other very well. WHY CAN'T YOU TWO REACH A COMPROMISE!?!"Spikes of metal rose from the earth, reaching out to the heavens, making it seem as if the field had turned into a battleground, a legacy of all the deaths that had occurred."Your world doesn't exist anymore," the Iron Toa whispered in a cold voice, eyes darkening slightly. "You may believe that time snaps back to normal from your actions, for you two have been stuck to its very fabric, but the changes will be permanent. Your attempts at molding it have caused many things to happen differently than in your future."A sword materialised in his hand, and he pointed it over to Alex."I won't help you because you're a servant of Mata Nui," he said, still glaring at both of them. "I'm just helping you because Alex killed a Matoran in front of me, and I despise those who kill innocents."He cocked his head to the side, no longer looking like the carefree thief he was before."Time for a crash course on Chaos Theory."OOC: Epic!Stronin has appeared!
OOC: Meh, too much edits. Hate it when you write something, someone posts barely before you and you have to edit so much....IC: JLJL: OK. You sound like you've adventured through a LOT of things, and that you're sent by Mata Nui. However, you obviously are lying about one thing. You said that you've gone up against monsters. That you know each other. But you don't know about who YOU are. You don't know about you body. From what I can discern, you both are....amateurs. And at a time like this....There should be no amateurs. Only apprentices. You are posessing your current body, and I know that. That also means that I can't prove he is evil. What if you're a liar? We'd be doing a favor if you were evil, to take you down. So prove that you are good, and he is bad. I already know you aren't this person you are having a hold of, so tell me. Who are you. And your body is a Toa of air. His-He pointed at Alex.JL: Is a Toa of Magnetism. That means if he can't move forwards and backwards, he can simply levitate up. You too. But you can prevent him by creating air pressure. So show me that you are good, and show me he is evil. And then he heard what Stronin was saying about Alex killing a matoran, and lowered his sword.JL: Oh. And, fabric of time?.....If you've altered something, or helped do it in the past, you are doing one of 3 scenarios. 1, you are creating a parallel universe. In ours, something is different in the future than in your old one. Its gone. 2, your future is a dark time. It is stuck in the dark time and you are waiting in time for the special thing you must change in order to get a bright time. However, that would have meant that you would die, because you have never happened. Then, you will either have changed your future into a bright, vivid place...Or you have created a paradox. 3, you are here for a reason, and it is in our present, not your future. I hope I helped, but your world is doomed no matter what unless time itself is changed, not what you have been doing, but an event which caused you world. Otherwise, all you have been doing was required - simply to cause your world to end. But, him....He is a fool. And ignorant fool. And...a fool who can't do anything.Electricty formed around Alex, and then, from each of the pole's tips streaked a lightning bolt, all of them reaching the middle, effectively trapping Alex from moving away.JL: You wanted flight. You said you are a master, having faced titans and evils beyond our worst nightmare. So, I ask you, do you have any idea what your current body can do?He thought back to his 2 fights with Echelon, both of which Echelon managed to hold off at least 4 Toa simply using magnetism.JL: Before? Nearly everything to us. Right now? Nothing. I have you trapped and your magnetism is disrupted by my electricity such that it is useless to use it. In fact, you could have just flew out. You have levitation. Simply repel the ground, or create a magnetic wave to push you up. But now? Hahaha. I leave you to the mercy of insane Stronin. He created a gap in the electricity, directly in front of Stronin for him to stride in and beat Alex to a pulp.
OOC: Stronin, feel free to strike for the death of Alex (no smashing to pieces though, I still want to post his dying).IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Ta-Koro):IC (Henkka, in Voi's body, Ta-Koro):Henkka was amazed at Stronin's sudden change of mood, and also at JL's analysis. It was true Henkka had never fully understood the system that kept him and Alex changing the timeline. JL was definately on to something.Alex, on his part, was shocked by what JL had said. Even though Alex truly had been to almost all possible scenarios, this one was turning out to be one he couldn't escape. And all this was caused only by two Toa, one of Iron and one of Lightning. He was so troubled by this he saw Stronin charge too late.
OOC: Very long post about the space-time continuum, paradoxes and the future, but this would turn into a really epic speech trying to get Alex and Henkka to join the Adventurer's Guild. Hehe.IC: JLJL: You may harm him, beat him up...But don't kill him. We don't know what would happen to our timeline....He thought about it for a second.JL: Both of them need to live if our universe is to continue. They were sent back for a reason. I'm guessing this was it. It's time's way of letting itself live - paradox's were created in the past, perhaps even by you two. You were forced to fix it because, if you fail, your future is gone. But you will never be able to fail, because your future happened. And we cannot let you fail. We cannot let you both die, because if you die, the things your future self will save will not happen. 1 without the other and time itself will not work. From what I see, your future had the perfect circumstances to happen because of what you did - without what you do, your future doesn't happen. However, the next problem is - what if your future cannot be altered...Instead, it happened because everything we do to try and alter it simply causes it? And then, if we stop, it is still the cause? That is the most plausible...and that means that if we kill Alex now, it will cause your future. But if we don't kill Alex, it will also cause your future, because that was the correct timeline? Remember, in your time, this had happened already. That means.......We are still free to do whatever we want and your future is not going to change. You are not limited to what you do, you have a free will. The only problem is that you will not be able to influence your future unless you go to the future and fix things there - fix the future, not the past. Because if you cannot change the past, you can only create the future. Then, he stopped. Why did they even bother? Just settle down in a good place, and live until they die. Can they die?JL: But if you change the things after which happened after you became a time traveller...while you will not be changing the future, you will help create it. And if you do things correctly, perhaps what you create will be a good thing. So, right now, you have a choice. Will you die, or will you understand? It will not matter. The past doesn't matter to you at all. You might decide to 'change' things, but you aren't changing, just creating the circumstances for the future....for you to become time travellers. We have free will right now, but it will always turn into your future. He turned towards Alex.JL: Do you want to die...or do you want to help your opposite? Remember, if you die, nothing will happen other than form your future. Your timeline is seperate from the universe's one - you are above it's law. That means if you die in the past, but were in the future in your lifetime, that will not change. You can die and your future will form, or you can live and your future will form. There is no changing; This is your past and whatever we do will just create the future. I don't know my future, and I would rather keep it that way, so therefore, I will not try to change things which will happen, because it will not work. It is going to happen. However, what I can do...is create my future. Everything is a consequence of my choices, and there isn't a wrong one. You say you want to find a way to change your future. It isn't to linger in the past - you have complete free will in the past and it will not change a thing. It is going to happen. You will find that you probably can't kill your younger self. It is time's way of making sure time works - an automatic fix before it happens. He smiled, having found one of life's greatest mysteries....or so he hoped. Truly, nobody knew, but he hoped his guesses were correct.JL: You have free will in both the past and the future. However, what you do now is create the future where you became time travellers, perhaps to fix something there. But to fix it, you aren't doing it in the past. You do it after you became a time traveller because if you don't, the problem is going to stay. It is time. Time caused you to become time travellers, and whatever you fix of your own free will in the past will simply cause the future. Long story short, whatever you do in the past will just cause your future. If you truly want to change it, you must go the after you became time travellers to actually change anything. However, if we kill any one of you, it will also just cause your future. You have free will right now. You can die right now. That is all I can say - you shouldn't believe that you don't have free will, that you must do what you must. The truth is, if you force yourself to fix anything believing you must, it is actually your own free will. It means that so long as you are in the past, you will not change anything. So, as long as you stay in the past, you are part of my present, and you have free will to do anything and it will cause your future. Killing Alex will not do a thing. However, if you live, promise me that you never do anything evil again. If you die, I wouldn't care. However.......He turned around, facing Henkka, and then twisted back.JL: You both might just be matoran. I don't know. But you have thousands of experiences of millions of things. You know how to fight, and how to do it well. You both might have been unable to crack the question about your timeline since forever, but that's because it was you two. My answer to that question is that time itself forced you to live your life like this so time can continue without being destroyed by paradox's. You both are masters. While I may physically defeat both of you, you are so experienced such that if you had a body right now which belonged to you and we fought, if you were Toa I am dead, and if you were Matoran, I am very frustrated. He gripped his sword tighter, his emotions forcing the electrical barriers around Alex to become extremely powerful to the point that a regular Toa would have lost control, but not only did JL have it under control, he had it in nearly the perfect shape, with no fluctuations.JL: I request your help. We have an evil on this island, and me and a friend have formed a guild, bent on helping those facing other evils, and to stop evil. Of course, if you reject, it is fine, but know that it would mean a lot to everyone suffering because of this evil. And...He turned to Alex.JL: There is a lot of hate inside of you. I hope that one day, I can help you vanquish that hate. So, I ask you both, will you join the Adventurer's guild?
OOC: Woah, nice speech! And you had like so many things right, just like I imagine Alex and Henkka to be like. I admire your logic. Although the offer is very tempting, I will not make Alex join the Adventurer's guild, simply because he cannot. He does evil things and even if he turned good (which is also very far-fetched), he would still be forced to do evil instead of good. I always knew I want Alex to die at some point and what would be a better way than letting someone other than Henkka kill him, just right before his eyes? Henkka is another matter, of course, but I have a plan concerning him which might well involve the Adventurer's guild. But right now, I want Stronin to kill Alex. Simply and plainly by stabbing him or something.IC (Alex, in Syyge's body, Ta-Koro):"NO!" Alex shouted in fury as Stronin came closer. He had already lost, he knew it, and it was too much to bear. And still, even now, he refused to listen to JL's suggestion. He was being given a chance to change, to join a greater force and try to right a wrong. But he couldn't.And even if he had agreed, Stronin was already too close.OOC: Anyhow, this is quite epic. But I mean it, Hubert, you can kill Alex with Stronin.
OOC: Ever since I found awesome stories and adventures related to time, my creative mind has always thought about how it works, how it distorts, everything. Today, I reached a conclusion - Thanks to you, dude. :DIC: JLJL sighed. He had been expecting it, but he had hoped Alex would at least change his mind. Nevertheless, JL sat there. He didn't like deaths, but it was part of life. Several of his friends had died, one of which had undied, but Alex wasn't a friend - a hate filled chaotic mastermind. If anyone was to die, he would have been one of them. JL turned towards Henkka.JL: And you? Will you accept my offer, or will you continue in your own adventures?

Tairel mentally sighed as he felt her lips against his. "That helped.""Got that right," he replies, smiling. "We should probably get back to work, but if you have any thing you want to ask me; ask away. I love you and I don't want you to have any doubts in your mind."-Mef Man
OOC: You might want to edit because it says 'I wnat you to have any doubts....'
But I'll still post.IC: Ayra:"Sure," Ayra smiled as she let go of Tairel and moved over to the new patients room. "A new patient? Ga'mal? What are you doing in here?" Ayra asked, astonished.
OOC: Sorry, couldn't concentrate while I was writing.
IC(Ga'mal and Tairel)
Ga'mal looks up from the Vortixx to Ayra and barks a quick,"Leave us alone," before turning back to Ghar-Knel's wounds. She needed time alone with the assassin and she didn't want a Ko-Toa doctor butting into her conversation."What the Karz," mumbles Tairel as he walks into Ga'mal's room as well. He reaches for his sword at the sight of the Vortixx. "Ga'mal, are you-""-Relax, Tairel. He came here to see me (whether he like'd it or not). You two leave us alone. Please."The Ta-Toa sighs before putting his hands on Ayra's shoulders and leading her out of the room. "Come on, I guess we should leave."Once outside, Tairel glances toward Takimoc's office. Did he really want to do what he was thinking? "Ayra, I'll be back. I want to check on Takimoc and make sure he's okay. You're free to come if you want."-Mef Man
