IC: Honnak (Song's apartment)"See, now we're getting somewhere," the Glatorian said. "Private Investigator, detective, whatever you want to call it. Former cop, if you need to know."
IC: Incommodo"I was a detective, once..."
IC: Song"We know, Incommodo." Song sighed. "And I prefer 'private eye', Honnak." It was an age-old argument.
IC: Honnak (Song's apartment)He raised his hand, his mechanical one, indicating he didn't feel like starting that argument again. "Ok, "Private Eye", for Song; then.""Anything else you would like to know?"
IC-Aclaraung:"Do you have any previous military experience?" Aclaraung shot out. "Or were you once a part of a para-military force?"
IC: Pirok [Krahzia]Pirok walked through Krahzia, spinning his sword in his hand. He noticed that he had a call incoming, and sheathed his sword.> Hello?> Hello, Pirok.> Who are you?> My name is Reichenbach.> Never heard of ya.> Too bad.> But I was hoping you could do me a favour.> Really. Imagine that.> My answer is no. Now leave me alone.> But why give me an answer when you don't know the question?> Cuz I have a feeling I won't like it. Goodbye.> Call DisconnectedPirok returned to walking through the streets of Krahzia. He was bored, but he wasn't talking to this 'Reichenbach' guy. He wasn't a puppet.OOC: Pirok is open for interaction.
IC: Krash (Krahzia)"There!" Krash stood looking at a sign, just outside the city. The sign read, 'WELCOME TO KRASHZIA!'. Smiling, Krash returned to the city, changing every sign he could from 'Krahzia' to 'Krashzia'. "Andd.. that's the 576th!"Zakaro
IC: Pirok [Krahzia]A hand tapped Krash's shoulder. "What the heck do you think you're doing?"
IC: Krash (Krahzia)Krash turned, and stared at Pirok for a second, mouth open. Then he twitched, and spoke. "Why, changing the signs of course! They seem to think my name is 'Krah.' IT'S NOT KRAH!!!!!" He was shouting by the end, his eyes pointing in different directions, still smiling that insane smile. His face then relaxed and he slumped over. Krash looked up, and spoke, giggling. "...Hi."Zakaro
IC: Pirok [Krahzia]Pirok sighed, and put his palm against his forehead for a few seconds. When he removed it, he began speaking to Krash. "Look, mate, y'see the way it says 'Krahzia'? It's because this place is called Krahzia. It is not referring to you. Also, although we don't exactly support laws here, it isn't a good idea to go putting graffiti on signs."
OOC: Pirok must have seen a lot to not be freaked out or even effected by that. IC: Krash (Krahzia)".....Really?" he asked, eyebrows turned up and eyes confused. The insane smile stayed, though. IC: Lekar (NMN) Having been bored out of his mind, Lekar re-entered New Metru Nui. He simply began to wander, having nothing to do. IC: Daykia (CHI)"Sir?" Daykia asked hesitantly. She was getting a bit uncomfortable with the silence.Zakaro
OOC: He got shot, and suffered a near-death experience. He also lost the person closest to him, and joined the Hackers.Yeah, he's seen a lot. XD (Besides, he was affected. He facepalmed)IC: Pirok [Krahzia]"Yes, really."
IC: Gust (Cafeteria, The Citadel)Gust was quiet again for several seconds, mulling the reply over."You keep a picture of me?" he finally asked.-Teezy
IC: Hrunja"Very well then."A burst of plasma was promptly fired at the Kranua.
IC: Krash (Krahzia)"Okay!" Krash said. He promptly began to move away, then he turned. "Do ya want a bomb, bud?" He said, taking on yet another accent.Zakaro
OOC: Get a planet.IC: Ezraftin / Housing DistrictAs the Kranua melted into a pile of slag, its corpse burning a whole into the floor, Ezraftin continued forward. He was glad that at least Trakuda had followed as well, but that was still only three Toa against an army of robotic warriors of numerous powers and abilities."One Toa is a match for a legion.""Let's make haste. The sooner we reach Mata-Nui, the sooner we can fix what is wrong. The sooner we can once more have his wisdom and guidance with us once more."-Toa Levacius ZehvorIC: Gust (Cafeteria, The Citadel)Gust was quiet again for several seconds, mulling the reply over."You keep a picture of me?" he finally asked.-Teezy
IC: Hrunja"Sounds good enough."
-==IC: Blade==-Blade growled in desperation, as the weird bat-like things kept flying into his face. He had still been dodging the other attacks, however, he knew he couldn't keep it up for long. He really did not want to be confused, but... He paused, however, as he heard an odd noise. Almost like... A battle cry?"Onward to victory, my friends!" A familiar voice called out. Blade looked up, as that was the direction the voice was coming from, however, the bats simply got in his way. To bystanders, however, they would see the former colonel, Jasrich Curfour, flying on the manta ray that had saved him, even as it dove toward Thazris, a glint in Jasrich's eyes, as his mask glowed."I, who stand in the full light of the heavens, command thee, who opens the gates to Karzahni. Come forth, divine lightning. This ends now! INDIGNATION!" Jasrich yelled out, as the second attempt of that spell against the being of Conjurer's species was initiated. However, this time, he wasn't defenceless, as, for one, he was on a manta ray-like creature, and two, he had an entire squad of manta ray-riding hacker soldiers, all focused on protecting Jasrich, and attempting to keep Thazris occupied, in sight, and cornered. While this happened, a very large glyph appeared beneath Thazris' feet, and in the air surrounding him.The hacker soldiers on the ground recognized the attack, and had to scramble out of it's way, as they knew that he could only protect a handful of them, and the truth was that he was protecting all the soldiers in the sky. As the glyphs were completed, a hint of thunder rumbled throughout the sky, as the spell completed. Jasrich simply smirked knowingly at Thazris, even as a very large, very deadly bolt of lightning crashed down from the sky, causing a very loud bang of thunder, even as the bolt struck the ground where the glyph was... Unless Thazris could teleport, with the soldiers keeping him occupied, there was very little chance he could survive. Blade, however, had had the illusions cleared up just in time to witness the very... odd... method of transportation, and the actual attack itself.OOC: Chekov's gun x2; and a way to finish the fight.I apologize for the epicness, but I can't hear you over ALL THIS AWESOME! Feel free to dodge if you wish, but otherwise, consider this a mercy killing, compared to Meteor Storm/Swarm. =P/EDIT: Adding a few paragraph breaks, this is a large wall of text otherwise. =P
OOC: That... was awesome.IC: Thazris / Krahzia"You have got to be kidding me..." Thazris muttered, stepping to the side and holding his spear before him."What are you doing you fools!" he shrieked, as shots were fired at him from all sides. "I'm on your blasted side! Get thee gone and strike down the prisoners!"The glyph struck down at his feet even as he spoke those words, sending the shimmering light up and along his form. "No!" he shouted, sending blasts of telekinetic energy and attempting to turn to flee. "I don't die like this! This isn't how I die!"He would have said that, but the thoughts never escaped his lips. Lightning travels faster than a running person, and there was no hope of dodging as the bolt of pure energy from the heavens above smote him at that moment. He released a final death scream as his form was incinerated. When the blinding light cleared, all that was left was smoke in the ground, and his spear - though it served no purpose to any other than his kin asides as a weapon - and the Brotherhood of Makuta amulet that had hung around his neck, sitting in the center of the fumes as the last testament to Thazris of the Brotherhood, one of the last surviving servants to still carry their mark openly, even if it was a forgotten one.The world was certainly a better place now.-Toa Levacius Zehvor ![]()
IC: TorchTime: ~0813Leaving Tarei, en route to New Metru Nui"You could go see for yourself," Torch suggested. "It might've been destroyed in the crash-landing, but if it's how I remember it, there's still a dart embedded in your left eye."
IC: Airu (Krahzia)Airu drew his SMG while the Hackers were regrouping and jumped out from his place of cover, moving towards the amulet and plucking it from the ground. The Brotherhood mark was inscribed onto it; maybe they could run it later, see who else was still around from those days...He stalked back to where the Banes were hidden and motioned for them to follow him...IC: Gust (Cafeteria, The Citadel)"You always did give me the sweetest presents," he muttered, motioning to a table where he and Desdemona would sit. The Great Being nodded, still staring curiously, and sat down, dutifully spinning an apple while she waited for Gust. "So, when do you get here?"-Teezy
OOC: That... was equally awesome. =D-==IC: Jasrich//Krahzia==-Jasrich smiled knowingly, as he dropped down to the ground near Blade."Well then, now that that conspirator is dead, why don't we introduce ourselves?" Jasrich asked the Toa of Lightning, who simply looked at Jasrich in shock, and then looked from the charred mark on the ground, and then back to Jasrich."Conspirator?" Blade asked, confused, as Jasrich nodded."Yes. He angered me. And I also have reason to believe he was one of the ones involved in the bombing just now, that temporarily let out a prisoner and the other conspirator. In fact, I also believe the only reason he turned against you at the last moment, was because he was using his cowardly ways, and attempting to kiss up to the other soldiers in an attempt to save himself." Jasrich explained, causing Blade to be shocked, but nodded slowly, but paused."What happened to the other two, anyway?" Blade asked, and Jasrich paused."We... handled things. Nothing to worry about." Jasrich said with the enigmatic smile of his, and Blade was confused, but nodded, even as the Albiore group ran up toward the building. Jasrich hopped onto his manta-ray, and headed down to greet them, even as Blade momentarily snapped out of his confusion, and teleported down after them."Ah, so this is the backup." Jasrich mused, as he thought for a moment, and looked from Kairan to Blade and back."... Intriguing..." Jasrich said, as he looked at the two Toa of Lightning with a curious look on his face, but shook his head moments later."Anyway. You are free to go." Jasrich said with a hand wave, as he began to walk off, causing Blade and Kairan to look at each other in confusion, as Blade ran up to Jasrich, and grabbed his shoulder."What are you on about, old man, free to go?" Blade asked, and Jasrich looked at him with his enigmatic smile, only turning his head enough to see the Toa of Lightning."Exactly what I said. You're free to go... provided you don't pick up any... uninvited guests." Jasrich said, though Blade and Kairan interpreted it more similarly to a threat, and simply watched, as the manta-ray riding Toa of Data walked off, and jumped onto the manta ray when he was far enough away, flying off."... That guy is very weird." Blade muttered, as Kairan scratched his head with a nod.OOC: Aka, "I hated him, so this is more or less an excuse to kill him, and since the only other person who might know isn't in the condition for talking, no-one will know." =P
IC: Emma - KrahziaEmma rolled her eyes, before lifting her scarf up over her nose and mouth, and walking down the gangplank into the darkened city."Alright, here's the plan guys; we get in, find Blade, then get out. Preferably without dying in-between."-Void
OOC: Showtime.--|---------- [iC ~ Blacklight ] --|---------Many secrets were contained within the tunnels and vaults under the Techna-Nui. Amidst this labyrinthine place now crawled droves of Vahki, searching for scrap material to harvest and bring back as supplies to build more allies and help expand the facility. As worker drones moved in to tear apart theses walls, they eventually breached a most bizarre sight - a grove of dead, twisted plans and vines, all wrapped around a great, rune covered stone. Lodged into a rock waited the red crystal sword, Blacklight itself, trapped eternally within the ritually contained stone. The worker drones began taking all pieces of metal they could find in the area. The stone, composed more of protosteel than true rock, was a prime choice, and quickly grabbed. During their mindless haste, they began to rub away that chalk marks of the runes, and scratch those carved into the stone. The sword released a dark, ominous glow...Up above, Ezraftin stopped for a moment, suddenly releasing a shout of agony and dropping to his knees as the sudden influx of evil radiated out from under the groups feet... until it was gone. And the sword with it....A shining light could be seen on the horizon above. Lightning was not the only thing to fall from the sky this night, though while it served the purpose of clearing an enemy of the light, this was the coming of a blade of pure darkness. Like a meteor falling from space above, the blade streaked down into the sky, its movement visible from both Krahzia and New Metru-Nui, a streak of red, a glowing torpedo......until it crashed into the ground near the slopes of the Northern Volcano, near Krahzia. The evil energies within began to echo out across the landscape, and the glowing blade began calling forth to all who would answer its brutal summons. Already, the weak minded servants of darkness were stirring to find it, and soon, the strong would claim it as their own.-Toa Levacius Zehvor ![]()
IC, Kinvex: "Alrighty then, let's go," said Kinvex. Then he looked up into the sky and saw what appeared to be a red falling star. It hit the volcano near the dark city. "Huh. Wonder what that is..."OOC: I must have it! ![]()
OOC: I'll try to get back into this. Anyone near the volcano?IC: Northern VolcanoA gateway opened up a high point near the base of the Northern Volcano, revealing the black, skeletal form of Arketh. The dark specter peered down at his surroundings, then at the distance. That city he saw at the summit long before was closeby, near enough to make out details, and New Metru Nui was no longer in view. After having a few more inspections of this mountain (which proved to him even more an unimportant area of the planet, other than its impressive size), Arketh finally got around to deciding whether or not to visit one of those cities. So many inhabitants to scare... it would be fun.Once more he scanned the area with his almost empty eyes. No one was around here last time, but maybe that had changed during his exploration.
OOC:
IC: Mars swayed from the toa's limbs without a word. She closed her eyes.Darn...Flippin' physical contact. The matoran arched her spine, cracked her knuckles, snapped her neck. She finally nodded once.It wasn't like she actually needed to stretch. But the less he knew, the better.IC: Gust (Cafeteria, The Citadel)"You, uh...you made me a shrine?" asked Gust, forming a small grin against his will. "That's sweet of you."IC: Jasik (Mars' Cell, Tarei)Finally, Jasik popped off the final shackle and Mars fell to the ground; Jasik moved forward with one step and caught her, lifting her up with a gentle smile."Take a minute. IC: Airu (Krahzia)Ducking down behind a piece of rubble knocked off in the battle, Airu caught sight of one of Esao's soldiers from the Techna exploration last night.>Kinvex. It's Airu. I'm in the city.-Teezy
IC, Kinvex: Kinvex suddenly got a call from... Airu? Wonder what he wants, thought Kinvex.>Yo, Airu. What's up?
IC: Airu (Krahzia)>How many people does your ship fit?-Teezy
IC, Kinvex:>... about twenty people. I dunno why we chose a hovercraft so big... OOC: I think that's the number we agreed on. Wasn't it? I can't remember. ![]()
IC: Airu (Krahzia)>Alright, listen. I need safe passage back to New Metru Nui for myself and the Bane family. Ilya Drazen is dead and Ryjak's...unstable. We need to get out of here before things get too heavy to make a clean escape.-Teezy
IC, Kinvex:>Sure thing. We'll come and find you. Can you give me an estimate of your location?
IC: Airu (Krahzia)As Kinvex spoke, a Hacker twitched, slowly regaining consciousness and standing. He drew his gun silently and aimed it at the back of the analyst's head, but the execution was cut off with a scream as a round from a flare gun was fired off into the heart of the Hacker. He pitched to the ground, firing off one round wildly into the air.>Look to your left, said the amused general.-Teezy
IC, Kinvex: Kinvex turned. "Oh. That makes sense..." he said. "Alright, we'll get you guys out of here."
IC: TorchTime: ~0813Outside Tarei, en route to New Metru Nui"Actually, I don't know." The dashboard was cluttered with instruments; dutifully, Torch began searching through them with both eyes and fingers. "I'm trying to find a GPS now-- Ah. Got it." He scanned the miniscule screen, wondering if this was an Umbrae hovercraft and, if so, if the Umbrae all had stellar eyesight. "Uh, I'm about nine, ten minutes away right now according to this device."IC: Gust (Cafeteria, The Citadel)"You always did give me the sweetest presents," he muttered, motioning to a table where he and Desdemona would sit. The Great Being nodded, still staring curiously, and sat down, dutifully spinning an apple while she waited for Gust. "So, when do you get here?"
OOC: My precious...IC: MrorMror had commandeered a hovercraft, and was about to set out with Twila, when he saw something crash into the volcano. And he could feel it calling to him. He turned to Twila. "There's something we need to check. Jason said Esao hadn't left yet, so we have the time."That said, the hovercraft began to move toward the volcano, the whispers growing stronger...
IC: Northern VolcanoSeeing nothing worthy of his time in this direction, Arketh turned to that city close to the volcano. It was a dark-looking city, a place suited for his kind, maybe? Summoning another portal, the winged skeleton appeared closer to the city just by stepping through the "doorway". Yes, he could sense the shadows there... and something else? There were definately strange feelings emanating from around here, reaching out to him. He felt its call, the emotion of desire rising in him, which increased as he closed in on the source. In moments he could identify what he wanted dearly -- he wanted control of great power.
IC: MrorMror climbed out of the hovercraft. He could sense the strange feelings nearby... His implant told him there was another being ahead.Innately, he knew he couldn't let him have it. Whatever it was.
IC: Belthnor:The crystaline being walked through the small avenues of the humble settlement of New Mertu Nui, glancing at the measly shops littered through the makeshift village. It had once been apart of the spaceship, Techna Nui, until its demise, which resulted in a crash landing that left its former shell as a bleak reminder of the old life most were acustomed to. Belthnor, as the tall being had called himself, finished his trip through the village after recieving his rations for his home in the middle of the major powers: Techna and the Hackers. Belthnor was not favoring the Hackers, who used secrecy and terrorism to get their ways. Belthnor hoped he could make a new life without that bane, which struck fear into the naive and helpless. Luckily, he was well protected from such threats as he was essentially a living gamma ray, thanks to his electromagnetic abilities. Radiation worried him much, as he had been a decontaminator for biological and chemical threats in Techna Nui. A thirst was itching down Belthnor's throat, who in turn went back to the village, off to a local bar.
