BZPRPG: Onu-Wahi

OOC: One against four. You might want to get some more friends. :PIC: Onyx, Onu-Wahi catacombsOnyx heard the swinging of the chain in the air, and turned around as it rushed foward. crossing his arms in front of him, the chain slammed into the bracers, sending him skidding fifteen feet away. Roaring for a challenge of combat, Onyx swung his maul.

IC: Garme"I've got a --unpleasant-- Crystal stuck in my leg!"She wailed, clutching her leg and barely keeping herself from screaming in pain.

IC: [Arkrak]"I prefer roast kikanalo," Arkrak replied.

IC: Atiel frowned. "If we ask every being in the Koro, that will effectively broadcast our interest in the Chronicler's Company to the whole Wahi and all of Makuta's spies. Matoran talk." He reminded the others as they walked away from him.

"Wh-what should I do, Garme?" he asks the Matoran while inspecting her leg.-Mef Man

IC: Garme"I don't know! Get the crystal out! Please!"She cried out in pain, her hands tightly clenched onto her leg, the pain making her grip lock up

"You should've stayed back," Savulg says while placing a comforting hand on her cheek. The words weren't an "I told you so" phrase or a way to get on to her. It was more of an apology for not stopping her.With his other hand, he grabs a nearby rock and places it in Garme's mouth."Sorry; just bite down."-Mef Man

IC: GarmeShe bit down on the rock, tears pouring from her eyes due to the pain. She had been through some bad stuff before, but never anything like this.This was how she imagined the pain on having a snake bite dissolve you hand felt, of being crushed to death, of being stabbed to death. This was how she imagined the pain of many of the ways she knew a person could die.And that, brought the thoughts that this too, could be fatal.

Ic: "True," Stannis said, stopping mid-step. "Unless we don't say that's why we're looking for him. Do you have another solution or idea, Atiel?"* * * *Ooc: I'm going to say the buried corpses haven't and can't be brought to life, simply because they were buried and Hiemalis can't establish contact with them, visual or otherwise. Any contact with them has been retconned away from existance.Ic: The dim blue eyes vanished as the bolts disappeared into the abyssal darkness, but no further sign of hit or miss came. The undead miner, however, steamed on, removing his primitive sword from Goolu's back and charging at the ussalry men, proving that either the enemy could literally give life to other things or was still well. Either way, it wasn't good news.As Goolu collapsed to the floor, there seemed to be a change with him, too. His heartlight faded away with his eyes, but just as they vanished, his body turned blue like the other and he rose, a huge gaping hole in his chest serving as a grisly warning of the destiny for anyone who didn't last through this encounter.

IC: [Uyism]Uyism moved forward, swiping her claws at the two undead bodies to keep them off the rest of the group.

IC: Tarnok, Onu-Koro Mine"Orders, sir? Engage toa or undead miners, sir?" Tarnok asked, looking between where the toa was and the undeatoran.

IC - Kol Uskey - CaveKol kept firing, though now at the undead. He barely had it in him to shoot Goolu, who hadn't even had a proper respect after being slain. Unfortunately, there was no time for that. The greatest respect he could pay was bringing him down.

Ic: To Uyism's surprise and shock of the others, however, the corpses were not as weak as one would have expected and were remarkably strong despite their deadness. As if knowing what Uyism was trying to do, they jumped and attacked the four-armed beast in unison, aiming to make it one of them.The creature in the dark, however, suddenly jumped up as if from a slumber, his eyes peering at the soldiers once again. This time, however, he wasn't just watching. A similarly blue and glowing blade emerged near his eyes as he pulled his sword out. The weapon swung from side to side as his eyes bobbed up and down."Sir!" Rubigo shouted in alarm despite looking calm, "I think he's charging us now!"

IC: [Uyism]Uyism's arms shot out, her clawed ones swiping at them to keep them back, while the other two fended them off. Every single instinct in her mind was telling her to run, but she did not, and spat at them, her corrosive saliva affecting their armour.

IC - Kol Uskey - Fight for SurvivalKol dropped his crossbow and grabbed his saperka. If the Ussalry did anything, it was protect their own and the Onu-Matoran. Lunging towards them, he slammed his axe-like weapon at undead Goolu's back.

Ic: The undead men's bodies sizzled as the acid hit and Goolu's back got another huge wound, but they didn't relent, one of them instead grabbing one of Uyism's arms mid-swing, refusing to let go, and the other, as if seeing the success of his undead brother, did the same.

IC: [Uyism]Uyism attacked once more, her other two arms barraging the undead duo with blows to the chest.

IC - Kol Uskey - Cave Kol was also relentless in his counterattack of the living dead. He brought his saperka down, swinging it over his head, in a gruesome attempt to shatter the dead man's skull.

IC: "Rrubigo, Gavarm-vith me! Firre at ze toa!," Koskium cried while aiming. With the trio's combined firepower-that forsaken fool Kol had broken formation to aid the flanks-they could hopefully stop the attacker in his tracks. Even if the thing tried to move to the side and dodge, Rubigo or Gavarm could still try to hit it. "Tarnok-brreak formazhun ant aid Uyism!"By now the matoran had properly angled his repeating crossbow at the pair of glowing blue eyes. He began to crank it steadily, unleashing two bolts in the space of three seconds.

IC: Tarnok, Onu-Koro MineTarnok did just that, riding over to Ulyism and swing his saperka at one of the undead miners, hoping to crush it's skull.

Ic: But the undead felt no pain and felt no fear, taking each pound with a grain of salt and holding firm with their ice cold grips. Kol's saperka missed as the undead creatures gave damage to Uyism in turn, siezing the other arms as they tried to knock them away and bashed at Uyism's face with their own, growling in deep, unnatural voices as they took out all their unholy rage at the being.Rubigo, obliged, shooting his weapon as quickly as he could at the being that he knew was barelling right towards him. Cling the weapon sounded as each bolt was lobbed away. Cling. Cling. But the being still charged as if unaffected by the real projectiles. The toa of ice, as the soldiers determined him to be, however, was being affected, only not how the troops would have wanted. His sword paused in a position, as if aimed at the matoran, and suddenly an equally powerful burst of ice, murky and black from corruption, consumed their line of sight. Only Uyism, Tarnok and Kol were spared from it, the rest of the soldiers suddenly encapsulated by a wall of ice on all sides.And finally, the being revealed himself in the light of the torches. Tall and gaunt, pale and white with bright blue eyes behind a large and ugly mask that looked like a melted Hau, framed by large shoulder plates that rose higher, doubtlessly decorative. His long, thin sword hung loosely in his hand.

IC: [Uyism]Uyism promptly headbutted one of the undead, quickly managing to get free from the duo and move away from them. Then the cold came, and she quickly whirled around to see the being. Her mind quickly supplied her information of what the being was - a Toa. However, it still told her to run, for the Toa exuded malice from every pore on its body.She promptly swore.

Gavarm nods before pulling his crossbow back out and firing at the Toa."I've been wanting to use my girl all day!" cries out Gavarm while firing two arrows at the enemy."It'll be alright," Savulg says to Garme. "Now...I'm sorry for thi, but-hey I wonder how the weather is in Po-Wahi. I mean, it could-" the Vortixx uses the distraction to force the crystal out using his switch blade. He was sure it would hurt, but maybe the distraction didn't make her muscles tense up as badly as before.-Mef Man

OOC: Even though you didn't mention it in your post, I'm going to guess the chain hurt since it managed to send you skidding that far. As in, hurt a lot.IC: WalkerThe chain was being pulled back at high speed and in a second, Walker mimicked his earlier movement, spinning the lasso in the air at Kakama speed and sending another fresh batch of pain as the chain was sent flying at Lexon once more as he moved forward, still keeping his distance.

IC: GarmeShe let out a sharp scream as the crystal was forced from her leg, and the rock in her mouth dropped to the ground. The next thing she said was some rather unpleasant language in a shouting cry. The pain was intense, but she managed to take it without too much pain, she hadn't passed out."Ah... pain..."That was when she noticed Savulg was bleeding."Sav... ow... are you alright?"She asked, wincing as her legs still hurt, and was bleeding.

Savulg looked as if he were going to cry after seeing Garme in so much pain, but he forced the emotions away."What?" he asks while looking down at his gaping wound. "Hey, look at that, I'm bleeding."-Mef Man

IC: Sulov hefted his saperka. "Zliz! Keep mintful of ze enclozt area!"The matoran began to hack away at the wall as Muv charged forwards and back slightly, in time with his short swings. Hopefully the force of their natural strength combined with what little power their ussals were able to generate would allow the trapped soldiers' saperka to chop through the wall quickly...At the very least holes they created would be able to be fired through.

IC: GarmeShe winced as she spoke again, trying and failing to stand up."That doesn't look good... are you feeling alright?"She asked, clearly thinking that his injury would be causing him pain.

IC: "We could not even ask for Taipu Earth-Mover at all," Lepidran said, stroking his chin, "What if we said we had tunnel-block separating us from friends, and we needed a stout earth-mover to help us clear it. They might suggest Taipu."

"No; I'm worried about you," he quickly replies before scooping the Matoran up in his arms and standing up. "Come on; let's go back to the hospital; and this time stay until Walker finishes. We need to get you healed."-Mef Man

IC: Garme"...Alright..."She sighed, cringing as Sav lifted her up."... I'm pretty good at...ow... getting injured, aren't I?"

The Vortixx forces a smile while walking toward the exit of the cave. The truth was that the Vortixx felt like passing out from the pain of his wound. And Garme being hurt again didn't help his emotions. He was glad the being was dead and wanted to help Walker finish the other one off, but Garme was more important than foolish revenge."It's okay; these things...ugh...happen," he forces, hating himself for showing any signs of injury. Turning around, the Vortixx looks toward Walker. "Sorry, Walker," calls out Savulg before disappearing into deeper darkness from the caves.-Mef Man

IC - Kol Uskey - CaveKol slammed at the undead a bit more. He was trying to cleave off his arms. After realizing that wasn't working, he drew his lance. He couldn't let this guy get to Onu-Koro.His next attack was against the back of the undead's head, attempting a spear through it.OOC: Ah, I misread. Here's an edit for ya:IC - Kol - CaveKol then realized how close in proximity he was to the true enemy. It shocked him a bit, he overcame it. He put his spear away and lunged forward feircely, trying to axe his opponent in the knee.

IC: Garme"Yeah, but right now, you're... ow... not in much better condition."She replied, wincing out a smile to Savulg as he carried her."You keep carrying me everywhere.... one of these days, I'll be the one stuck carrying you." She let out a painful sigh, flopping her head over again Saulg."Do... do you think I'm a liability to this team? I keep getting hurt... and I send team moral plummeting..."

IC: Atiel thought for a moment, then chuckled. "Perhaps. For all my skill, deception is something I haven't practiced. I was thinking of something more simple, like asking the Turaga to speak to him for us, if the Turaga refuses to allow us a meeting ourselves."

Ooc: Mef, you do realize you're in an enclosed area of ice and arrows won't do anything, right? Also, KNI... Hiemalis is standing right there, and you're still trifling with the undead creatures? Tsk. That sort of thing gets you killed. * * * *Ic: "We can try that," Stannis agreed, "but suggestions and passing remarks won't exactly get us closer to him. You all try doing that, though. I'll go speak with the turaga."

IC: [Uyism]Uyism slowly settled in a battle stance, making sure the undead were not going to attack her from the corner of her eye, while the rest of her focused on the Toa in front of them. She was somewhat scared, but she would try her best to stop it.

OOC: That's what I get for skimming through posts.

"Don't doubt yourself," he says quickly. "Doubting gets you no where. I think you're great on our team; Karz, I'm sure they think so too," he tries to encourage. Maybe his words would help her; if they did that would be good enough for him. "Besides, my moral is higher when you're around; trust me."Gavarm curses before collecting his wasted arrows and switching to his saperka. He begins to chip away at the wall enclosing them.-Mef Man

IC: Tarnok, Cobat, Onu-Koro MineTarnok drew a dagger and attempted to stab what was once a matoran through the eye, seeing the danger the others were in, he began to fight more viciously to free Ulyism. "If you were free, could you get through that?" Tarnok asked Ulyism, referring to the ice barrier.

IC: Garme"Thanks... Sometimes being a Matoran, I just end up feeling so useless... I couldn't even break that guy's armor..."She replied, smiling a little.
