  • Ic: Danerys trudged down the path to Ga-Koro, exhausted and tired. Rest had been scarce and food was nonexistent for her, but she was almost there. And then when she finally threw herself through the bamboo stand, the village of water lay right before her. But she could not go on. Collapsing, she fell down on the path mere meters from the entrance to the village.Ooc: I'd say open for interaction, but she's more or less asleep, so "interaction" might be a longshot. XD Still, the offer stands.****Senegal remained limp and kept his eyes closed. He breathed through his nose very softly and slowly, making sure he looked very much dead, or near dead at least. Despite being a fighter, he knew the value of a surrender, and so far this was paying off. After all, had he kept up his game underwater, he would have surely lost and died for real. This was the best option.****Antrim had been observing Pontus as he realized what Senegal did and was mildly impressed with him and how he grabbed the limp body of Senegal regardless. Although curious as to why he did it, he did decide not to attack this person. He had done nothing wrong. Yet.He heaved himself onto the nearest dock, taking a chance that the people on this end of the village didn't know who he was. The noise from his emergence caused him to be oblivious to the toa of air who fell into the water behind him, and so he did not respond, however he did stretch a hand out for Pontus and Senegal."Come, take my hand. Let's get you out of there," he said.****The Toa of Iron's mind tensed, but not his body, when he heard that familiar voice. Antrim! he thought to himself. What is he doing now?

Kurik paddles towards the shore of the island, muttering to himself. "Stupid, stupid, stupid! Now I have no clue where in the blazes I am!" He pulls himself out of the water and lays there on the sand, water evaporating off of him from the sunlight. Slowly, he sits up and examines the beach, trying to figure out where he was. Kurik stands up, and heads down the beach to what looks like smoke.OOC: This guy might need some help if anybody comes across him.

  • Ic: Wordlessly, Antrim carried Senegal away and left Pontus to his own fate. He strolled past the busy matoran who were repairing the damages done to the docks by the brutal bard, mentally commending their work ethics and condemning Senegal's. Finally, he arrived at a familiar place: the inn. Opening the door to Senegal's room with his foot, he slammed the heavy brute on the bed and closed the door.He turned around slowly, half expecting the fighter to already be on his feet... but he just remained on the bed. "Alright, Senegal. If you're really dead, prove it," he said, approaching and creating a dagger of crystal in his hand. He raised his hand above Senegal's body and plunged it downward to Senegal's abdomen--And was suddenly stopped by a pair of powerful hands as Senegal's eyes fluttered open and he gasped for breath."I thought so," Antrim remarked, stepping away as he conjured a powerful cage of sharp diamond crystals around Senegal, effectively trapping him. "Now let's talk.""Talk?" Senegal blurted. "You weren't interested in that a little bit ago! You wanted to kill me outright already -- and almost succeeded! Thrice!""Times have changed, Bard," Antrim said, taking a seat in a corner. "Do you deserve to live? ... No. You are more guilty now than you were an hour ago, but I will not kill you. Not here and not now.""I can shatter this cage easily," Senegal said, touching one of the spikes around him. "You know that.""And you would find another just like it! Believe me, you would gain nothing from that. There is no use in escaping." Senegal relaxed in his cage, unable to argue with that. "Now that you know I will not kill you, I want to propose to you," Antrim said."I'm not marrying you," Senegal chided. "Your kind of love ain't my type.""Not marriage, you dolt," Antrim responded. "An offer. I cannot cleanse your soul, but I can make you a different man," he said, and then he tacked on, "If you want.""What do you mean?" Senegal asked, completely confused. "Why would you do anything like that?""While I can't argue that you deserve to die as a sinner, I can stave off your punishment. And I need someone to do the things I am unable to do myself. That I cannot do.""You want me to sin for you," Senegal said in realization, mostly to himself.Antrim sat silently for what seemed to be a long while, toying with his fingers and fingering his sword like a toy, before answering slowly and deliberately. "Yes."

  • Ic: Senegal stared at Antrim for a while, thinking over the proposition offered to him. Serve the man who tried so fervently to kill him only an hour earlier? It seemed like a stupid request, really, and the only thing more foolish than offering that job was taking it. He was interested, if only to figure out more about this Antrim."It's not tempting," he said bluntly. "But before I decide, just why did you try to kill me?""Because you are a sinner--""Why do you try to kill 'sinners'?" Senegal blurted.Antrim was silenced, calculating his answer. "We are toa," he started. "We are here to protect and serve the matoran, to safeguard the three principles of our society: Unity, Duty and Destiny. And yet there are many of our kind who go and commit acts of vile nature, who drink and fight instead of protect and serve. That is not what we are here to do," he scolded indirectly."And you think you protect and serve more than I do?" Senegal said."Absolutely!" Antrim roared. "Look at yourself. You fight in rings, drink late in the night and brawl in bars. You injured and likely killed matoran on the docks earlier today!" he fired with spite in his voice. Realizing this, he paused and composed himself again. "You are the farthest thing from a protector I have seen. It is your kind that I hunt, not for the sake of it, but to cure this island of maladies and make it a greater future.""I serve matoran by providing them entertainment that they demand," Senegal replied. "I satisfy their wishes. I protect them by engaging in the fights they would kill themselves in if they entered. We may do things differently, but we serve the same master in our own ways.""No, we do not," Antrim asserted."How do you protect and serve, Antrim, if you only hunt down those you consider sinners?""I am the lord of my own land," he explained. "There, the matoran live a life of work and survival, but they are protected and are content. The maladies of this world do not touch them with me keeping them safe.""An ant farm to show the unbelievers," Senegal quipped, rolling his eyes. "Is that all you've got?""If you are as hard-hearted as you act, then you serve no use for anyone but yourself. Your lack of vision to the future is dismaying.""An entertainer needs no foresight," Senegal clarified."That is a lie you tell yourself," Antrim scolded. "Every entertainer chooses their profession. You chose your own dark path." They once again sat in silence for a long while. The sun had already set, and the lights of the nightlife buzzed around the village. The muffled sound of the matoran flowed through the town to the inn, penetrating the hut through the open windows.Senegal roared in defiance as he raised his hands and shattered the crystal cage he was in with a burst of iron from both his palms. Antrim's warning of another cage proved false, and there was nothing blocking him from the would-be assassin. He charged forward with all the force of a Muaka, intent on devastating the noble at his most sage moment. It would be over there and then, and he would be free from the threat Antrim posed to his life.He almost succeeded. Antrim was up before Senegal made it to him and parried the crushing blow with his strong arms. Stepping slightly to the side, he delivered a crushing blow to Senegal's abdomen that pounded the metal casing over his heartlight, denting it severely. Senegal doubled over in pain, and Antrim pressed onward, first striking at Senegal's jaw, sending concussive force through his head and putting him into a brief daze. Antrim then delivered a crushing strike with his own head to Senegal's, shattering the Kanohi Calix into ten pieces. He then held him down with one arm and hammered the back of Senegal's head with his other hand over and over and over. Whack, whack, whack, whack he went, each strike bringing Senegal closer and closer to blackness which seemed a certain reality without his Kanohi to give him strength. Finally, Senegal hung limp in Antrim's hand and fell to the floor with a thump. Antrim, however, was struck by the irony of it all as he analyzed his hand. It was red with blood, the very sign that had led him to fight Senegal in the first place, a sign of sin.
