IC: Dodge
"Sure," Dodge shrugged. After all, what's the worst that could happen?
Unless this Abyss was lying to him and had an agenda of his own.
Oh well. They would deal with it if that time came.
IC: Dodge

IC: Abyssium
"You'll help advertise? Or you'll join?" Abyssium asked in a confused tone of voice.
IC: Omega
Omega had ran back to Phogen's group to make sure Fang wasn't beaten up. "Sorry about being gone Phogen. Stuff happened."
IC Phogen
She rolled her eyes. "Feeling vague, are we? Elaborate, Omega." He came from the ruckus off in the hall, and while she was currently preoccupied, it was still a matter of interest to her.
IC: Omega
Omega obediently responded. "Some Rahk was being strangled for the apparent reason being that "she's weak". Me and Bullseye managed to save her."
IC Kat: i followed behind a short distance. Out of the way, but within reach if I was needed. My hand close to Scourge's hilt, ready to strike, if need be. Tensions were high, both for Fang, and Exxan.
This might end badly.
Metal / Gymnasium, Fighting the Twins IC:
Metal stumbled due to the lack of resistance to his attempted fling. Instead, he flung himself right into his opponent. While he did keep the claw from hitting his face, it still scratched his left shoulder pad - thankfully for him, the strange collar-like shape took most of the damage. In the process, Illusive's claw was likely to get tangled rather badly in Metal's cape, which would likely prove problematic for both of them. With a groan, Metal tried to use his position on top of his opponent to twist Illusive's arm hard enough to break it.
IC: Illusive.
But Illusive's claws were not the short ones normal Rahkshi armour was equipped with. Until he'd found Serpent-Fang, they'd been his signature weapon, specifically modified to be larger, sharper, and deadlier, capable of raking gouges in even Rahkshi armour. A little cape was no trouble for him. With an almost-casual flick of the wrist, he shredded the cape entangling his claws, and pulled his hand free.
He took a step back, giving himself room to maneuver Serpent-Fang. Letting the teleporting blade appear as an inch-long spike at the end, he stabbed it like a spear at Metal's chest.
IC: Exxan.
Exxan raised a ridged eyebrow in a clear expression of scepticism. "You saved someone, out of the goodness of your own heart?" That didn't sound like the Omega he knew. Only the night before he'd been trying to strangle Mahrika for not wanting to follow Tridax's orders. Exxan tried to recall Omega's words...
"No! I'm sick of people like this. People who think they are so special because they want to rebel. Well guess what ######? Everyone thinks this way. So shut the ###### up and go realise what the world is."
...oh yeah, that was it. He suddenly remembered why he didn't like Omega. "Liar." he spat the accusation with venom in his voice.
Ic:
Siren hadn't really left the scene, she had just waited to see who might have the best chances of saying something that might give her an advantage. She chose Omega.
After following him for a bit, she saw him run up to one of those level 3 Rahks, Phogen she thought it was.
Upon hearing something about the fight & how she had said "She's weak", she decided to pick up on that.
"She was. She doesn't deserve to be called a Rahkshi."
She then quickly changed position onto a nearby ledge above the group to make sure she couldn't be followed.
IC: (Snakey)
Snake spun round at the sound of the voice, but couldn't see anyone...
He searched. Chameleon, probably...perhaps this was the Wraith he had heard about.
Turning cautiously back, he said: "Omega, who was it?"
IC Kat: I rounded on the voice, but saw nothing.
That wasn't Wraith. Wraith sounded different, and moved a certain way. It was hard to see, but if you were actively searching for her, there she was. I still wasn't sure how that worked.
But that meant there was someone else who snuck around.
"How about you come out so we can see you."
I kept my eyes peeled for any glimmer of movement.
IC: Dodge
"Advertise. I'm not sure about joining yet."
IC: Squid
Relieved that the debacle ended without further conflict, Squid went back into the room.
OOC: Yay! I'm back early!
IC: Omega
"Shut the up Exxan. The cloaker's name was... Siren I think." Omega said.
IC: Hoto
Hoto gladly followed Phogen with a confident feeling. Phogen had diffused this fight as well, maybe it would go as well with Fang. She hated all of this conflict, even between those that should be friends, like Exxan and Phogen.
At the sound of the new voice, Hoto turned directly to the source, unaware the others couldn't see the Rahk. She narrowed her eyes and stepped up to them. "What gives you the right to say that?" She demanded.
IC: Tube
Tube sat shyly next to Whakatio. Checkers seemed occupied in his reading, but Tube had never found much enjoyment in books. Most of those little scribbles didn't make any sense, though the pictures were fun to look at.
Tube swung their feet in boredom. Whakatio had her launcher to play with, but Tube had no idea what theirs did. They decided to break the silence.
"So... where'd you get the guns?"
OOC: Gonna wait for Siren to respond to Kat/Hoto before posting.
IC: Whakatio
"Got 'em off my friend Recoil. Never been one for sniping so she made me some smaller ones for dual wielding." Whakatio said, spinning her guns around on her fingers.
Ic:
"She simply is in all she is worth. Worthless." Siren responded to Hoto, then moved on along the platform.
OOC: Well, looks like I have internet access after all
IC: Jayar / His room
As he finished his poem, Jayar heard a clamor out in the hallway. He lifted his mattress from the frame of the bed and returned his book to its hiding place, then rushed out the door to see what was going on now. By the time he got through the hallway to the site of the commotion, however, he was just in time to see an entirely white Rahkshi being carried to the infirmary. Too late to help.
As a result of this excursion, however, he also noticed that Squid's diplomacy class was apparently on again. He knocked on the door and poked his head into Squid's room. "May I join your diplomacy class?" he asked the Rahkshi of Chain Lightning, barely noticing his small size after having encountered Short.
IC: Bullseye
Wondering why Toxin wasn't around for a while, he went to the gym to check on him.
IC: Toxin
Toxin attempted to get to the infirmary but as soon as he was a few steps away from there, he fainted due to the lack of blood.
OOC: Toxin's bleeding out here...
IC: Coryn
Coryn straightened up, and but his book up on the shelf. He straightened his bow tie and headed towards the dorms.
OCC: Coryn forgot to pay attention, I sure hope he doesn't run into trouble.
IC: (Wraith)
From an outside perspective, at least, Wraith never got bored, never even got disinterested. The closest thing she got to that, was the "feeling that the current situation or task has offered it's maximum useful resources or information". In the stuffy library, where the idiotic Tube and the arrogant Chequars went about their petty lives, Wraith had this feeling.
She had scoured most of the books in the entire library, and although she could finish the job now, Wraith appeared to feel that that was not the most productive use of her time at the moment.
She went to find Siren.
IC: (Snakey)
A slight bit of the background seemed to Snake to be shifting, moving. Incidentally, that seemed to be the same bit that Hoto was focusing on...
"Cover your audio receptors." He muttered, just loud enough for Phogen and the others to hear, but hopefully not this stealthy opponent.
With a fluid movement, Snake drew out Whisper's Bane, leveling the silver bow at the blur. The enemy wouldn't suspect the bow without an arrow to be a threat until too late.
IC: Omega
"Shut the ###### up Exxan. The cloaker's name was... Siren I think." Omega said.
IC: Exxan.
Exxan glared daggers at Omega. Nope, the little hadn't changed in the slightest. Still desperat for attention and approval. He thought he was impressing Phogen with his tales of heroism and selflessness? He'd probably just her off by mouthing off at Exxan.
"I think you should reconsider that statement," Exxan suggested smoothly, stepping closer to Phogen's side.
IC: Omega
"Reconsider what? Hating you? How about you stop treating me like and I will. stuck up little ."

Ic:
"She simply is in all she is worth. Worthless." Siren responded to Hoto, then moved on along the platform.
IC Phogen
Phogen took this all in with a silent mouth, seeing her little band of followers interact naturally, showing off their subtle tics, their slight facial changes, all the little things that made their internal goals known. As she watched Hoto follow the noise down the platform, she remarked "What a small-minded poltergeist."
Phogen stopped her little trope just short of the refractory. "Alright. We are not going to spook him. I am going in and getting something to drink. They are serving chocolate-spiked Nui-Jaga blood for the holidays, so thats my reason for heading in. Hoto, you come in a little after, with Kat as an escort. The peanut gallery will wait here for an all-clear. Understood?"
"Both of you, knock it off. Omega, good for you, but your selective insanity is becoming too selective to be beyond suspicion. Check your tounge, and check your temper."
IC: Omega
"Shut the ###### up Exxan. The cloaker's name was... Siren I think." Omega said.
IC: Exxan.
Exxan glared daggers at Omega. Nope, the little ###### hadn't changed in the slightest. Still desperat for attention and approval. He thought he was impressing Phogen with his tales of heroism and selflessness? He'd probably just ###### her off by mouthing off at Exxan.
"I think you should reconsider that statement," Exxan suggested smoothly, stepping closer to Phogen's side.
IC: Exxan.
Exxan ignored Omega's rather pathetic insults, then turned to Phogen.
"Fine, I'll wait."
IC: Omega
Omega glared at Exxan. "Fine.". He was beginning to regret not killing the little ###### in the first place.
IC: Hoto
But Hoto wasn't finished with the ghostly Rahk yet. She ran after and snatched an arm. "You have no right to say that!"
She was quivering in anger, her mind on the very similar things her hatch-mates had said to her. Luckily, she still heard Snake's warning and released them to throw her hands up to her audio receptors.
OOC: Going to go for a bit, I'll post Tube when I get back.
Ic:
"Your bow doesn't scare me you know. Not loading an arrow gave it away." Siren said to Snakey.
"Poltergeist? I am nearly doing what would be best for the future of serving under Makuta." Siren continued to Phogen.
IC Kat. I took my place by Hoto, and nodded. "All set."
I ignored the seemingly invisible Rahkshi for now. Other than talking smack about another Rahkshi, they seemed harmless.
IC: Omega
"You again?! Can't you learn to off?"
Ic:
"Your bow doesn't scare me you know. Not loading an arrow gave it away." Siren said to Snakey.
"Poltergeist? I am nearly doing what would be best for the future of serving under Makuta." Siren continued to Phogen.
Phogen prepped her receptors idly with sonic distortion. He cooed back "Then let him weed out the weak. Waste not your time on it. You may make a very, very poor assumption on the nature of weakness." He smiled at Hoto, knowing the proof was right there, gripping the ghoulish Rahk.
IC: (Snakey)
"Did anyone bloody hear me?!"
Snake fired Whisper's Bane...he remembered to cover his ears.
As the bolt of incredibly concentrated sonic energy impacted the blur, (which was very close) or somewhere near it, the energy exploded outwards. Anyone not covering their ears probably wouldn't be able to hear for the next half an hour at this range, while anyone as close as Snake was would go off with a splitting headache, covered ears or not.
Snake and Hoto, closest to the blast, were literally knocked backwards, while the reverberation was felt by all.
If it had been a direct hit, this "Siren's" armour would be smashed apart...if not, they would at least be out cold.
IC: Jayar / Squid's Room
Before Squid could answer, a metallic crash resounded from the hallway. Jayar looked out the door and saw that a Rahkshi of Poison had collapsed on the ground.
"Erm, better make that 'can I join your class as soon as I bring him to the infirmary. Sorry." Said Jayar, retreating from Squid's room and into the hallway.
Realizing the Lerahk was bleeding, Jayar ducked into a vacant room and grabbed the sheets off the bed. The porters would replace them later. He tied them tightly around the fallen Rahkshi's wounds before picking him up and delivering him to Palma's care in the infirmary. He then returned to Squid's room. The whole thing has taken maybe five minutes.
"I apologize. I could not leave an injured Rahkshi there to die. I hope I can still join your class?" He asked Squid.
IC: Green
"Okay..." Green began walking through the kitchen door. If she wasn't allowed in here, she'd find out very soon.
IC: Exxan.
"Weakness?" Exxan scoffed, "There's no such thing. Anyone can become powerful, giving the right drive. Two days ago, I was an awkward, hapless nerd who preferred to never leave his library. Look at me now. Level three. You don't have the right to judge others until they've had a chance to prove their worth. No one does."
The sonic wave suddenly exploded through the hall, and he clamped his hands over his ears, cringing. As the sound faded, his ears still ringing, he straightened to his feet and looked around. "What was that?" his voice came out fuzzy, muffled.
IC: Omega
Omega heard Snakey just at the last minute and he prepped his ears. The sound was the loudest thing he had ever heard in his life. He gripped his ears, enduring.
Ic:
She didn't see the string being pulled back, being distracted with Phogen. She did however hear the arrow being released. She turned to see an arrow whistling through the air towards her.
It hit the wall next to her, and then everything happened at once.
The arrow exploded, she was deafened, she was flung back, she hit the ground, she uncloaked, she saw lying next to her her arm.
"Oh sw-" she blacked out.
Perhaps choosing a prototype version if the armour wasn't the best idea.
IC: Omega
"Believe me now? Huh Exxan?!" Omega said, angrily.
IC: Chekquars (Library)
Ah. That was what he was looking for.
Taking a seat at one of the tables-the closest one to the wall, of course, and with the wall behind him-the mastermind-in-the-making glanced over at his two minions before slipping a claw under the cover and opening the tome. An Early History of the Universe seemed appropriate enough to look for a group or team name to draw inspiration from, though the book below it would be better for actual base-building.
With one last look around, checking on both his minions and whom Chekquars assumed was Wraith, barely visible as she glided through the shelves, the Darkness Rahkshi began skimming the pages, looking mainly at groups, their name, and what they stood for.
The boom that was Whisper's Bane firing and hitting somewhat registered, but he dismissed it quickly enough. Probably was of no consequence, anyway.
Zakaro
IC: Exxan.
Exxan vaguely heard Omega's words. "I'm not going to have this argument with you right now." He was seething. That idiot Snake had just ruined the entire plan. They were just outside the refectory. That explosion of noise was bound to make everyone inside - namely Fang - come running.
IC Phogen
She motioned to Omega and Snake, the audio field vanishing. "Get spooky there to the infirmary." He went over to Hoto, kneeling down next to her and checking for injury. "Hoto, are you alright there?"
She motioned to Kat. "You. Get in there and calm Fang down. Tell him we are coming. Whatever he wants to hear. We cannot have a further crisis on our hands
