IC: Pirok & ProditorPirok walked back, then took the Tryna from Torv, so he could wear his Mahiki again."Proditor; Come on. We're going to Ga-Koro and getting a boat before we head to the Kumu Islets after Pulse.""Alright then." Proditor set off towards Ga-Koro, Pirok not far behind.OOC: Proditor and Pirok to Ga-Wahi.
OOC: So who does that leave still with the group? Invisible, Weta and Torv are still here, but Mataiti will probably follow Pirok to Ga-wahi. JL has already gone to Ko-wahi.IC: "Good luck" Weat called after the two toa. Someone like Pulse shouldn't be allowed to run free on the island. He could cause way too much damage. This was why Weta had chosen to stay here instead of going after the criuminal. He thought it was more important to find and disable the bells. If they were set to ring at a frequency that might cause various types of rahi to attack and destroy, then they were his priority."So, let's get going, shall we?" he asked. "Those bells won't know what's hit them find themselves."OOC: Resisted the urge to make a terrible pun.
OOC: Good on ya', mate. :PIC: Invisible"Alright then. Will we take the Ta-Koro tunnel of the Highway, then?" Invisible asked.
IC: "That sounds like a good plan" Weta replied. "We can go in a straught line under the Mangai and avoid tripping over logs all the time." Then he looked around at the other two toa standing next to him, and had a flash of inspiration. "Wait a minute, we're all mahiki users! We don't even have to walk when we can shapeshift." To demonstrate what he meant, Weta triggered him mask power and turned into a toa-sized bird."SQUARK" he said, and flew off towards Ta-wahi.OOC: Weta-bird to Ta-wahi.
OOC: Invisible hasn't quite mastered his Mahiki yet, FYI.IC: InvisibleIn an attempt to copy Weta, Invisible used his Mahiki. He ended up as a Toa with feathers, and wings instead of arms.Deciding that was good enough, he flew after Weta.OOC: Invisible to Ta-Wahi.
IC:Sisk cursed. Merror apparently hadn't heard him and now he had vanished into the tunnel that led to Onu-Wahi. Which wasn't good. Leaf-running wouldn't work down there and he hated running on solid ground. With another curse, he jumped to the side, grabbing a vine. He carefully slid down it's length until he his feet hit the ground. He had not counted on the stone lying there though. The next instant, he found himself face down in the dirt. His face was throbbing, but he had no time to lose. He climbed back up to his feet and followed Merror into the darkness.
IC: Perkahn finally found it. He wasted no time in mashing the leaves, and no time in going back, opening Neirak's mouth by force, and pushing the mashed leaves down his throat.
IC(Alissita)
The Matoran of Electricity begins to cry as she cradles her master's head on her lap. She looks around for the other drunken being. Where was he?!"Over here!" she calls out at the sound of a being's voice. They had been calling Neirak, but who were they? She had no time to think about it as the drunk comes back with the certain leaves. They were soon in Alissita's master's mouth. All they could do now was wait...-Mef Man
IC(Mardi): The toa of the green heard Over Here, and had begun running faster in that direction. She finally reached the area. "Okay...okay...found you...gasp..."
IC - Neirak - ForestThe Toa immediately snapped up, coughing."Oh, spirits that tasted horrible." he groaned. Then a shrug. "Suppose I can't complain, though." He glanced back at Perkahn."Thank you." he said.
IC: "When I speak against killing I speak against the killing of self-aware beings on purpose. I understand that accidents do happen, but I don't believe in killing for self-defense. Rahi don't nessicarily count-we do need food on occasion. Though Makuta is obviously the biggest threat, even if D is against him, that doesn't mean he doesn't need to be punished for his past actions. Perhaps he has already payed his dues, but I don't know that for certain. What were you even up to that you were facing an hired klller in Xa-Koro anyways?" Miraul began to answer. He continued, "As for the evidence we can produce, Divan mentioned it earlier-the mercury he managed to plant in D's body earlier can be extracted for confirmation of his identity, though you should leave some for future identification. This is a trip for justice, not vengance. Also, on the subject of- 'I don't know's-you do know now. I didn't know much at the time, and Ferrin's dead now, so I do have an excuse. But you know more about his past now, so the same excuse doesn't apply to you. I would have prevented Ferrin from doing as he did were it not for an annoying Toa of Sonics. As for attacking you-I am new to being leader-that may have been a mistake on my part. There may be someone else who can serve the penalty for D's crimes, however. It is for them I go on the hunt. Speaking of hunts, I need my best hunter. Bijackal!"IC (Madrihk):"I find it ridiculous that you are writing off your criminal associate with "I didn't know", while the same can be said for me and mine. Nothing has been proven, apart from you being a trigger-happy bunch. Heck, the guy wanted to kill D, you said so yourself. And yet you let him drag D away. Murder through inaction, I would say, if that had actually happened. I haven't yet seen a shred of this "evidence" you claim to have, by the way. What sort of evidence can "my Toa of Iron" produce?""Furthermore: If killing makes us not Toa, then none of us are Toa. Barely any Toa of the island is worthy of the tile then. We have killed Rahi. We killed Ferrin. We killed his smugglers that tried to kill us. So fine, we are not Toa. We can still do what's right with what we have. Don't speak to me about morals and justice, when you obviously don't comprehend what's going on here. The Makuta is our biggest threat, a threat that overshadows as good as everything else. Until I personally see D go crazy and try to murder people, he is as much a member of this team as anyone else; a team that works to counteract Makuta's destruction through creation. If anything, he's already payed his dues by being beaten to near death not once but twice since we started, fighting for what's right. I also think you missed the part where he saved my life from an assassin in Xa-Koro. Alfon, Kethrye, Ledzel, Onyx... these have all been vital to keeping me alive, from Rahi in the forest and from Ferrin. Trakuda, Conteriam, Solia... vital assets to our job. I trust each of these people with my life, even D. So again: You can take your logic and shove it.""I dare say that no matter what, my team will end up doing more well for this island with our village and trade route than your pathetic little trip for vengeance. Due to the Makuta's reign, this is lawless land, regardless. You have no authority here. As future village leader, I shall hold the right to decide what to do with criminals. I have already told you: You can stay and observe. Get the right authorities out here to speak with us if needed. But you will not hinder my village construction any further. So stay, and help, or leave now. Either way it will be much more productive than whatever good you think you're doing right now."IC:" I had no idea Ferrin was a crime lord-for all I know, without validating information, he could still be an innocent buisnessman. Other than the fact that he wanted to kill D, I know next to nothing about him. And trust me, had I been here a few minutes earlier, due to my encounter with a...sonic obstacle... I likely would have broken up your fight to clarify the situation first. Which would have resulted in no deaths, I might add. Anyone who is willing to kill is not worthy of the title 'Toa'. Neither is someone who harbors a murderer when persented with evidence of the fact, somthing Divan or your Toa of Iron can clearly prove, without agreeing to deliver some justice. I offered you the chance to send one of your own and myself with him to stand trial justly, somthing that would have only slowed your construction efforts, not stopped him. You turned it down. I firmly believe that justice should be delivered swiftly without leathalities. D caused pain for those who knew those he killed, and he deserves to pay the price for it, though that price should not be death. Because you turned down my offer, I chose to fight for what's right, in an attempt to capture D and bring him to Onu-Koro. I suggest we take Alfon's idea and all go."OOC: WIll finish post tonight. My dad is insisting I get time outside.
IC: MekrofOh, by Makuta's backside, he was lost again. This whole [censored] jungle was just a maze of trees and paths and bushes and leaves and Mata Nui knows what! Mekrof grumbled as he weaved through the thick jungle. He swore that he was walking in circles. He must have passed that elevator eight times in the past four hours. And it was getting dark. Well, looks like it was a perfect time to set this place ablaze. The Skakdi of Gravity knelt down and took out his pistol. Now, if he had paid attention to the class on Xia about how these things worked, he would know that when the gun was cocked, it would make a spark. If he field stripped the pistol, and used the flint and hammer as a makeshift lighter..."Aha!" Mekrof exclaimed. "Here we are."He gathered a few dry twigs and some dead leaves (they weren't hard to find) and arranged them in a large pile. If only he had some sort of flammable liquid like alcohol, he would be able to make the blaze a bit bigger. But time was running short. He clicked the hammer once. A spark floated into the air. Hm. He would have to be patient for this to work.
IC(Alissita)
"Master!" exclaims the Matoran while holding her master in her arms. "I'm so glad you're alive, Master!"-Mef Man
I.C. VompranDoes this mean they are quick-leaving? He asked himself.
IC: MekrofMekrof worked and worked for at least ten minutes before a twig caught fire. Then another one. A few leaves. And it went out.He looked up and yelled a swear. So much hard work. But back to it. He tried for another half of trying, a few failures, but right now, he had a good blaze going. Then, the blaze spread. The fire leaped up onto the pile of twigs and leaves. It became a beacon in the night. But then, it spread onto the ground. All according to plan. Mekrof stepped back. In about five minutes, the fire had spread ten feet from the original pile. A nearby dead tree had gone up. It was getting a bit violent, now.CRACK! CRASH!The dead tree had fallen down! And the patch of leaves at Mekrof's feet had been replaced by a giant blazing log. He ran as the area came up in a blazing inferno. In about an hour, a fifth of this Karz-hole jungle would be ablaze. He smiled an evil, smile, twisted at the corners of his mouth, his Skakdi teeth glowing in the night. And laughed.
IC: A black Skakdi burst forth from the woods. He carried a limp Takamaz, whom he handed off to Vilak."Axana?" inquired Miraul.Bijackal only tapped one ear and pointed to the other.Miraul nodded as Divan picked up Bijackal. He picked up Hikari.A second later, Takamaz groaned,"Why is there smoke in that direction?" as he woke up.Miraul said, "Change of plans-we find out what's causing that. Then we take care of our enemies-not here, that is."Within seconds, Vilak and Miraul led the charge towards the smoke.OOC:That's you, Solaris.
IC: MekrofThere was a rustling. Oh, great, people. They would get the wrong idea and try to put it out...Or maybe they wouldn't.Either way, Mekrof reassembled his pistol and kept it at hand. You never know when you might have to fight your way out of a swamp-ridden, bug-filled jungle. Maybe he should do a bit more exploring if he survived the fire.
IC: AlfonAs the enemy group left, a sudden sense of relief burst inside of Alfon and he lay down on his back, sighing. Finally, no more fighting for a while now that they could get to building their new settlement. Ledzel was back, everyone was in good shape, no permanent damage was caused and his brother was here. Yes, it was a good day.
IC: Alfon"Karz no, we haven't had a single break today. First a storm that nearly killed us all, Ferrin comes along and then these guys show up. I'd settle for a single building being made right now and we sleep until tommorow...sleep..."Alfon soon drifted into peaceful thoughts of a nice warm bed, a pillow and falling asleep.
IC(Ledzel)
"Take us down, Kirbati, it's over," says the Toa of Stone as he watches the enemy flee. He didn't get the chance to fight, though. Oh well; atleast they were all in one piece.-Mef Man
IC: AlfonStill laying down on his back and starring at the sky with dreamy eyes, Alfon lifted up his index finger and flexed it back and forth to Ledzel, indicating for him to come over here.
IC; " Well, yeh. That's what I meant; a single building, hopefully that won't take us very long so we can all get some rest." Kethrye replied to Alfon. " I doubt any of us are ready to really start building a whole village. Especially after everything that has happened today."
IC: Five Toa and a Skakdi appeared from the bushes. One muttered, "When will people learn that fire should be left to those who can control fire?" The blaze lept towards his hands, rapidly coming under control as he began to absorb the excess, reducing it to a large bonfire. Bijackal turned to the member of his own kind and said,"Who are you and what are you doing out here?"
IC: Kirbati:"Yes, Ledzel," Kirbati replied as he desended.
IC(Ledzel)
"Thanks," Ledzel says to Kirbati when their feet touch the ground. The Toa of Stone, seeing Alfon's finger crooking toward him, walks toward the being and asks,"What's up?"-Mef Man
IC: AlfonSwiftly, Alfon swung his arms at Ledzel's legs, tripping him and proceeded with giving him a light noogie before letting him go."Good to have you back. How is it you're still walking when you should be sitting in a chair and looking old, despite your age?"
IC: Kirbati:"Old? Ledzel old? I don't think so," Kirbati said, looking at Ledzel for a second then saying," Oh. Wow."
IC(Ledzel)
Ledzel laughs as Alfon messes with him. "Me? Old? I think you need to adjust your glasses, Old Timer," he says to Alfon as he pulls away and slaps the Toa on his shoulder.-Mef Man
IC: Alfon"Maybe so, if I had glasses that is. Still, how in the name of Mata-Nui is it that you're able to walk?"
IC(Ledzel)
"Some sweaty doctor," he replies. "Didn't even use a Mask of Healing, the Brakas." Ledzel grins at Alfon before looking around to the others. "So, I see that it's the same old same old around here."-Mef Man
IC: Alfon / Onyx"Almost. As you can see, there are more people. Oh and guess what?"
IC(Ledzel)
"Yes?" he says to the beings. -Mef Man
IC: Alfon / Onyx"Two of me exist!" Alfon said, pointing at his twin brother Onyx, hoping to trick and confuse Ledzel for a moment.Onyx saw Alfon pointing at him out of the corner of his eye and turned around to face him from afar. He put on a smile identical to Alfon's and waved hello to his brother and friend, not knowing what he was talking about.Knowing him, it can't be good. he thought, still smiling.
IC(D): "Hey, Madrihk, you wouldn't mind if I went over to the Ta-wahi border to try and reforge my mask with some runoff lava?"
IC: MekrofCaught! He stared up at the five Toa an the Skakdi."I... I'm Mekrof," he mumbled. He was still rather embarrassed by his foreign accent. "And if you haven't noticed, I'm starting a large wildfire. Now if you could just put that back, I'd thank you very much."The ebon-armored Skakdi of Gravity raised his stolen Xian-tech pistol, threateningly. It had been a while since he had been in combat, and he was quite sure the six of them could take him without so much as breaking a sweat.
IC: Miraul only needed to raise a hand, as he created a magnetic field around it with repulsive effects, strong enough to hopefully keep the Skakdi from pointing the strange-looking weapon at them. Takamaz sighed as he said, "Why do you want to start a wildfire?"
IC(Ledzel)
"Oh, yeah, met him when I was retreating," said Ledzel while waving his hello back to the Toa. "There isn't a third I need to know about; is there?"-Mef Man
IC: Kirbati:"He better not be Makutaspawn," Kirbati grumbled.
IC(Ledzel)
"Kirbati, you remember his brother, right?" asked the Toa of Stone, not hearing the Onu-Toa's words. "He was the one who was also saving me before you showed up to do the real rescuing," he jokes.-Mef Man
