Techna: Breakdown

IC: Mars blinked."Hey," She said, thinking all the while of how probably this entire venture was an illusion.Only Hackers had Shadow; no Hacker would rescue her-let alone teleport into the Citadel, for one. For another, no Hacker would know her name unless if they were high-ranked...It was hardly common for those with power to be in the field.And finally, the issue of the Hacker in question.He looked far too good to be a mole.

IC: Gust (Cafeteria, The Citadel)Gust moved forward, away from Desdemona, and hugged Jasik tightly, laughing all the way as he planted an emphatic kiss on the Toa's forehead."Mars!" he said, turning to her and high-fiving her. "Esao's gonna be glad you're back. He's been worried about you since the Umbrae hit CHI last night..."He turned to Jasik."How did you find her?""I've had you guys under surveillance since Airu got grabbed last night," he replied with a curt nod. "I managed to move a couple dozen Hackers to Esao's location. Make sure to warn him."-Teezy

IC-Kal:Kal pushed Jasik aside for a moment, roughly, despite the Toa's objections, then grabbed Gust. He turned the Toa towards Desdemona, then literally threw the two of them together, their lips meeting in a kiss.Kal then looked over at Jasik. "He's been going a little weird on us," he said, explaining his action. "I thought something like this might be the best way to fix him. That, or incapacitate him so that we don't have to worry anymore."

IC: Desdemona (Cafeteria, The Citadel)Desdemona's blue eyes opened even wider as her lips met with Gust's: the two stood still for a moment, unsure of what to do, before finally, Gust's hands ran up her back softly, and Desdemona's hands met his shoulders. They stood there for several seconds, intertwined and apparently unnoticing of anything happening around them, before Gust finally pulled away, blinking rapidly."What...what was that?" she asked him, her voice a hushed whisper; she sounded as though she were not sure whether to drag him up to his penthouse or atomize him for his insolence."I'm...I'm not sure," he said hoarsely. "But we should probably, uh...never do it again.""Never," she repeated, her blue eyes glimmering with what may have been disappointment.-Teezy

IC: Mror"Hobestly, you guys can due as long as I get the sword." Mror growled, a show of emotion through his smith demeanor.

IC-Edubard:Edubard looked over to Mror, his Golok raised suggestively. "Can we just chop off their hands at the wrist and kill them? Then we can fight over which one of us gets the sword." He smiled, his happy insanity starting to come back."Deal?"

IC: Arkrak"Screw this, I'm going home."

IC: Incommodo"Well, I will be going now. Things to do, people to irritate, proverbial T-shirts to gather, y'know, the normal stuff." Incommodo climbed on to the ledge of the window, and jumped off it, spreading his arms out.OOC: Arkrak can likely see him.

IC: [Arkrak]As Arkrak began to walk away, a blue figure in the corner of his eye forced him to pause. The Toa of Sonics slowly turned, and his eyes widened slightly, cradling his head in his hands in exasperation."Not again."

IC: IncommodoOnce the CHI building (and Arkrak) were in his line of sight, Arkrak found Incommodo standing, upright, beside him. The momentum continued to pull him forward for about half a second, but he stopped after that. "Hi."

IC: [Arkrak]"Hello Incommodo," sighed Arkrak in reply. "What brings you here again?"

IC: Incommodo"Talking to the dragon and having everyone tell me how insane I was got boring."

IC: Arkrak"Good for you."

IC: Incommodo"Yup." Incommodo then noticed Nikarra standing nearby, looking like she had recently been crying. "What's wrong with her?"

IC: Arkrak"Does it look like I know?"

IC: Incommodo"I haven't yet become accustomed to your facial expressions, but I'm gonna go on a hunch here and say 'no'."

IC: Arkrak"A most excellent observation," replied Arkrak, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You must be very good at recognising facial expressions."

IC: Mars blinked again. She highfived back."So, that son of a piraka fireflyer is still alive?" The matoran laughed drily, moving to answer some questions. Conversation also might help to make the situation less awkward than it had been made at first-when she appeared inside the Citadel's cafeteria wearing only integral armor.Mars could feel a lot of male gazes on her now; they had evidently been drawn by her voice and stuck to her appearance. But she ignored them...Even assuming this wasn't an illusion, none could act on what they saw."Also:," She tossed out, "What the forsaken flipping karz is going on? Can someone or something prove to me that this is real?-cuz when ya get rescued by a high-ranking Hacker who takes you to the Citadel amidst applause, you have to wonder if you're either tricked by an illusionist, or just high as all karz," She said, folding arms and standing straight as she waited for a response.

[iC: Stronin]"So A.I Woman, could you let me go now? Please?"

IC: Daykia (CHI)She just stood there, a look of confusion on her face. Shocked, she eventually spoke. "...Well... That was dramatic." IC: Krash (Krahzia)Krash resumed walking around Krahzia singing 'The song that never ends' at the top of his lungs. In an annoyingly high voice. "THIS.... IS....THE..... Song that never ends! It just goes on and on...."IC: Lekar (NMN)Lekar was still sleeping on a bench, near a fountian in the middle of New Metru Nui. "zzzzzzzzzzzz"Zakaro

OOC: Just realized how the other arc of mine, the initial Replica arc, had accidentally been hinted at. KAIran. Of course, it was just a coincidence, but it's kinda awesome, now that I think about it. =P-==IC: Kairan//Albiore II==-Kairan waited for a few crucial minutes, before the video feed cut back in, and the guard nodded."You're free to go." The guard said, but looked around the screen with a suspicious look. Kairan sighed in relief, and nodded, as the Albiore began to move forward again, after the guard moved out of the way... However; the guard paused, and activated the video link again; even as they were flying away."Stop; we have some more questions, specifically about the fact that two of you look identical." The guard stated, however, the Albiore showed no sign of slowing down, and the guard slapped a palm to his face."OPEN FIRE!"OOC: Lemme spice things up a little!

IC-Kal:Kal had just finished sending the video feed he'd been taking for the last few minutes to Esao and Ryllia both-he figured they'd laugh at everything that happened-and so he turned to Mars."Don't worry," he told her, "This is completely real...though it may not seem like it. There are quite a few things that will send your head for a spin, that's certain," he said with a laugh, though he looked at Desdemona oddly.

IC: (Ckase - Krahzia)As I continued walking the streets, I remembered that I had to contact Ryjak to inform him of the rogue AI. ckase:neuralchipcd contactsdirectory: Contactsmsg Ryjak(secure)Type in message:Sir, I think I have uncovered something big. A rogue AI, whose main databanks are located in the Techna-Nui's wreck, is apparently trying to reconstruct the ship. It has already rebuilt the security systems, having assembled a large number of Vahkii. From my interactions with it, I have seen that the AI holds little regard for life-forms, and may choose to eradicate us, if not the entire planet. It is crucial that this matter is looked into.Message sentexit()logoutI then hoped that the message would reach him.

IC: "Watcher" (Techna, Rebooting):The AI "scowled" as it rebooted it's systems. The Techna was a wreck, few beings were still inside or around the ruined ship. Watcher sighed and once he was running at a limit that would allow him to transfer core files to another location, he began to explore possible locations to move to. He connected via wireless signal to secure com channels, exploring and tracing them back to sources in attempt to discover if they had any space for his transfer. While Watcher didn't know this, some signals that he was accessing belonged to CHI, the Hackers, and the Citadel.

IC-Edubard:Edubard growled, raising his golok again, about to swipe at Arketh...when the feelings he'd felt from the sword finally hit him. He felt a slight blast of energy from the sword as the shadowy creature attempted to acess it again, and coupled with the repulsion he now felt, it literally sent him rolling down the mountain. He looked up, seeing the remaining three fighting over the weapon, and growled.He opened his hovercraft, stepping inside and stowing the golok. He felt like keeping it-the weapon was useful, after all, in more ways than one. Besides that, it was protosteel. That was always a reason to keep something.

IC: Emma - KrahziaEmma buckled as the guards began firing on the Albiore, nearly sending her flying into the windshield."Oh, thank you Kairan, this helps our situation immensely," she said, layering on as much sarcasm as possible, as she diverted power to the rear deflector shields.-Void

Kairan said, and Blade slapped his palm to his face."If you had've not piloted the ship like I asked, and stayed back with the others, there would have been no problem in the first place." Blade growled, as he tried to think of a way to fix this situation somehow; or at least get them out of the city. The problem was that the barrier was flickering. Blade frowned, and looked at a scan of the ground, and scowled, as he saw technicians working to repair the hole in the barrier."... How fast can this thing go?"

IC: Emma - Albiore IIWithout even looking back at them, Emma replied, "With the Ion Thrust, I'd estimate about 90 to 105 bios per hour."-Void

IC, Kinvex: "Good," said Kinvex. "The faster the better. Now full speed ahead!"

IC: Desdemona (Cafeteria, The Citadel)"Gust. Come with me."Grabbing the Toa Techna of Air's hand, she pulled him out of the room, her sapphire eyes wide and fearful. After pulling him into the elevator and moving up to his penthouse, she yanked him out and threw him onto the couch."You're not even going to buy me dinner first--?""Shut up. Do you love me?""I--what?""Gust. This is important. Do you love me?"Gust was quiet for several seconds, his eyes gradually darkening. For some reason, the kiss had left him...rejuvenated. Powerful."I don't know, honestly. But I think I might need you.""Then we have a problem."-Teezy

IC: "I'm sure," Mars said drily to the toa of Plasma.She lifted one hand, flexing its fingers and curling them a few times. The matoran nodded once in satisfaction.Then she placed it on her chest in such a way that she almost looked ready to give the pledge. This movement sent the male gazes up, but Mars ignored them.Her fingers spread around the integral plate. She sighed slightly and looked out at the group.Well, it wasn't like the interrogator didn't know the truth about her anyways. He'd gain no knowledge from what she was about to do."Just let me verify that."Her hand blurred--Blipped out for a second--And then reappeared, holding a pulsating red thing.Little pain.The matoran let out a gasp, tossing the wet object to the ground. She dropped to one knee.Then Mars looked up and smirked.Good. He'd never know how little I feel there.The thing spilling red liquid onto the linoleum Citadel floor was her heart amidst its death throes.OOC: To be continued (and explained via zij).

IC-Kal:Kal looked down at the heart on the ground, before pulling Mars up. "Somebody, get her to the infirmary," he growled, a couple aides starting to come up, "And take that thing with you too." He gestured to the heart, then looked over to Mars."What exactly was the point of that?" He asked.

IC: Gust (Gust's Penthouse, The Citadel)"I what?""You've absorbed some of my strength through my DNA, and I yours. You've gained some of my powers and abilities, and that, Gust, is a very large problem for you. Your body won't be able to take the strength, and eventually, you'll just pop. Like a fleshy green balloon.""Charming image."Desdemona didn't answer directly; she instead placed her hand over Gust's lips and muttered something. The Toa Techna of Air gasped and threw his head back as a small, white sphere of light withdrew from his mouth and dissipated into the air."What...what was that?""Those were your elemental powers."-Teezy

-==IC: BladeKairan//Albiore II==-Kairan nodded, as he increased the speed, and shot forward."Come on... Come on..." Blade said, with a hint of a growl; he did not want to the the barrier activate right before they got out of the city; but he also didn't want it to activate halfway through and cut the ship in half. As the ship approached the barrier, Blade braced for impact, even as the different lasers and other such weapons shot past, one impact rocking the ship, even as it shot out of the city; the barrier appearing into existence just as they got out... But, it took out a portion of the back armour, barely missing the thrusters... Or, at least, most of the thrusters. Blade muttered under his breath, as he realized some of the thrusters had been hit in that last shot."How long do we have?" Blade asked, and Kairan frowned."I'd say maybe two to ten minutes?" Kairan suggested, and Blade muttered again."Try to keep this in the air for as long as possible...." Blade said with a frown.

IC: Gust (Penthouse, The Citadel)"You ruined me!"Gust jumped to his feet faster than Desdemona thought possible and launched a roundhouse kick into her ribs, sending her flying back several feet. The Toa Techna of Air activated his Kakama and dove at her, swinging thousands of punches at her in the space of a couple seconds. Desdemona flew back, a wild look in her eyes, and as Gust moved to swing another roundhouse she lifted her arms up and screamed.Time began to slow as the sonic waves moved through the room: Gust cursed to himself as he felt his movements begin to slow, and Desdemona slammed a wicked cross into his jaw, sending him flying into his desk."Get up. You are not nearly powerless."Gust pushed himself up."Oh, really? Well, then enlighten me, oh glorious one! Because right now, the only thing you're Great at Being is a pain in the ***!""What do you know of sorcery?"-Teezy

IC: One aide, a brave Le-Matoran, stepped forwards to grab the organ. He sprinted for it and finally knelt, hand reaching down...Data Analysis: Only for the heart to disappear right before his fingers reached it.Mars stood again with heart in hands, smirk never having left her face. She slammed the object back into its place without a care.Subject One is not 'matoran' at all."Ya really think a little thing like losin' a heart can stop me, ya brakases? I'll sleep it off."Subject One is composed solely of mimiviruses and smaller viruses that appear to have infected them. These latter viruses appear to be of several different varieties-though all are unknown to current Umbrae science-and program each mimivirus uniquely for a function in accordance to the subject's biological needs.

IC-Kal:"I honestly don't care right now," Kal said flatly. "We just got you back from the Umbrae, and you just ripped your heart out of your chest." Kal smiled. "Think of it as me making standard procedure for this, in case it ever happens again. Now...off you go!" He pushed Mars, hard, the Matoran falling backwards into a couple of Toa, who proceeded to quickly drag her off.Kal then looked down at the bloody spot on the floor. One burst of plasma, and the spot was gone...though now the floor was blackened. Kal shrugged, then grabbed himself a cinnamon roll.

IC: Gust (Cafeteria, The Citadel)Even as Kal went to grab his cinnamon roll, there was a loud crash and several screams coming from the aides: Gust was thrown bodily through the doors of the cafeteria, skidding to a halt in front of the vending machines about fifty yards away from the door."You are unworthy," Desdemona sneered as she entered. "Unable to use the gifts provided to you--""ENFIRE!" Gust screamed; a medium sized fireball appeared in his hands and he tossed it at the blue-tinged Great Being. She smirked and batted it away."Now we're getting somewhere."-Teezy

IC-Kal:Kal quickly grabbed a cinnamon roll, pulling out his saber hilt as he did so. He activated it, feeling the drain on his energies as the green blade extended outwards from the hilt. He then took a bite of the cinnamon roll, before stepping towards Desdemona.

OOC: The Xa-Kuta? What is this sorcery? pun fully intendedIC, Kinvex: Kinvex frowned. "Hopefully we'll get the the city before the ship gives out," he said. "The thrusters aren't going to last much longer..."
