IC: Hound, Ga-Koro Hound looked down at Her. "Hound. The road is not a place to rest, Toa." The Denuvian said a small, and somehow sad, smile. "Hungry?" He asked. As he said this, He lifted up a large peice of perfectly-cooked squid-meat. "It's fresh. Just killed it."
Ic: "YeahIknowijustkindayouknow... crashed here..." she mumbled, but perked up at the sight and sound of food. Perked as in she was pleased and eager, but still too tired to get herself upright. "Engh. Ennngh. Eh," she said as she tried unsuccessfully to sit upright. "I'd love some soverrymuch, but I can't," she said finally.
I.C. Ussalaius followed JL to Kini Nui
IC: Hound, Ga-KoroHound carefully propped her up with one of his Pakari-strong arms, A sad smile playing on his face. "Here." He said, handing the Toa the meat with his free hand. "Or did you mean you literally can't eat?"
Ic: "No, I'm able to eat now," she said, quickly grabbing the meat and consuming its energies with ravenous efficiency. She was quite famished and exhausted, and this was welcome medicine for her. In fact, when she was done with the energies in the meat, she disregarded the norms and began consuming its flesh, chewing it down with equal ferocity. The effects were near immediate. She wasn't as tired anymore and hey eyes and heartlight were noticeably brighter. "Thank you, um...?"
IC: Brekan"First of all, I do not snore."She snapped."And second, where is this tea place you were talking about?"
IC:Fov"Either you snore, or you have a pet that snores loudly." Fov said, smirking at Brekan."Right in front of us?" Fov said, pointing at the building they had already reached. "I already said that we were here..."
IC: Brekan"I was too busy pointing out that the only one who snores, is you."She replied.
IC:Fov"I DIDN"T GET ANY SLEEP!" Fov yelled at Brekan. He took a few breaths to calm himself down."Now, can I go get myself some tea, or...?"
IC: Brekan"Sure, go right inside."A cool wind started pushing Fov toward the door, not caring if he had time to open the door, or was just pressed against it.
IC:FovExecpt Fov wasn't pushed, as it wasn't a very strong wind. It was strong enough to push most people, but Fov wieghed a bit more than most, and thus he walked to the door without Brekan's help.OOC:He has very heavy armor. ![]()
IC: BrekanA much stronger wind attempted not to push Fov, but to knock him over onto the floor. He heavy armor might even help with ruining his balance.
IC:FovBut Fov hung onto the door, allowing him to balance himself. He turned back to Brekan. "If you're done..."
IC: Brekan"Probably not, but go ahead anyways."She joked.
IC:FovFov gestured for Brekan to enter before him. "Ladies first."
IC: Hound, Ga-Wahi"Hound." The being said with the sad smile, obviously impressed at the speed she consumed the peice of meat. "More?" He asked, holding up two more perfectly cooked peices.
IC: Brekan"Sure, thanks."She said, walking inside.
Ic: "Yes, please," Dany said, eagerly snatching another piece and repeating the ritual with the food. "So tell me about you," she requested. "You're not from this island, are you?"
IC:Fov"You're welcome." Fov said, following Brekan inside. "So, what are you gonna get?"
IC: Brekan"Food, and no tea."She replied.
IC: Hound, Ga-Wahi"Actually, yes." Hound said after a moment of silence. "My species is rare, you've probably never seen my kind." As he said this, the sad smile of his faltered into true sadness, but quickly returned to normal. "About me? Well... I live in Ga-Koro... I have friends in about every Wahi... I'm a bounty hunter... Of sorts." He said. "What about you? Name?"
IC:Fov"Okay." Fov said, sitting down at a table.
Ic: "Danerys, Toa of Fire. I'm an archaeologist," she explained. If Hound made any expression at this, she didn't see it, instead looking at the meat as she ate it. "I haven't seen your type before, and I find that interesting. How long have your people lived on the island for?"
IC: BrekanThe Toa of air joined him at the table, making an arrow spin around in the air.
IC: Hound, Ga-Wahi"My people..." He started, and then stopped as he strugled for the right words. "My people lived on this Island until a hundred years ago. The entire history of our clan was disrupted, and we have no Idea, as a species, how long we have lived."
Ic: "Oh. I see," Dany said, finished with the second morsel. "I guess that's one way to say, 'for a really, really long time.'" She paused for a moment, thinking about how that might tie in with her profession. "I was just thinking, you know... since I'm an archaeologist and all, that maybe I can help you find out more about your species. Just an idea, though, and one I might be able to do eventually. I'm in the middle of a huuuge dig right now, actually. Say, you ever hear anything about a people called 'Valkyr?'" she asked, curious.
IC:FovFor waited for a waiter to come and serve them.
IC: BrekanAs did she, this was Fov's idea, she was just going to sit back and wait.
IC: Hound, Ga-Koro"Valkyr... No, never heard of them." He said as he stoked the fire he had used to cook.
Ic: "Great winged toa-like beings? No? Aw, okay," said Dany, mildly disappointed in the outcome, though she did suspect it would happen. "The dig I'm working on was apparently made by that species," she explained.
IC: Hound, Ga-Koro"Where's the dig?" He asked, showing a intrest in the subject one wouldn't expect from such a harden warrior.
Ic: "Between Ga-Wahi and Ko-Wahi, in one of the many narrow valleys with a glacier-fed stream running down it," said Dany. "I came here to catch a boat to Xa-Koro, where I plan to hire commoners to assist with the digging labour. It proved all too exhausting for me alone, though I did have one person as help."
IC: Hound, Ga-Koro."Well, if you still want to do this, I can assist you." Said Hound. "I'm almost done here, just need to sell something."
Ic: "Oh, wonderful!" Dany exclaimed. "I still need more people, I think. Not to insult your abilities, but, well, I already tried it with just another person, like I said. The more people I have, the easier the job will be on all of us."
IC: Hound, Ga-Koro"Indeed. I know a few friends, but they all live in different Koros." He murmured. "You need rest." With that, Hound walked off, only to appear a few seconds later. Carrying a 25' long temple squid. Unintentionally showing off his Pakari-level strength, he laid it down, and began to inspect it.
Ic: "What I need is to get more people to help dig," Danerys said, propping herself up on her feet. She staggered a moment, but found her balance. "The sooner I get that temple dug out, the sooner I can unlock the secrets of the Valkyr. It's something I have to do," she insisted."You said you live here in Ga-Koro, right? You'll still be here when I return, I hope?"
IC: Hound, Le-Koro"Indeed." Said Hound. "About two Kios north from hear."OOC: I think that's the right measurment
IC: MekrofMekrof the Skakdi of Gravity completed his hike up from the underground city of Onu-Koro. It was too well built to destroy. Ga-Koro however, could easily burn. But that would have to wait. He needed to set up a new headquarters and contact some of his inner circle. He trekked into the foothills close to Mount Ihu, but still with the beach in sight. This is where he would build his fortress.
IC(Daylah)
Daylah walks into a local cafe in the center of Ga-Koro. After ordering a small brunch, she takes a seat in one of the many booths and takes out her tablet to begin chizelling her usual message to Sulov. It's been over four months since I've seen Sulov. It feels longer for some reason...
Dear Sulov,
I've missed you, like always, and I thought I'd send you another tablet. I'm glad to hear that you and the others are going to get another assignment, but please be careful. And, how's that wound? I know it can be a bother sometimes even after being healed.
Anyway, I can't wait to see you again and if you can come to Ga-Koro please do.
-Your's forever,
Daylah
Daylah sat back in her booth and looked over the tablet as a waitress walked by and brought her food. Yes, it looked okay and would be ready to be sent. The Ga-Matoran turns to her food and eats it while looking at the horizon."I can't imagine living anywhere more beautiful than here," she sighs to herself, smiling. After a few more sips of her coffee, she was back on the streets and had the tablet mailed. Now, she could go about her usual business of trying to find another job...OOC: Daylah open for interaction.-Mef Man
OOC: Heads up Mef, I figured I'd bump into Daylah before going to the Islets.IC: FeldnokFeldnok, currently bored, went for a walk in the streets of Ga-Koro. Being much taller than the average Ga-Matoran, he accidentally bumped into Daylah without noticing. "Sorry. Oh, hey Daylah! How have you been?" OOC: Can't just post that I'm in Kumu Islets without a bit of dialogue ![]()
