IC: Kinksh / Hidden Base"Well this could be interesting..." Kinksh said, scratching his chin as he looked through the screen to a camera atop the Citadel.His mask glowed as he looked at the scene. "Let's see what chaos we can cause..."*****Atop the Citadel, a black nexus opened - a gate to another dimension. It hover there, in the midst of the massive group... and from it dropped a Doom Viper, aimed to go after Kal and the others, before winking away.-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC-Aclaraung:Aclaraung noticed the gate, and as the Doom Viper jumped out he quickly grabbed it by the necks, right where it wouldn't be able to turn back and bite him...or any of the others, unless he wished it.He looked at the thing inquisitively. "I would ask who sent you," he hissed out in the reptile's language, "But I feel I already know." A quick clenching of the claws, and the Doom Viper's life was quickly ended. He dropped the body before himself.

IC: Song"Well, fun. It'd be nice if I could go five minutes without having someone try to kill me, or someone near me." Song commented.Krayzikk's grip on his pistol tightened.

IC-Kal:"Don't worry, we won't have a problem with that," Kal said, waving off what Song said. "In fact, I have a proposition...for you and your friends here. Or, at least, You, Blade, and the Dragon," Kal said.IC-Aclaraung:Aclaraung, however, did not pay attention. "I see that your penchant for weapons and battle hasn't changed, Krayzikk," he growled. "Despite your namesake's death."

IC: Amalia/Belthnor:Belthnor stumbled to the ground at the sight of the Doom Viper, which scared him to shreds as he got back up, startled.Amalia had not flinched, as she faintly remembered her duels and brawls in the Southern Islands, where it was most brutal. Her illusion, however, faltered before regaining itself again.

IC: Krayzikk"I see you're still causing collateral damage, Aclaraung." Krayzikk retorted.Song sighed, ignoring them. "Well? What, then?"

IC: Auress (NMN, The Citadel):Auress stood behind Song, too scared to say anything.IC: "Watcher" (Techna/CHI Building/Edubard):Watcher had hidden himself during Kal's conversation, the upload 100% Complete. He searched about the platform for a holopad to present himself.Athen... Is there a way for me to present myself here..? I wish to speak. The AI said to Athen.In the meantime, the Watcher with Edubard finally replied to him, "Yes... I thought I saw my daughter's death... I... Lost control temporarily. What is our status until we have reached the city?"

IC-Aclaraung:Aclaraung growled. "Collateral damage is less a problem than battle," the Dragon said. "Buildings and the pavement can be repaired. Deaths caused due to battle cannot...as you well know.""Aye, well...I've got a bit of a team I'm setting up," Kal said. "Joint command under Krayzikk and I, and you and your two friends were the first beings we felt to pick for the job-you have the necessary skill sets, and that all-around 'cool' vibe that is always expected of such people."IC-Edubard:"Safe, for now," Edubard said. They were about a kilometer out of the city. "That shadow-demon back there is occupied with somebody else, who is of no consequence to us."

IC: Kinksh / Hidden Base---> Contacting Auress-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Amalia:With those words Kal spoke, Amalia blurted out, "Why have I not been selected?" The illusion concealing her faded as she desended to where everyone was. "Excuse me... Kal is it? Why was I not?" she said, emotions flaring out, sharing new and old to unprotected minds.

IC: AthenYeah. Gimme a sec.Moments later, both Watcher and AThen were sharing Krayzikk's holographic projector.Song looked thoughtful. "You know I'm not fond of taking sides, Kal."Krayzikk growled at Aclaraung.Song forced Amalia back into her own head. Control yourself. She all but growled.

IC-Kal:"That's why I chose you," Kal said. "You hold no particular love for either side of the equation-Techna or Hackers. The same with Aclaraung here and with Blade. I'll be willing to explain more once some others won't be able to hear." He then looked over to Amalia."Mainly, because we felt you might be a possible liability," Kal explained. "Though if you can prove us wrong, I have the perfect way to do so."Aclaraung glared at Krayzikk, growling himself. "What, Krayzikk, now that you've lost your original body you've learned some caution?" He asked, mockingly.

IC: Auress (NMN, The Citadel):---> Unknown Source attempting contact: y/n> y>Hello? Who is this?IC: "Watcher" (Techna/CHI Building/Edubard):Thank you...Watcher appeard upon the ground and stretched his limbs before standing normally."Greetings, I am First-Generation AI Codenamed; "Watcher. None of you have to introduce yourselves, I already know who you all are. However, I wish to speak with my daughter, who is here," Watcher stated, not amazed by the appearance by anyone.

IC: Amalia/Belthnor:Amalia's old mind listened, and followed suit. Her loss of memory had eroded her ability to control herself, and she was tired of doing so. Her emotions ceased to be felt.Remember not to toy with me, young Psionic. Years of wear and tear end up catching up with you. She gave a wink to Song.She turned to Kal.Ha. A liability. I've faced beasts and warriors worse than your metallic attitude. Present me to... your challenges.Belthnor frowned in disappointment. He had not been chosen. "As a former worker of Techna, I must protest. I will pit myself against anyone to prove being worthy of such a task."

IC: SongSong resisted the urge to strangle Amalia,right there and then. Just barely.Krayzikk removed his hand from his pistol. "No. I've gained a new outlook on things. And as much as I might like to, it does not involve beating the karz out of you"

IC-Kal:Kal smiled-everything was working. He clapped his hands, pulling out a small portfolio. It only had one page inside, and that page had nothing but a name on it. He tossed it in front of Amalia and Belthnor."Alright, then," he said. "Your first and only task. Find out as much as you can about the organization named in that portfolio." His grin dropped. "One of the major surfacings of the organization was during the small 'war' before the Techna went down. They're the 'Golden Hammer,' and we want to know more about them. Much more." He smiled again, slyly."Good luck."IC-Aclaraung:Aclaraung snorted. "Good to know," he said. "And yet, you certainly seem to still have much to learn. Nonetheless, I congratulate you." The Dragon raised his head back up, and looked over to Kal.

-==IC: Blade==-Blade's gaze shot over to Amalia as she revealed herself, and Blade gasped, the memories of the Island of Pain resurfacing quickly, however, he frowned and pushed them back, as he looked back to Kal, intrigued by the offer, but simply stayed quiet for the moment, since Kal had mentioned talking about it elsewhere.

IC: Amalia/Belthnor:Belthnor thought curiously about the assignment, whether he would or not accept.Amalia brushed her mind against Blade's, where she felt an unusual amount on anxiety about her. She earlier thought it was coincidence, but now it seemed real. Faint memories of the being floated around. She softly presented them to him, hoping he would respond positively. She was completely oblivious about the paper Kal had given her.

All you need to know is that I am a friend, even if I'm going to be dead soon.""If you haven't noticed the portals - they are games being played by Song, the young psionicist who first started this. She spends her days hunting criminals, killing them off one by one. She is removing rivals.""Song is dying, you see. She will be dead within the year from a heart problem that causes her to deteriorate under stress. She only recently discovered this, and in her twilight years, has been seeking ways to increase her fortune and find a cure for the incurable.""The only thing she has discovered is that by causing chaos with others, she is able to drain it from herself. That Doom Viper didn't come on a whim, you know. It was caused, as her mind stretched out on its own to cause chaos. She merely needs think, and she can use the Olmak she now wears on her face.""You can disbelieve me, I guess. IC: Amalia:A smile formed on the lips of the Psionicist.Is... is it really you? The one I keep seeing in my dreams? Amalia asked telepathically, hoping someone who could refresh her memory, and possibly bring her back to normal.

IC: Auress (NMN, The Citadel):​Auress turned cold at this, and immediately started trying to comprehend this.>I don't know what you're talking about. Song would never do that!Auress stepped a bit away from Song, and instantly tried to figure out if the Toa was in her head. When Watcher spoke, she looked at the AI strangely not sure what he ment.IC: "Watcher" (NMN/Edubard):"Please notify me if developments occur Edubard, if you excuse me... there's someone I need to say hello to," Watcher replied to Edubard.The Watcher in NMN took a step towards Auress, "Auress Keahi..?"

-==IC: Blade==-"I'm not totally certain what dreams you've been having, but if they involve those memories, then I am." Blade replied, he wasn't certain what dreams she had been having, but her tone implied it just might have been from the Island of Pain.

It's right here, in a stolen government file, here with the rest of what Song has.""I'm almost out of blood now. IC: Amalia/Belthnor:Yes. I fainly remember an ominous Avsa wielder, who usually haunted me in a cold stone building... with some others. Do you know of this? Amalia answer, searching back into her broken memories that fluttered through her mind."And you cannot give us any other information than that? And what of an organization that was not in Post-Technan history. Surely you are hiding something," Belthnor protested.

IC-Kal:"The most I know is that one of the beings who likes to attack Song so much," Kal said, gesturing to the psionicist, "Is rather well associated with the group, and that's only from one bug we managed to send with him on a hat. Which he destroyed nearly immediately, so we barely got anything." Kal looked annoyedly over at Belthnor."However, if you can gain any useful intel, then you most likely will be considered to be recruited to this little organization. So I'd suggest you think on it long and hard."

-==IC: Blade==-"Agh, that Piraka... Yeah, that's it." Blade responded with a nod."His name was Suicavel, and was a dang menace deserving of the name of the planet. Much rejoicing was to be had when I finally destroyed that stupid Avsa." Blade 'muttered' mentally, obviously still not pleased with Suicavel, even all these years later.-==IC: Syran==-Syran smiled slightly, as she saw a rather large dragon near a growing group of Toa and other beings on top of the roof of the citadel, so far as she could see.Perfect. Syran thought, as she looked around the beings, and chose the first one that wasn't the dragon, and attempted to use her Avsa on the being.OOC: Up to you who it is, minus Krayzikk, dunno if the Avsa works on robots. =P

IC: Amalia/Belthnor:Amalia laughed. She did not find someone she could relate to in years. Joy was finally being brought to her.That, she realized, that was when you... saved me. In my dreams at least. I can barely remember your name... Kairan, was it?"Hmm. I'm not sure about the Psionic one, but I am skeptical about this mission. What was your proposition for the rest of the group," Belthnor asked, wondering what his accomplices would be doing.

-==IC: Blade==-Blade frowned at the latter part of the thought."I once was named Kairan, yes, but that is a thing of the past as of right now; however, as of the Island of Pain, that was my name, yes. Now, I go by the name Blade, for some personal reasons. Formally, I still retain my name of 'Kairan Wolfblade', however." Blade explained as best as he could, without mentioning the reasons for that.

IC-Kal:"You can learn after you've completed that mission," Kal told Belthnor. "I said that this would prove to me whether or not I should recruit you to this. Last I checked, I haven't recruited you yet." He looked at Belthnor long and hard."Now, if you want to be a part of this, I suggest you get crackin'," the Toa of Plasma growled.

IC: Amalia/Belthnor:I understand. I've been under many aliases, including the one you know me as. It was... a pleasure seeing you again. But... I am afraid that I will have to leave you, but not on my own will, unless you can persuade that hot-heat Toa of Plasma to think otherwise about me. Amalia finished before disegaging contact with... her friend."If it must be," Belthnor sighed. He needed help, so the first thought was the contact that was earlier talking to him.---> Contact 'Unknown Source' y/n>y

IC: Kinksh / Hidden Base"They don't suspect you know yet. This is good.""Why do you contact me again? You are merely increasing our chances of destruction."-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Belthnor:Hush, hush. I'm emitting waves out to disrupt any kind of interception. For some reason, a troublesome Toa of Plasma refused my entry into a mission they will be assigned. I cannot continue my inflitration if they are not there... unless you happen to know about the Golden Hammer, which would allow me to kill those murderous beasts. Belthnor replied to the source.

IC: Auress (NMN, The Citadel):The call had ended, and Auress didn't know what to make of it all. Song, a bad guy? But she had been nice to me... Auress quickly stopped trying to think, she didn't want Song to know. As for the matter at hand, she would just keep a careful eye on her. If the person who had called had been right, then Song would have to be stopped as soon as possible.Auress froze when she heard the AI speak her name, "Y-yeah? What do you want..?"IC: "Watcher" (NMN/Edubard):"You don't remember..?" The AI said wistfully. Today just wasn't his day.

IC-Edubard:Edubard was keeping track of Watcher, both the one in his head and the split over at the Citadel, and sighed. "It's been so many years, Watcher," he said. "And you haven't contacted her at all. You can't expect her to remember."

IC: "Watcher" (NMN/Edubard):The Watcher with Edubard replied back, "Yes... The last time I saw her was before the Techna even took off, but she should remember her father's voice..." IC: Auress (NMN, The Citadel):Auress didn't remember, except for one thing, and her eyes widened in surprise, "Au-""No, I don't use that name, not anymore."

OOC: So Watcher's Auron? That's the implication I'm getting, though I get the feeling it's a BZPRPG thing again. =P-==IC: Blade==-Blade nodded with a slight frown, but wasn't certain how to approach the subject, or even convince Kal that she'd fit well in the group.OOC: Erm, did my Avsa attack go unnoticed? =P

OOC: Most likely not Auron, but Aurel. It goes with the story his characters are based off of.IC-Kal:"Well then, is everything settled?" Kal asked. "Good! Belthnor, Amalia, you two can head off now to find the intel. Auress, seeing as you appear to be under Song and Aclaraung's protection specifically, you may come with us." He made a quick about face, stepping for the elevator.Then he felt a sudden lethargy, which was soon accompanied by pain. He stumbled, grabbing Krayzikk's arm for support as his vision blackened slightly, though soon it passed.Kal shook his head, trying to clear the feeling that energy wasn't the only thing drained. "Avsa," he growled out, and set a couple of the team out to find the creature that just attacked him.

OOC: Amalia never said her name, you know.IC: Amalia/Belthnor:A tugging at Amalia's life force brought her to Syran's attention. She turned her head in her(Syran) direction, and began to attack her mind with her own. If Syran was in sight, Amalia's Psionic Rhotuka would severly damage her until it wore off.Belthnor was shocked by the word, 'Avsa'. He had only heard legends about the mask, and was worried about its capabilities. Belthnor unsheathed his sword, ready for an attack.

IC: "Hey!," Mars called to Grochi indignantly. The 'matoran's eyes glared out from her blood-spattered Kaukau and into his.Subject One thus only requires immense amounts of victuals and rest in order to survive, as this rest will allow the consumed material to be reformed into more viruses. Its biology requires no true organs."If the Cafeteria's going to karz and you're gonna bother me with 'standard procedure', at least get me four or five Tahu Burgers first!"Moreso, the smaller viruses of Subject One appear capable of taking over necrotic tissue and reforming it into a creature not dissimilar to Subject One. If the mimiviruses and their ilk are destroyed, Subject One is yet capable of 'rebirth'.
