IC: HakilveThe mutated toa slept fairly well considering his head hurt like karz. His vision started again, this time clearer:"You block head!" The black armored Ga-Toa laughed, "They won't find us here.""Velan. Listen to me! They're coming, I don't know how. Someone must of tiped them off, but we need to go now." he pleaded."Ok, one sec," she replied.A almost instantianous feeling of relief flooded through him. That was untill four of Krekka's species burst into the small two room hut."Your coming with us," the one in the lead said. Taking a step foward with his arms raised, read to grab the toa."Run! Now! I'll hold them off!" he had screamed to Velan. She vanished through a trap door in the opposite wall."After her!" the leader barked to two of his companions, "Don't let her get away!"They lumbered out of the hut and into the street, alreeady in fast pursuit.Hakilve wasted no time, hacking and slashing with his two swords. Wait, two swords? Didn't he have four? He blocked a strike with his Hau. But he didn't have a hau? Right? He fought the two beings endlessly, untill one managed to cuff his hands behind his back. But he only had two arms in this vision. Or memory, whatever it was."Now quit struggling," He remembered the leader had ordered, "She has a special surprize for you.""Yeah," the other added, "You would look great with four arms."His vision ended here. But he wasn't sure if it was a vision at all. More like a memory.OOC: So how was my very first expanded plot?
IC(Daylah)
Daylah followed hesitantly. She didn't like the idea of visiting a prison, but it was what her job demanded of her; so she'd do it. The Matoran needed a job and needed to not let something like visiting a prison scare her. Bravery was a trait that would help her in life.-Mef Man
IC(Mirr): The matoran felt around the cave. Well...this is new. Definitely not in Happy Land anymore."Hello? Anyone out there!? HELLO!?"
IC: [Darre]"Abacus?" asked Darre, staring at the Matoran Guard, who looked up at him."Yeah I am," he said. "You my lawyer?"The Ce-Matoran nodded. "Yes I am. Tell me what happened during the night of the crime.""I didn't kill him. We had an argument and then he just ... collapsed."
OOC: It was pretty good, Gravity. ![]()
IC(Daylah)
Yeah. Suuuureee.Daylah wasn't buying any of this, but there was always the possibilty of some other means of the being's murder."Darre," she whispers; not wanting the other beings to hear her. "Maybe a sort of projectile weapon killed him unless this guy is doing the obvious: lying."-Mef Man
IC: [Darre]"It could be poison," Darre whispered back. "That is a possible outcome."He turned back to face his client."Why were you arguing?""Well he found out that his daughter and I were seeing each other."
IC(Daylah)
"So you killed him to continue dating his daughter?" she asks in a serious tone, but she knew that wasn't the reason. The Matoran was just curious to hear the being's answer.-Mef Man
IC: [Darre]"I wouldn't have," said the client, shaking his head. "Killing him would have hurt his daughter. I don't want her to be sad."Darre nodded, stroking his chin. "Say, do you know any Ta-Matoran that argued with the tavern owner before he died?""You mean Zerp? He was a friend of mine. He didn't like how Calculus hated him, and he liked my girlfriend as well. We sort of stopped being friends when I started dating her."
IC(Daylah)
Daylah simply stood there and listened. The pieces seemed to be falling into place, but they couldn't be sure yet. But, thinking of a question, she asks,"Do you know if the two ever...fought? With fists, knives, whatever?"-Mef Man
IC: [Darre]"Nah," said their client. "They only argued."Darre nodded, turning to look at Daylah. "I see that you're organising the information."
IC(Daylah)
"I'm trying to, atleast," she replies, while shrugging. Looking back to their client, Daylah asks,"Is there any strong evidence you can give us as to why you shouldn't be the one being hanged for this crime?"-Mef Man
IC: [Darre]The client nodded. "Yeah. I didn't even touch him. I hadn't even been in the village for two weeks."Darre turned to face Daylah, before back at their client."We've got some FABULOUS evidence," he said. "Now we'll just have to FABULOUSLY defend him."
IC(Daylah)
"And, two more quick questions," Daylah starts. "Can anyone verify the whereabouts of where you've been for the past two weeks? And, if you haven't been in Ga-Koro for the past two weeks, then why are you in a Ga-Koroan jail? They wouldn't bring you all the way here for suspicion of murder."OOC: This is so much fun! Thanks for letting Darre hire her, Hubert!
-Mef Man
OOC: You're welcome.IC: [Darre]"I came back today," said the client. "Then I ended up in an argument with Calculus. Then he died."Darre nodded. "So where were you before coming here?""Le-Koro. I had business there."
IC - Decaia - Ga-Koro: The soft sounds of the ocean slowly eased through the hazy cracks of Decaia's tired mind. Slowly, he opened his eyes, squinting at the lightstone above the bed he was lying on. His body still ached, though there was no doubt that he was in better condition than before. Still... something seemed wrong... He closed his eyes, listening. He could hear muffled voices, people on the other side of the door talking. He could hear birds. The sound of water -- the ocean, swaying back and forth as it tended to do, rocking...The ocean...Decaia's eyes shot open as he realized what the problem was.I'm in GA-KORO! This was bad, very very bad. Panic was beginning to set in, though he managed to keep himself from freaking out entirely, clenching the blanket over him in his hand. Slowly, he relaxed, his logical mind taking over.I'm in Ga-Koro... but they healed me, and I haven't been thrown in jail. They don't seem to recognize me... or they've forgotten... Either was good. He paused for a moment. I can't stay here, however. Too risky... He looked at his palm. Not enough elemental energy... not enough physical energy... I'll have to wait here... He paused again, looking around. How exactly did I get here, though? And just where, exactly, IS 'here'?
IC: HakilveHe woke up, a bit confused."I know her name, now," He said to no one in particular."How long has it been?" He asked Renod, who hadn't fallen alseep.
IC(Daylah and Renod)
"About an hour I suppose," explains the Vortixx. Just then, a doctor came out; explaining that the being they had saved could be seen now. Deciding it would be an interesting thing to do, Renod stands up and leaves for Decaia's room."How are you feeling?" he asks the Toa upon entering the room."So, you just happened to show up the day of the murder?" asks the Matoran. "That's...suspicious."-Mef Man
IC: HakilveOne hour? he thought, It felt like forever. He felt his stomach, and karz was he still hungary. He got up to follow Renod into the other being's room.
IC: FeldnokFeldnok woke lazily, his eyes opening really slowly as he began to examine his bearings. Nothing seemed to change except that his two friends were walking to the room of the being they saved. The Skakdi stretched before following Renod and Havilke to the room.
IC: Hajia & Tirus, Ga-Koro, hunting for Hound"Lass, it's been six hours." Growled Tirus. "Could we at least stop at the market and get something to eat?" "Okay. Kinda got side-tracked, sorry."IC: Hound & Kirian"What do you say we do? Start a war?" Hound growled, knowing all to well what Kirian was suggesting."With the help of a few more, we could-""We could do nothing. Remember what Onyx said, Kirian?""Of course. 'Fools, I am your master.""He plans to keep it that way."
IC: [Darre]"I seriously didn't kill him," said their client once more. "Why would I? Sure he wouldn't let me date his daughter, but we sort of got along."Darre nodded, turning to face his assistant once more, before back at their client."I think I have an idea," he muttered. "Don't worry, we'll prove that you didn't do it."
IC(Daylah)
Daylah nods her head in agreement. She wasn't trying to prove him guilty; just wanting to make sure they were defending the right being."Are we ready to go?" she asks; feeling strange as a few prisoners eyed her; evil intentions forming in their wicked minds.-Mef Man
IC: [Darre]Darre nodded. "Yeah we are."
IC(Daylah)
Daylah nods her head before saying to their client,"It was nice meeting you, and we'll try to prove your innocence." She then takes a few steps closer to the doors; greatly disturbed by the group of Onu-Matoran that were staring at her.-Mef Man
IC: [Darre]Darre soon followed his assistant out into the open. He looked around, before inspecting the notes he had made."We'll probably be able to get enough evidence to prove that he was innocent," he said. "You should go home. The trial will commence early tomorrow."
IC(Daylah)
But, Daylah didn't hear Darre. She had her hands in the sign of love, placed one over the other, and over her heartlight. Her head was tilted slightly forward and eyes closed as she prayed for the souls inside of the prison. Soon, the Matoran opens her eyes and looks toward Darre."Did you say something? I'm sorry, but I didn't hear you."-Mef Man
IC: [Darre]Darre smiled. "You can head home if you want. Get some rest before we FABULOUSLY defend our client in tomorrow's trial."
IC(Daylah)
"Are-are you sure there's nothing else I can do?" she asks the being. Daylah wasn't exactly ready to return if there was something else that needed to be completed.-Mef Man
IC: [Darre]"You've done a lot of FABULOUS work for me today," said Darre cheerfully. "You've FABULOUSLY cut down on the time normally needed to prepare. There isn't much else to do now."
IC(Daylah)
Daylah nods her head before saying,"Okay. But, if you need anything, I live right there." The Ga-Matoran points toward a hut at the far end of the street; a comfortable distance away from the prison. She turns to walk back to her home; ready to write another tablet for Sulov.-Mef Man
IC: [Darre]Darre nodded, before heading back to his agency.
IC(Daylah)
Daylah soon arrived at her hut. After a quick check of the guest room, she found the two Toa still asleep.Probably exhausted from that bridge they blew up.Their food was still setting out; as cold as a Ko-Toa's heartlight. The Ga-Matoran placed the food in a nearby fire and stacked the dirty plates up beside her sink. The time to wash them would come soon, but, now, it was time to write Sulov.Walking into her room, Daylah closes the door behind her and takes a seat at a nearby wooden desk. She takes out a tablet and "pencil" before beginning her message:
Dear, Sulov
I found a job today as an assisstant to a lawyer. We're investigating a murder and it's quite disturbing, but it's better than no job. I've already been paid greatly and plan on spending it on something nice if I have any widgets left over from the bills. Maybe I can pay for a trip up to Onu-Koro even.
I hope to see you soon, and may the Great Spirit guide you
-Daylah
Daylah looked over her tablet. Satisfied that Sulov would be pleased with it, she stands up and undresses herself before lying down in her bed and going to sleep.-Mef Man
IC(Mirr): The matoran broke through the wall of the cave. The rocks keeping it closed were not set up very well.He felt himself, ensuring he had everything.Tryna, check.Scopey thing, check.Sword, check.Cloak, check.Ariga's Mask, check."Okay, that's everything. Now...I need to find out where I am."OOC: Mirr open for interaction.
IC - Decaia - Ga-Koro: Decaia cast a surprised look at the beings who had just entered the room, observing them for a moment before they spoke. Most likely, they're the ones who brought me here..."I'm alive," the Toa of Water answered, rubbing as side as he propped himself up. There wasn't as much pain as he had expected; had a Mask of Healing been used on him, perhaps? He couldn't be sure. "Who are you?"
IC(Renod)
"To answer your question, my name Renod," replies the Vortixx. "I am the one who saved you."-Mef Man
IC: [Darre/The First]"Hey Darre."The aforementioned Ce-Matoran looked up from his table and smiled at the sight of his friend."Hello Jaliax," he said. "What brings your FABULOUS self here?"Jaliax the First's face flushed. "I'm only here to give you that thing you needed, nothing else!"Darre chuckled. "Don't be embarrassed. You are FABULOUS. But anyway, you managed to get it?"The other Matoran reached into her pack, before chucking a wrapped package onto the attorney's table, quickly turning away, a small blush on her face. "Don't thank me for this. I'm only doing this because you're my friend.""Thanks anyway. You went through a great deal of trouble to get this FABULOUS coffee, so you deserve some thanks."The First flushed one more, before quickly exiting the hut, leaving Darre alone to chuckle at his friend's antics.
IC: Hound/Hajia/Kirian/Tirus (Ho, Ha, Ki, Ti), Ga-Koro MarketHajia checked-off locations on a map as Tirus walked ahead of her, hungry enough to eat a Kane-Ra. Hopefully, it didn't come to that. He thought with a grin. Turning the corner, he froze.Hound whipped around as he heard a footstep, afraid that Onyx's agents had followed Kirian, and were attempting a kill. Instead, He was greeted by the sight of a Toa of iron, older than most. A very, very familiar Toa of Iron. "Tirus?" Hound asked as he relaxed."So all we have now is the-" Hajia chatted as she stared at her map, not even paying attention as she stepped into view. Stopping to look up, she froze at the sight of Hound. "Oh.""What is she doing her?!?" Bellowed Hound at Tirus."You know... She wanted to come.""You said you-""I know. She was just so...""You never got rid of your soft heart, did you?""No."Hound whispered to Tirus as he pulled him close, his gigantic face nearly pressed against the Toa's. Turning to Hajia, who had gathered up the map she dropped, Hound spoke through gritted teeth. "It's been a long time."
New character - IC: Emotia (Got the name from a random name generator I swear!
)Emotia lay on a beach not far from Ga-koro, she sat up, groaning. "Huh....how did I end up here!? I don't remember...." She tried to recall the last thing she remembered, she had gotten into an argument with one of the other local Toa that guarded the village. As usual, one of them was lecturing her on how impulsive and reckless she was, and how she always stirred up trouble. Long story short, it ended up being a fight, it got so bad that other Toa had to come and restrain her. They told her to leave the village and take some time to cool off. "Those stuck up scholars just couldn't wait to get rid of me. I'll show them, guarding the village is stupid and boring anyway...." She said, fuming. She thought about traveling the island, seeing what there was to see, and beating the karz out of anyone who she deemed deserving of punishment. The thought made her heart race with excitement for a moment. Then she noticed something was...glowing? She looked at her right shoulder, a strange mark was glowing dark green on her shoulder. It looked similar to the three virtues symbol, but something was...off about it."By the great beings!" She said. She looked at the mark, she rubbed at it a little, yep, it was quite...permanent. She stared at it at wonder, then she began to feel something, something that felt pretty good, like she was on a high or something, and she felt a little, stronger. She shook in fear a little, someone or something had put this on her, done something to her, but who? Whoever it was, they had great power...She felt a mix of fear and excitement, finally, something interesting was happening to her, on the other hand, it was pretty scary and unknown. The increased amount of excitement fed into the mark, making the high feel stronger. "Great...now I'm gonna become a junky..." OOC: Open for interaction ![]()
OOC:Meh. I need an excuse to start playing my Skakdi again.
IC: Taoki - Ga-Koro Taoki walked through the streets. Well. Stumbled. Well. Fell. A lot.Playing with knives is never a good idea when you're drunk either. Luckily for him, and those around him, he could handled knives pretty well despite the fact he was having troubles forming coherent phrases. Taoki hummed a tune to himself as he tosses knives around his hands, spinning them.Upon reaching the gates he looked to his left, a Toa stood looking herself over. Taoki stopped spinning his knives and waved like a moron. The guards beside him exchanged looks.
IC: EmotiaEmotia saw a Skakdi waving at her like a cool dude. Great...tourists....a drunk one at that. Emotia didn't like Shakdi...especially drunk ones that were waving at her, besides, she had enough to deal with. I swear it he comes over here...wait, what if he does...he might see the mark....though...he is drunk...so...As she was thinking to herself about this, the mark began to glow a little brighter, "No! Stop it! Stop it!" The fact that she didn't want to be discovered only increased her excitement however, and she had yet to realize that her eyes had changed from there normal yellow to a dark green. She put her hand over the mark, trying to hide it.
