IC: Floor
He smiled a little at Silencer's words. It was obvious he needed at least some assistance.
The Plasma Rahkshi slung Silencer's other arm around his shoulders and helped him along.
"So, how was the assignment? Good or bad?"
IC: Abyssium
"Thanks, Dodge. I'm thinking this batch of posters should simply say something about Rahkshi helping each other improve and become the best they can. Sound good?"
IC: Anubissium
Anubissium saw Fang, Kat, and Omega leave the school and begin to fly over the Chirox Causeway. She jumped up and began flying after them, intent on getting into their good graces and perhaps getting their alliance.
IC: Love Guurahk
"Talk to the kitchen guys?"
IC: The Twins.
"The answer depends on how you define the words good and bad." Silencer grumbled. Illusive just rolled his eyes.
IC: Jayar / The Gym
"I apologize. I thought was proficient in navigation without sight, but I have proven myself wrong." said Jayar before moving on, cursing his overconfidence.
He returned the blindfold to its place in the armory and headed over to the Refectory to grab what passed for a meal at Corpus Rahkshi.
OOC: if it wasn't clear, Jayar was trying to train to fight while blinded. Also Jayar open to interaction.
IC: Toxin, Stronghold, and Bullseye/Just outside Bullseye's Dorm ---> To the Gym
"Sorry. He was busy. I couldn't tell him."
"Doesn't matter."
"What should we do then?"
Stronghold approach his brothers. Sensing the tension between the two. He remained silent.
Bullseye broke the silence.
"Let's have a free-for-all between brothers. Like old times."
"Non-lethal right?"
"Of course."
"I'm in. Let's go."
They went to the gym.
OOC: None of them open for anything. But if you'd like to see them fight, then come and see. I'll put on a great show.
IC: Green
"They'd just chitter at us to get out. You know the Porters."
IC: Dodge-256
"Sounds sort of vague. You said you wanted to make a group, right? That sounds more like general propaganda. Perhaps put something about banding together? Makr it obvious you're forming a club or team or something."
IC: Love Guurahk
"What about a petition?"
IC: Green
"That might work. We'd need a lot of people though, and with better reasons other than 'it tastes horrible'."
IC: Love Guurahk
"Well people'd probably want more nutrition, yeah?"
IC: Green
"I'd assume so. But right now I'm not sure how many of them are aware of the issue of nutrition."
If one read between the lines, they might come to the conclusion that Green thought a large number of her schoolmates either petty minded or ignorant. Or both.
IC: Love Guurahk
"Ask around?"
IC: Green
"We could do that."
IC Kat: "Sure thing" I said. I flew ahead, taking point and leading the Group across the Causeway.
Funny, no one ever walked across this thing anymore.
"Here's hoping the Matoran aren't holding a grudge!"
IC: Fang - Causeway
With Kat leading the way, Fang turned his attention from the ground below to the cylinder Vaalku had indicated. It was unlike anything Fang had seen before. "What does it do?" he asked.
IC: Love Guurahk
"Let's go then."
IC Vaalku
"it... I don't really know. I'm afraid to examine it, as it might be keeping me alive, and might accidentally shatter it." He took a glance at the device in his arm.
IC: Suvak stroked his chin as he considered Metal's proposal.
"Tell you what, you find me eight people willing to participate in this parade of yours and I'll do what I can to make it happen. We got a deal?"
Ic: Siren (refectory - infirmary).
Siren gave up on questioning and started to walk back to the infirmary, ignoring Snake's comment. She had no time for a simple spar right now. She walked back to the infirmary, then opened the door and said
"Palma, if you may." Holding up her arm.
Ooc: Palma saw Siren come in (when Omega carried her there), but she didn't see her leave, so it should be a bit of a shock to her Ultron.
IC: (Wraith)
After doing Observation (with a capital "O") in the Refectory for a while, Wraith returned tothe Library, where Chequars was still wasting his time. There were a few more people in here now, including that vacuum rahk, Exxan, but Wraith continued to simply browse, smoke like as the light refracted oddly through her semi-transparent armour, her movements silent.
IC: Exxan - Library
Exxan lost track of the passage of time. He was engrossed in his reading, drifting ever deeper into the world or words nestled between the pages of the book he was reading. "At level three, a Vacuum Rahkshi gains the ability to pull larger objects towards them self, and blow them away as well." The implications of that gave him plenty of ideas for how to apply his powers in battle, but he continued to skim through the book.
Stopping at a random page, he found himself looking at the Kraata variation progression for sonic Rahkshi... like Phogen. "Upon reaching level three, a sonic Rahkshi possesses the ability to knock over objects with short sonic pulses." The words barely registered with him; all he could think about was Phogen. He felt guilty as he thought back to the events of the previous day... Her trying to flirt with him... him shutting her down... the expression of hurt that had briefly flashed across her face... Was she interested in him, or just the power he represented?
He slammed the book shut. What was wrong with him?
OOC: Exxan open for interaction.
IC: (Wraith)
The vacuum rahkshi slammed the book he had been holding loudly, inciting glares from nearby readers. Wraith looked up, soundless as ever.
Exxan was interesting...at this point, he was well known to many in the school, but Wraith had known about him, as well as many other students who had shown promise, for some time now. his ascention to power was thoroughly interesting, but it seemed he had gone back to books...
She could see Chequars on the other side of the room, while Tube talked with the "mastermind's" new recruit. Wraith pulled out one of the spray-able explosive gel cartridges for a second, inspecting it before hiding it from view again. Exxan certainly loved the Library.
IC: Recoil
Recoil finally finished the magazines for her friend. She flipped them around and put them in her satchel, in the process putting away her launcher. She began walking towards the library, where her friend would mostly be if they were not in the gym.
IC: Squid
Squid awoke slowly. He was in his room. Wait.... wasn't he in the diplomacy room last time he checked? He quickly checked everything to see if he was missing anything... Sibling, sketchpad, satchel, body parts, pencil- all there. Squid walked out of his room and into the library.
OOC: Squid open for interaction. Also, I'm pretty busy this week and I won't have as much time to be online as usual. It's one of those rare times someone has more free time at school than while at home on break. If I don't respond much, it's because of family celebrations and stuff.
IC Vaalku
The group kept on going, and Vaalku felt rather odd from the moment of silence between him and Fang. He patiently waited for Fang to say something, while he tried to remember how far it was to Nyhrah.
IC: Raptor
After picking up Wings and making sure everything in his dorm was in its place, he shouldered on his satchel and left the room.
OOC: I'll let Kat do the talking once we land, so whenever you're ready, UltimoScorp.
IC: Fang - Causeway
Fang wasn't trying to be rude. He was just lost in thought. The tinkerer in him wanted to tear open that cylinder with a bit of plasma to find what was inside. It could be a complicated machine, keeping Vaalku alive somehow as he thought. Or it could just be a fancy Heatstone canister.
And the story. It was... interesting. It reminded Fang of the last assignment, where he had tried and failed to stand up for the Matoran. Maybe Vaalku was worth his trust after all.
He looked up to see Vaalku's expectant face. "Sorry... your story... reminds me of my own." He looked down at the Causeway. The last time he had crossed it, he was injured, barely crawling along.
"Mine isn't nearly as interesting, but you seemed interested before. During the last assignment... taking down the decorations, that is, I arrived late. Another student was injured, and I was tending to them, but I had to see what was going on. What I found... shocked me. Tridax had ordered everyone to destroy the decorations, and Rahkshi were running rampant through the streets, not just attacking the decorations, but the homes and Matoran as well." He paused for a moment, suddenly hoping Hoto wasn't in the middle of that.
"The Matoran were afraid, and I couldn't let that happen. I... I grabbed this sword and... I tried to stop them. Some of the students, including Exxan. I told them to stop, to drop the bag and leave, but they would not. They didn't care about the Matoran, but only impressing Tridax. So, I fought. But they were better. Exxan said they would have killed me, and I believe him. Instead, Exxan knocked me out and left me there. Raptor found me later, and I managed to get back to the Infirmary. So... that's what happened." Fang gave a weak grin. Just recounting the story filled him with pain and anger, but he tried to push it down.
IC Vaalku
Vaalku's grim expression never changed. "There are some beings in this world who take in selfish pride, trying to make a reasonable name for themselves. And the remaining 10% are those who value other lives as meaningful."
IC: Omega
Omega's eyes flashed with rage. That's why Fang hates Exxan. "He was using you as a display of his power, I think. Then the managed to level up for being able to command his team. He did something similar to me, although we didn't fight. We basically had a bit of an argument and he trapped me in a basement until I gave over. So I did, letting him level up because of his power show."
IC: Fang - Causeway
Fang nodded solemnly. At least here, that appeared to be true. And based on his experiences, ten percent may be a charitable estimate. That was what was wrong with this place. With Exxan, Phogen, even Mahrika. They value their own dignity above the lives and comfort of others. To them, "allies" are tools, to be discarded when used fully, and all others are just means to an end, fodder to be burnt as they rise.
"Truer words have never been spoken. Unfortunately for the ten percent."
IC Vaalku
Vallku grinned suddenly, and then burst into laughter. The other Rahks looked at him strange, thinking he was nuts or something. He returned to reality and said in the first realistic tone he ever spoke in. "Well then, let's put a theory to the test, shall we? We'll be our own team. We'll switch leaders on a semi-basis, and we'll all level up!"
IC: Omega
"One problem. I already have a team, and I have no quarrel with Phogen. Only Exxan."
IC Vaalku
"Hm. Very interesting. We will have to construct some separate teams that wouldn't mind working along side each other."
IC: Fang - Causeway
Fang looked at Omega and replied in a soft voice. "You do not have to join. I would not think less of you if you did not. You have already proven your worth, and I could not lose respect if you chose to leave right now and never return to us.
"But that doesn't mean I would not enjoy your company when you see fit."
Fang looked to Vaalku with a bit more excitement. "You are not the first to approach me for a team. We could quickly form a large group by just making contact with them. I had never thought of this rotating leaders idea, but it seems worth a try!"
They were approaching the coasts of Nynrah, and Fang kept an eye open to try and figure out their destination. He trusted Kat would get them to the right place.
IC: Omega
Omega began thinking. What if the reason I have not leveled up is because I'm working as a pet for Phogen. I'm quickly being replaced by Exxan anyway. I'll just hold out until I'm kicked out by Phogen.
Metal / Gymnasium to Library, Speaking with Suvak IC:
Metal smiled as pleasantly as a Rahkshi could before responding, "Yes sir, Headmaster Suvak. I shall garner up interest and bring you a sheet full of signatures!" After shaking claws with the Skakdi (and almost having his claw crushed in the process), Metal immediately left for the Library. There was no time to perform today, and he did not even take the time to replace his axe-guitar's strings. This was important - he needed to prove that music was all-powerful!
IC: Raptor
Raptor passed by the library, where he saw the Rahk-Out Rahk he'd performed with earlier.
"Yo!"
IC: Amidst the influx of students earlier, the cacophany of colour and swarm of scars that had fallen upon the infirmary, Palma hadn't noticed Siren the first time. So her reaction was merely to tut and push the stricken Rahkshi down onto a bed, getting her to hold her own arm in place around her shoulders while the healing sealed muscles and armour back into place
IC: Melody
Melody was sneaking down the hallways trying to avoid attention. She was feeling much better.
