BZPRPG: Le-Wahi

IC: Thodir

^{Location: Fau Swamp, Vilerax's hut}

"I am Thodir. I guarded this island long ago alongside many other heroes, but that time is long gone now. I have only recently awaked from my slumber in the frozen heart of Ko-Wahi, and I have been travelling ever since... T'is brought me this far, but I must go on. I have a feeling this island may need heroes once more in the time that is yet to pass."

IC: Vilerax - Fau Swamp.

"I see," he thought that over, "but why leave Ko-Wahi and then come here, or all places?" 

IC: Thodir

"I've had enough of the cold for now. And me ending up here is purely by chance. I knew not where I was going, you see, for the drifts can be difficult to navigate, and quite impossible to fly out of, especially considering how rusty I have become in using my mask..." Thodir took another bite from the fruit, chewed it, and swallowed it. "So instead I had to walk, at least until I got out of that everlasting snow storm."

IC: Vilerax - Fau Swamp.

"I see. Very interesting."

Everlasting snowstorms? The mere thought of such climates led to pleasant, albeit foggy, memories of home. But he'd grown to like it here in the swamp, and he didn't feel like leaving it all behind just yet. 

"So, where do you plan to go from here? Back to Ko-Wahi, or elsewhere?" 

IC: Thodir

^{Location: Fau Swamp, Vilerax's hut}

"I'm going to head further south, perhaps to Le-Koro, or perhaps even see if the old village of the Kumu Islets is still thriving." Thodir said, completely oblivious to the fate of the islets. Thodir took a moment to chew another bite of his fruit before swallowing it. "I have told thee my tale, but I have yet to hear yours. Where, pray tell, do you hail from?"

IC: Vilerax - Fau Swamp.

"My old home? A land far from here. Cold and harsh and treacherous. I still miss it sometimes, though..."

IC: Thodir

Thodir solemnly nodded in understanding. "Perhaps one day you will find your way back home."

IC: Vilerax - Fau Swamp.

"Perhaps. But for now, this is my home. Not a bad place, all things considered." 

IC: Thodir

"Well, you certainly seem to have settled down here well enough. This is a fine home you have built yourself here, Vilerax."

IC: Vilerax - Fau Swamp.

Thodir had a point. Sure, it wasn't the nicest hut in the world, but it suited Vilerax's needs - four walls, table and chairs, a bed to sleep on and a roof overhead - just fine. "It helps to stay on good terms with the local wildlife," he advised, "I leave them to their business, and they leave me to mine." 

IC: Thodir

"Really now? I can't say I have felt the same hospitality from the creatures of this swamp." Thodir finished eating the fruit, chewing and swallowing it. "Anyway, I wouldn't want to overstay my welcome." Thodir said as he made himself likely to stand up.

IC: Vilerax - Fau Swamp.

"It's nice to have a guest every once in a while," he rose as well, offering his hand to the Toa, "Good luck on your journey." 

IC: Thodir

"Best of luck to you as well. It has been enjoyable to be in your company, Vilerax." Thodir shook hands with the tiokaha, and then walked to the door. "And again, thank you for you hospitality. I hope you find your way back home." And then, Thodir shot off into the foliage, possibly never to return to the swamp.

IC: Vilerax - Fau Swamp.

Waving a final farewell to the Toa's receding form, he closed the door and sat down, picking up a piece of fruit for himself. 

IC (As Adamas): "This feels a little suspicious, are you sure there's treasure to be found here? It feels like we're wandering into someone else's territory for some reason."

IC: Luta - Le-Wahi, southern swamps

"There's nothing to worry about, I don't think anyone's been here in years. At least since that matoran died in here" 

IC:Lerada

Lerada stopped.

"Hey, just a thought: Maybe you should tell us these sorts of things before you lead us headlong into a grave."

IC:

"Why for tea, what else?" The Toa of Crystal replied, rather abruptly. He cracked a smile that was impossible to see due to the bone appendage on his head.

IC: Gatanka

 

"Alright. How can I help you?"

IC:

"You always eat apples in one bite, buddy?" Colx asked, arms crossed and smile breezy.

-Void

IC:

"I could probably just walk."

IC (As Adamas): "I agree, tell us EVERYTHING you know about this place, including all the dangers we could face."

IC: Luta - Le-Wahi, southern swamps

"Oh come on there's nothing to worry about, it was probably just an accident, and besides people will be so scared of this place that in a way it confirms our safety as no one else will be here" 

IC:Lerada

Lerada didn't respond for a moment.

"Somebody. Died. Here. Considering where we are, it was probably not an accident.

And if people are scared of this place, why?"

IC: Luta - Le-Wahi, southern swamps

"Well ever since that villager vanished no one came back to this place, kinda passed out of memory after that"

IC (As Adamas): "That is never a good thing, Luta." The toa of crystal replied. "Do you know another way through this place by any chance?"

IC: Luta - Le-Wahi, southern swamps

"Oh come on just take a dive into the swamp, besides I can't see our way in anymore" 

IC:Lerada

"Dive? Hm." He looked out over the swamp, before tapping his mask. "If we're going over this, I don't need to."

IC: Luta - Le-Wahi, southern swamps

He dunked his head in a deep swamp before quickly pulling it out

"Right well there's some kinda vicious looking fish, but there's also something shiny"

IC Jaco

Huh. The Fe-Lesterin quickly bent down to rustle through the curbstomped man's pockets, eventually happening upon his wallet.

"That, my friends, is called cutting out the middle man!"

IC: Rakau

"You better karzing share those widgets of his." Rakau said.

IC Jaco

His eyes scanned over the newcomer.

"Who're you?"

IC: Rakau

"He's unconscious, for brains."

IC (As Adamas): "I think I'll just try and fish out the shiny thing,I don't feel like losing a few fingers."

IC: Luta - Le-Wahi, southern swamps

"Ugh, alright could you get me some sticks and tie them together?" 

IC (As Adamas): "Would vines be a suitable substitute for string?" The toa of crystal asked as she picked up a large stick.

IC: Luta - Le-Wahi, southern swamps

"Yeah that should do" 

IC (As Adamas): "There we go." Said the crystal toa as she ripped off a vine and began tying a knot on the stick. "Who's got a hook or something similar?"

IC: Luta - Le-Wahi, southern swamps

"Well if you can find a bent stick and a stone I'm sure that would be a good substitute" 

OOC: Last post tonight.

IC (As Adamas): "A stick would be a little bit weak, but I could just tie a crystal onto the vine and hope it works properly. 

IC:

 

"I could probably just walk."

IC: Zeal - Le-Koro Stables

"If you want. I would but I need to be at Aki's reins or he might, uhh, go astray." Zeal smiled meekly.

"Give the word when you're ready to go, fellas."

IC: Hakari

"I'm ready!" Hakari exclaimed, more than a little excited to ride the Kane-Ra.
