The Matoran stays back and lets Drone and the bot under their control get some distance."Should I start firing?" he asks over the radio.-Mef Man

IC (Information District): Kyrahk"I'm a weapons designer. I built things that kill people."He explained to the Frostelus."You?"IC (Outside of Housing District): Vrf-3He hovered forward right in front of the three ADRs."Eh, sorry guys. Got a little frightened there... again. Won't happen again, I promise."He lowered toward the ground slightly, looking apologetic, for a robot.

IC: Drone (Outside of Housing District)The ADRs observed VRF-3 in a quizzical manner. It was odd for a robot to behave the way it was but nonetheless, it counted as sapient behavior. They hovered in spot and turned their heads to face Drone and Drone 2."We pulled a prank on him. Really, it's nothing."

"That'll work too," he says over the private radio. He moves his hands away from the guns at his hips while watching the new arrivals leaving.-Mef Man

IC: Zaphos - Public Library, Information District"I'm a mercenary," he replied. "I get hired to do odd jobs people can't be stuffed to do, like delivering pizza."He grinned slightly, a somewhat intimidating sight for most."It pays rather well."

IC: Drone (Outside of Housing District)"Good. Now that that's taken care of..." he said, turning to face the little orb known as VRF-3."How do you feel? Can you tell us about yourself?"

IC (Information District): Kyrahk"Well, being a failure at weapon design doesn't pay very well, sad to say."He looked at the Frostelus' mouth strangely."Is that a laser emitter?"IC (Outside of Housing District) Vrf-3"I feel like I've been stepped on by a Vortixx, twice. I've got a processor ache that's killing me."The little machine grumbled, not feeling all that well."I'm the third and last in what was the greatest series of machines ever invented. Apparently, I wasn't good enough for Techna, they threw out the designs and canceled production. So I'm the only one ever made. I lack any weapons systems completely, and my optic is a camera sending video feed to security."

IC: Drone (Outside of Housing District)Karz! Toss me that cable!Drone immediately covered VRF-3's optic with his hand and activated his powers over him once more to restrain him, turning the robot's thoughts sluggish. If what VRF-3 said was true, the duo hacking him would have been caught in the act. They needed Drone 2 to access the robot's video footage and erase it, block it temporarily before anyone could examine the footage.

IC: Zaphos - Information DistrictZaphos nodded, closing his mouth."Yep," he said, smiling. "I got an energy blaster implanted into my mouth."

IC (Information District): KyrahkHe couldn't help but ask the question that came to his mind."What model is it?"That was one thing he liked, finding out what weapons people used and liked. Knowing what was liked helped make better new designs. Plus, he enjoyed finding a few of his own designs scattered among the people of the city.IC (Outside of Housing District) Vrf-3"Not... again... please... don't..."His vocals sluggishly muttered. When Drone 2 reconnected, he would find a surprise. Security was already being sent a different video, one from about a month ago. it was wildly shaking, and it was clear that Vrf-3 had been spinning around in circles in the video, and not working.

IC: Zaphos - Information District"It's the BLARGH 9001," replied Zaphos. "Much more efficient than the new models floating around."

IC (Information District): Kyrahk"Oh... I didn't design that one."He muttered, a little disappointed."I created the SDW-300."

IC: Zaphos - Information District"I remember that one," said Zaphos cheerfully. "I used to use it before replacing it with the TIS-300, which I used before implanting this."He paused for a moment."I'm thinking of upgrading it," he continued. "You're a weapons designer, do you have any recommendations?"

IC (Information District): Kyrahk."I've been working on a new one, so far it's still in the prototype stages. I call it 'Falcon'. It packs a real mean Punch. Problem is that the recoil is strong enough to break the limb of whoever in holding it, or is your case, break the neck."He explained to the Frostelus, grinning slightly that someone else actually knew something about weaponry.

IC: Nikaron"Well have you thought about the data flow, make it more efficient at converting commands to actions, you can remove some of the hardware for it and instead provide dampeners for the recoil." Nikaron suggested.

IC: Zaphos - Information District"I'm a Frostelus," replied Zaphos cheerfully. "I think we don't have necks."He paused for a moment, one hand reaching up to poke the space between his head and his body."Actually, we do. But we might be able to handle the recoil. It'll probably hurt though. And besides, I prefer a manual approach."

IC (Information District): Kyrahk"That would work quite well Nikaron... if I hadn't already done that to make room for the energy charge holder to store energy over time to amplify attacks."But, then he sighed."Not that it matters, the whole thing exploded this morning."

IC: Zaphos - Information District"What exactly happened?" asked Zaphos. "Most energy blasters are rather stable."

IC: (Information District): Kyrahk"Usually they are, but that's because of all the work put into them. The power overloaded the release server, and the energy flow disruption caused heat to built up and fuse the circuits together. Then, the energy started building up in the energy charge holder, until it just gave out, and then boom, the energy unleashed itself with a lot of force."He explained to the two who obviously understood enough about weapons."Enough force to bend a solid metal table and embed shrapnel into my walls."

IC: Nikaron"Yikes, but have you thought of converting it into a bomb?" Nikaron asked.

IC: Zaphos - Information DistrictZaphos nodded, taking note of things not to do if he ever made a weapon. It seemed as if one would have to make sure the components of a blaster were able to handle the power before assembling it so they would not explode."Have you thought of recreating it only with parts that can handle the strain?" he asked, before pausing. "Or as your friend here says, a bomb would work as well."

IC (Information District) Kyrahk"No. I've already made enough of those. Half of my past inventions have ended up as bombs. The other half have mostly ended up in the garbage."He grinned at Zaphos, chuckling a false laugh."I used the best parts I have access to. The energy strain on this one is just that extreme... I need a better spark fuse inhibitor before I even think about trying again. and there is no way I'm getting one of those."

IC: Zaphos - Information District"What if you added more circuits?" asked Zaphos. "That should stop the overloading by dividing the power flow into smaller amounts."

IC (Information District): Kyrahk"If I did that, it would severely reduce the output strength... and that is most certainly not good for a laser,"He explained to Zaphos with a nod."That works for rapid fire lasers though."

IC: Nikaron"However you could compensate by adding an amplifier, or you concentrate the beam and create a high powered sniper rifle." Nikaron suggest.

IC: Zaphos - Information District"I see," said Zaphos. "Say, have you thought of developing a different version of your 'Falcon', except with more of a Kick than a Punch?"He paused to listen to Nikaron's words."Or you could make it more of a heavy artillery weapon."

IC: Nikaron"I don't really see much benefit in converting it to heavy artillery. Then it would be just another dime a dozen of heavy artillery weapons. On the other hand a sniper, with the power of a canon, that's not something you see every day." Nikaron explained

IC:(Before Rataka's posts) As AEon flew away Demoris kept his eyes locked on the toa, who did nothing. In need of a pair of eyes Demoris took off and chased after AEon.(After Rataka's posts)The ghost complied with AEons request, if only because he needed someone to see for him."I reckon that Toa Techna wont recognize you if you keep your distance as you attack the assassin ... though that's risky either way we should return later regardless, I have a request for Amnchey and I want to have a look into that assassins mind"

IC (Science District):"That'll be hard, but I can manage getting to the assassin," Æon replied, now flying towards the shots fired earlier. She began to search for living beings, namely the assassin. She caught her eye on one of the apartment buildings, detecting a lifeform doing something. "I think he/she is in that building; I'll take a closer look." Æon said, flying in closer to the building, seeing Sylux shooting on it. "You get em' ."

IC Public Library: Bio"A spark fuse inhibitor eh?" I heard about those. "I think I can get you one Kyrahk. Where do you work?"

IC (Information District): Kyrahk"Re-adding an amplifier would result in the same explosion, as would trying to concentrate the beam. The systems I have just aren't strong enough for what I need them to do. And I prefer not to make heavy artillery, it doesn't always end well."He raised his eye-ridge at Bio, turning to look at the Matoran."What metal and quality can you get them in?"

IC Public Library: Bio"What metal do you want?" Bio asked. "I can get almost any kind."

IC - PC TowerThe sensor on his eye piece beeped. A Hacker was near. He bursted through the the elevator, gun pointed in front of him......Just as Æon flew off the building. He cursed. He'd get her later. Amnchey was the priority right now. "I'm going to ask once more: everyone, leave!"

IC: Before Onua could answer-"Oh, he was there, all right."-Another voice chuckled in for him.The ga-matoran assistant who had just interrupted smirked. "We were quaking in our greaves as a Psionics toa with a Komau ran in, shot the guards, and demanded to know where the library's central computer was. Gentii told her that the main was his, not Solaris'. She ended up leaving," she finished casually.Onua gave a naval salute fitting with his blazer. A light color touched his cheeks. "For the Public Library, Toa."

IC (public library):"For Techna," corrected Torch, nodding approvingly to Onua Gentii. "On behalf of the Toa Techna, allow me to offer you my sincere thanks. Any victory against the Hackers is a victory for Techna." And it also tells me who to watch, thought Torch.He hefted the cyber-book Solaris had given him. "Thanks for this, Solaris. Do you know if it has impressionment capabilities? I know memory impression isn't available to standard security clearance, but, you know..." Moving his hands in a downward gesture, Torch indicated his armor and implants, the highest grade, available only to people like the Toa Techna.

IC (Science District):Æon loaded a bullet in her pistol and fired it at Sylux, now also mentally attacking him. Demoris likewise attacked, and began feed on Sylux's bad emotions.OOC: THVN gave me a PM to puppet his character.

IC (Information District): Kyrahk"... How about a VX-56785-B model?"He asked the Matoran."Ever even seen one of those before?"

IC Public LIbrary: Bio"I think I can get one of those." Bio said with a grin. "But it will be... Uh... How shall I put this... Costly." Bio said. "Not as costly as getting one yourself mind you, but still costly." His grin grew even bigger."I assume that you are a law abiding citizen, correct?"

IC (Information District): Kyrahk"Of course I am, are you?"He didn't mention that owning one of those was illegal, he was testing the little Matoran. Using an illegal chips in one of his weapons, wasn't going to happen.

IC (Central Square):The Equinox sat back in his chair, currently programming a new security hardrive for Techna. "Almost finished," it murmmered. A Matoran intern walked up to The Equinox. "Equinox? Pro Coding Cor. has been attacked by an assassin." The Equinox's eyes blew right open. "Get me my car; don't crash it this time!"
