BZPRPG: Kumu Islets

IC (Lohkar)All across Xa-Koro, cannonballs were smashing into shop-fronts, ramming through doors, blasting holes in walls. Behind it, there could be heard the steady boom, boom of cannons."I know those guns," said Lohkar. His eyes narrowed. "It's the Infernavika."He turned back to his crew, who were mostly still inside the Black Spot."Lads!" he called. "We may 'ave a slight problem. Someone is usin' the Infernavika's guns to attack Xa-Koro."With that, expecting his men to follow, Lohkar ran off in the direction of the docks.

IC:Odhrán"Well that sure was interesting..." Odhrán said, finishing off his bottle and heading back inside.

IC - Kiox - Black Spot Inn/DocksAnd follow Kiox did. Strapping his ukulele over his shoulder, he ran outside. "Cap'n, I can probably stop some of those cannons with my mask, and use my element to stop him completely." he informed Lohkar.His sword was already out. While he could use it as an flash-freezer, he could probably direct waves with it as well.

IC (Lohkar)"Good," said Lohkar. "Let's find out who's responsible for this."When they reached the dock, they could see the Infernavika, guns blazing, floating out a little way from the jetties. On her deck, a figure could be seen.Tiras."Why, that mutinous little..." Lohkar growled. "Looks like the time ta use this 'as come sooner than expected..."Lohkar tore the paper off the package he was carrying, revealing a long, shiny, gun-like contraption. At one end of the barrel, there was a large, three-pronged grappling hook. At the other, there was a handle, a trigger, and a winch.Lohkar grinned."Pretty, isn't it?"With that, he took aim at the top of the Infernavika's masts, and fired. The grapnel went sailing up in to the air, trailing a cable behind it. It lodged at the crow's nest.The Lesterin winked."This is the best part," he said, and a second later the cable tautened and he was gone. Shooting through the air, Lohkar smiled against the air rushing past him. The powerful winch whirred as it reeled the cable in at incredible speed.

IC - Kiox - DocksThe Toa cracked his knuckles. Those were Aki's cannons being fired. Tiras was hardly doing it right.However, he was coming close enough to cause damage to the Kumu Islets. And the Islets were the only places where he wasn't looked down upon. Raising his arms to chest level, sword thrust diagonally in the air, all the cannons halted. The projectiles hit the ground and water as they stopped in their tracks. Once that was accomplished, the objects on the deck of the Infernavika came alive. Brooms, buckets, and other assorted things bombarded Tiras. This place was for rats, and it was his home.The waters rose, churned, and spun. They were under his influence now."Here's to the outcasts."Finally, the waves came up to attack Tiras brutally, and dislodge him from the deck.

IC: TellusTellus followed Cap'n Lohkar out of the Black Spot, grumbling. "If they've gone an' damaged the ship, I'll load them in a cannon..."Looking up at the figure firing the cannons, Tellus grinned. The ship was made of wood, and he was a Toa of Plantlife.Tiras, already under attack by Kiox, would find the deck itself rising up to trap him.

IC: The sound of booming cannons reached Odhran's ship where it was docked in the Xa-koro harbour. It seemed to be coming from another ship, which was firing heavily on the ramshackle town. Watching the destruction, Tooroko thought that this was the sort of action that a pirate crew should get involved in. The problem with this was that Captain Odhran was not present to give any orders."Ah, hang it" he said. He despised orders anyway. "To arms!" he cried to the other crew-members. "That ship is firing on where our captain is! Man the rigging, we're going after him!"OOC: Apologies to Biobeast for disobeying orders, but Odhran didn't say what to do if staying in the dock wasn't a good idea anymore (put the ship in danger). This ship is joining in the fight.

OOC: Feel free to join in. I don't care.IC:OdhránOdhrán left the Black Spot, and headed back to his ship. Or, he tried. When he reached where he thought it was docked, it wasn't there. Of course, it wasn't the right place, but Odhrán didn't know that.

IC(Draebe): The toa moved the ship, aiming the cannons accordingly.

IC:OdhránOdhrán noticed his ship moving past him. "Oi! You guys! Come back here!"

IC: Tooroko had gone below decks, and was gleefully firing his cannons towards both the Infernavika and any building in Xa-koro that rook his fancy. Because of the loud noise he was making, he did not hear the figure calling from on shore.OOC:

IC (Xa-Koro):Raknar, being Raknar, was already up the gangplank by the time Lohkar was flying up to the crow's nest.His axe drawn, he let out a Skakdi battle-cry, a tumultuous roar that shook the wood beneath his feet. He was angry. Angry at Tiras for interrupting a perfectly civil (albeit half-drunken) conversation. Angry at Lohkar for bringing the crew all the way down to Xa-Koro only to about-face and say they were going back to Ta-Koro.Skakdi didn't just get angry; they became downright furious. Raknar was no exception.He yanked open the trapdoor in the center of the Infernavika's deck and dropped through, landing roughly but surely three meters below. Straightening, he ran into the cannon room.Tiras was there.His eyes danced with a manic light as he loaded and reloaded the cannons. Raknar roared again, matching the cannons in sheer volume, and charged forward, his axe swinging down toward Tiras's shoulder.

IC(Draebe): The toa slowed the boat down. "Captain! Do I have a story to tell you! Get on board!"Most of his words were drowned out by the manic cannon fire.IC(Lord): "Cannonballs!? What!?" The toa was constantly melting any of the metal balls that came near him. He looked over at the coastline."DRAEBE! And some other ship! I knew he would do something like this...attack a Wretched...Hive...Wait...why is he doing this?" He continued trying to defend the village, a first for him. Flames rocketed out from his body. For once, he wasn't showing off.Just caring if he survived or not.

IC:Odhrán"DRAEBE!!!" Odhrán shouted. "TELL TOROOKO TO STOP FIRING! THAT'S AN ORDER!"

IC(Draebe): The pirate ran below deck. "TOROOKO! ODHRAN WANTS YOU TO STOP FIRING! AND ALSO, THAT'S AN ORDER! I'M HOPING THE ORDER WAS FOR MORE ALCOHOL, WE CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MUCH!"

IC: [Darylhii]Darylhii was trying to sleep peacefully when the cannonballs came, slamming into the building he was sleeping on. On as in he was not within but interior of the building, just the gutter. As the building collapsed, he fell along with it as well, continuing to sleep in the ruins of the building. That was when another cannonball slammed into the ground near him, sending him flying into the air, this time causing him to wake up.His first thoughts on being woken up were ones of anger and who he was going to kill. The Toa of the Green's second thoughts were that he was probably going to suffer tremendous damage to his body.So he decided to use his power over plants to create vines that grabbed onto a rather large rahi that was flying above him.The rahi shrieked, and began to fly off, hoping to flap hard enough so Darylhii's weight did not matter. However, it did not try hard enough, and the two began to fall. Luckily for the Toa of the Green, he had managed to thrown himself into the bay, hoping that he wasn't going so fast that the water felt like concrete. His companion however, crashed into an inn near the shore, dying immediately on impact.Several minutes later, Darylhii rose from the waters which he had crashed into, sore and incredibly angry.

IC: Shadow Tiras:Tiras noticed the newcomers, not so happy. He blasted through the deck of the Infernavika, falling down the the lower decks. Kiox's waves rushed into the boat's hull. If Kiox did not stop, he would sink the boat. Tiras then fired a blast of Sonics upward.OOC: Whoever was near Tiras, they would've fallen through the hole as well.

IC Yasurek:Yasurek was quite surprised to see the Infernavika firing its cannons at Xa-koro, especially the fact that Tiras was doing it. But he wasn't going to let the madman destroy a relatively nice village. He followed Raknar, sliding into the trapdoor, hanging back to assist him in his fight with Tiras if he needed it. He wasn't foolish enough to put himself between the angry skadi and his prey unless he had very good reason to.Unfortunately, there was suddenly a hole where Yasurek was standing. He jabbed a spear into the side of the ship to slow his descent to the lower decks. Tellus is not going to be happy about this damage, that's for sure, he thought to himself as he landed unharmed on solid ground.

IC: TellusTellus ground his teeth in frustration when he saw a hole blown in the deck. He drew his cutlass, but paused just before charging up the gangplank to deal with the turncoat. He looked around for a moment, before spotting Lohkar in the rigging, too far away to shout at.He charged below decks, thinking. I suppose I'll have ta wait to ask fer permission before loading the mutineer into a cannon....

IC: SalvinnSalvinn followed Stralix to the delta, "So, Stralix, you're the inventor, how should we start?"OOC: Can they hear the cannonballs?

IC: [Septimus]Septimus' first thoughts on the cannonballs slamming into the marketplace was to run. His second thought was if he could slam the cannonballs away using his Kohlii skils. Then he remembered that a sword probably wasn't strong enough to hold back a cannonball."Should we run?" he asked, turning to face Cersei.

OOC: Geisthaende:.........I'll get back to you on that one.I have been thinking pretty hard about his inflection and voice recently-so that's a pretty coincidence. I HAVE decided that his voice is similar to that of Masaki Terasoma's Hidan. But apart from my knowledge that in the real world, he'd be Scottish, Gallic, Scandinavian, Slavic, British, German, and Indian AT THE LEAST, his accent and dialect remain undefined.IC: The Captain genuinely wanted to aid his pirate brethren in their retaking of The Infernavika with his BAHD SKILLZ.He really did.But that didn't change his mournful shoving of the ukulele back into his belt. Neither did it change the fire alighting in his eyes as he charged. And most importantly, it did absolutely nothing to stop the fact that he had just scrambled below decks--And was now yelling: "NO ONE STEALS MY LETTUCE-EATING TOOLZ, DAWG! SUCK THE POWAH OF CAPPIE!" while his crossbow angrily spat out cartridge's worth of bolts at Tiras.

IC: Shadow Tiras:Tiras noticed the bolts flying towards him. Tiras attacked back by lashing out with a blast into the arrows, shattering them. Tiras then blasted deeper into the ship.

IC: [Darylhii]Darylhii walked onto the shore of the Islet, water dripping off his armour. He was incredibly sore from the fall into the sea, and he really wanted to take revenge on whoever fired the cannonball at him. After looking around, he found the source of the cannonballs, which was the ship that had been docked nearby. He growled, before focusing all his energy into his hands, slamming them into the ground.People nearby would suddenly see a massive tree emerge from the ground, with a Toa of the Green running up its branches towards the ship.

OOC: Aren't the cannons belowdecks?IC (Infernavika, Xa-Koro docks):When Tiras blasted a hole in the floor and fell through, Raknar leapt after him.Caught up in the rush of air and wood fragments, impact with something solid came as a surprise. He lifted himself up and spun to see Tiras blasting more bursts of sonic and blasting another hole in the floor.Raknar growled and leapt over the chasm--A blast of sound hit him like a wall, so loud it--Where am I? he questioned himself for the briefest instant. Then he felt the rush of air in his face, the sting of wood striking his armor, the rough feel of his battleaxe's handle in his grasp.Growling, he slung the battleaxe downward at Tiras, simultaneously flipping over in midair so that he would land gracefully (for a Skakdi) on his feet below.

OOC: Ask yourselves before reading this post: What do you think Doomie did when he WASN'T eating or sitting up in the swivel kanoka-launcher's seat?IC: As Tiras fell below decks, however, he landed on a barrel that had just rolled out from a group of other containers. It was too convenient of a roll to be natural, any experienced fighter would know. But what could be its cause?A grinning Doomslayer leapt down at the De-Toa. "Y'ART A FOOL, HOMEDAWG! I'M ABOUT TO UNLEASH MY SECRET WEAPON!," yelled he while chucking his throwing knife at the guy.

IC: Shadow Tiras:Tiras remembered Doomslayer's ability-- to control oil and such like substances. He deflected Raknar's attack with his sword and pushed him onto the barrel. The knife that was thrown at him, shattered again. Tiras then launched himself at Doomslayer.

OOC: Actually, Tiras only knows that Doom has a Matatu...Or at least thinks he does ;3 But that conclusion works either way.IC: The Captain's throwing knife was shattered. His repeating crossbow had been left behind. And his surujin, explosives, and dao were hardly useful in such a confined space.Which meant...CHAHP-CHAHP TIEM.Doomslayer grinned yet again. With a smooth motion his kukri was unsheathed and sticking out in such a way that Tiras would be impaled upon it through the chest in his leap. "EAT SERIOUS LETTUCE, BRO!"OOC: I don't see how Tiras can dodge it when they're in such a small space and he's moving at high speed through the air, but it's really your call.-The Fearless Leader

OOC: Hau is way better although a little psycho in the mind; care to explain?IC: Shadow Tiras:In the shadow of the deck, Tiras shapeshifted into Lohkar. Doomslayer would be shocked to see him try to kill his leader.

Jild observes the battle taking place on the opposite ship from his resting position. Should he interrupt and ask the being to join; or see how it turns out?Okay, Makuta.The Skakdi decides to watch the battle and see how it turned out. If the being proved himself against those odds he would definetly be hired.-Mef Man

OOC: It'll all be explained...Later ;3Also, making the counterattack connect. But I won't make it instantly lethal-not sure if you want Tiras to live or not.IC: But it was too late for Aki to change his defense even if he wanted to. Especially considering that was when the barrel flew up and struck 'Lohkar' from behind--Spitting the foe pirate on the kukri submerging twixt his lower ribs."O CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN!," the distraught Doomslayer cried. "OUR FEARFUL TRIP IS DONE!" He pointed to the ruined buildings of Xa-Koro outside through a port.The two had landed on the deck at this point. But the merc still continued. "THE SHIP HAS WEATHERED EVERY RACK," the toa jerked his head towards the remnants of tidal waves and throwing knives were scattered across The Infernavika as he spoke."THE PRIZE WE SOUGHT IS WON!," he sniffed tearfully, examining 'Lohkar' for his pack and the grenades within--Then realized that the being had none."OH. CARRY ON WITH YOUR BITING OF THE DUST, THEN."

IC: TellusTellus had watched through the hole in the deck as Tiras transformed into a double of Lohkar. Still angry about the holes punched in the deck, he called to Doomslayer, "He's Tiras. Just used some mask or power o' some sort. Do me a favor an' tie 'im up an' stick 'im in a cannon, will ya? I have a personal promise to fulfill, but I need to ask Lohkar somthing first."He walked to the deck above, grimacing at the holes, and looked up to where Lohkar was in the rigging. Not wanting to climb, he yelled, "PERMISSION TO LOAD THE MUTINEER INTO A CANNON AND FIRE IT, CAP'N? I MADE A BIT OF A PROMISE TO MESELF CONCERNIN' THE PERSON WHO WAS FIRIN' INTO XA-KORO IF HE DAMAGED THE SHIP!"OOC: I know that answer's going to be no, but Tellus doesn't know that. XD

IC: [Darylhii]Darylhii jumped off the branches of the tree he had made, landing on the deck of the ship that had fired the cannonballs into the spot he had been sleeping in. The crew members were present on the deck, meaning that he would have to find out who fired the cannonballs by asking them, and he hated talking. He much preferred killing indiscriminately."Who fired the cannonballs?" he said, addressing all the crew members on the deck.OOC: Oh hai dere.

IC: Tiras:"GAH! YOU IMBECILE! I AM OUT OF HERE!" Tiras roared as he blasted everyone around him and broke another hole in the hole, and dived underwater.

IC: Doomslayer broke his flight with the barrel, however. He grinned jauntily. "CAP'N, DO I GET TREZUR FOR THIS?"Tiras couldn't live much longer at this rate. Blood and seawater were filling up his right lung due to the hole, and he couldn't breathe because of it too. The stab's damage wouldn't be an instant kill, but a kill nonetheless without immediate aid.

IC: TellusTellus heard the deck break again and cursed bitterly. "DISREGARD THAT QUESTION!" He yelled up to Lohkar, then turned to the newcomer. "The guy who's most likely trying to escape!"He raced below decks, to find a hole in the hull. "If anybody is going through there, tell me now. I'm going to have to fix this soon."

OOC: Broke a hole... in a hole? IC Yasurek:Yasurek ducked behind a small barrel with his small size to avoid the sonic blast and followed after Tiras who had blown a hole... in a hole. "I'm going after him," he said to Tellus, diving into the water and hurling a spear at Tiras like a harpoon.

IC: Tiras:The real Tiras emerged rom the ashes. All Tiras could think of was death, nothing that he could avoid now. In a last ditch attempt, he blasted the Infernavika with a sonic boom, and choked of blood and water. Tiras was gone now.

IC - Kiox - InfernavikaUsing his water power, he was on deck soon."Guys, I think we broke 'em." he chuckled.He looked over the dead Toa."I call 'is mask!"

"So much for that," he mutters before turning back to the direction of Le-Wahi. "Here I come, Beast."OOC: Revan and Jild to Le-Wahi.-Mef Man
