  • IC Jokar - Onu-Koro - Talking to Mero and Kirgon: "I see... I'm Jokar, local jester and trickster," he said, semi-advertizing himself to the two of them. He then decided to ask a few questions about the two, "An odd pair, you two. Where did you get that tail, Mero?" he asked, looking at said tail, he couldn't come up with a plausible explanation for him to have a tail, but he did know basic Toa and Matoran anatomy, and neither species ever grew tails as far as he knew. -Jokar

  • OOC: Waht you did there Joske. I SEE IT! =D IC:Agni and Valria had been sitting for a while now, each of them quietly sipping their water. The hum of the voices in the inn had dropped to a lesser volume since they had entered. The majority of the patrons had left, to go back to the markets or to return to work in the mines. It left the Inn relatively empty and the low voices created an atmospher that the Toa of fire found perfect for reflection. Valria seemed similarly lost in thoughts, though Agni doubted she shared his fondness of the place, not with shattered past, that needed to be pieced together in her head. Agni wanted to help her, he truly did. That's why he had come along, that's what he he needed to do. It was what had made him unhappy in his guard-duties. Small-time actions, nothing with an impact. Now there was a chance of helping a fellow Toa and rid the world of at least a bit of evil.Yet somehow, he felt that, even with what they were doing now, it wasn't enough. Walking around, retracing steps, finding clues. All that was good guard-work. But as Valria had said, she had been a member in a Toa-team. A team that had obviously been seen on the island. And if that was the case, there would be more people who knew about them. His head skipped a few steps and Agni had to chuckle softly at the sudden realization that maybe the wealth of Toa that had appeared on the island was a possibly reason for the sudden vanishing of Takua, the chronicler. He could imagine having to write down ALL the adventures of ALL the Toa to be quite a chore. He focused back on the topic at hand. Asking around wildly wouldn't be very productive, that much was clear. And if whoever was responsible for Valria's state was still around, who knew. Maybe they were being watched. Making themselves known could attract the wrong sort of attention. But there was somebody else they could ask for council. It had been long since Agni had last seen him and even longer since they had exchanged words, but the Turaga was like the earth he and his people lived in and would remember. He looked at Valria and cleared his throat. The Toa of gravity looked up from her mug. "How about we pay Turaga Whenua a visit after this?"

  • IC Chronn "A knife, the weapon of the weak, the cowardly, those who don't want their foe to have a chance." I snarled into D's ear, making sure he heard me perfectly. "I know you used a knife. And you know it. Now admit guilt, and a might just hand you over to the Turaga." I was lying, but he didn't know that.

  • IC: Chronn "I have more than enough witnesses." I lied, my mouth smirked slightly as I saw him glancing at the Matoran. Interesting. "But we both know you did it, and I don't have to give you a slow, painful, agonizing death." I leaned closer to his face. "Where every scream, every drop of blood, every second you want to die, will take an eternity. Where you will wish you had never even thought of murder. Where every waking moment will be of infinite agony. Yourself kept alive only so you can face more pain."

  • IC Chronn I laughed audibly. "That's the point, it's supposed to hurt, you are supposed to suffer in torment and agony." I was grinning like a Muaka. "And trials? Why would you get one of those? Have you done anything to earn it? Given any information in exchange?" I couldn't help but enjoy informing this murderer about my justice. "Rights, you have no rights. You are just a killer, a worthless blemish on the face of the island. Oh yes, the closest to a right you have is the choice to admit or die."

  • IC(D, Mirr): "It sounds as if I were to admit it, I would die anyway." He looked at Mirr, who was beginning to get nervous at his creepy demeanor. He stepped back, now holding D's mask tightly, as if the captive could move it with his mind.

  • IC: "T-th-that might help." She stuttered, she was glad she still had basic ideas of things around the island, but any memory of meeting these people seemed to be lost and probably for good reason, if she pushed too hard on her own. Somewhat happier she nodded. "Sure, I mean it can't hurt..can it?" She asked, in someways she was hoping it wasn't but that was far from the truth. OOC: Sorry internet wasn't working for the better half of the day.

  • IC(D): The staff went through his eye...And D took his chance. He began to seek out the Elemental Energy of the Toa of Lightning, using the staff as a conducter. Once he found it, he began to take bits and pieces of it, gradually using it to replenish his own.He would get a new eye later. Or maybe an eyepatch, those were in style. He then realized he was in a large amount of pain."AAAAAAAAAA! OHMAKUTAWHY!!!!"

  • IC: Chronn As soon, as the eye was struck, Chronn pulled back his staff. "As you can see, it may be wise to admit your guilt, or I can make you actually feel pain, not just a minor hurt." He pulled out his dagger, holding it above D's left hand. "Now, how many fingers do you wish to lose, or will you admit your guilt?"

  • IC(D): He smirked, and began to laugh. Electricity crackled from his hands. "Now really, was it the best...Ow, my eye...Idea to let another toa of electricity have a DIRECT CONDUIT TO YOU?" The electricity burned the ropes, weakening them enough for a maskless toa to break through them. and, quickly, he ran over to Mirr, knocking him down. "I'll be taking this." He grabbed his mask from Mirr, teleporting away. OOC: Er...I may have actually done too much there.

  • IC: Kethrye:Note to self; never keep a prisoner's mask in the same room as the prisoner, Kethrye thought, heading for the office's door, Also; Chronn's interrogation tactics are a bit.. questionable. " Next time we interrogate, we do it in a room without windows." Kethrye quipped as he slammedthe door open and stepped out onto the Onu-Koro street. Kethrye scanned the street, looking for any sign of the escaped murderer.

  • IC: Wiremu grew less and less optimistic as Joske continued - his argument, which had had Wiremu convinced only minutes before, now seemed pale and insubstantial before Whenua's skeptical attitude. The Turaga had that effect - he tore away everything until he reached the truth. It's an admirable quality, Wiremu reflected, but not one that's going to help me now... Joske eventually petered out; even his unconquerable bravado could not endure against Whenua's stony impassiveness. There was a silence that seemed to Wiremu, in his anxious anticipation, an age. But finally the Turaga spoke. "I see now, Wiremu, that you will never be happy to stay in Onu-Koro. You have the heart of a voyager. And, contrived though Joske's excuse is," He looked pointedly at the Ta-matoran, making him shrink a bit, "it may have some value. You will see the lands beyond your home, and perhaps come back wiser, cleverer, when at last you return. I can only hope that traveling will emphasize more strongly to you the importance and direness of our world. "I know that if you were to stay, you would only grow to resent your Koro, and your people," Whenua went on, and he held up a hand to silence Wiremu's attempted protestation. "No, Wiremu, I don't doubt your loyalty to all of us. But it is impossible for someone to truly devote themselves to the same community that continually shuts down their dreams. If I had kept you here, overworked, unhappy, you would have learned in your hear to hate us. I do not want to see that happen. "So you can go. Do what you please, Wiremu, for I have enough confidence in you - I know that no matter where you go, you will stay loyal to our Koro and to your people." Wiremu couldn't really believe what he'd heard. "Well, I don't want to keep you waiting!" Whenua said, finally smiling. "Go, Wiremu and Joske! You adventure with my blessing."
