Kill him. I like Matrapolix, but he already died and came back twice.

  • I'm currently skimming through Savina's adventures, trying to figure out what to post. Let me just say approving a cat-Hordika character wasn't as silly an idea I thought it would be. :P

Hi guys, I'm new here. I figured I'd ask your opinions before posting this character, because he's a little unorthadox as far as this RPG goes. What would you say to a character who came from outside the Techna? Meaning, he's a spacer. He'd be a completely organic species, and his reason for being on the Techna is that his ship was damaged, and the Techna happened to be nearby. Because the technology is almost incompatable, he's now stuck here.I thought that a character who wouldn't know anything about what's going on would be a good way for me to start figureing things out myself.

Is this character a complete alien? If so, having such a character would take away one reason for opposing factions' frustration and thus hinder the plot a bit; if the character, however, is originally from Spherus Magna, that would work.

And I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. Like I said, I'm new.

No, you're fine. This is where you discuss Techna; the Character Database is where you post your profile; and the Techna topic is where you roleplay.

  • KNI: Well, he's not alone, it's just that the others in my group aren't on yet. xD Plus, I'm more or less trying not to kill the hackers... But Blade's Toa Code is slightly more morally ambiguous, due to the whole brainwashing incident. Mostly, I'm just trying to clear a path. xD

Why thank you. It's less silly than I though it would be too. :P Honestly it's one of the more interesting characters I've created for an RP.

Savina more or less is driven by survival and protecting her friends. Therefore the Toa Code does not apply with her. You attack her or her friends, she rip you apart. :P

  • We need a MAD SCIENTIST. Though seriously, I've got to come up with someone who is responsible for making Savina a hordika. I could just make another character myself...but that wouldn't be as much fun...As for plot ideas...how about some sorta...viral infection starts spreading through the ship? That could be made into a great plot, trying to find a cure for the virus as it spreads from person to person...

  • I second the crash landing idea. It would be good to get the characters onto terrain they know nothing about, since many have known Techna their whole lives.Besides, a new species would be cool.

  • On that note; what will happen to the transfer system? If there is a crash landing, a lot of stuff will be knocked offline, or at least, will have been more than likely, by the time the crash happens. And while it would cause some intriguing comments for people newly transferred there, leaving people in the dark about what happened to the Techna, and more or less severing communications between Techna and Spherus Magna would be pretty good for keeping mystery. We'll all probably fragment into groups, though. Again. After we only just all met up. =P(Though, we still need to get over to Airu to have that meeting be complete.)

  • Crash-landing on a planet and finding aliens? Cliche.Go the Firefly way and don't have any aliens. Because Firefly is awesome. My suggestion -The Great Being saboteur from the main story is real. When the Techna was created, he boarded onto it, and has been living on it for 100,000 years. He was actually responsible for the first Hacker group that killed Ion, and fed Enaltai the information on the wormhole - which doesn't go to Spherus Magna. When the Hackers go through, it instead hurtles the Techna-Nui into the planet where the Great Beings resided. The ship happens to land on the coast of a small, Rhode Island sized landmass where the Great Beings built their home. That's enough space to go around, me-thinks. Maybe bigger. Thus, many bio-mechanical Rahi - ones never seen before - reside. However, something killed all of the Great Beings. Something that may still be around. Or not. Instead of natives, the area is occupied by a few other beings of the Matoran Universe brought by the Great Beings who helped them build up their cities and tame the area, though none remember what happened. Perhaps even a few unique entities were kept there was well, and newly created Matoran (actual matoran) are found in stasis across the area.Stuff like that. Oh, and robots. Lots of robots.Of course, that's also pretty cliche. Still, it's better explained then 'crash into planet that somehow has the same atmosphere and a race of aliens'.-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:

Fight off an evil computer A.I. that killed the Great Beings? Try to find a way to repair the Techna? Do both at the same time while having to fight off brain-washed Toa and Matoran that are native to the planet? Have the Elemental Lords show up just for kicks? Just throwing some ideas in for the melting pot.

Wherever the Karz would want! I'm just throwing the basic idea. I'll name off the scenarios that first come to mind -1. The source of the Equinox virus. You would, of course, have to speak with both KNI and TD to figure out exactly what that means, since TD seems to already have some sort of idea based on that.2. Robot attack (cliched...)3. Lost (polar bears!)4. Surviving Great Being5. The saboteur on-board starts forming up his own armies.6. Figure out why the creators died off.7. Stargates.EDIT: Based on what Snelly said, what about Toa made into Element Lords? Multiply element lord power by the powers of a Toa and you get an unearthly powerful entity.-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:

  • Dude... Stargates. But to alternate universes. We could pull anything from any universe we wanted... be it a Bionicle character or otherwise. Tahu, Luffy, Obi-Wan, Naruto, Commander Shepard (either Mass Effect or Stargate [lol the arguements of "No, I'm Commander Shepard!"]), and Spock running amok in a Bionicle setting would be amazing.Or maybe I'm absolutely insane and that wouldn't be a Bionicle RPG anymore and it wouldn't work whatsoever. Either way.
