BZPRPG: Kini-Nui

IC: With a short "Hup!" Atiel followed down the rope, seizsing it with vigor and rapelling down in great leaps, reaching the bottom rapidly.

Ic: After Aurax descended, and some hassle with trying to get a ussal crab to rappel in a confined tube, Stannis went down. The rest of the team members could be heard, heir echoing voices reverberating off the walls, tinny from the long distance down. One by one, their voices trailed off and Stannis could sense some light coming up, and finally, without warning, he plopped out of the cave like a child from a slide and landed on a the ledge he predicted would be waiting for him. He looked around and could see places where the scree had been disturbed. His companions had descended to the valley floor below.The view was spectacular. All of Po-Wahi was scrawled beneath him, and he could see the magnificent slot canyons, the majestic stone edifices, the massifs that protruded from place to place, the vast carpet of yellow and brown, and the scant scattered oases marked by their telltale greenery. Settlements dotted the landscape, their huts like miniscule ooids in a pattern, their inhabitants invisible. The sun seemed higher here, mainly because the horizon was far lower on Po-Wahi than in the high plateau of the Kini-Nui, and this gave him and his team a little more time to set up camp.And with that in mind, he went down.Ooc: To Po-Wahi.

IC: Kahua walked around. "The Kini-Nui...what the karz would he be doing here? Last time I checked, this place is where six Toa just disappeared. Is it such a good idea to come here?" He formed a sword and axe from iron sand, ready to fight Solaris, win, and get the karz out of the Kini-Nui before he became Makuta-bones.

OOC: Lost from Ta-WahiICLost ran up behind Twiak. "Where, Do you, think, your, Going?" He said, out of breath.

IC:Twiak stood over the main shrine of the temple, seemingly unaware of Lost's presence."Here." The mad Toa breathed. "He's here. he can hear me shout, why no response. Not like me now?" Twiak broke out into a fit of laughter "KYAHAHA. Not want me to feed, that why I go boom away? I hungry."He took one step into the tunnel that led underground."Go home now?"

IC: Ghar-Knel looked at Kahua. "Foolish Toa," he said. "This place is more than just where the six Toa disappeared. This place is more than that. But what it is, is lost on me."Mip looked around. "I bet there are some carvings on the Amaja Nui.""Not the time," Ghar-Knel whispered. "I see him."Solaris stood in front of the trio. "Uh, hi," he said. "I'm Solaris, Toa of Electricity. Who are you?"Ghar-Knel looked puzzled. Had he lost his enemy? Was he dangerous anymore. Would it be right to kill him and take the money. Morality didn't matter to the Vortixx. He raised his scoped rifle and inserted a magazine of crossbow bolts."What are you doing?" Solaris asked. "What did I ever do to you? Who are you people?!"Mip looked nervously at the trembling Toa. "Should we at least introduce ourselves?" he asked Ghar-Knel and Kahua. "Or give him some mercy? Maybe he's not a threat anymore. Maybe you don't need to kill him." The poor Toa of Fire was nervous. He had never seen a killing before, and he didn't want to. He didn't want to take part in this anymore.Solaris unsheathed his sword and put it on the ground. "I'm unarmed," he said. "Don't kill me please. I don't remember anything. You two Toa, be voices of reason. I don't know what this is all about. What are you doing? Why do you want to kill me? Where am I? Please, let's just talk, here."

IC: Kahua stared. "Insane criminal? What was that you were saying?" He swung his sword at Ghar-Knel. "START TALKING!"

IC: Ghar-Knel was really confused now. "My employer told me that he was an insane criminal," the assassin said, looking at the ground. "His Toa team led an assault on my master's base to protect their precious Matoran. They were not able to capture my employer, but left him scarred and broken. I hunted down each member of the team and killed them. Solaris escaped and hid out on a faraway mountainous island, where he grew insane. He must have gone into a bout of extreme insanity and lost his memory. Now I don't know what I'm going to do with him."Mip looked at Kahua, then at Ghar-Knel, then at Solaris. This was all just too much for the tiny scholar.Solaris looked at the ground as well. "I didn't know I did all that," he said. "So I'm insane. At least I know that, now. But I can't believe I did all that. Who am I?""I don't know who anyone is anymore," Ghar-Knel said. "I'd call my employer, but my communicator signal is interrupted on this island. There are some small islands on the southern coast. They're dangerous, but they're our best chance. Once I know what to do with you all..." He trailed off and looked to the sky.Mip was really scared now. What was going to happen?

IC: Kahua stopped mid-swing. "Then...who's your employer? If he needed YOU to do this job, then he can't do it himself..and that means you're stronger..so we should have a word with him, if you know what I mean."

IC(Jeni): "My dad died and this place is quiet enough for some... contemplation." She sighed. "And I, personally, would like it if you left." Jeni was still mad.

IC: More deaths, Weta thought. That makes three today; her father, mine, and whoseever funeral was happening at Le-koro. I can understand her wanting to be alone. Still, he did not move. Instead, he moved closer and said " That is sad news indeed. Also this morning, Tang the hermit has died, who was as a father to me. If you consent, please let me stay with you. A hermit's apprentice knows the value of silent contemplation".

IC(Jeni): She crossed her arms. "Fine. You're a hermit then?" She asked, a sour noise in her voice.

IC: "I lived with Tang for 25 years to learn the ways of Mata Nui. Does that make me a hermit? I suppose it did, but no longer. I have left our hut to the north of here, and now I have come to the temple to seek my destiny."

IC(Jeni): "Oh, what I could tell you about Destiny. It's a complicated thing. Very complicated."

IC: "Yes, that much Tang managed to convey to me. Still, it is our duty as toa to strive for the destiny given us by the Great Spirit. We serve and uphold the virtues."

IC: Ghar-Knel smiled grimly. "I don't know who he is," he said. "I never met him in person, and I don't know what island he is on out there. I've only heard his voice a few times, and it didn't sound like anyone I knew." He shook his head. "But if we got off this rock, we could get at him. We can't so we'll have to bring him here."Solaris was still in shock from the Vortixx's brief history class. "Did I kill anyone when we attacked your employer?" he asked.Ghar-Knel looked up at the Toa. "Your team killed a total of eight people."Mip winced at the news, looking Solaris in the eye."I....... I'm sure we had a reason," Solaris said, forcing a smile."I'm sure you did," the assassin said. He turned around, looking at the trees. Then, without warning, he swung around and shot Solaris.He didn't see it coming. The Toa of Electricity's eyes closed as he fell back."That wasn't a fatal shot," Mip said, examining the crossbow bolt. "What's your plan?""Solaris is the bait," Ghar-Knel said. "We're bringing my employer here. When he sees Solaris unconscious with a bolt sticking out of his chest, he'll think he's won. We get the money, and take him down. Everyone's happy and alive and rich. What do you say, Kahua?"

ICLost was starting to catch light of what Twiak was trying to do. "Twiak, I swear in the name of Karzanhi, if you go back to him, I will personally rip your heart out!"

IC:Twiak wasn't listening, the infected Toa seemed to be in some sort of trance."Come back." he whispered softly. "Wants me back? No?." Twiak suddenly started yelling. "WHY NO ANSWER!"He summoned a ball of flame and shot it forward, burning a small tree.

IC: Asari walked back to his hut to see...OMGZ!!!!! SOLARIS HAS BEEN SHOT!!!! "What happened to Solaris?! Did one of you do it?" He pointed to the Vortixx and the...was it a tall Matoran or a short Toa? Asari didn't know.

IC: Kahua stared. "Yes...but how will your employer know what we've done and where we are?"

OOC: I think in Meme now. MAKUTA! Y U NO ANSWER!ICHe clenched his fist, and particles of Nothingness seeped from his hand. "He doesnt WANT you back! Why do you think you were in LE-WAHI! He wants to get RID OF YOU! Twiak, I understand you, I am probably the ONLY person who does, and if you dont stop, you are going to lose the only person who doesnt see you as some animal thats about as useful as a pile of Gukko Dung!"Lost was quite angry. IC: Ghar-Knel's thermal imaging headgear picked up a new signal. "Hold onto that thought," he said, swinging around to face Asari. "Calm down, there's a reasonable explanation for this." He turned back to Kahua. "I can only signal my employer if I have a good link with my radio. We're going to need to go down to the Kumu Islets. That's our best bet. We tell him all he needs to know, turn on him, and get our revenge and reward."Mip nodded at the plan. "I like how that sounds. How long will Solaris be unconscious?" he said."Well, if he doesn't wake by the time we head out, someone's going to have to carry him," the Vortixx answered. "And as the Matoran say when they are about to play a game of tag, 'not it.'"Solaris's eyes opened. He sat up, looking into Asari's face. "What just happened?" he asked. "And why is there a crossbow bolt sticking out of my chest?" He looked up at Kahua, Mip and Ghar-Knel. "What are you guys planning?"Mip saved Ghar-Knel the trouble of going into a rage over having to repeat everything, and explained everything to Asari and Solaris."So, we head to the Kumu Islets," Solaris said. "You wanna head out there, uh... what's your name, now... aha! Kahua. Shall we go?"

IC: Kahua stared. "We need a boat. And last time I checked, that place had a few Rahkshi in it."OOC:I know Xa-Kuta isn't real anymore, but there are still Rahkshi according to Friar Tuck.

IC:Twiak twitched, he could hear lost but did not want to."Want...death." He gasped. "No, you go. Shut up! GET OUT!"Twiak fell to his knees."Mine...now. No, kill me. NO! like pain, must feat. Shut up!"Twiak grabbed his head and was shouting like he was having an argument with himself. Suddenly he spun around and looked Lost dead in the yes. For the briefest second Twiaks' eyes were not dark and filled with malice and hunger, but were bright, and seemed like they were pleading for help."NO!" his eyes turned back again. "MINE! NOT YOURS! DIE!"With that, Twiak collapsed on the ground, twitching and babbling.

OOC: We'll burn that bridge when we get to it.IC: Solaris frowned. "A boat? How are we going to get one of those?"Ghar-Knel smiled. "There are trees all around us. Start building. As for the Rahkshi, we'll take care of them when we need to."Mip looked at the trees. "Build a boat? Are you serious?" he asked."Or we could take the ferry out of Le-Wahi," Ghar-Knel added. "Your choice, really."

IC: Kahua paused for a moment. "Actually...if I magnetize some Iron Sand..." He made a boat out of Iron Sand and put empty areas on the inside, pockets of air. "This should float." He dissolved it and put it all back in his can. "I'll make it again when we get to shore. After all, this IS the center of the island. No water for a few miles." He walked in the direction of Ga-Koro, where it would be easiest to set sail. "Start walking."OOC: Kahua to Ga-Koro.

IC: ಠ_ಠ. Asari was not impressed. "A logical explanation? YOU SHOT HIM. There'd better be a good explanation for this."

IC: Solaris patted Asari on the shoulder. "We're gonna head out, now," he said. "We got some work to do here, and uh, apparently getting shot was all a part of that shadowy Vortixx's plan. See ya."Ghar-Knel followed Kahua and Solaris to Ga-Koro, only looking back to make sure Mip didn't get himself killed by a tree branch.Mip had a hard time keeping up with everyone, but he did his best to at least stay close. Besides, he liked Ga-Koro.Solaris to Ga-Koro...Ghar-Knel to Ga-Koro...Miptel to Ga-Koro...

ICLost understood now. "Twiak, wake up." He grabbed him. "Makuta is your enemy. Wake up!"

IC:Twiak shook his head."DO NOT WANT!"

OOC: Should I attack him or what?IC"Twiak, you are a person inside this infected shell!" Lost got it. For some reason, he could see the person inside the beast, rather than the creature everyone else saw. "This thing is not you, and you need to get rid of it!"

IC:Twiak continued to shake but then he heard another voice."Do not fear Twiak, you can control this."Coming from the other side of the temple was a female Turaga, hobbling toward them."You are unstable, but control it. you know you can." Kirhika said calmly. "Hear my voice, and come back to whatever sanity you have left."Twiak stopped shaking and got to his feet. His eyes had returned to their twisted focus."Good...now." He said shakily. "Hungry.""Good." The Turaga said, she turned to Lost. "You must excuse Twiaks'...unusual behavior. Blood lust and carnage are things he lives for, and an extended time without it proves to be... difficult."Twiak then burst into laughter, clearly back to his old self again. "Feed time. he cackled. Must go?""I am Kirhika by the way. Your ability to deal with Twiak is impressive, and I would like to help you...if that is acceptable. He can be quite the handful after all."OOC: I'm putting her here so that you don't have to talk to a brick wall anymore. She's not suspicious at all BTW.

IC Lost was glad to have someone with the same understanding of Twiak as he did. "I would be happy to have you along. Do you know how we can help him?"

IC:Kirhika shook her head. "Sadly, his infection is to far gone for us to do anything about it. Just take care of the poor dear, until it literally eats him away." Although her words sounded sincere, Kirhika did not seem entirely bothered by this. "We were part of the same Toa team once, trust me he wants it this way."

OOC: Wow my brony. Hard stuff, man. Hard Stuff : And is there a rule against Machine Gunning? I cant remember IC"I... Understand." Perfect. The one sliver of hope he had was shattered now. He had started to grow on Twiak, and now he just wanted to grab Makuta by the neck, and throttle him to death, then take his corpse, dunk it in lava, then cryogenically freeze it, then shatter it with a large hammer made out of a tree, even more then before. "Are you absolutely sure there is no hope, or is there a chance, even minuscule, that he can be saved? Anyway?"

OOC: Sorry about the wait.IC(Jeni): "Virtues...Unity, Duty, and Destiny, right?"

OOC: You want to shoot Twiak with a machine gun? :PIC:"Well." Kirhika thought. "It takes six Toa to cleanse one infected mask, it would take who knows how many more to cure Twiak, but there might be a way." Kirhika seemed to be in deep though. "Takua the Chronicler had many journeys on this island before he vanished, perhaps he knows a way that he told his company about?"Twiak meanwhile was licking his lips and giggling. "To much talk, want food. kyahaha, to feast.'

OOC: Repeated posting between two people.ICLost perked up. "Where is the Chronicler's company now?"

IC:"Scattered around the island in their villages. I think Ga-Wahi would be the best place to go first, as there is also somebody else there who myself and Twiak have dealt with in the past."

IC "Shall we go then?" He said, grabbing Twiak by the arm. OOC: This is a space filler. This fills space. Additionally, I am tired.

IC:"Lets." She replied.OOC: Kirhika, Twiak and Lost ot Ga-Wahi, when I feel interested in posting.
