I'm interested. I have the perfect idea for a character, and, considering he already exists in the BZPRPG, I'll only have to do some tweaking. I may not get around to it tonight, though...
Meh. I recycle characters. Levacius is just a recycled version of the same character. Though he's been turned into a brown paper bag a number of times by now. He used to be a mulicolored, naive, heroic who used a spear and shield and had wings. Wings. But that Levacius is gone. XD It's all moving so fast... when I first posted the topic, I expected everyone to flood to Epoch of Despair and Dreamland, but now the exact opposite is happening. Should I be glad, frustrated, or both?Enaltai blacked out a small portion of Central Square for several minutes and called the Hackers to a secret base, the internet is down (so no communications), and there haven't been any large hacking attempts as of late. Perhaps the Hackers are planning something -- who knows? Otherwise, no other events large enough to affect all of Techna have occured as of late, unless I'm missing something, in which case, could someone please fill me in?

Well, I don't know if it can be considered a 'hacking attempt', but Zero's been awakened, and someone hacked into the lab where he was to do so, so it could be considered a hacking attempt to awaken him, regardless of what side they're on. =P

No. They require internet access for internet-based actions, yes (for example, looking up information); however, without the internet, implants can still open files on their hard drives (EXE, JPEG, etc.), edit programs, and whatever else doesn't require connection with everyone else to work.Just to double check, the brain implants require Internet access to function, right?

He's at the MRU Station 1, somewhere on the border of the Information and Science districts.

My character is an MRU. (Maintenance and Repair Unit.) He was a prototype, and it was decided that already existing shops took care of the needs of the citizens aboard Techna Nui, so no other MRUs were made. He was left running, though.X7-K4 does work on just about anything from implants that can be accessed without surgery to appliances for businesses. If something breaks, you could go to him.Or you could be walking by, see it, and wonder what in the world an MRU was and why it'd need a station.
How about a scenario in which sometimes Cryos would visit X7-K4 sometimes, just to keep him company or something?EDIT: Actually, scratch that, I'll just stumble upon it.

Since giving you guys the explanation of my plan - especially when I'm still not secure in victory - would be a foolish thing done by somebody with absolutely no sense of being Genre-Savvy, would be foolish, I will merely let it be known that I have a plan, and by the end of this RPG it will be completed. Denying that I have a master plan, however, would be pointless, as you already know this. No, not Goldion Hammer. Golden Hammer. Because the hammer is gold. Well, actually, it's yellow. But yellow was used to represent gold in medieval times, and Yellow Hammer sounds like it wouldn't be legal in most countries. Oddly though, my first result when searching for the term is -

This means the staff, both in-game and out-of-game, have become weeker. Over the next week, the staff will be watching roleplayers closely to see if any are worthy of becoming either staff, a member of the Toa Techna, or both.2. How... did it go from 4 Co-GMs and the 1 GM to 2 and 1? O_OThe three above choices are all good because all have a steady stream of posts and can probably manage keeping on track with the RPG. So I can endorse them, and a few others as they come up.So yeah, that's my 36 cents.No Staff for me though. I wouldn't mind tossing my hat into the ring, if people wanted me to. I might not be as active in here right now, but that's only because I'm still trying to think up how to get Zero back into actual play. That's when things might pick up a bit more. =)
