  • I've been thinking of ways to turn that boring housing district into a housing district inside a mountain and suggesting giant mutated wasps in space, but only Hubert and ToD have taken an interest to one of these ideas...Bold italic underlined like a Middle School teacher!@ King of No Isles & Mef Man; Unlikely. I kill things and take their stuff. >_<@ Hubert; Hey, you're on when it counts. :P I elect Hubert for Techna!-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:

  • What, Hrunja the Game-Maker as a Toa Techna? You want a somewhat arrogant guy who shoots swords out of his dimensional pocket at people as a protector of the city? A guy whose sword shoots giant beam of stripped electrons at people? No. Besides, I'm already busy as a Co-GM on a RPG over at another forum.

  • It's just the fact that the more 'popular'-seeming members have shown their experience in RPing to everybody, meaning that people know that they can probably do the best at being a Game Master.Anyway, Lev, have you updated that Yellow Pages thing?

  • The current list of co-host nominees is as follows:

    • [*]Pein[*]The Dark Chronicler[*]Mef Man[*]infinitus

I love that list BBCode too much. It's so... efficient... ;.;I didn't include ToD because he said he's busy with Dreamland, and I don't want to interfere with any contemporary RPGs (outside of joining them and then forgetting to update my characters :P). I also didn't include Zehvor because he's also busy.I'm taking votes into account, yes, but in the end the decision will be up to the RPG staff. Also, Zehvor:

Lul...I like you, Lev. When I come to power, that wisecracking little head of yours will be first to roll.=PI am frankly astonished that I am getting this swell of support. I was largely unknown in this forum for a large time and many find it hard to keep track of me even now-not to mention that I have a track record of arguing about RPing. I'll readily admit I have experience. Experience that took me 1+ years of THINKING I knew what was going on to get (the nueb years)...I don't believe one ever stops learning.I'll also and just as readily admit that I consider my experience quite shabby in comparison to that of many others of in this forum. I am no legend; not even called a vet by any save Onarax. And just for Hu: I declare I'm east-coast and have a bit of (diminishing) time. xPBut what will be, will be. If the staff wish me to join their ranks, then it most likely will be so. And the same goes for them deeming me the incorrect choice for fifth co-GM. There's really nothing more to say on that matter.EDIT: @TDC: Aw shucks. *Pulls down hat over face*

  • So, with the internet off, can people still use their brain implants to communicate? Or do those use the internet to connect with others?

I am he. On the brain implant matter: I feel they wouldn't work. Considering that they are the equivalent of a chatbox, they would probably use the 'net...But that's my opinion, not a GM's.

  • *sing song voice* I have a question.....Because Techna has virtual reality rooms to live, would it be safe to asume that it has virtual reality rooms for recreational activities? I'm thinking Star Trek holo-deck for some reason...The trekky in me is escaping!

  • The implants connect to each other through the internet, so at the moment they can't work, no.Gravity: Sure, but be aware that recreational activities completed in virtual reality won't translate into increased fitness -- it's all in your character's mind, so only the mental portions of recreation (muscle memory, technique, etc.) will be carried over to real life.

  • What if you actually did move in the VR, it's just that it was in a confined space? Like a sphere with multiple rings and movable places that keep you upright but don't limit movement and such?

  • But then you wouldn't be able to customize your living space with the same degree of flexibility. The Homing District was designed to appeal to the masses, and the masses probably want to be able to exercise without getting tired.EDIT: And another thing -- people wouldn't be able to visit you in your virtual room.

  • I'm not Legolover, but I can say this: there's been a blackout in the Central Square, and the lights just went up a second ago. There's also apparently innumerable fights going on in there, so you could just bump into a few.And for Hackers, Enaltai just ordered them via comlink to get to Base Ermoi, an underground Hacker base beneath the Information District side of the Central Square. -Dovydas
