Techna: Breakdown

IC: Desdemona (Penthouse, The Citadel)"He may not, still," Desde said, leaning in and kissing his cheek softly. "It is...difficult to read him. But he needs me. That much is for certain."-Teezy

IC-Kal:"There was tension enough between you two that I'm lucky I walked in when I did, and not later," Kal growled good-naturedly. "Well...It's about time I should be off. Goodbye, all," Kal said, turning and stepping out the...door-hole.

-==IC: Syran==-Syran looked over, and growled, as the Matoran was speeding across the city quickly. That was not going to do. Syran then created a rather large wall of iron in front of the Matoran, even if just to slow her down, and attempted to morph that into a box, even as she continued to run toward the source of the call, not going to let anything get in the way of getting the source.-==IC: Blade==-"I don't know... Maybe one of the people involved in that fight?" Blade asked with a frown, not certain of the answer to that question.

IC: Mars smirked slightly. The matoran turned as she ran.Iron...I'll remove what could be used by it.In under a second, her external armor and weapons were flying. Mars had charged right around the wall and kept going towards the call.Her speed had lowered again from that one second. But it would reactivate upon further attack or defense from her foe.If need be, I'll Limit Break. But it looks like I don't need to-reactionary speed is high enough to bypass these defenses.

-==IC: Syran==-Syran, however, was not to be deterred, as she created a box around Mars, or, at least, three of the four walls were created quickly. The fourth would only be necessary if she could just quickly get out. Syran, however, never stopped, even as she ran toward the signal.

IC: Mars shoved the box up with a flick of her hands. She flew by before slowing as it tumbled back down, charging towards the source with a speed that outpaced the Fe-Toa's own.

IC: Emma - Housing DistrictEmma smiled in relief when she heard Kinvex and Kairan's voices.>Kinvex, the Housing District was attacked by Hackers...>Again.>I'm sending you my coordinates right now. The battle looks like it's over.>I'm gonna find Kairan.With that, she disconnected the uplink, sheathing her sword, and sprinting for the Citadel.>Kairan, you out there?>The Hackers seem to have retreated from this area.>How things your side?-Void

OOC: Yeah, I didn't age like I expected to...IC: TorchTime: ~0916Citadel, Gust's penthouse"Bye," Torch muttered as Kal brushed by him on his way to the exit.Now only three people stood in the room: Torch, scratching the back of his head self-consciously; Gust, glassy-eyed, looking distant; and Desdemona, her large eyes glancing from Toa to Toa.Gust didn't look at Torch. He didn't even look at Desdemona. His eyes stared at and through the floor underneath his feet, as if he couldn't believe he was standing. What had induced him to suffer such caprice? -- was Desdemona behind it? Certainly Gust's demeanor was different, almost... automatic. Grim. Uninterested.Torch didn't want to think about the consequences."So you can speak again," Torch said to break the silence. "That's... great." He jerked his head to the Great Being. "Desdemona's doing?"

IC, Kinvex: Kinvex sighed.>...Again... how annoying. Alright, I'll be there in a sec...>End TransmissionKinvex turned and began walking to Emma's coordinates.

IC: Emma - New Metru Nui >I'm headed to the Citadel right now. Kinvex is on his way too.Emma paused for a moment, trying to register what Kairan had just said.>One sec, I'll try tapping into some uplink lines, see if I can find any information on a motive...Now, having had come to a full stop, the Toa of Nucleons activated an archaic version of the quantum entanglement system from Techna Nui. It was a re-coded version, feeding off of her com-uplink systems, which provided more or less the basic operations of the internet.>Divert all power to program_wiresearchProgram Wire Search was a special little application she had cooked up in her days as a mercenary.>Initiate full strip of systems...>Search for any uplinks marked _techna_ _CHI_ _citadel_>Firewall detected. Security level _Beta13_. Search impossible.Emma snorted with exasperation, before reluctantly shutting down the program, and continuing her walk to the Citadel.>Too much security on the Techna uplink lines. Guess we'll have to find out the old-fashioned way...-Void

"That answer may be left unknown," Belthnor sighed, getting off of the ground, dusting himself off. "I think this imbecile() got Auress as well. She might want to kill Song and our dragon friend," Belthnor noted, shuddering as he mentioned Aclaraung. Even after knowing that his murders were a lie, he still didn't trust that being.

-==IC: Blade==-Blade frowned at that."Hmm. We might want to get back to New Metru Nui, then... Make sure nothing bad's happened in the mean time..." Blade said, as he didn't know about the fights that had taken place.

IC: Amalia/Belthnor:"I could try to get us there- if you don't mind being repelled," Belthnor said, softly joking."Hey, Blade? What did you do to my Kakama?" Amalia blurted out, realizing what had happened to it after Blade released his power.

-==IC: Blade==-Blade froze, and subtly attempted to straighten the Kakama on his face, which merely resulted in more pieces falling off."Uh... Well... You see..." Blade mumbled, a bead of sweat running down the back of his face."Sorry!" Blade said, a look of dismay on his face.

IC: Amalia/Belthnor: Amalia sighed. Another one of her masks were destroyed- again. She palmed her face, screaming for a moment before looking back at Blade. "You're going to take the bill on that one, Blade," Amalia smirked."Okay. Now that we are done with that, can we get going? This is useless talking amongst ourselves," Belthnor complained.

-==IC: Blade==-Blade nodded, both at Amalia's comment, and Belthnor's question."Right. Let's go." Blade said with a nod, as he began to walk toward New Metru Nui once more.

IC: Amalia/Belthnor:Amalia launched into the air, scouting ahead for the trio. She hoped Blade wold repay her damages with a suiting mask. After all he did destroy it."So, Blade," Belthnor started. "How did her mask break?"

IC: HrunjaHrunja twitched his hand, a whip of barely controlled plasma vibrating in his hand. He slammed it forward, obliterating a drone, before swinging it over towards another, stopping it right in front of the machine, letting the intense heat slowly melt the thing."Let me show you how an old-fashioned person like me deals with this."[iC: Stronin]Stronin punched the wall with an elementally charged fist.

-==IC: Blade==-Blade looked over with a slightly perturbed look."It's all your fault." Blade said half jokingly, but shrugged."I kinda got overloaded by electricity back there, had to release it. Problem was, the resulting explosion kinda damaged my armour, and therefore, mask, which I had swapped with Amalia, in order to get around quicker." Blade explained, motioning to his partially destroyed armour."Therefore, broken mask. No real worries, I think I can replace it..."

IC: Belthnor:"Pathetic," Belthnor murmmered in disgust, appalled by the lack of abilities the Toa had. He hoped Blade didn't hear that, or else...

-==IC: Blade==-"Pathetic? How so?" Blade asked, skeptically raising an eyebrow."I had absorbed about 80% more electricity than was good for me; and had to release all that at once... It's in a way a very good thing that no-one was in front of me, because this was more or less just a small backfire of the bolt I released... I'm willing to bet the rest, if I hadn't shot it into space, would have probably roasted someone alive, instantly." Blade said, but shrugged."But hey, good thing it didn't. I try to refrain unless necessary..."

IC: AMTaOS / Testing FacilityAfter a good five minutes of combat, the duo finally took out all of the drones. The combat, which was probably highly entertaining, has not been fully recorded here due to licensing issues. After that was complete, what was left was them hovering in a pit with a hallway before them leading to a crossroads, and a crusher right in front of the pit.IC: Ezraftin + AMTaOS / Testing FacilityEzraftin watched as Stronins elementally charged fist split the metal in half with ease, cutting a hole into... pitch blackness. Ezraftin approached and raised his light-charged hand, throwing a ball of light out that hovered in the darkness, showing a dark tunnel - the tunnels underneath the ship, once more."Well," he said. "Are you ready?""No. He's going to stay right here and await testing. Because I told him to."-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: TrakudaThe crusher isn't a problem. But a crossroads? An traveller's worst nightmare."Which way?" I ask; hopefully Hrunja will choose for me.

IC: Belthnor:"I used to be scientist, you know. And I've known people in your situation. Most of them did die, however, but there was a way to instead absorb, not release. It could be possible that you could get your powers back, but I could not help; I am merely a biological clean up member," Belthnor explained to Blade.

-==IC: Blade==-"... Was it that obvious?" Blade asked with a slight chuckle, as he sighed, he held out his hand, but he couldn't even have a spark appear."Yeah... That didn't go very well." Blade said, as he sighed once more, but shrugged, as it wasn't the biggest problem right then."Hey, at least I can still use my mask and physical powers. And that I'm not dead."

IC: Belthnor:Belthnor gave a hidden smile. "You would've hit me with a bolt of lightning. But do not worry. Since you are a Toa, I doubt the essence of you element is not inside of you; rather you need it to be energized, much like a Matoran. I do not know how you could do this, but there must be a way," Belthnor assured.

-==IC: Blade==-Blade shrugged at that first one."Perhaps if I were very annoyed, yes, but I typically fight better with my sword anyway." Blade said with a slight chuckle, and nodded at the second statement."That's possible. The only problem is finding that way..." Blade said, with a slight frown.

IC-Kal:Kal sat in his office, tinkering around with his lightsaber-he was working to increase the energy output of the weapon, because it seemed a little weak now compared to some of the things the hackers had jury-rigged themselves-that, and it was more of a war weapon now, not self defense. He was using it a lot more often.As he was working on that, he remembered something. He stood up quickly, and ran to Gust's penthouse room/office."GUST!" He yelled, bursting back in, half out of breath. He had his curve-hilted lightsaber in hand, a stark contrast to Gust's retrosaber, with belt-mounted power pack."We never had our duel," he said, once he'd caught his breath, smiling. "I can't very well leave without a duel, can I?"

[iC: Stronin]"Hmm, go with the Toa of Light and find a priceless artefact of doom, or stay with the somewhat insane AI woman with a hot voice," he muttered. "Well, Toa of Light it is."IC: HrunjaHrunja pulled out a single coin. "Heads we go right, and tails we go left."He flipped it.

OOC: Well, I'm sure you have your own coin at home. Or at least dice. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you have more than a few d20's.IC: Ezraftin / Testing Facility"Glad you made such a difficult choice." Ezraftin replied as he stepped into the darkness. The tunnel wrapped around this large, circular room, it seemed. He decided he would go right.-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Hrunja"Kid ... ditch the sunglasses. They look ridiculous over your mask."

IC: TrakudaThe glasses suddenly whiz off into the ceiling and smash, "Look, let's just get going."

IC: Gust (Penthouse, The Citadel)"I, uh...a duel?"-Teezy

IC-Grochi:"Look at your belt. Now over to my hand. Now back to me. Back to my hand. Look at your belt. Look in the mirror. Look at the reflextion of your belt." Grochi smiled."You see that little contraption there I created? Yeah. Practice duel. With that."

IC: Ezraftin / Testing Facility"I'm sure it was." Ezraftin replied as he moved further down the tunnel. Yes, it was definitely looping around the room. After a while, he came to a large door. He shook the handle and slammed it repeatedly, finally getting it to burst open after forcing his body weight against it. Beyond there seemed to be a stairway up."What do you think?
