IC: Song"What are you talking about? I'm fine. Better than I ever have been. I got a new ticker, and a hunger to match!"

IC: Emma - Citadel/HospitalOnce everyone was gone, or knocked out, Emma switched her comlink back on, sending a brief message out through the airwaves:>Kairan, Kinvex? If either of you are out there, I'm over here at the Citadel with Blade and Lekar. Blade knocked out in the sick bay, but other than that, nothing's new. She paused, trying to think of anything else to say.>Contact me if you get this message.-Void

-==IC: Kairan==-Kairan had actually reached the Citadel right about then, and raised an eyebrow.-> I'm here; but what's Blade doing there? Kairan replied, wondering what was going on.

IC, Kinvex: Kinvex finally reached the Citadel. It had taken him a while to walk, but he made it.>Alright, I'm here, Emma. Where are you?

IC: Emma - Citadel/HospitalEmma grinned at the knowledge that her friends were okay.>I'm down in the med-bay with Blade. I'm not sure exactly what happened to him, but I think he's opened some old wounds he got back on the Techna.-Void

-==IC: Kairan==-Kairan frowned, puzzled at that.-> The Techna? But we barely even scratched him then... And I don't recall him getting many injuries during the Hacker fight...

IC: Ezraftin / Big Canyon"There were," Ezraftin replied. "They separated us during that weird space of three hours that suddenly skipped by our transversing of the city. We left that one young one back there... by now the gravity field must have long since waned, so he should have made his way back. But now it's just the four - or five - of us."As they wandered out into the wasteland, towards the city, Ezraftin asked, "Why do you think the ship crashed?"IC: AMTaOS / Testing FacilityAMTaOS watched the last twenty seconds repeatedly, over and over and over again. Watching her own death, and experiencing it, repeatedly. For now, she was stuck in an auxiliary computer. With her main functions down, the power was completely deactivated in the facility.The test subjects, in their tubes, were all freed to go about their separate ways. The fluids drained out, pouring down through the ship for disposal along the bottom of the great ravine. Those who were alive attempted to flee, as soon as their strength had returned; some attempted to loot the dead for anything they could find. Many would be trapped in the facility for a long time, trying to find the way out. Others would just try to trash it.The dead were still dead, of course, their bodies sprawled out in front of the tubes. They could do nothing as the others ran out; they had no desire to.They were just dead.AMTaOS was aware of all of this. She could only wait. One day, maybe, somebody would activate the emergency power. The self-repair mechanisms could become active, and her body could be taken and repaired. Everything would return to normal, someday.It didn't matter if it was 100 years, or 1000 years. It didn't matter. As long as she was still alive...........This was a triumph....-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Hrunja"It happened during that hacker assault. Maybe they might have done something?"

IC: The replacement heart of Song began to let loose its stored army. The assault was beginning.A first wave of infected blood cells flew through the circulatory system in seconds. Each infiltrated capillaries; each moved into a lymph vessel. And each then attacked a lymph node or organ, taking out the cells which posed greatest threat to them first.The result was nothing less than devastating. Song's lymphatic system was frail and without any previous knowledge of this attacker. The cells of its various 'bases' were soon infected and turning into whatever the variants of the virus wished them to be.This new wave now spread from its bases. The adjacent parts of Song's body, including bones and blood vessels, were soon consumed. It was only a matter of time before the rest was as well without most of its immune protection...

IC: Emma - Citadel/HospitalDespite the fact that Kairan couldn't actually see the movement, Emma still shrugged.>I don't know, I'm not a doctor. All I know is, he's injured, and he's currently passed out in the sick-bay.-Void

IC-Aclaraung:"Song, it is your heart I am talking about," Aclaraung growled mentallly. "Something seems wrong about it. Cancerous, one might say...though much worse than any cancer. Who did you get it from?"

IC: SongSong blinked. She felt quite strange. "I think it was Mars.... At least, that's what Auress' mind says."

-==IC: Kairan==--> I'm on my way. Kairan replied, wondering what could have caused the injuries. After a few accidental false turns in the citadel, he finally made his way there, and, panting, reached Emma and the others."Hey." Kairan said with a slight wave, as he caught his breath.

IC: Aures (Citadel, Cafeteria):"Song..." Auress said, dismayed that she forgot about Song's element.

IC: Song"Sorry dear, but this might count as an emerg-" Song stopped abruptly, staring at her hand. Before her eyes, the color of her natural armor started to change.Abd it wasn't just her hand, it was slowly spreading up her arm.

IC-Aclaraung:"Song, permission to use drastic measures?"

IC: Auress (Citadel, Cafeteria):Auress' eyes widened and she quickly started to look around, "Doctor!" she yelled, hoping one was nearby.

IC: Song"That might be prudent." Song answered the dragon. She was remarkably calm, even though the change had reached her elbow.

IC-Aclaraung:"Have you any experience with an Iden? If not, this might be a little weird," the Dragon said. He proceeded to do something odd-almost like somebody forcefully activating an Iden on another person, mentally grabbing Song's consciousness, proceeding to try and drag it out of her body as her body itself changed.

IC: The heart had given its soldiers enough time to prepare. It now launched the second wave. Song's nervous system and muscle were simultaneously attacked. Hordes of blood cells swarmed from bone and penetrated the vessels near fibers and nerve bundles. Spreading from those points, they moved to take over her more basic functions.

OOC: Lovin' that ending there, Lev ;PIC: Trakuda"Hackers? I guess in the battle something got damaged. Or, the Hackers deliberately went in and trashed the important stuff to get it to crash." Trakuda guessed with a shrug.

IC: SongAclaraung acted just in time. No sooner was Song pulled out of her body, the virus attacked her brain. Resistance would non-existent, due to her body's lack of a will.

IC: Auress (Citadel, Cafeteria):As Song's body slumped from the lack of spirit, Auress rushed over, not touching her body, unsure if it had killed her or not.

IC: Emma - Citadel, HospitalEmma turned and smiled, "Hey."When she noticed Kairan's out-of-breathedness, she added, "Y'okay? You look like you just ran a marathon to get here..."-Void

-==IC: Kairan==-"Yep; this place could be laid out better, though..." Kairan said, as he leaned against the wall with a nod, not really doing much more for the moment, as he was, after all, still trying to catch his breath

IC: Lekar (Citadel)"Hi." Lekar said, nodding to Kairan. He was seated in a chair across the hall from the door, with a book in his hand. IC: Krash (Krahzia)Ssssssss... BOOM! The sound rumbled across Krahzia, originating from Krash's invention, which was a cannon. The pebble that had been in it was now flying high away, to a place. A place somewhere. Krash wasn't sure where. OOC: Just as a warning, I'm going to be very inactive until Friday. Will only be on once, twice a day.Zakaro

OOC: If Levacius was being attacked by evil virus monsters worming his way into his brain, he'd just surge elemental energy through his entire body. As Toa of Lightning are naturally possessing of a high resistance to their element, it makes sense that their cellular structure is highly resistant to electricity. A spark not quite strong enough to effect everything else sent through the entire system would neutralize any unwanted issues.Of course, he'd never get a heart transplant in the first place.IC: Ezraftin / Wastelands"Yes, but see, I've looked at personal records and the like. They try to keep it all covered up, but it doesn't work as well as they'd think. See, the Hackers primary leadership - a former friend of mine among them - weren't trying to destroy the ship. They were trying to drive it through a wormhole back to Spherus Magna.""I was able to witness the final battle, and the bloodshed it caused. The normal combatants were never a big enough problem to have damaged the ship itself - all of those parts they could have got to were outside the city. Keep in mind, the city was only a portion of the ship - think of those tunnels we went through. Hundreds of them, twisting under the city and leading to the vital portions. Gust and Ryjak performed a lot of damage when they unleashed their full elemental powers, but that couldn't have been it. Something had to have happened to the ship, something that wasn't caused by the Hackers."He looked at the mask again. He was doing that an awful lot, as if he was scared it would simply up and fly away if he ignored it. "I was hoping, perhaps, we could find out more from Mata-Nui himself. But I imagine after 100,000 years -"He said that with a note of bitterness to his tone."-he may find trouble reaching us again. At least for a while."-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Ezraftin / Wastelands"Hope is part of the reason I led this nearly lethal mission in the first place. The people of the city have no symbol of hope to stand behind. There is nothing to rally behind - they need something to give them hope. If it be the presence of Mata-Nui or not falls upon their heads."IC: Blacklight / New Metru-NuiHaving perused as much as Mars' consciousness as it felt, along with implanting a few false suggestions and modifying a few things ever so slightly, Kopraga continued his speaking."There are those in the city who would stand against you holding my blade. They are the weak - the ones that do not understand true power. They would have you lock me away for a thousand centuries. But you - you know what that would mean. OOC:@Lev: Then again, there's no guarantee that such a spark would kill off this virus. It's a bit more resilient than normal ones.IC: It took an hour, but the main portion of the transformation was complete. The 'heart' was now the mind of Song's body.Agreed, Mars thought back. Power is made to be used...That is clear now. These fools don't deserve to live, and I will be doing them a favor by dicing them with your blade.I will start that here, She continued. I'll be able to attack on all directions from this area.She walked to a small house in the Citadel. Leaping onto its side and holding on with one hand, she looked for a window.

IC: [Emma] - Citadel, HospitalEmma chuckled, "Naw, they really don't design buildings like they used to, do they. Plus, there's been a lot of damage and re-construction after the Hacker bombing, so things have gotten a bit... muddled, let's say."Her smile dropping slightly, she turned to where Blade lay, motioning for Kairan to join her, "Well, here he is. You know him better than I do, can you tell what's going on with him?"-Void

IC: Hrunja"Ezraftin. We succeeded in finding Mata Nui. That was the hard part. Now, all we need to do is wake him up."Hrunja smiled."Shouldn't be too hard."

OOC: What happens to a virus when it's struck by a bolt of lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else....That line is still lame, no matter how many times you try to say it.IC: Blacklight / New Metru-NuiKopraga, contented, retreated deeper into the blade. From now on, it would simply be more destructive urges being poured out, to keep Mars going. He would continue growing stronger and stronger, whilst slowly taking control of its own wielder.And one day, break free.IC: Ezraftin / Wastelands"Yes, though I do not think the Mask of Life can help us this time. IC: Amalia:When Kairan entered the room, Amalia blinked for a second. Seeing Blade was enough, but two Blades? She recalled Blade mentioning he had a clone, Kairan, created by some psycho doctor. It did not matter. She waited patiently to speak with him, after overhearing Emma's request to analyze Blade.

-==IC: Kairan==-Kairan frowned, but nodded, and looked at his wound, and then stepped back in shock."Wait; that..." Kairan had seen the odd-looking pattern that was imprinted as the wound that Blade currently had before; it was on a piece of rubble near the Techna when he had woken up after the crash. But how could Blade have gotten an injury with that pattern? Unless..."Of course..." Kairan muttered, and frowned again."He... he must've saved me during the crash... But why...?" Kairan wondered, though the other Toa of Lightning never responded, being unconscious and all.
