IC: AMTaOS + Ezraftin / Final Battle"Seriously?" was all the AI could respond.Ezraftin charged forward, attempting to make a rush through the shield and go for an attack underneath. AMTaOS lifted the floor beneath him as he ran, though he was able to leap forward as the plate moved up and land on the next one... only for it to lower completely, opening a gap in the floor. He move quickly to the side before he could fall through, covering the floor below him with a plate of hard light as he moved to stand.OOC: Levacius would have done a backflip or something.-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: AMTaOS + Ezraftin / The Final Battle"I have run a brain scan. There is nothing wrong with you. How are you so stupid?""Stronin, can you destroy those ADR?" Ezraftin shouted as he sliced his axe through the air, sending a blast of light that sliced through two of them as they aimed their weapons at him. "We need to act fast. I can taste the poison in the air... and it won't just be tasting for you guys."-Toa Levacius Zehvor

[iC: Stronin]Stronin snapped his fingers, letting the metal parts of all the ADR collapse to the floor."Because I work on a completely different realm of mind to you," he replied.

IC: AMTaOS + Ezraftin / The Final Battle"I see. Would this be the realm of you're insane, by any chance?"A few ADR remained in the room, seeking refuge on the other side of the anti-elemental shield. The bombs continued raining down, now coming from two separate launchers rather than one as they had been previously.Ezraftin thought to the earlier fights, and in a sudden gasp of realization, he turned to Hrunja and shouted, "Hey, can you do that sword thing again?"-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Hrunja"Bit low on juice, but yes, I can."

IC: Ezraftin + AMTaOS / Final Battle"Then you'll know when to use it..." Ezraftin replied, grasping his axe in the perfect way to fire off two simultaneous rhotuka spinners at AMTaOS. The robot simply lowered the plates from above as Ezraftin began firing more at different directions. Then, rather than continue the barrage, he rose his aim up, towards where the panels were being hooked from the ceiling. Sure enough, the metal was simply severed, and collapsed to the ground. Realizing her vulnerability, AMTaOS called for the panels to begin sliding over... but that would still take a couple of seconds.-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Hrunja"ENUMA ELISH!" roared Hrunja as he fired the massive blast of plasma once more at the robot.

IC: Ezraftin + AMTaOS / Final BattleThe massive blast of plasma streaked across the field of battle like a crazy person in a field of sports, colliding epically with the anti-elemental shield to absolutely no effect as the panels were reset up above."No, not that! I meant where you shot swords out and murdered everything! Can you do that again?"-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: HrunjaThen the swords rained out right after the plasma blast collided."It's shinier this way."

IC: Ezraftin + AMTaOS / Final BattleThe slight delay cost a number of swords their lives that day, as they collided with some of the lowered panels which had been given their chance to move. Luckily, not all of them were over, and many of the blades made their way through and collided with the hanging robot, some colliding with her armor plates to no effect, but others cut into the holes between and hit her vital equipment. One of the blades even bent slightly as it flew out and got to where her bombs were being fired from and sliced through the tube where bombs were moved to be shot out, causing it to fall to the ground. Her hollow, robotic scream resonated across the room."Warning!" a voice, not hers, called out. "Explosive deployment launcher #2 has been disabled. Major damage to central control systems."Ezraftin was breathing a sigh of relief. He had thought they had given up the advantage there - losing that vital chance to attack could have been very, very bad."Neurotoxin control has been lost. Preparing to release all deadly neurotoxin in - one minute."A computer screen on a far wall flared to life, showing a counter at 1:00:00 suddenly drop to :59:03, and begin to drop down. They had 59 seconds left."Good job. You're about to waste all of my neurotoxin. I was saving some of that. On the bright side, for you, your death will be much, much quicker.""We need to hurry!"-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: HrunjaHrunja began to rapidly fire more blades at the robot.

IC: Ezraftin + AMTaOS / Final BattleEzraftin continued firing Rhotuka spinners, cutting through the connectors on the newly moved panels as they came in. Many of Hrunja's swords were lost still, but this allowed them to continue slipping in.One of the blades managed to hit another major location."Warning. Energy shield controls lost. Powering down to preserve power.""What? No. That is inefficient! Shields stay on! Shields, stay on!"The anti-elemental shields were not to stay on, however, and shut down almost immediately. AMTaOS began causing the floor to shift in all manner of weird ways, tossing Ezraftin to the side and trying to shoot everyone into the air. Then, beneath each member of the group, the floor completely pulled itself to the side, allowing them to slip through into the darkness, which was now slightly less dark thanks to glowing ADR eyes as those ADR fired at the falling group to add insult to injury."Okay, so here's that falling part of my vision... perfect"OOC: Here's where Wotz saves the day, we finish the battle, and the quest ends climactically.-Toa Levacius Zehvor

[iC: Stronin]Trakuda and Hrunja found themselves being grabbed by Stronin, whose mask activated, keeping him afloat. Normally they might have died from the impact, but he had managed to get them before they fell too far. He quickly descended after Ezraftin."You have Rhotuka! They can help you hover for a while!"

OOC: Screw it, I'm switching to third person Thanks for giving me some time to shine, I might have missed the fight otherwise IC: TrakudaWith his Kadin, Trakuda was able to stay aloft without Stronin's help, and with his gravity powers, kept the others in the air too. The Toa of gravity fired off many blasts from his arm blasters at some of the ADR as he caused his companions to float up their respective holes. He attempted to keep some of the panels down with gravity, then realised what he had the chance to do. He reached out with his hands, his brow furrowed, and clenched his fists, attempting to tear AMTaOS from her place on the ceiling by increasing her wight immensely."Who ate all the pies, the burgers and the fries..." he murmured as he did this, attempting to mock the new weight he was applying.OOC: ...And then I get told those anti-gravity things still work without the forcefield

OOC: And you'd be 100% correct. I was waiting for your gravity powers to save everyone from falling. Hubert had other ideas. IC: Ezraftin + AMTaOS / Final BattleEzraftin fired off a Rhotuka spinner and grabbed onto it, shooting straight up. He fired off a beam light that cut a hole through a number of panels as they closed up and shot back through to meet with the others, who had already pulled back up.He say Trakuda attempting to use his gravity powers, but to no avail. The counter at the fall room was at :29 remaining. AMTaOS was obviously stressing out right about now."You're not scientists. You're not doctors. You're not even full time employees. You're all failures. You're all failures."Ezraftin stood back and gathered up a beam of glowing light. IC: Emma - New Metru NuiEmma followed Lekar and Blade swiftly through the city, until at last, they came to the Citadel."Well, that was quietest trip I've ever had," she muttered to herself before pushing open the doors for the hoverboard to enter.-Void

IC: Ezraftin + AMTaOS / The Final BattleThe laser beam and energy bolts struck the armored robotic form to no great effect, but were able to put huge holes and dents as the timer went to :19. Finally, another voiced called down."Major damage sustained to shields and armor. Activating intelligence core data wipe and disposal; redirecting neurotoxin to outside facility."A swirling nimbus of energy appeared around the AI, and the ceiling panels around her base began to peel up and create a large opening. The huge robotic form began to be sucked up above; as did the ceiling in that room above, going up all the way to the ceiling of the CKC Testing Facility. The intelligence core, now with its eye dark and powerless, was pulled up into the air above, and tossed onto the roof of the facility.AMTaOS had been defeated.Of course, all that the four in room would see was everything being sucked up into oblivion above, as the ceiling hole of the room above and above those quickly closed. Still, the one remained here.Ezraftin created a stairway of hard-light, and began walking up. "Alright you guys. It's time to end all of this."OOC: Okay, that's 15,000 XP split four ways, so 3,750 XP to each individual. Anybody get a level up? -Toa Levacius Zehvor

He considered reaching his hand out, but he had heard the stories of the curses dealt to those who touched the mask. Even if Mata-Nui was within it, he didn't consider direct physical contact to be physical."Mata-Nui. We, children of the Great Beings, and those who you shepherded, have returned for you amidst this derelict wreck, to bring you back to the city we have carved upon this shattered wasteland. OOC: Okay, that was pretty good.

IC: TrakudaTrakuda gaped in awe at the mask, then realised his friends had knelt, and followed suite, bowing down before the Ignika.

IC: Ezraftin / SCPU RoomThe Toa of Light stood. "We cannot leave him here. And if the Umbrae or Hackers get to him... no. We have to get him to New Metru-Nui."He encased his hand in a gauntlet of hard light. With the protection if afforded, he gingerly lifted the mask up."Trakuda, can you use your gravity powers to get us out of here and back to the edge of the canyon?"-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Hrunja"I wonder what has happened to it in our absence."

IC: Krash (Krahzia)He had finished fusing the trash can and hollow orb, and had cut out the bottom of the can and the area of the orb where the bottom was. Grabbing the spare metal, he put it into his implant and waited as it grinded the metal into gunpowder. IC: Lekar (Citadel)"Um, yes sir, we do have public medical wards here. Come with me...""Alright." Pulling Blade over with his powers, and motioning for Emma to come, Lekar followed the front desk person into the hospital section.Zakaro

-==IC: Syran==-Syran frowned, as she noticed the Matoran had somehow reached the sword first, and looked back, scratching her head, as she honestly didn't notice the Matoran pass her. Syran sighed, and activated her Avsa on Mars, even as she attempted to back away, and get away from the speedy Matoran.

IC: Dozens of mimiviruses within Mars' torso dissolved into the separate proteins they were composed of. Each activation couldn't steal life energy from Mars. As she had none, it merely broke part of her down. This action without reciprocal did not grant anything to the toa.To feel this loss did activate the 'matoran's reflexes, though. The attack would not go without retaliation. And Mars had already prepped herself to use her new falchion.Suddenly Mars increased speed, blitzing from dozens of bio away to two. The jump was brief, but gave her enough distance to close the remaining distance in under two seconds.But the mercenary bearing down wasn't all the toa had to worry about. Thanks to her sudden burst of speed, Mars had been able to trigger Blacklight's powers numerous times. Shadow bolts were flying at and around the Fe-Toa.

-==IC: Syran==-Syran raised an eyebrow, and dodged to the side, creating a shield to dodge any shadow attacks from the Matoran, as she continued to use her Avsa on the Matoran, intrigued by the fact that she wasn't getting any life energy, despite the fact that it was obviously targeting her.What are you...? Syran wondered, noting the odd effect, or at least the non-visible part.

IC: Amalia/Belthnor:Amalia fought back the worried sense in her, after seeing Blade injured. She didn't know how that could have happened to him."So, both of you know Blade as well?" Amalia asked Emma and Lekar as the group followed the front desk person to the hospital section.Belthnor completed his mission, and departed from the rest. He then ventured to the Citadel, where he would attempt to get his way in the organization Kal had promised if he had done what he said.

OOC: Time Alter Emiya. O, yeah.IC: Yet more mimiviruses fell apart. A small hole was growing in the exact center of Mars, about as thick as a small bullet but with much less length.Running out. Several options-good one.The sun's light in a several-bio radius around the Fe-Toa disappeared. The ploy wasn't meant to slow down her foe that much; just enough that a simultaneous attack would work.And Mars only thought in that moment:Limit broken.Normally, her body was under a limit. Its reflexive speed was its highest achievable. As such, it was normally only used in reactions-the friction created ripped off parts of Mars' body and armor. Thus, extreme usage would whittle away the moving parts of her to nothing.She had just removed that limit. Her highest achievable speed would now be her standard.Meaning that Mars was currently moving like the wearer of a Kakama.As such, her leap was carefully calculated. She couldn't see and neither could her foe. While this may have meant extra calculations were needed at the beginning to account for her enemy's reaction to the darkness, it also meant that the toa would have a harder time trying to block the attack. And blocking was all someone of her low speed could do against such a speedy enemy. Not to mention that Mars was moving at a pace she had reserved for reaction several times previously-it was doubtful the toa would account for this offensive increase at all.With an expulsion of strength and speed at once, Mars flew free from the ground and right over the toa-this ensured that her movements could not be tracked. It was simple to whirl in her landing in such a way that she could diagonally bifurcate the toa with the falchion. Even a crude block could do little to stop it, as the blade would cleave right through any metal like it was mere ice.
